My son has benefitted greatly by attending Key Point. All of the staff that I met were caring, professional and did an outstanding job working with the patients. They do follow ups to ensure the patients are adhering to rules and regulations. I greatly appreciate the time and effort Key Point put forth helping my son live a normal and independent life.

07/12/24 I almost died from Pancreatitis from my drinking. It’s a scary thing checking yourself in to a place like that. I was welcomed with open arms. The first person to sit down and talk to me one on one, pick my brain if you will before I started classes was Mr. Bill from RSS and Big Dan one of the instructors there. And Miss Holly big shout out to her for helping me get my meal plan back together I was a bodybuilder. Big Dan always talked with intensity and passion as a former addict. I had a recent bender and the first thing that happened when I walked in I shook Mr. Bills hand said long time no see, no judgement he said you hungry and fed me. Next day saw Big Dan with guilt I said I’m sorry I’m back but I’m happy to see you. We got talking a bit I sat down in the very first class I had with him and it was so raw and real, vulnerable even about his experiences. I hope this review does good for people looking for help. And I help they all see this knowing how much good they truly give to people and help they give to the world. From the last time I was there the amount my life changed has been leaps and bounds for the best. I recognized I made an error I immediately sought help. Got it immediately and can’t wait to never go back, but also to see how much farther I’ll go and achieve after this experience for the better.

Just finished a twenty eight day program this week. Ashley, the staff, PSAs (especially Gavin) helped me to finally grasp the severity of my disease and my spiritual condition. They took personal interest in me and helped stop me from leaving despite me being a little “difficult” 😆 I will always be grateful for Ashley, for giving me the ability to even say the word grateful, which is a miracle in itself.

I am so very grateful for Maryland recovery n the amazing clinical staff Alex,Kim,Doug, Brittany, Crystal, April,Laura, Carrie, Jessica and Stephanie. They not just did their jobs to the highest standard as well as showed me dignity and respect while doing it. The PSA's Matt, Hayden ,Big Drew, Jeff,Paul, both Lisa's and Nikki literally made me feel like I was not just a person but part of a big "recovery"family that truly cared about me , my needs and wants. not a bad place, really helped me find a community that i could relate and connect with. i ended up AMA-ing for my own reasons. with these places, there’s always room for improvement, i think there could’ve been a lot more to do and get engaged in in residence, i wish we had movie nights or kareoke for example. and i wish the woman’s group didn’t feel so…misogynistic? just felt like everything we did was very girly? the best i can put it ig. idk i found myself watching a lot of TV because of how little there was to do. if you’re looking for somewhere serene, you won’t find it here, BUT i think if you come in with an open mind, and do what you need to do, and DONT get caught up in other clients, you can find a lot of peace in sobriety. remember what you came for. (it’s you) goodluck in there! be nice to the TA’s too, they DO care about you.
i want to shoutout some of my favroite people, i think most of them have left, but GOD i miss y’all.
Mike James, ur the bald G.O.A.T
Riley, i freaking love your emo alien ass
Carmen, you were like a mother to me
Camilo, i still check to see how my bones are feeling, you really helped me a lot.
Charlie, you are just awesome i still have the fallout sticker you didn’t want.
Greg, MY REHAB DAD I LOVE YOU, thanks for that dope hike that one time.
Katie, i loved watching movies with you, you’re the best.
Kerianne, the best therapist i think i’ve ever had, she CARES.
Jackie, i wish we had more conversations, you’re so dope
and to anyone else i might be forgetting, THANK YOU!! i love you guys so much.

If you’re looking for a place that actually treats addiction like the chronic, complex, identity-dismantling condition it is, MARC is it. They take time, care, and effort, offering long-term care that dares to go beyond the hope of a 28-day radical transformation. The staff really knows what they’re doing, and they manage to be both clinicians and humans. It’s rare to find a program this ethical, compassionate, and effective. I couldn’t recommend MARC more!

