They are no words to express enough gratitude for Path Recovery and the staff. This is not just another program, this is a place to find healing that lasts, a place to find freedom and to experience victory over whatever obstacle has prevented you from living the life you were created to live. In my most desperate moments, Bram was relentless to ensure that I was heard, seen, cared for, and walked with me through every step of my journey to wholeness. There are many programs, but this is a Path. All you have to do is take the first step. If you or a loved one are in need of help, don’t hesitate… Hope is a phone call away.

Such a wonderful place. Truly the most caring people you could ask for to help along such a difficult journey. Bram and Kenia are the owners but so much more than that they actually truly care about each person who walks through their doors. You are not a number to them but a person they want to give love and attention to. They truly want to help. I stumbled across them by mistake but it was definitely God’s plan for us to cross paths. I could not be more thankful for them and all they have done for me.

If you work in an addiction recovery center, I encourage you to look beyond the individual patient and consider the needs of the entire family. I understand that nurses have demanding schedules and many responsibilities. However, I hope staff will also listen carefully to family members rather than dismissing their concerns, even when those concerns are expressed with emotion. Family members are often under tremendous stress and are trying to support their loved one's recovery. Recovery from addiction involves much more than simply abstaining from drugs or alcohol for one month. Lasting recovery requires addressing the underlying causes of addiction while also recognizing the impact it has on the entire family. I understand that group therapy is helpful, but it may not reveal the full picture without understanding the family's experiences. Family members are the ones who live with the consequences every day. We experience the stress, emotional pain, financial burden, and ongoing effects of addiction. In many cases, family dynamics also play a very important role in both a person's addiction and their recovery. I understand that many people in your program are struggling with serious addiction. During detox, patients can access to expensive e-cigarettes purchased from vending machines at the facility. However, I do not understand why communication with family members is so limited. Families are allowed only 20 minutes of phone time per week. I realize the nurses have very busy schedules, but the phone is busy most of the time. If there is an emergency, we cannot even reach our family member who is staying at the facility. This is not an effective system for communication between families and the person who is trying to recover. Family communication is an important part of recovery, and there should be better opportunities for families to stay connected. Unfortunately, I felt that my concerns as a family member were not taken seriously when I asked to speak with a nurse. I recognize that the nursing staff has many responsibilities. However, cutting off communication with family members without explanation left me feeling excluded during a very difficult time. My intention is to encourage a more family-centered approach to addiction treatment. Recovery affects the entire family, not just the individual. When families are respected, heard, and included appropriately, they are often better equipped to support their loved one's long-term recovery after treatment ends.

As a nonbinary individual, I was nervous about feeling safe and respected. Thankfully, the staff were kind and affirming throughout. Losing my husband broke something in me. Tristar felt safe, and the nurses were so patient, which I needed. Detox was rough, but they helped me through gently. I appreciated the group time most, sharing with folks who actually understood. Wish they had more grief-specific support, tho. Still, I left with more hope than I came in with. It’s not perfect, but it helped me start healing.

I came to Tristar for my son after many hard years. As a mom and a nurse, I needed somewhere with strong clinical care and real spiritual support. The staff were mostly kind, professional, and I liked that they offered family sessions too. We joined in on some education meetings which really helped me feel included. I do wish their aftercare planning was more consistent. Still, this place gave us hope again. Grateful for that.

Let’s be honest. There are a lot of things in our world that aren’t built for women or don’t think about what women need. The Next Door is the opposite. It’s a rehab center in Nashville, Tennessee that’s only for women. This rehab is faith-based so the program has a spiritual backdrop. There are inpatient programs and outpatient programs
There are truly no words that can express how grateful I am for everyone at Next Door Recovery Center. When I came through their doors, I was at one of the lowest points in my life. I felt lost, hopeless, and unsure if I could ever become the person I wanted to be. From day one, the staff treated me with compassion, dignity, and unconditional support. They never judged me for my past—they believed in my future. Every counselor, nurse, and staff member genuinely cares about the people they help. They don't see you as another patient; they see you as a person who deserves a second chance. Their encouragement, patience, and commitment gave me the strength to keep fighting, even on the days I wanted to give up. Because of Next Door Recovery Center, I have hope again. They helped me rediscover my self-worth and showed me that recovery is possible if you're willing to put in the work. I will never forget the impact they've had on my life, and I will always be thankful for the love, guidance, and support they gave me during one of the hardest chapters of my journey. If you're struggling with addiction or know someone who is, I wholeheartedly recommend Next Door Recovery Center. They don't just help people recover—they help people find themselves again. They truly changed my life, and for that, I will be forever grateful.

Brentwood Springs Detox is a leading drug and alcohol detox center in the south eastern part of Nashville, Tennessee.. The goal is to help you wean off addiction related toxins from your body and get it ready for the main therapy. Their medically supervised detox program helps you safely and effectively manage the physical symptoms of withdrawal.
My name is Daye Cooper. My experience at Brentwood Springs was amazing for the most part. I only had problems with one particular nurse who refused to give me medication that the doctor had already ordered, causing me to be in withdrawal for three days from a medication that I had no plans on stopping. Apparently, she had her own personal reasons for not wanting to give me my medication. She felt like I shouldn’t be taking it to begin with??? Once a more experienced nurse came in, though she took care of it and fixed the problem. The entire staff is kind and caring. The medication’s are very customized to each individual. When I felt like I was getting sick they extended my taper to make sure that I was not uncomfortable. The meals are catered or homemade. The kitchen pantry is stocked as well as the refrigerator and freezer. There are plenty of drinks and snacks including juice and fruit. I was able to reach out to my family on a regular basis and was given great advice about aftercare. I would recommend them to anyone seeking help in recovery.

