What I liked most about it was they definitely taught me how I can have fun sober. We went for walks, bowling, church, fishing, got to see pigs, and meetings AA and NA, pottery, and the gym it was by far the best rehab I’ve ever been to!!! The staff really cares about your recovery. I am now 1month sober and counting! I feel awesome!!! Shoutout to my counselor Cami she was the absolute best!!! I would recommend this place for anyone trying to get sober. There are only 28 beds which is great! Cause then everyone has time to truly stay focused on their recovery and why they’re there. They're great at taking you off-grounds for different things such as church, NA/AA meetings, walks if it's nice out, etc. The food is great, and there's always snacks to eat in between meals. My room felt more like a college dorm room than a room at a rehab, complete with its own private bathroom and shower. I spent 22 years on opiets so it was something I had convinced myself would never happen but bright view showed me it could! I have had nothing but great experiences at the ashtubula clinic. The staff there are amazing every single one!! I don't even have to give my name , I walk in and say " I'm here" and the girl will smile and say " ok I'll let them know"! The crisis management team member Jen has worked with me many times. They have helped me get my medications started again and a full time counselor. It takes a little while to get everything going but they do what they can when they can. The staff have all been super friendly especially a receptionist named "Grace". I had another DUI conviction and decided I needed help for my problem. I went to ccdaec before I had to by court it was the best thing I could have done for myself but ultimately went to jail and I saw a councilor while I was incarcerated which helped. I made the first four steps but then was released and I started my court ordered counciling which included groups and individual counciling. If you knew me you would know I'm not good with change or new people. I've never felt more comfortable with the counselor s I was assigned to. They brought out all of the things I have never talked about before. They made me so comfortable and supported me like I have never known before. I would like to take this time to say thank you for all that you have done for me but unfortunately without you in my life I have relapsed once again but thank you for trying it was a good run when you all were in my life. Thank you for your help. Leonard Platt 6 months ago I came to the Youngstown, Meridian Rd location to get off of heroin/fentanyl at the end of 2023. The first day i came in to fill out paperwork i could tell i was at the right place. The staff are so caring and even when they're extremely busy they take their time with you no matter what. My only complaint was that my tolerance was so high and they start out every new patient on 30mg. That led me to still use until a couple months later when i finally got up to a higher dosage and they split my daily dose because i have such a high metabolism as found out they testing. Other than that i have absolutely no complaints and would wholeheartedly call a few of the staff friends. They have gone above and beyond for me a few times and i appreciated it so much. Many others will ask how my days going and while I'm at the dosing counter Maria is sure to ask if everything is ok with me which makes me feel great! The first year and a half i had Krista Rubosky as my primary care and MAT physician. Because i drive 63 miles round trip and because i was going thru other medical problems that hadn't been figured out yet, she would do both appointments at the same time on the MAT side. She was so caring and amazing, the best ever, but unfortunately she left there for personal reasons early 2025. As far as all the doctors, nurses and screening personnel, i can't say enough about how good mannered and patient everyone is and i honestly just love them for doing everything in their power to make us patients feel like someone actually cares and takes the time to do so. My heart goes out to all the employees and especially my counselor Abby. She's helped me more than i actually think she even knows. I've never been to a counselor before but it's been a pleasure being with her. I'll be moving next month out of state and I've got to say, i will wholeheartedly miss each and everyone of the employees at the Meridian Health Campus in Youngstown Ohio on Meridian road. I will genuinely miss our interactions every two weeks on my pick up day. Thanks for everything everyone and to anyone thinking of coming here, do it! You will not be disappointed and don't pay attention to some of the above comments degrading this place. Like anything, you get out what you give in. Simple as that🙂 Have a great day and good luck!! The nurses in Labor&Delivery( Victoria, Kiana, Amanda, Jade) and postpartum( Laurie, Dawn, Alyssa) are absolute angels. They were so attentive, made me so comfortable from beginning to end, they were amazing at handling our baby . Blanking on anesthesiologist name but he did a great job with the epidural, and doctor who offered to insert foley balloon last minute before her shift was over just to help me out!! I was in such capable hands and so thankful for these amazing people who work here ! The counselors used to sing a song and play guitar and it was such an amazing song and this day I remember that song, I remember going on activities and playing baseball and finally for the first time in my life having somebody that actually listen to me I would actually love to be able to get a hold of an employee there.