I can't express in words, how much of a great and compassionate person the owner Pete is. He's a very stand up guy, when I had a problem that conflicted with my hours of school (I'm doing remote from 9:30am-4:30pm). Pete went out of his way to make sure, I could still attend my groups virtually from their IOP residential home during the evenings. When the house manager said I couldn't do this, Pete went and made some calls to accommodate me, so I could get the help I needed while also being able to pursue my dreams in getting a job in IT support. Meetings are available daily, and in addition to psychological assistance, medical physicians are available too. The hospital is spotless, you can choose the food you'd like to eat for 3 meals a day, and it tastes 😋 good. I have been with Port Recovery for about a year and a half now. I've had sessions with Alana, Elaine, Courtney, Joanne, and Carol. I also had M-F 9am group sessions as well when I was on probation. I like the place enough that I've decided to stay with them after probation to keep seeing Ms. Cook as my psychiatric nurse practitioner. The welcoming environment is exactly what I need, and most likely you too. I was referred to Port Recovery from my Probation Officer. I got into trouble by wrecking my car into a ditch while sleep driving on Ambien. I couldn't remember a thing, only waking up in the hospital. So, I stopped taking extra Ambien even if I can't fall asleep back in February 2020. Now, I'm getting help at Port Recovery with my severe anxiety, depression, and PTSD issues. Best place I've been to for those issues, and being able to see all the professionals I need under one roof is perfectly convenient. Everyone is on the same page! Good luck to everyone else!!! Highly recommended!

He remembered us from the phone call and we got what we needed. Shout out to him and the entire department of Vital Records.

If you’re looking for a recovery house to give you a great foundation for long-term recovery Homecoming projects is the house for you. I went to The Homecoming project right after turning 23. It was my first sober living home out of a 30 day program. I have been able to sustain almost 7 years of sobriety. Homecoming not only provided me a strong foundation for my recovery but continues to go far beyond supporting me after the house to be the best version of myself and the mother to my son who is now almost 9 years old. The Homecoming Project is not only a house but a community of support that I will be blessed with for the rest of my life.

This house and it’s staff helped to turn my life around in 2012 and I have been sober, happy, and healthy since. I recommend every woman in a similar position to this house, I believe in its mission and consider my recovery a direct result of the success of this house.

I was treated for an autoimmune disease that was unknown at the time. This autoimmune affected my ability to walk. FSH treated my condition to the point that I was able to be discharged to home care. I'm thankful for their PT and OT care that was provided to me by medstar home care which allows me to walk again. I would especially like to thank Dr. James Haas and Dr Ahmed for the care that was give to me during my stay.

Natasha who does the testing here is extremely caring kind and just genuinely likes helping others. She's collected clothes shoes and more for those in need. She's always getting things together for the homeless. She started doing group again in the mornings I think on Wednesday or Thursday. She's just an all around great person period!

My counselor Mrs. Yolanda is amazing!!! I have never in my life had a counselor truly care about my well being . You really saved me from a lot of pain I appreciate you always being up front and real . I can't imagine the lives you touch and how many others you help. You have Mrs. Rhonda another amazing women who was my counselor before. And Jess the nurse is the sweetest she can always make you smile . Gabby that pretty face you see when you walk in such a doll I love talking with her.. Not only do all these women do there jobs they make the time you are there comfortable and they actually treat you like a human being not a junkie . I have seen people dissing the Dr I don't know why she does her job . She's not rude she just does her job so I don't see why people are making bad comments about her.. I was upset the other day and regret making the review that I had that isn't how I truly feel I was just taking my anger out and that's not like me I believe in the if you have nothing nice to say don't say anything at all .. I apologize for my recent post I was just upset over the situation and instead of being the adult I am I was a child for a moment. But I realize that my anger and stupidity looks poorly upon this business which does not deserve anything poorly said about them when they are a good place too go get help with amazing employees inside. If you not only want help with your sobriety and great counseling I suggest come in and start your new life!!! I GOTTA SAY IT AGAIN MY COUNSELOR IS THE MOST AMAZING WONDERFUL WOMAN EVEN!!!! LOVE YOU MRS YOLANDA YOUR THE BEST 💕💕💕

I started going here when they originally opened. In fact I started the second day they opened. I really like this place. The owners (Jason & MOSHA) really care and do whatever they can to help you better yourself and become successful. They have went above and beyond my expectations. After about 9 years I transferred to another location of theirs. At that location I received the same level of treatment. I can’t recommend this place enough !!!
