The people here are very nice and really care about you.
I felt compelled to write this review because of the wonderful care my 88 years old father has received. The respect, kindness and concern displayed by every one of the Doctors, nurses and personnel we have encountered is absolutely amazing. While they are too numerous to mention, I particularly wanted to give special gratitude to our home care nurse, Vinnie…my father just adores her and she is amazing. I also wanted to express my appreciation to Lorett, who tended to my father’s wounds yesterday. Lorett was incredible and so kind. Likewise were the doctor, Rachel and the staff in the emergency area.
In closing, I want to state that this VA hospital and all associated medical providers and staff should be recognized for its/their high degree of standard, but more importantly for the compassion and respect displayed to our Veterans. Thank you and happy holidays.

Today I helped a Vietnam era veteran. Remember as a veteran sometimes we struggle. When you see a service person in need of help, do what the Lord installed in your heart love of one another.
The gentleman was in need. I would encourage anyone whether you're a veteran or not. Help the elderly.
My suggestion would be to take an index card and put the person's first name only, last four if you're a veteran and POC. Place this in a plastic bag and safety pin it to the person in some form or fashion.
This would eliminate hours of wasted time helping people to connect with loved ones.
Let them know the Lord brought you to them out of love because he first loved us.
One other advice if you're helping someone and you have to walk away give them something of yours to assure them you will return. A small act of kindness goes a long way.
The Lord sees all and never forgets. Lose the attitude of someone not being your race. When you served you should NEVER see race. Remember that.

The Ranch truly saved my life. I came in due to a significantly unfortunate self-created event in my life that I was suffering deeply from and this place helped me pick up the pieces. The therapists, BHTs, and other staff members held me accountable the entire time, but showed me grace throughout. The skills I learned will stay with me long past this incident. I felt like the Ranch provided a safe, healthy, and highly informative place to heal and grow. If you or a loved one is in crisis, I recommend looking into the Ranch. I will forever be grateful I had the opportunity to be there.

As a service-connected disabled veteran that has been in the VA system 1994, I love being able to receive my primary care closer to home. For years I went to the Lebanon VAMC for ALL my healthcare needs and the drive alone made it inconvenient. Let alone the constant construction and parking lot mess. The care at Lebanon VAMC is wonderful but the facility is big and busy so the much closer Lancaster VA at Willow Street is a godsend for me. The front desk, lab, nurses and my PCP are incredible. Very clean office, very quiet peaceful office and generally there is plenty of nearby parking, unlike Lebanon VAMC.
Pyramid was very helpful from the start my counselor Jamie Groff was great very compassionate and knowledgeable he made it a great process for me and I learned some new tools from him to maintain my sobriety

The staff of the Pyramid facility make the recovery process a journey of possibilities and opportunities. The counselor I had the opportunity to work with showed me a type of respect I haven't seen at any other facility. I am grateful for this on a daily basis. Just the small favor of offering a cup of coffee to clients in the morning makes the trip a great way to start the day. The security guards are even a part of the family and friends environment, taking the time to get to know the clients who use the waiting room daily. I am actually a bit bummed, when the administrator at the front window, has taken the day off because, she too, brightens my day and has had me laughing at her silly jokes and birthday songs throughout the past year.

I’d like to start by saying PYRAMID HAS BEEN THE MOST HELP since the beginning. I’ve had my rounds in recovery but this is the place that stuck with. I regained my confidence to be strong and have the power to control myself again. We all fall short at times, but if you want to get up and stay up, this is the place you should check out.

