Best experience I had in my road to recovery! Every member of the staff truly cared for my comfort and looked for way to solve my issues. The campus is really beautiful and felt like an hotel. I didn't believe I could afford this place but after talking with my insurance I found out I was covered.

I was a broken, sad, hopeless shell of a person who didn’t want to live any longer. Through counseling, empathy, respect and understanding, Ashley has helped me to become the person God intended me to be...and so much more! I now want to live life to the fullest and treat each day as a beautiful gift. I am now almost 6 years sober with the tools Ashley gave me to overcome obstacles that could lead to a relapse. I came to maryland recovery after completing a stay at another rehab i was here back in 2022 during the time i was here my father was dieing of cancer and they allowed me to leave more then once to go see him in the hospital and then in hospice the director of the program chris and the clinical staff along with my counselor really showed empathy and support and was there for me during this difficult time in my life my father ended up passing away the day I left MRP ill have 3 years sobriety on October 27th Maryland recovery really built a strong foundation for me and early recovery i would highly recommend this program to all

you have to to know what you’re getting into in order to get the most out of this program. It’s long, but I knew that going in and it was something I was personally ready for after years of struggling with addiction. Obviously it’s not going to be fun lol, but this program had a huge impact on my recovery and I will always be greatful. Also all the TAs rock!

Residence sucked and a lot of the rules and regulations were pretty stupid and petty. Group punishment was a big thing and that didn't really help simulate the "real world". But overall the experience even with the rules held me accountable and kept me sober long enough that I actually wanted to stay sober. Also the emphasis on growing a network really helped.

This place saved my life! From the time I walked through the door just three days after my suicide attempt I felt SAFE and with folks who understood what was going on. Once home I realized that I wasn’t 100%. After three weeks home I returned on my own. Today I can proudly say that I have helped several others enjoy the life after The Hog! I am still in contact with many of the staff members who I call family. Don’t ever feel like getting help is a weakness. The HoG is awesome!

The Harbor of Grace helped me gain valuable tools to help with my depression and SI. The staff taught me that it is OK to not be ok and that it is more than acceptable to ask for help in a time of crisis. I would recommend that any first responder going through a difficult time with eother substance abuse or mental health issues to buy in to your own treatment and allow Harbor of Grace to assist you in that treatment.

I have been with Port Recovery for about a year and a half now. I've had sessions with Alana, Elaine, Courtney, Joanne, and Carol. I also had M-F 9am group sessions as well when I was on probation. I like the place enough that I've decided to stay with them after probation to keep seeing Ms. Cook as my psychiatric nurse practitioner. The welcoming environment is exactly what I need, and most likely you too. I was referred to Port Recovery from my Probation Officer. I got into trouble by wrecking my car into a ditch while sleep driving on Ambien. I couldn't remember a thing, only waking up in the hospital. So, I stopped taking extra Ambien even if I can't fall asleep back in February 2020. Now, I'm getting help at Port Recovery with my severe anxiety, depression, and PTSD issues. Best place I've been to for those issues, and being able to see all the professionals I need under one roof is perfectly convenient. Everyone is on the same page! Good luck to everyone else!!! I have been on methadone maintenance for a long time over 15 years. Most of my experience was with BD Health in baltimore. Once I changed to medmark my eyes were open to a whole new way of treatment. Before when I was at BD I felt like I was just a gas and go paycheck. I never got counseling. The treatment plans were just bullshitted. Here at medmark my counselor Mary is extremely helpful. Over the course of the time that I've been there she has realized what works best with us when we do our counseling sessions. She realizes that I do not have too many outlets so she lets me open the floodgates and for my heart out to her and it's always judgment free. I can tell that she is on my side 100%. Also the front staff Miss Cindy is absolutely amazing. She is completely professional extremely helpful to answer any questions. I also want to compliment the nursing staff. They have always been extremely polite and extremely professional. I'm extremely grateful to be getting my treatment at medmark. Thank you

If you’re looking for a recovery house to give you a great foundation for long-term recovery Homecoming projects is the house for you. I went to The Homecoming project right after turning 23. It was my first sober living home out of a 30 day program. I have been able to sustain almost 7 years of sobriety. Homecoming not only provided me a strong foundation for my recovery but continues to go far beyond supporting me after the house to be the best version of myself and the mother to my son who is now almost 9 years old. This review is for the BD HEALTH LOCATED AT 6706 Holabird Ave. That's the one I pulled up to review but I noticed it's coming up under the wrong location...I really like everyone here they've always been so nice and supportive! Natasha who does the testing here is extremely caring kind and just genuinely likes helping others. She's collected clothes shoes and more for those in need. She's always getting things together for the homeless. She started doing group again in the mornings I think on Wednesday or Thursday. She's just an all around great person period!

My counselor Mrs. Yolanda is amazing!!! I have never in my life had a counselor truly care about my well being . You really saved me from a lot of pain I appreciate you always being up front and real . I can't imagine the lives you touch and how many others you help. You have Mrs. Rhonda another amazing women who was my counselor before. And Jess the nurse is the sweetest she can always make you smile . Gabby that pretty face you see when you walk in such a doll I love talking with her.. Not only do all these women do there jobs they make the time you are there comfortable and they actually treat you like a human being not a junkie . I have seen people dissing the Dr I don't know why she does her job . She's not rude she just does her job so I don't see why people are making bad comments about her.. I was upset the other day and regret making the review that I had that isn't how I truly feel I was just taking my anger out and that's not like me I believe in the if you have nothing nice to say don't say anything at all .. I apologize for my recent post I was just upset over the situation and instead of being the adult I am I was a child for a moment.
