I go here for chemical dependency therapy, and after years of battling addiction and being on the losing side of the battle, I am finally winning my battle. And a big part of that is to the phenomenal help I get from my therapist and MAT dr. At Evelyn Brandon. My therapist is such a sweetheart. I can call or email her anytime of any day and she'll respond as soon as she can and help me through whatever. They act as more than drug counselors, they're life counselors too.
Plus I have a once a week group zoom meeting that I attend through Evelyn Brandon as well that I've gained some real close bonds with other recovering addicts so that I know that I'm never alone in this life long battle against my demons.
I recommend this place to anyone who wants to get help with either their mental health &/or their drug&/or alcohol addictions.. trust me, life is so much better being free from substances. It feels great!

With this being said, I'm not here to tell you if it's bad or good rehab...I've had both experiences here. But one thing is for certain, this place was an integral part of my success in my own recovery. I owe them that at least. I do want to highlight one thing, more than anything, this was amazing for me and I know it can be for you. Some of the staff and security were amazing. Dustin the security guy was there for me literally since day one. There has been times where past counselors and medical staff have been very useless on what needed to be done, and no matter the situation was I always felt better thanks to Dustin. He took the time to tell me hello and ask how I'm doing or even just passing along shouts of encouragement. And that has been all I needed after such times where maybe the place couldn't help me. But he did. Tom as well. And if you don't think that's such a big deal, they are both a huge part of what is and will be keeping me on the right path. It was a blessing I can take with me forever.

I was assigned Arlene as a therapist March of 2022. Arlene and I have one on ones monthly. She always puts me first, helps with solve thru my problems I’m dealing with in early sobriety. Also provides me with resources and self help books to help me work on myself outside of therapy.
Also Laura is my peer advocate, she is always a phone call away, meets me at AA meetings and is a great friend along being a great support for me. Laura goes ABOVE and BEYOND her expectations. She truly cares for her clients & their journey with early sobriety. During active use, she made sure I made it to detox and I was in a safe place. She is a great example of what a sober woman is. Set a great example for new patients
I truly wouldn’t be where I am at if it wasn’t for Laura & Arlene ❤️😍

There were classes offered that helped combat the depression and boredom. The rooms and Bathrooms were clean. Anything that was needed the staff was sure to accommodate. I was able to connect with my counselor, whenever I need to. The only thing I would say was an issue was the separation between men and women. You are allowed to speak to the opposite sex at all not even a friendly hello. The women are escorted everywhere and housed in a separate area meanwhile the men could walk all over all day. One day I started doing my own calisthenics trying to exercise when I was told I had to stop because it was against rules for safety reasons. There was a schedule listed Every Morning with the going- ons of the day. Over all it was an enjoyable stay once I got past the initial Rude meeting of the director.

I am a veteran with PTSD and mdd . I was hesitant to go to a facility for treatment. First of all the level of care was unsurpassed in my experience. Very personal and professional. The facility doesn't treat you as another number . That was huge for me. They spend time giving you the tools and therapy needed for you and your particular needs. Dr. Pete (Jesus sandals) was a wonderful Dr for me and had a very personable manner about him. Very easy to speak with and open . We had a great experience with the school. Staff seemed to genuinely care and were supportive straight through. Staff worked with my child and some went way out of their way to make sure he was successful. Offered great support for parents. There was a high turnover rate in some positions, and that was hard at times, but my experience was that once the new staff was brought up to date, we didn't have any issues. We did not have any issues continuing with supports outside the school.

I would highly recommend to anyone that is struggling with a mental illness or addiction. The Villa of Hope saved my life.

Thanks to everyone here I have been able to get my life back on track after a crippling dance with opiates that lasted over a decade. On top of all that, I continue sessions to ensure that I am walking the best path I can - the weekly meetings, the degree of care during personal emergencies, and the actual reflection of the progress that I have made are all things that have helped me improve my life. I am a more whole person thanks to Delphi Rise. Healing one's self is never a straight path, but at least it doesn't have to be solitary or terribly crooked - Delphi kind of stands as an illuminating light in a terribly dark world. Keep it up, guys.