If your reading the reviews for this facility because your planning on getting help or even contemplating getting clean. Let me tell you....DO IT! It saved my life and many of my friends as well. I was scared at first obviously because i didn't want to be sick from the withdrawal. This facility actually does care about your safety and sobriety, your not just a number here. Youll be listened too and treated like a human being unlike a lot of places where your just an addict. Even if your not ready and just have questions, give them a ring....it could actually really change your life. The transition from the street drugs to the methadone was quite painless and I finally got relief. No more going days without and being sick, no more being sick at work, no more being sick around the kids, no more excuses! Long story short I can gladly say that I've been clean for so many years now and I owe it all too pyramid and the staff. I know it sounds silly but making that change and that choice was so scary and hard for me but when I found out how easy it was and how painless it was I felt so silly. You can do it. Make the call, you deserve it!

Very impressed and surprised because there are some bad reviews when every team member I meet was extremely caring and understanding of everyone's personal situations. They really care about you getting better and will help give you the tools and motivation to get there. I started in the intensive outpatient program which was important to my recovery in that it gave me a regular schedule and it felt good to get in that rhythm and everyone I meet in that class was respectful to each other we learned and had a good time. I recently moved out onto the regular outpatient and continue to meet new people who all share the same difficulties in life and openly share their stories and perspectives to identify our triggers and in my case: bad life traps and bad coping styles that lead to my addiction. We also are taught how to avoid the pit falls of addiction the through healthy coping mechanisms. They also started a new incentive program that awards healthy recovery based activities. Because of this program and the programs they provided me with outside of Guardenzia I was able to change my mindset and come to a place where I can finally admit to myself of my past addiction and admit to myself I cannot ever drink again and I'm grateful to them for getting me to this place where I can finally accept that.
This place actually wants to help people do good with their lives. They actually care about the people and everyone there is really nice.. They actually listen to you and make you comfortable as possible and they try to help set a goal plan for your life. They will help get you through on what you need to do.. And they dont judge you at all. I definitely recommend this place for anyone that needs help with addiction and also help you set goals for your future.

Amazing!!! Helpful and caring!!! There’s nothing bad here nothing!! I can’t tell you how wonderful it is and refreshing!!! I have been on methadone 4 years and had to relocate back to central Pa and when I made arrangements with my old clinic at ARS, they tried to literally kill me!!! When I moved my entire life and had it all switched so I thought until!!! I get there and then they say oh your insurance is for another county do until you switch it we cannot help you!!! And left me sitting in the room alone!! Just not even care or bothering with me!!! They make ppl want to relapse why bother when you don’t care this much but I rememenrr beinf told Mechanicsburg ctc does same day so w only 32 mins left I rushed over to here and the world of diff of care, wanting to help!!! Willing to work with you as anyone knows even if you have no insurance the state of pa will pay up to 90 days back bills so they got all my paperwork and my dosing
That day and let me dose and set me up!!! I cannot tell you how as I say defeated in the other clinic defeated crying hysterically I saw my entire sobriety flash and about to be gone before my eyes!! I went from homeless, destitute, a person no one saw as worthy to a career in retail management, built myself to a respectable person agian that also helps others in recovery with at least that first step and now use my career to help give a job to those otherowise others look over!!
So thank you sooooo much Mechanicsburg CTC because of you!!! You helped this one persons world stay so much brighter!!! Thank you!!! If you need help in anyway please do yourself the biggest favor and just start here!!!

I go here and I have to say they are awesome! They stay on top of everything which I like. I have the best counselor there and she has really helped me in the last two years. People need to understand something about vet hospitals. As a veteran myself I have come to not only learn but also experienced that people go to the hospital for the smallest issues which could have been cared for at home. On top of that military doctors aren’t the best so I usually take the time to seek civilian doctors. Save the negative comments because more the half the time people usually don’t go by them. Great nurses and doctors. They listen to my concerns and address them. If they can’t get you in within a month then you gave the opportunity to get the care out in the community from a list of approved places. This location is outstanding vs what it used to be before it was remodeled. The expansion and remodeling took outstanding!!

Bold Steps BH has been absolutely wonderful since my husband left another inpatient rehab. They left us tour and meet everyone. Explained what a ‘normal’ every day would look like. They don’t sugar coat anything and if you come there- they do NOT treat you like a prisoner and hold you accountable- per my husband who is the patient.
The experience from Bold Steps vs the last place is night & day different.
Thank you Bold Steps for taking such good care of my husband and holding him accountable and teaching him new healthier habits!