I'd give out 10 stars if I could. I checked into to Brentwood Springs Detox without knowing how great it would be. I found them on the internet and pulled the trigger. They drove an hour to pick me up free of charge. Upon checking it they greeted me with an understanding of my situation. This helped put my mind at ease as I was already overwhelmed with stress of checking into a Detox center. They are very attentive of how you're feeling and immediately come up with a game plan for treatment. They are very professional in every aspect with your treatment and are open to you at all times if you are feeling a certain type of way, but at the same time every staff member is super laxed. The nurses are amazing and are available to you 24 hours a day. You can tell that they truly want to help you. I don't feel out of place here. The food is great, the people are great, and the way they have this place set up makes it feel like you are at home. They have tv's with all kinds of apps and cable. The whole place is clean and well kept. The rooms are clean. The meetings they set up are absolutely amazing and have helped me tremendously. They have a beautiful backyard with great views which is crucial to your feeling of well being (at least for me) Cameron is great as well. In the 3 days that I've been here he's given me tons of knowledge and advice and has made sure to check up on me and how I'm feeling. Again, the whole staff truly wants to help you. You can talk to them at all times about anything and they will all completely understand. I would recommend this place to anybody I know that needs help, and hopefully this review will help all of you who are searching the best place to help you and everything you are going through.

Put simply, JourneyPure saved my life. I was at the proverbial fork-in-the-road where I could die or I could choose to take action and regain control of my destiny. I chose the latter and I’m better for it. The staff at JP-Franklin are second to none. From intake, to the billing department (Chance), to my group therapy sessions (and my therapist, Tim...awesome dude), and my coach (Jackie) I was shown love, care, and support by everyone with whom I came in contact, staff and fellow patients alike. They provided me with a judgement-free environment where I was able to be honest and vulnerable to get the most out of my recovery. I came in to the program in absolute tatters and left with my head held high. I was given the tools necessary to ensure that I started my journey of recovery on the right path. To anyone reading this and debating facilities or programs, please stop looking. This is the spot you need to be. If it worked on me, I assure you it can work on you. Do yourself a favor, make the decision to get sober at JourneyPure. I promise it’ll be one of the best decisions you ever made in your life. The journey of a million miles starts with the first step. Take that first step with these folks.

The group therapist Tim Byrum is hands down the best group therapist this facility has. He goes above and beyond for the people in the group and I truly felt connected with the group and Tim when attending his group. I’ve tried other therapist at Journey pure but there wasn’t a lot of involvement with others and the connection and trust wasn’t there like it was with Tim. Journey pure has a true asset having Tim and other therapist there could really learn a lot from Tim. Groups with Tim felt like family lots of involvement you never felt alone and he really taught me a lot and made things easy to understand more so taught me to take a step back and look at the bigger picture and the knowledge I learned in just the few days I was in his group I will carry with me in this long journey of sobriety thank you Tim for everything!!

I did my IOP at Foundations Nashville after leaving Black Bear Lodge. The transition was seamless. Even though we did IOP through ZOOM it was a GREAT experience. I had wonderful therapists: Lauren, Lyndee, and Dr. Dan! They offer lots of resources and the community and connection in the room and between the group members worked well despite the fact we were online. I highly recommend Foundations Nashville. I have dual diagnosis of addictions and depression and I came out of IOP much better than I came in and with the tools I need to continue my life long journey of recovery and discovery. Thanks again FRN IOP. I truly appreciate your partnership in my recovery!

The location is newer and cleaner. the VA employees are friendly and helpful, for the most part. We just have gripes about how we can ask for care and get gaslit on everything till we have to cry in a ER

I visit the Veterans Outpatient Clinic located at 1919 Charlotte Ave in Nashville Tennessee for my Veterans Affairs Doctor appointments. This Veterans Outpatient Clinic is convenient for me to access because it's not far from where I live. I like to go see my Care Provider here for my medical follow-ups. I usually get in and out fairly quickly. The nurses are friendly and very professional. There is a on sight lab here for me to get my lab work requirements done. I normally go to see my Veterans Affairs Doctor every 6 months. The parking area is efficient and I normally don't have any problems finding a place to park my vehicle. I have been going to the Veterans Affairs Outpatient Clinic located at 1919 Charlotte Ave in Nashville Tennessee for a few years now. However on occasion it's a little hard to find a place to park.

My niece who is in my custody was recently at Rolling Hills in the Child and Adolescent program and I really wanted to share our experience. I had actually seen Dr. Trautman on the news before which made it kind of crazy when I realized he was going to be her doctor. He called me himself with updates and I was able to reach him when I had questions. That really meant a lot to me because this was obviously a stressful time for our family. The biggest thing for me was how he connected with my niece. She has struggled with addiction along with her mental health and I felt like he really understood that part of her story and listened to her. Neyland her nurse practitioner was great too and very kind to us. I’m just really thankful for how they treated my niece and our family while she was there.
