I have had such a positive experience going to therapy. I was one of those people that held everything in. Which was never good for my mental health. Miracle has been a wonderful caring therapist that has helped me overcome that. Teri has been wonderful making sure I have had all my paper work straightened out for insurance purposes. And Rick, the CEO, he is just so wonderful; passionate about helping others and so kind. Geeze this place has truly saved me at times.

The Rio rancho office never got back to us after submitting an application. One I contacted them were not helpful at all. Sent message for a superior to contact me and received a response from Geri at the Taos location. She was very helpful and quick to get my son in patient. Things went smooth initially. After a week in patient received a call from the Clinician that my son would have to be picked up as he did not need that level of treatment. No good explanation. There was a quirk with billing that I was getting resolved. I feel this was the issue since this was the initial reason I was contacted by the clinician. They obviously don’t really care about the patients well being . Recommended IOP therapy which my son did twice and was not working for him. They are the ones who recommended in patient treatment and referred me to NM wellness. Why would they accept him after having an application and phone intake if they felt he did not need that level of treatment? What a waste of time and trauma to my son who was never told he was being released until my husband showed up for him to his surprise. Was not even packed or ready. Don’t waste your time go somewhere else where they care.

Was nervous at first not knowing what to expect. I was able to let go of one habit ,and gain new healthy habits , with out the people in the program and the facility workers everyone included from the owners , the nurses , medical staff , therapist , direct care staff if it wasn’t for all of them and there support and influence to keep going I don’t think I would have stayed . It was more then a treatment center it was a family and I got to be a part of it . , towards the end of my 30 days I wanted to stay longer.. , thank you new Mexico wellness

TCRHCC was my clinic/ hospital since childhood. Early 2018, was referred transfer to Kayenta Clinic: since then been medically treated well: dental, ENT, and several ER visits. Received my Provider, she's great: referrals to other medical updates - she got departments calling me fir schedules that I needed done. Now waiting for appointment dates to arrive and getting them done.
At TCRHCC, was fine with the facility until a short time before being transferred - my doctor informed me by stating, "I have over 200 patients a week, so I only have 7 minutes to see to a you, and you look fine to me." And he left the exam room. I had a bad infected ear. Yes, he did come in and he didn't even do an exam on my ear, no medication, very unprofessional and very rude Oriental Doctor. I went to the an office to request a transfer to another clinic or hospital that same day. I now am satisfied with my medical services. I thank God for the right medical doctors and their facilities . Keeping them in prayers.

Wonderful people.
Had a bad tooth, badly infected, literally kept me up all night, and then I called them this morning. Got me right in and took care of it efficiently and with compassion. Everyone on staff was very helpful.

This facility deserves a MUCH higher rating than it currently has. The staff at the ATU are absolutely S-Tier human beings and top-notch professionals. These guys know their stuff, and are some of the kindest, most compassionate and understanding people I’ve had the privilege of meeting. I have been to several inpatient facilities before, and this one is by far the best. It’s a very small unit, with a very calm and welcoming vibe. The real treat here is definitely the staff, though. These are genuinely some of my favorite people I’ve ever met. Andy, Liz, Siena, Mel, Laura, literally everybody, all the behavioral techs, all the nurses, those guys deserve a pay raise, SERIOUSLY. Axis, PLEASE, I BEG of you, pay these people more. They barely make more than me, and I work at a dollar store. These people are the REASON I’m sitting at home right now feeling like myself. Shout outs to David for driving me home, Dr. Powers for believing in me, and Dr. Ketner for supporting me and saving my best friend’s life.

My stay the ATU in Durango, Colorado was absolutely one of the most beneficial, positive & wonderfully, life altering experiences ever. Their individually personalized, one on one treatment, support & sincere caring truly touched my heart & life...so much so that I didn’t want to leave!
The beautiful Dr Kumar & her team, Cowboy Joe, Mia (my blonde), the sweetest, most kind & helpful Jennifer & all the other team members taught me that I am enough & that I definitely matter! Today I went to the Crpt IHS for the flu shot. Man, I tell you, I had a good experience there the people were so extra nice. I could not believe it. They treated me like royalty. I had went to shadow mountain a few years back, and they have really helped me change my life for the better. I went in anxious and insecure, and everyone here (including Randal and Richard, and a lot more staff I can’t remember the name of) had lifted me up and supported me in ways I’ve never experienced in other facilities. Randal had helped me become more confident in myself while Richard had helped me understand my relationship with life and god deeper, and they gave me the opportunity to go forward to another sober living out in Huntington Beach, which has all lead to me coming up on 2 years sober this months, a finance I love, and a life that I feel like I’m thriving in. Shadow mountain was a fundamental part of my life changing from relentless drug abuse and hurting myself and others around me, to growth in myself and a life where I have value and purpose. This is an exceptional treatment experience for addiction. The staff, led by the amazing Randall Staton, is extraordinary; many professionals passionate about helping people like me. The facility itself is nestled in Shadow Mountain and it is well maintained and very comfortable. The mountain itself is a very spiritual place. It has a lot of power and one can feel it just by being there. If you or a loved one needs help with addiction, I highly recommend Shadow Mountain Recovery in Taos, New Mexico. It's one of a kind and truly effective.