Bold Steps is the bees knees. Everyone is very knowledgeable and friendly ESPECIALLY TIA AND BRI. They are so friendly and make everyone feel welcomed. And the treatment center is 100% judgment free. Would absolutely recommend to anyone struggling with substance abuse or mental health!!

Recently moved to the area and my very first visit was exceptional, from the clerk, nurses, and doctors I felt appreciated and respected. Had an appointment to get my hearing aids, went in, they called for me, went back and the doc was great. She went over everything and made sure I understood what she was talking about. Very very pleased.
Top-notch facility I don’t think that there’s a better place you could go for treatment. The staff is amazing they always go above and beyond and make sure you get everything you need to be successful when you leave special shout out too Paige, number one employee most definitely deserves a raise!

Completing inpatient on the hill was a great experience. However, being at the outpatient building has been the best experience for me this far in my recovery.The staff is welcoming, understanding, and professional at all times. I have been attending regular groups since September, 2021. My groups consisted of ways to cope with my Mental Health and Addiction struggles.
The outpatient Supervisior, Erin L. assisted me in helping a family member into treatment. Her compassion to help others Is top priority. Her leadership with staff and clients are among the best. She is an authentic version of Servant Leadership.
The staff is organized and professional at all times. The therapists care Care for their clients. Every time I have interacted with the staff has been pleasant. They are easy to talk to about anything. They will assist you with anything you need. From the front desk to transportation they all should be recognized for their dedication.

I didn't know what to expect coming here as it was my first time at a rehab, and I was pleasantly suprised within hours of checking in. The staff are an incredible group of people; they really do care about you and your recovery. More than once I had techs, nurses and counselors go out of their way to help me and my peers out. There is always someone to talk to for help; I was never turned away when I really needed something. The food is good (shoutout to Lonnie), you will always have clean laundry and linens and a bed to sleep in. If you need help with legal or insurance this place will work with you to get you squared away. Make no mistake, you will have expectations here and be held accountable. But if you are serious about getting better and willing to put in the work I don't think you'll find many places better than White Deer Run. I look forward to returning as a guest speaker in the future!
The recent leadership change at Vantage house has made a widely positive impact on this program straight across the board from stronger clinical care to the warmth from the moment that you enter.

My daughter’s therapy got discharged. I spoke with Michelle and Katelin and they got it squared away when it wasn’t supposed to be a discharge and got her right back in with her therapist. Michelle is also so friendly and helpful. I had my 18m old with me and she accommodated to his needs so he would sit still during a session. Thank you so much for all that you both do in this office!!

Hi my two grandsons go to Penessa and see Steven,he is amazing with the boy's and he his helping them so much with their issues. The receptionist Michelle is so nice and always is very welcoming. I myself see Kaitlyn on Mondays and she helps me a lot, such a wonderful person and therapist.

This program saved my life. The staff here is amazing especially the counselors. I highly recommend it. Most inpatient recovery places are strictly after 1 thing but not here. They actually care about everybody that comes through the door. They also allow you to work to get established for your next destination. What more can anybody ask for.

I came through here 2 times and am almost 3 yrs clean. I've had my ups and downs, multiple rehabs, multiple rehab relationships, etc. This was a male only rehab and that's what I needed. I could complain about some things but the goal was to stay clean and I didn't wanna die from an overdose. My counselor was Casey and she was what I needed in a counselor and she lived everything she says. Amazing counselor. Also night staff Brad and Gino. Brad always talked to me and believed in me and he's everything I wanna be In a man and in my recovery. He is the definition of what a man is. Gino is just a thorough dude. Also the nurse Pam and I had an amazing relationship, we spent hours talking and she helped me so much. I want to thank Conewago Place for bringing my soul back.
