Great Therapist and Counseling!!! I've been going here for years ((7years)) The therapists that have been assigned to me have been very understanding, and considerate. The only downside I know of, is if you're not pre-scheduled you must reschedule on Thursdays only. Aside from that, I absolutely love this place. I feel comfortable switching therapists at any time, I know the doctors that provide my medicine; listen to me and allow me to speak freely on how I would like my medicine to be. Aside from the long waitlist, I absolutely recommend this place to anyone who needs to go into therapy

I called to make an appointment for my husband and the receptionist, “Danielle” was extremely helpful, caring and patient in figuring out how to get him seen the soonest. I’ve gone to this clinic myself for years and I’m surprised at all the negative reviews posted; as all of the visits I’ve had there have shown knowledgeable professionalism by Drs and PAs and caring staff members- nurses, phlebotomists and front desk personnel.

Located in Taos, New Mexico, Shadow Mountain Recovery is a drug and alcohol rehab center. Situated on 37 mountainous acres, this serene environment is a beautiful place to focus on recovery. This center offers detox and residential treatment for men. They also accept those who have a dual diagnosis. Shadow Mountain runs a 28 day intensive program.
I had went to shadow mountain a few years back, and they have really helped me change my life for the better. I went in anxious and insecure, and everyone here (including Randal and Richard, and a lot more staff I can’t remember the name of) had lifted me up and supported me in ways I’ve never experienced in other facilities. Randal had helped me become more confident in myself while Richard had helped me understand my relationship with life and god deeper, and they gave me the opportunity to go forward to another sober living out in Huntington Beach, which has all lead to me coming up on 2 years sober this months, a finance I love, and a life that I feel like I’m thriving in. Shadow mountain was a fundamental part of my life changing from relentless drug abuse and hurting myself and others around me, to growth in myself and a life where I have value and purpose. I definitely recommend shadow mountain to anyone who is serious about overcoming their addiction and changing their life. Thank you all!!

Vista Taos was not just a calling for it was life pr death. I drove by VT many a time on the way to elk hunts up by the CO border. I would joke with my dad that I might have to go there. Well all jokes aside I found myself walking through that front door. I was greated by staff and treated like a human being from all the staff. I mean it is a rehab it's not summer camp. Everyday wasn't sunshine and rose's. The morning meditation down to the one on one with my counselor " straight to the point and no BS!" This was and I hope my only time going. I was there in the middle of covid and snow storms but the friendships and experience I will always remember. "Update" 4y 10m 21d sober and counting and still working the program. I highly recommend

When i first came to the facility i was in terrible shape, physically and mentally. I fought the treatment for weeks before i saw that i was actually getting better. I found my higher power in this place and my life has changed in dramatic ways. I have no urge whatsoever to return to my previous way of life and i must give the credit to Vista. I have been in rehab several times in Houston - from trashy to Bougie - and The Ranch at Dove Tree is by a Millenia Far and Above any other Recovery experience I’ve ever had!!! The Staff are impeccable - From the CEO to the guys keeping the grounds - are Experienced in Addiction/Alcoholism because most of them have been there! They care from a place of knowing and understanding. My counselor, Katrina, is an Exceptional and Dynamic force in my recovery foundation! Josh is my first TAC Group leader - and I don’t think anyone could have impacted me in this type of forum as has he with his leadership, background and compassion! The RA’s are more than kind, professional and courteous-they are real people who get it! I would Plead with any family member of mine to utilize The Ranch at Dove Tree 1st and foremost if ever they were needed!!! I am Extremely proud to call myself an Alumni of RDT! 06/2025 🙏🏻☮️♥️

After getting out of the Marine Corps, I settled in New Mexico and have used the VA facility for over 37 years now and let me say New Mexico truly has none of the finest medical facilities. Throughout the United States, New Mexico has my number one. Vote for the healthcare for all veterans, and I've only been to 2 others lomelinda, California, which is always busy and always slammed for the veterans, and then there's the one on oho street in Tucson Arizona, where I was sent to go by the VA from New Mexico. For special medical treatment that the VA back then do not offer here. But they found me a facility where I could go and get my medical treatment done. That's what I call looking out for a veteran during a tough situation.

It is a government beaurocracy. You must fit the system or the system will absolutely ignore you. Seek the help of the administrators and the intake nurses and carefully follow their directions otherwise you will suffer all kinds of frustrations. Be kind to the little folks. They will help you. The more senior folks are frustrated with the system as well and don't have that much time to assist you. So do yourself a favor and really pay attention to the junior people. Have your act together beforehand. Search the internet and know what you need and what the system can provide. That way unrealistic expectations do not frustrate them as well as you.

I went to Firesky Recovery a broken, beaten man. I was initially scared because my life was in complete disarray. Robin, Erin and their team welcomed me and reassured me that things can get better if you put in the effort. I spent 30 days in their inpatient program and came out a new man. I am now 7 months clean and sober and I owe it all to Firesky's excellent team of professionals. They know what you need to hear and learn because most of them have gone thru this in one way or another. Their staff is amazing! Knowledgeable, caring, compassionate and best of all, judgement-free. I really enjoyed the interactive group sessions and the one on one therapy sessions. There is a way back to living a productive, happy, joyous and free lifestyle and Firesky was able to give me all that, and most importantly, helped me regain my family. This treatment center has by far been the best center for my brother who has been an addict for over 40 years. The admin and staff support in housing, finance and counseling all help hold everyone accountable in a positive and encouraging way. And his main therapist and family interventional counselor Melissa Cosca has been the center of it all helping counsel and explain addiction to patients and families so that we can all understand, react, respond and approach everything differently in a way that works best for the addict and their families. Her advice has been phenomenal to help us all be successful moving forward as we deal with the daily struggles but also the daily successes. I greatly appreciate her counsel and know she is there for any and all questions indefinitely. Her support and the support group we all have as families and for my brother is what we needed to overcome this horrible disease. We are so blessed to have found it here at stages!

A very caring facility. The doctor, nurses, therapists are very caring and professional. I saw incredible improvements in all of the patients there irregardless of what each individual health needs were. It is a top notch facility and kept very clean as well. The social worker is very knowledgeable about things and is very helpful about making arrangements for appointments and anything else that's needed. The open door policy is very good with everyone there. I highly recommend this facility for whatever rehabilitation needed. Definitely a Five Star facility.

I can't say enough good things about my experience at this detox. From the moment I arrived, I felt safe, supported, and genuinely cared for. The staff went above and beyond—professional, compassionate, and always present when I needed anything, whether it was emotional support or just someone to talk to.