Delphi Rise is not just another outpatient rehab. This organization provides a wide range of programs that can only be summed up as true "Human Services." Yes, they will help you if you are struggling with addiction; they do that 24 hours a day, 365 days a year through their Open Access program. They also help people who are homeless get into safe, permanent housing. They will help you if you are even at risk of homelessness. They help people returning from prison to secure safe, permanent housing. They have a Health Home System. They offer assistance obtaining and keeping a job or help you apply for disability and get a specialized attorney to represent you for the case. They provide food, clothing, personal items, even mobile phones to those in need. Nobody is turned away for any reason pertaining to race, sex, religion, nationality, age, or criminal history of any classification or subtype. 2 years ago when I needed help with everything a person could need help with, they gave me a safe and dignified living space in less than 3 weeks of asking for help despite my many social barriers. They gave me treatment for addiction that began immediately and they still support my recovery today. They've given me clothing, bedding, personal supplies and toiletries, a phone with prepaid service, transportation to and from their office when I needed it. They have supported me in every area of need in my life for the last 2 years and continue to do so now and in the foreseeable future. Every time I go to Delphi Rise I am greeted not only with courtesy, respect, and dignity, but with down-to-earth kindfulness and warmth. Someone from Delphi visits me at my home once a month to make sure everything is going well and that I have what I need. These other reviews giving 1 star and complaining about personal treatment absolutely blow my mind, and they are not to be believed. To everyone at Delphi - Darnell, Monique, Alex, Rob, Mike, Tasha, Tashaba, Martin, Dr. Ainsworth, Krystal, and Jill - thank you for what you do every day to help the less fortunate, the outcast, the homeless, the unwanted - thank you for helping people like me. May God bless and sustain you in your mission and in your lives!

Rochester, NY | Pathways of Rochester, New York, is a substance abuse treatment program operated by Catholic Health. While principles of Catholic faith drive their mission, they are not strictly a faith based program. Pathways outpatient services include medication assisted treatment to help clients manage withdrawal symptoms. You’ll find them near Monroe Comm | Treatments Programs Payment Options | Yes I really appreciate what The Pathways Methodone clinic has saved my life . I am 66 years old and I have been to 2 Rochester Clinics in my life , The first one was Strong ,which I feel was a money grab .If you go to one in the surrounding area of Rochester N.Y. go get on the list to Pathways, it has been the best one for me . My Counselor Roberta Sparkman is very good at her job ,she sure helped me get back on my feet and I go Bi weekly . I nearly died two times maybe more in my life but thanks to Narcan I am on the straight and narrow. The thing is don't lie to your counselor bc they are not stupid , they will find out about your history,I know Roberta had her work out on me. , she is I Believe ( the best counselor there ) or I should say the Best Woman to finally straighten me out , with the help of The good Lord and myself staying straight and Fentanyl free . It used to be Heroin but so many people are dying from this epidemic. So I know this is long but bear with me . You Folks who think having a Methadone clinic in your neighborhood is such a bad thing , think again, it saves lives bc your young children are peer pressured to Drinking and Drug partaking, it starts out my kids don't do drugs and they come home with pinned eyeballs and acting tired or sleeping all the time . Than they get addicted and you don't know what to do . Than you get a call in the middle of the morning from the morgue to identify your child bc they bought a bunch of dope and the dealer told him or her ,just do a little, you will be okay . Heroin folks is not pure heroin the cartels are lacing it with a lot of dangerous fentanyl and even a little bit on your finger nail is too much ,than you sniff it and within minutes, maybe less you feel pretty good, than you start feeling dizzy and if you are alone or you don't have Narcan you die , bc you are so High your brain tells your body not to Breath , so you basically are dead . Just think of that the next time you wish or vote out a methadone clinic . It's more than going there and getting your dose . They teach you ,they know your name bc they really care about you . Pathways is my Blessing and so is God and the Son of God . Look up on you tube how many people die from fentanyl it is staggering and fentanyl is cheap to make plus there is another Beaut in there it is a animal tranquilizer , I believe it's called Tranx , this stuff should not even be touched by the human hand ,cops have died from this and they most wear gloves . Anyway the nursing staff is excellent at Pathways . It covers a lot from mental health problems and a ton of other stuff . I have been in many car accidents so I'm just glad I was giving another chance,Thank you Pathways,Roberta and the wonderful Nursing Staff . Pathways is the Best and I'm a Baby Boomer. I got addicted to everything, there is hope

