| The Ridge in Milford, Ohio, is a luxury rehabilitation center that provides alcohol and drug addiction recovery services. The facility is on a private estate with 51 acres where residents are housed in two renovated mansions. The residences have a capacity of 27 beds. The organization has received The Joint Commission’s gold seal of approval for | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I truly loved this place. During my time here, I struggled a lot the first couple weeks, and that was intentional on the programs part. It’s not supposed to be easy and you can adjust to the difficult aspects by truly letting go of wanting to control and accepting why you came to get help. I grew more here in a month than I ever could have in the real world.
I loved the staff, the doctors, the clinicians, the nurses, and my housemates. I never thought I’d say this but I actually miss being here! The forced structure was comforting and having small responsibilities daily helped me stay accountable. I miss making my bed after breakfast and tending to my little plant. I miss racing to the kitchen after group before 9 am hit so I could have one last cup of coffee. I miss that. I miss making things special as opposed to just having carte Blanche to drink caffeine whenever I want now, it takes the meaning out of the actions we choose when we live with no rules or structure.
The content of learning was helpful, and yes at times repetitious, but that’s how we change. Changing isn’t learning something then doing it perfect the next day. It is tedious amounts of reps and time that add up to meaningful change, it’s not glamorous like the world makes change seem. This program is HARD. And that’s what I wanted. I wanted challenge, I wanted growth, and I was sick and tired of being tired. This time in my life I decided I wasn’t the expert on how to do things considering how badly things were going. Please know that if it’s hard or you think it should be your way, it’s okay to let go and let them be the experts in their field. I am forever changed from this place, and I hope you will be too. And I am better for it because of this place, the friendships and love from staff alike.❤️

I had a loved one attend here for substance abuse. They were using for more than a year but as of now they're over 6 months sober, happy to be alive and found a really good community that accepts all walks of life. | Eastway Corporation is a behavioral health and addiction treatment center in Dayton, Ohio. They operate about 24 behavioral health facilities across the state and help individuals address challenges like mental health, substance use and co-occurring disorders. The latter is when you’re simultaneously dealing with addiction and mental health issue | Treatments Programs Payment Options | If it wasn't for Eastway I would have been dead by now. I've been with them for 15 years. But their housing program is okay. I also like the fact that there's a pharmacy right there inside. I've been using Eastway's Pharmacy since they opened up. I definitely like that your meds can be delivered to your front door IF you have No Way of getting to the Eastway building. IF you have (a) prescription(s) that needs to be filled the same day you go in for an appointment with a Doctor they will have it filled by the time you're done with your appointment. I will Always recommend Eastway to someone that needs mental health and proper medications. I like the staff that works there. Everyone is very nice to you and they usually have a smile on their face. I try to get a laugh out of one of them and it usually works. As long as Eastway has their doors open I will continue to go there. The staff is wonderful. I'm glad that I have a case manager for longer than two years. My case manager now (and has been for 4 solid years.) She goes above and beyond the call of duty. (She's been there for about 20 years). She helps me go grocery shopping and soon to do laundry up the road. I Pray everyday that I don't lose the case manager I have now. I have pleasant feelings for Eastway. IF you get the chance to be a client at Eastway, remember that getting the right medication can take some time. It took them close to 13 years of trying different medications to get the right regimen that works for ME. I also like the fact that there's a Bus Stop right out front of the building. 😎🤗🤓💜✌️🤙👌💟☮️. I hope you can enjoy the care and staff there. Everyone there is a happy, pleasant person. I LOVE EASTWAY!!! The ONLY way I'll go somewhere else is IF they close their doors. My mother told me about Eastway and when I started the "Journey" there I had a sense of good things to come my way. The rollercoaster of emotions that I was going through finally ended when I became a client at Eastway. At first I didn't like it there because of TWO case managers they Always had a funky attitude towards me and dismissed the fact that I'm there for Mental Health. I'm getting treatment for my Bipolar Disorder. Looking back I'm Glad that I got help from them. IF I didn't make the first appointment to go there, I HIGHLY DOUBT I would be alive right now making this post. Eastway is the one facility that I recommend EVERYONE to go to for Mental Health. In my opinion and experience, Eastway is the place to go get help. Thank you Eastway for your help and this "journey" I'm on with y'all.

5 stars simply because they don’t force group therapy on you during inpatient stays. Many places will use your participation in group therapy to gauge whether or not you’re ready for release and hold it against you if you don’t attend. I went to one group in the 5 days I was there because it was too triggering for me. But they mostly left me alone and let me crash out and cry in my room in peace. Checked on me every 15 minutes and kept me sedated enough to where it wasn’t completely unbearable. I only ate twice when I was there, but the food was actually good quality. If you can afford it, go here.

I have been seen at the Middletown Clinic for over a year. I suffer from chronic back pain that has now spread to my neck. When I reached out to my PCM via My HealthVet I always chat with the nurse of Dr. Likki. I’ve only seen Dr. Likki once which was for 3 minutes. I wrote a complaint about not seeing my PCM and wanting to know what’s causing the pain in my neck after asking to speak with her about my results and further treatment only to have the nurse tell me she would forward my concerns to Dr Likki. Well I finally received a call from Dr Likki only for her to over talk my concerns and not hear what my issues were. The call was very unpleasant, unprofessional and mostly unproductive to my concerns. X-rays were ordered for my back but nothing was done for my neck and I tried to asked what’s causing the unbearable discomfort only to be over talked and not heard. She ordered physical therapy which I’ve had several times but what’s causing the pain. I’ve had great relationships with all my VA doctors up until now. Very need I’ve had the nurse has addressed my needs to that’s not the issue. The issues is the pain in my neck, no doctor to patient relationship, unprofessional call because I voiced my concerns through the VA Survey. I served for 20 years and I’m greatful for the treatment i received but as a Vet of the VA and a patient I should be able to speak with my doctor as I have done multiple times before without being called and talked over with an unprofessional attitude.

The psychiatrist we found is a gem, who shares her professional advice after listening to our experiences and concerns. Dr. Kaitlyn Pollack is professional, understanding and friendly.
However, finding a therapist that you trust and respect is a process, because you likely will have to try a few before finding the right person to help you. We went through six therapists in six months at the Xenia location, because they shuffled us from one to another regardless of the fact that my daughter was there for help with *separation anxiety*.

I've been a client on and off for multiple years for Substance Use Disorder and Major Depressive Disorder. I've always been pleased with the care I receive. I've participated in their IOP, PHP, After-care, individual therapy, and psychiatric programs. I've received medical help including the Vivitrol shot.