I’ve been coming to New Mexico Treatment Center for some time now there’s been a lot of staff that have came an gone it’s sad just when we start to open up to these counselors the next week they’re gone .Theres a few really good counselors up stairs .Theres 1 Dedicated to Her patience the most is Darlene, any time anyone has questions or concerns she’s on it. She goes above & beyond for her patience helps get dog food donated for those who are homeless with animals. They didn’t have security when I first started coming now they do it’s helped, u just have those without any where to go so yes they do hang around . I think they’re should be more programs that are hands on because Being an addict is one thing and for some it’s even harder for some to sit in a room full active users it makes it hard for those who are taking their sobriety serious. Keep up the fight to end addiction.

Been going since I was a teen and they’ve always been professional and accommodating. I’ve seen a few different therapists and have learned everyone has different teaching methods that may not suit you individually. Don't let courtesy stop you from asking to change to a different provider. However it's a bit unfortunate they removed services from over the phone for those that live far but don't have the means to video call.

I’ve been going to Sol Vista for approximately 20 years. Through every intake I was a broken woman. Upon every exit plan, I was a better woman for having dedicated and persevered to my well-being. Sol Vista helped me get and stay sober, bury my best friend and family members, provided me with the tools to improve the quality of my life. When life had beaten me down, I made a phone call either to the crisis hotline or to the facility itself, and I was always met with availability from somebody I reached out to.
I did all the work.
⭐️Showed up when I was supposed to.
⭐️ Participated in group counseling.
⭐️ I was courteous when I needed to cancel an appointment.
⭐️ A journaled so I could be Accountable to the actions I needed to take in my recovery.
⭐️ I was courageous as I painstakingly moved towards a healthy pattern of thinking, Perspective and behavior.
⭐️ I wanted to get well so bad that I did what I was instructed to do.
⭐️ I stopped making excuses as to why I shouldn’t go get help.
ITS WORK!!!! Being In a constant state of despair or getting help are both difficult choices.
It’s doing things I didn’t want to do, so I could learn how to do things differently.
I chose to get help. My life got better.
Please don’t give up on yourself. Don’t point your finger as to where somebody could’ve done you better. Advocate for yourself. You are worthy and deserving of a beautiful life. And if nobody has told you today that they love you, I do🌟

Transgender care....... 😂.....I came here for help transitioning and these people don't have a clue. I got misgendered by Kyle after talking to him for an hour. They sent my a intake paper to sign and he had misgendered me all through it!
Then my therapist..........just read all of the bad reviews and go to UC HEALTH where they actually do know how to counsel transgender people....these people may honestly try.....but they just don't understand nothing about being transgender or the hate we face.....I was their first transgender patient and it sincerely showed....I spent a whole day crying because of these people after wasting almost 5 months. They told me that I had to talk about "other" things to get my letter.i came from Florida and didn't understand how transition worked here. So they made me have therapy for things I didn't

It can be quite difficult to get into Santa Fe Recovery Center(SFRC) through traditional means. I suggest making a visit to a Santa Fe hospital emergency room and telling the doctor you want to go to SFRC detox. These patients are given priority.
I found Santa Fe Recovery to be the best detox I have attended in long list of treatments attempted in new mexico. With the help and support of SFRC I was able to launch the longest period of clean time I have achieved to date. I most certainly recommend it. There is no magic pill or program that will fix an addict. There's no cure for addiction. There is only treatment, which, with the full participation of the addict, can be of great assistance in regaining a happy and healthy life.
If you encounter a problem that threatens your detox or recovery you must advocate for yourself. You cannot expect people to read your mind.
Any current medications must be reviewed and documented by a doctor at the time of entrance. Make sure staff has this documentation before beginning detox to prevent any interruption of dosing. Otherwise it'll have to be re- prescribed by their doctor who is very busy, so this may take 5 days or more.
If someone asks you to take a medication you are allergic to Do Not Take It! Inform or repeat the issue to staff. They do not force medication in your mouth and compel you to swallow it.
Do not expect to get along with every single staff member; they are people just like us; sometimes with personalities that clash with our own. Avoid staff that upset you or make you uncomfortable when possible. Tell your counselor the situation. They can advise the best course of action.
Do not expect any staff member to work harder for you than you do for yourself; no one can do this for you.
Even if detox/rehab doesn't go the way you had hoped or you are not able maintain recovery at worst you were able to achieve a bit of clean time(which is no small thing) and you know where to come back when you're ready. Or where not to come back and try another program. Just keep trying. Our worst and most compleat failures are the goals we never attempt to reach

The phone service is terrible. It's 50/50 on whether or not your call is answered. Especially at the appointment desk or clinic. A telephone operator told me they are instructed to transfer calls to only certain numbers (extensions).

I was taken to court without my knowledge and for 23 months I was traumatized. I have to go to therapy to heal from therapy (switched companies completely). Thank you New Mexico wellness! New Mexico wellness is a great place to get treatment. You are able to discuss the issues that cause you to drink. You get more than lessons on breathing, mindfulness and emotional regulation. You get true care and support. I was discharged early due to my dishonest behavior. However I have been out for 5 days now and have not had a drink. Every other rehab I've been to I either had a drink the same day or the day after I left. I have true hope for my future. They have medically assisted treatment for both alcohol and narcotics. I highly recommend New Mexico wellness. They're not perfect but neither is anybody or any place. I got what I needed to stay sober for the rest of my life I truly do thank New Mexico wellness and all the staff.