I've been to clinics in Illinois, South Carolina, and in my home of GA. The longest I've gone to a clinic was almost 11 years. I left for a year and went back to one in ga. I informed them I was going to be traveling alot they said it would be okay no biggie. Not true. I barely made it to 70mg, I barely got clean. When I got to pathways I was supposed to be here for, at the most 2 months. The least 4 weeks. My clinic wanted them to drop me to 60mg & drug test me before they'd dose me.. Christina didn't understand this logic. If I would've failed a drug test then its not like they would've turned me away. And she agreed with me that 70mg is low especially 60mg. I was on 130mg for YEARS. I'm still having withdrawal symptoms after 5pm everyday. But I've increased to 75 hoping to go up again soon. .. This place is different but in a good way . I'm used to being treated like the medicine (in my opinion) that I take to live is something to be looked down upon & heavily mandated. I'm used to the clinics making you empty your pockets for a drug test. Can't be on your phone in the waiting area at some places bc they want to know if you're going to nod out. Peek and troths make you sit for 1-3 hours no phone. Nothing. And it's early in the morning...you think you wouldn't be tired no matter what? Pathways is honestly the only place I've ever been to that seems to care about you and not the money. The first day there the counselors remembered my name. I didn't have to correct them on important aspects of my life they asked about, I've had counselors that after a year or more of seeing me 2x a month couldn't remember if I had kids. I understand most of the clinics I've gone to are big. But damn.. the smaller one, the counselor I had, I had never had a counselor put me into an actual anxiety attack . Her non chalant attitude and voice and the first time speaking with her she insisted I didn't tell a certain person if I had issues with her, my counselor, bc she was mean & If I told this other person she'd defend her..the person she said not to tell was a very good person, I told her, "what? She isn't mean I love her " like what? But at P pathways even the security guard is cool as hell!

I've never had any issues here. My counselor is great and understanding! She provides a great and helpful group! As long as you are respectful and follow the rules, you really shouldn't have any problems at this program. . I've been here for almost 3 years and have had sustained abstinence the whole time! So grateful for this place for helping me save myself!

Seen Nadie and it was the best experience I have ever had with a therapist i was having major anxiety about leaving the house this day and she made me feel calm and she actually listened thats all I wanted was to be heard and cared for and Nadie made that happen for me I want to thank her so much for that. I switched to rochester regional after having a very bad traumatic experience with a therapist at strong mental health so it was really hard for me to even seek out therapy after being treated so badly at the other place. Nadie made a difference for me though.

Rochester, NY | Rochester Clinton Crossing VA Clinic, formerly known as Canandaigua VA Mount Hope - Satellite Location, offers treatment for substance use disorder and co-occurring mental health disorders for veterans and is located in Rochester, New York. Conditions treated include anxiety, trauma, depression, PTSD, OCD, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia. This | Treatments Programs Payment Options | What an outstanding facility. Every staff member is courteous, polite, and exceptionally helpful. They go out of their way to answer any and all questions a veteran may have and provide clear direction. Community Care has also been fantastic.
When I requested to see a dermatologist around May, the on-site dermatologist was booked until October. They promptly offered and scheduled me with a civilian dermatologist, even though it was some distance away. Fortunately, this facility added a dermatologist to their staff and contacted me to offer an earlier appointment. They booked me for July to see the staff dermatologist.
Dr. Ward and his team are phenomenal and extremely responsive. You can message them with any questions and receive prompt replies, or reach them by phone. You can also contact Community Care directly, and they will work with your doctor to coordinate care outside the facility when needed.
You just have to ask and be your own advocate, because only you know what services you need and how pressing your treatment is.
Regarding dental care, I have had severe issues involving tooth loss due to bayonet training at the School of Infantry at Camp Pendleton decades ago with significant structural damage that required several bone grafts. It has been a drawn-out process spanning nearly two and a half years, largely due to prior administration decisions that redirected VA funding. However, once DOGE initiatives were implemented in the VA systems, as a matter of FACT the very next day after DOGE was widely reported to enter VA systems to weed out the “financial redistribution of funds” I no longer received the response of “it’s a finance committee decision.” They scheduled me right away. From that point forward, Dr. Dawly (who fought hard on my behalf to receive the services I was rightly owed, but was given the run-around by the $ starved VA bureaucracy at that time) promptly scheduled me and referred me to staff oral surgeon Dr. Lee and her very personable, friendly and dedicated technician, Michelle.
Dr. Lee with the assistance of her Tech Michelle, have skillfully performed numerous procedures including removing an entire nerve from the entire roof of my mouth, with a few more scheduled before I receive my prosthetic tooth. The receptionist who sits at the front desk, Michelle is also incredibly kind and efficient. Donna the dental hygienist is also so personable and takes her time doing the cleanings never a rush job.
In essence I truly cannot put into words how wonderful all the staff are. Including administrative staff who are also so respectful, polite and very helpful but also the facility vibe is just very homely not industrial. A very quiet, efficient and friendly medical facility. Their pharmacy is also equally efficient in filling prescriptions while you wait.
I truly feel at home here, unlike at a typical medical facility. As a Top 10% (according to Google) Google Maps Contributor, I highly recommend this VA facility for the excellent care and support provided to veterans.
Update: I forgot to mention, the parking is ample and there are lots of handicap spots all around the facility.
