I was here at The Village Behavioral Health when I was 17yrs old, I am currently 21 years old now. This was my 3rd Treatment Center by that time in my life. The BHT’s and the clinicians were absolutely amazing. I forgot many of their names, but I do remember their impact on my life. I was being treated for Mental Health and substance abuse, this is the first program that took me to a 12 Step meeting. They would take us to equine therapy and disc golf. I always had a great time on the outings. They didn’t change my life but I definitely left with some new understandings of myself. From the age of 16 to 21, and 7 treatment center’s later. I’ve found sobriety working a program of recovery in AA, now I get to help people for a living, helping to bring people into treatment all over the nation.

While here our child learned the skill of coping and reducing the severity of her explosiveness and more importantly how to be safe and how to communicate when feeling otherwise. Village Behavioral Health worked with us in family sessions with dedication and devotion.

So where do I even start….basically I was going thru a VERY hard time and no matter what I tried nothing was working. So I went to the hospital because I had a hole in my mouth from chewing my cheeks I have OCD and Tourette’s and yes I did want to die I was miserable. I got sent to this place after 7 days in the hospital and I have no complaints I thoroughly enjoyed my stay I made friends watched tv in the day room BUT first they had me in men’s pod D which was terrible! but once they found out I wasn’t a threat and I just needed help they sent me to track 2 which was Great! I played chess and everyone in there were friends it’s not a bad place as long as you don’t have an attitude and keep the nurses on your good side or else they will give u some “booty juice” lol and that’s something I wanted to stay away from. so I treated everyone with respect the staff and nurses and I had a great time if I ever feel the way I did before i can say I’ll go back 100% because there is healing in there happening they also let u get soda in the cafeteria im not sure who said they don’t but they do they have a coke machine they feed you like a king u can gain 20LBS in there, and they have snacks out on a push cart almost all day everyday you can eat Non stop but yeah other then that its not that bad if you are having thoughts of hurting yourself or someone else please go to the hospital and go to this establishment because you will come out better also they have group therapy and AA meetings and NA meetings if you need that. Once you go to track 2 50/50 chance you will have your own room which I did so u get a door on your bathroom and a nice quiet space. But anyways long story short I went back twice and now I’m fine so I haven’t been back in about 2/3 years. I think about this place often though because of the friends I made and how broken people can heal broken people it’s a beautiful thing.

Going to KRC is the best decision I have ever made. I made the drive from Asheville, and although I was still hesitant, from the moment Shawn greeted me in the parking lot and checked me in, I knew I had picked the right place. There are no words for how well I was treated and how many tools that I left with to start rebuilding my life. Every staff member made me comfortable and treated me like family. The classes were so, so far from the lengthy, boring lectures that I had expected. I gained so much from each and every group leader and the group discussions with other clients, many of which turned into real friends . I originally had signed up for a detox, but quickly realized that I needed and WANTED to stay for the 21 day program, and am ever grateful that I did. Amazing and abundant food was an unexpected bonus as well. If you juggling locations to decide on for your recovery adventure, I cannot stress enough how good this one is. The only advice I can give is, look no Further. KRC helped me get my life back.

My stay here was great. Don't get me wrong I had days I wanted to go home. But the staff was so nice and the girls were so nice that they talked me out of it. The groups were very awesome and really make me think about everything.
My therapist, Candace, was wonderful. She really helped me understand a lot and helped me open up. They have really helped me with my mental health! Thank you everyone 💓!
The tech's are awesome! Specially Rose. She could look at me and tell if I was having a bad day. And Tracy was awesome. They both would always have me laughing in the end. I miss them so much. And everyone was great at the clinical. Specifically Desiree. She is so sweet. Hoping to come back for iop program when my new insurance kicks in.

This is an amazing place!! These people saved my life. I’ve been to a few places before and never have I received treatment like I did at Sanctuary!! My counselor’s name was Sofia. She worked with me several times a week for a little over a month. She’s by far the best counselor I’ve ever had. She helped me work past my mother’s death and help me get to the route of my addiction issues. The staff here genuinely cares about you. They will go above and beyond. Sofia fought so hard for me in every situation, she never gave up on me. I’ve never had someone in my corner so much that wanted me to succeed in every way. Tracy my favorite tech still checks on me to this day. The facility is brand new, clean, and very nice. If you truly want to get better, this is the place to go. My experience was wonderful. The girl who did my intake paperwork was an angel. Her name was Jennifer. She explained everything so that it was easy to understand and made me feel so peaceful. Walking through the door to get help was so hard, but she made it easy. She reminded me that no matter where I am in life that I am still wanted and loved . Sobriety isn’t easy, but she is 100 percent the reason I am alive. Sometimes all you need is one person to remind you how loved and wanted you are and she is as that person for me. That day could have easy ended differently, but she changed something in me. Thankful for Ridgeview. The world needs more people like her.

Pasadena Villa Smoky Mountain Lodge was the perfect fit for our son. Our son had never been away from us for any length of time.
He was very nervous about going but acclimated pretty quickly. He loved all of the wonderful staff. He felt very comfortable and at ease sharing his struggles and life experiences. He attended every group meeting and met a lot of good friends. No judgement, just acceptance here.
Since he has returned home he still reaches out to the Alumni Coordinator and meets with the group every week. The support here is amazing. He also made lifelong friendships. The Lodge, the mountains and atmosphere here is absolutely beautiful and therapeutic. Praise God we found Pasadena. It literally saved his life.

I keep seeing posts saying this company is “money hungry” but one thing is, Citico works WITH you. I couldn’t pay for almost 60 days. They helped me get insurance for 8$ a month that pays for my medicine and better yet allows me to get medical treatment like I would on tenncare. They are sweet understanding people. I LOVE my routine when I go. Seeing the friendly security guy (my personal favorite) to seeing the beautiful women at front, sorry forgot their names but those women especially the light skin one is so SWEET. My care broke down and one of the workers offered to jump my car. They have been so good to me. Their job is hard. I came in the first day angry and agitated and wanted a fix. They worked with me. Put me in top of the queue and gave me water to calm me down. The woman usually in room 1 with the glasses and brown hair I feel like is my FRIEND. Cause she’s been with me from the beginning helping me get up on my dosage milligrams.
