Great place overall... some really great people that work there... I'm truly blessed to have met them.... saved my life!!!!!

Desiree, Amy, Amber, & Linda are phenomenal. Amy and Desiree give the BEST advice. Amber is so supportive and sweet, and Linda is all the tough love u need. These women are the absolute best and made my experience so much better than I could've ever imagined. I AMA on the 24th of Dec. However if you come here for the right reasons and leave the rest alone, you will learn A TON to help you on your journey to recovery. I can't say I'm not still struggling. But this was one step ahead for me in the right direction. One day at a time. Let go and let god. Thank you sstr!!

We are so thankful for Village Behavioral Health! Though we had a rough start, our needs and concerns were eventually heard and the journey continued smoothly! Staffing shortages, organization, and phone contact were difficult at times. Our child’s therapist, Lavanya was absolutely wonderful! Her knowledge and ability to connect and communicate is exceptional! She was instrumental in meeting our child and family needs.

I really enjoyed that my son got the treatment that he needed for life after discharge. His nursing staff and therapist have been amazing with the communication with us as a family. If your child needs help I highly recommend this place.

The village is like lord of the flies if you are strong and can adapt you'll be fine. But if not then good luck I went there 4 times it changes you mentally you lose a peice of yourself with every visit.

My experience at Journey Pure was literally lifesaving! I thought I could do it alone in my apt because I was ashamed of what I had become, me the one who wasn’t supposed to be in this place. Journey Pure called to check on me, so I told them the truth and a little over 24hrs later I was there! 2hrs after checking in I was taken by ambulance to ER and was in ICU for 6days. Had I stayed home and tried doing it alone, I’d be dead now. I had been dealing with addiction since I first got sick back in 2012, but really if I’m honest drugs and alcohol has been a heavy chain around the neck of my entire family weighing us down for generations and I’d been dealing with it my whole life in one way or the other. We all had. So I tried to avoid drugs like the plaque, then I got sick and the Dr.s began giving me meds so I believed that I wasn’t addicted because I have a legitimate reason, the doctors wouldn’t lie to me. Oh how wrong I was. I always thought that it was all up to me, that I had to break the chain so the others could follow, but again I was wrong so very wrong. Chains are broken one link at a time, at first by the few and then many! Journey Pure not only saved my life but the things I learned there, by the grace of God, now is opening windows for others. I pray that if you are reading this that you also find your way. We are not lost only broken!

Journey Pure has been great! Tesla and Katy really have helped direct me after my stay here to make sure I continue on the right path. I highly recommend anyone struggling with addiction and are seeking help.

Good people, kind, competent. The meds guy was an awesome dude. Wish I remembered his name. And Laura was so sweet and very knowledgeable and patient. The other skills group lady was awesome too, can't remember her name either maybe Meredith. The people working the drink station were all awesome. And finally the provider team. I genuinely believe y'all made the correct diagnosis and prescribed appropriately.

This hospital employees some of the most caring employees. I was beyond depressed and struggling to survive and each one of them went above and beyond to help me.

The staff I’ve encountered are so awesome. Everyone is truly helpful.

This is a healthy place to recover. Lots of freedom and a beautiful atmosphere and staff.

I absolutely don't have enough good things to say about this place. This place really cares about you, and you are not just a number. It's been really nice getting ready for the next / best part of my life with those who have been there and truly care about you. I thank you guys so much!!! You all have meant so much to my recovery!

Excellent techs, management, therapists ( NATALIE I LOVE YOU), case managers ( BECKY SAVED ME BIG TIME MORE THAN ONCE, she will do anything to help your situation out - love you Becky ), and fantastic food/ accommodations!

The facility was clean and nice. Staff were helpful and kind. The classes were resourceful and informative! It saved my life and I would go back if I ever needed it. If you or a loved one are struggling with mental health or substance i recommend this facility. This is the place to go for help and support.

I was very satisfied with this facility! They didn't pressure me into doing groups! It's a none Faith place to get clean to start your recovery! Me and my fiance were there together! And were treated like people! Thanks to Billy,Greg, Shawn,And Jana. Plus the Nurses were very very friendly and helpful with anything I needed! Plus the food was pretty Good! Thanks Marie!

Pasadena Villa changed my life and outlook for myself and getting well. The staff was fantastic and all therapists and clinical staff, and many others truly cared about me and my progress of recovery. Various types of group and individual therapy spearheaded this, along with music and art therapy. The other fellow clients were a great support system for me as well which I still keep up with to this day. It is a scary process to begin, but absolutely worth it. Pasadena Villa/Smoky Mountain Lodge truly cares about their charge of helping people in need, whether it be mental illness, substance abuse, or both. I learned that I can accomplished my goals while at the Lodge. I finally begin to believe in myself again, as well as restored faith with my God, faith in humanity, and faith that I can get well. Anyone can if they commit to it. All people in need owe this wonderful renewal of life to themselves, and that process was started at Pasadena Villa.

I was at Pasadena Villa Smoky Mountain Lodge for a little over 3 months in winter/spring of 2020. This place SAVED MY LIFE! I don’t know where I would be today if I hadn’t taken a chance and admitted myself into Pasadena. The staff here are beyond wonderful. From administration, to nursing, to therapists, to the psychiatric technicians, to the maintenance/housekeeping team...everyone truly has a heart for this and loves the residents. There was constant support and love 24/7. The facility was beautiful! It was like staying in a resort. There are huge windows in the main room that looks out to the gorgeous garden area, and the beautiful smoky mountains! I loved sitting on the couches and watching the sunrise in the mornings. It always started my day out on a great note! Obviously at any facility there will be some problems and things that upset you, but truly I can’t speak highly enough about this place. Sure, there were occasional miscommunication problems and things I didn’t love, but overall it’s an amazing place. I will say, the first few days or maybe a week are very difficult for most people. Being in a new place away from your life and family is hard. It does GET BETTER!!! The food is INCREDIBLE! The culinary staff really knows what they are doing and put a lot of effort into making our meals excellent. I made lifelong friendships while being there. The peers you will meet are a huge part of making it through this difficult journey. They do a lot of fun team building groups and interactive activities. The therapy groups are so great, and so informative. I learned so much from attending those groups. They have something for all the issues you could be struggling with. I would recommend this facility to anyone who is struggling and needs to make a change in their life! You will get from it what you put in! If you truly want to make a difference in your life and get better, and you attend groups and really put your all into therapy... you will benefit from the program.

Their approach to recovery is the best one by far they really/ set you up for success in the real world and provide the best tools so that when your out you thrive.

Cherokee Health System in Alcoa is PHENOMENAL!!..They are the nicest people and the most professional staff I have ever had the pleasure to deal with...Everyone is so friendly and kind...I can't imagine me ever going anywhere else....EVER!!

Dr. Chloe Jackson at the Alcoa office is my DR.... she is absolutely amazing.... All of the staff there are friendly and help you with anything they can! GREAT OFFICE !

Great office staff and Mr Alex do an amazing job at interacting with my son and listening to me on issues I may be having with him.
