Some of us needing care are arguably at our worse, some days they may have an emergency or 2 show up that need immediate care and can slow daily operations down. I've received callbacks the same day, if not within 24 hours. Most of my appointments are on time or a little early and have very rarely run late. My therapist Chelsea is hands down the best in the industry. I've been in therapy for over 30 years and never made the personal growth I have experienced with my team at Bayshore. They. Im more then an hour away and would drive here to get help! Any of the nurses or doctors reading this i hold the reward of the fastest turn around lol! I think I got there about 1130am by 345pm i was free. Again to the staff on shift yall were amazing! I feel guilty for not catching my nurses name but im pretty sure her nick name was smiley ! From the start of talking to you i knew I had a chance to plead my case and know I wasn't being looked down on or called a liar. If they only knew what kind of places they had back then for people like us I think they would change their mind. I think the staff is wonderful both my kids have been there. They both made it through and thought it was an experience that they had to go through, but they’ve learned through it and grew through it. I’ve been there you get to choose what you wanna eat for dinner lunch and breakfast there’s always coffee and juice and snacks like people expect What is a hospital? You’re there to get better not to socialize not to smoke in the bathroom not to play on your phone. You’re there to get your head on straight and that’s what they do. The doctors and nurses and staff in this institution are The most genuine people I have went to for mental health help.I was scared to be there, But they helped me understand that it was OK to be there and get the help I needed.
