Journey Pure's outpatient center in Knoxville is a fantastic option for IOP. The staff are so kind and caring and really supportive of your recovery. The providers are knowledgeable and extremely helpful in filling and adjusting MAT/psych/general medications. I keep seeing posts saying this company is “money hungry” but one thing is, Citico works WITH you. I couldn’t pay for almost 60 days. They helped me get insurance for 8$ a month that pays for my medicine and better yet allows me to get medical treatment like I would on tenncare. They are sweet understanding people. I LOVE my routine when I go. Seeing the friendly security guy (my personal favorite) to seeing the beautiful women at front, sorry forgot their names but those women especially the light skin one is so SWEET. My care broke down and one of the workers offered to jump my car. They have been so good to me. Their job is hard. I came in the first day angry and agitated and wanted a fix. They worked with me. Put me in top of the queue and gave me water to calm me down. The woman usually in room 1 with the glasses and brown hair I feel like is my FRIEND. Cause she’s been with me from the beginning helping me get up on my dosage milligrams.

If you're truly tired of being sick and tired. The methadone clinic is the way to go. Unlike Saboxine there is no blocker so keep that in mind if you try and twilight. I'm not saying that it can't be done just start low and stay alive. I promise after you get your milagrams up where they need to be that is when you realize that you longer need the garbage that you thought you were so addicted to and couldn't do without you find your self not even craving. Try it out for your self. Be blessed

Mental health services has been great!
Can't say that for PCP. I'm extremely anemic (blood work shows that) and can't get in until the 16th of January! Unfortunately, I don't have insurance so I can't afford to go anywhere else. Guess I'm not dead enough to get the care needed.

I have been going to the adult center since 2003. I have always received top notch care. The staff in the back is always 100% committed to helping me live my life to the fullest even though I struggle with a mental diagnosis. I have seen several different people over the years and I can say every one was thorough and listened to my input about what worked and didn’t work for me in medications. Times when I was uninsured they immediately got me enrolled in a safety net program which makes my meds 3.00. Only negative is having to come in face to face every 3 months bc I am bad about keeping appointments. Nurses line always answers questions the same day and will call until they reach me.

As a parent, I wanted to share my experience after my son recently completed a 5-month stay and successfully completed the program.
Staff (Therapists/Nurses): Overall, I’m very pleased with the support and care my son received. The staff seemed genuinely invested in his well-being, and I could see the positive impact their work had on him over time.
Areas for Improvement: My main concern as a parent was the inconsistency of our weekly family sessions, which were often rescheduled or delayed- this was due to his therapist being very busy and having heavy caseloads, which leads me to believe the facility might be understaffed or stretched too thin. Regardless of the reason, it sometimes felt like our time wasn’t prioritized or valued.
I also had some concerns about cleanliness and safety within the Village, based on my son’s feedback about the showers not being cleaned regularly and the unpredictable behavior of some of the other residents.
Despite these issues, I believe the program as a whole helped my son make real progress, and I’m grateful for the staff who cared about his growth and recovery.

I don’t know how to put into words my appreciation for the staff members and facility. I arrived during my hardest times in crisis where I felt I had nothing, no one, no hope.. and I thought my mental health was going to end my life a few times.. I wish I could thank the staff a million times over. For their patience, compassion, inspiration, kindness and so much more. While I hope I don’t need to go back into hospitalization again; I’m thankful people and places like this exist.

Grant, Daniel, X and Jen so many more but here’s the main i can remember they all helped me so much through my recovery. Grant sat with me when i was scared to do one of the groups, he made me laugh and taught me jokes. Daniel sat with me through an anxiety attack while i cried he told me it was okay to cry and he let me talk about all of my trauma and problems. X she sat with me everyday because i felt sad to sit by myself because it made me overthink. Jen she was the sweetest and talked with me and many others. they all were so helpful and kind. i’m happier than ever and health too, thanks to all the lovely people there to support me.

First I want to say how amazing the staff was when i was there they cared so much about all of the patients when i was there from april 17th to the 30th I think about how much the staff have impacted me everyday and i miss them also so much every day, The staff I had was Grant, Daneil, Xandra, Tim (nurse), Onyx, Keegan, Lindsie, Jayden, Aniyah, etc. They all were so fantastic and so caring and loving for dayshift and They all get a 5 star rating from me and deserve that food they was talkin bout. Grant became like my brother when i was there and i got an attachment to him he really changed my life. from making jokes 24/7 always making me laugh to some serious convos about life and what to expect when i was gonna go back home and more. He was truley amazing and Same with Xandra and Daneil, Daneil was so goofy and also always making me laugh him and grant working the same shift was like double trouble the kids loved them and looked up to them so much and they couldint stop making you smile. and Xandra did the same thing she was so funny and kind and loving and she braided my hair so well and we also had some serious convos before I left and i feel these people helped me so much. and Tim was so goofy and would also always make you laugh and he was always straight up with you no bs and i appriciate that. And to the people i didnt mention i love and miss yall so much and Grant im coming back to work there when im 18 that plan is not changing.

I have been seen in the Oak Ridge office for years. No one has ever given me any troubles. My calls have ALWAYS been answered. My appointments have always been positive. When I was laid off, they did the paperwork for safety net to ensure I was going to be receiving my medication as prescribed. I have nothing negative to say about this place.

I went here like 2 years super amazing place the approach is professional but life like human connection any one of staff will stop and listen if u hv a situation. Group is life like straight up real life a safe place to open to break to heal and one on one is avliable as well . They helped me get clean, and taught me alot. It has its ups & downs There was a lot to offer that gave me the tools I needed to stay clean. I graduated from their program in October 2021 and I’m still clean. They had some amazing employees & some that were questionable. My only complaint is that a couple employees shouldn’t be allowed to be in charge of recovering addicts. Again that’s based on back in 2021 so that may have changed. Overall I will recommend them to anyone seeking recovery, for sure.
