I've been coming here a while now and I can honestly say this program saved my life and gave me back my life and if you've ever been there addiction changes you Thanks to all the help and support from the staff here FCCR shout out to Austin and Caitlin thanks for all your help. Bottom line I've been clean 6 years now I wanted for myself it was hard and I fought every day at first but it was time to leave the party and I did it I couldn't have done it without FCCR God bless you all ...... And everyone be nice to the staff they work hard and drug addicts as a group are not the easiest of people to deal with

Went in to the ER for a bit of a scare with my pregnancy. Dr. Rachel who saw me is an amazing professional who has impeccable bedside manner and gentleness. I was in and out within 2.5 hours after they figured out the source of the problem, likely due to it being midday. Even so, everyone we came across was helpful and kind. This is what patients will remember forever so please keep it up!

My experience at New Life Christian Retreat Center was truly memorable. The location is stunning, exuding peace and tranquility. The staff members are warm, helpful, and accommodating without being intrusive. The accommodations are cozy, and spacious. The retreat center has on-property access to the North Anna River and scenic forest trails. I was there for a women's retreat, but would suggest this site for a wedding, family reunion, or just a place to unplug and relax. If you want to get out for a daytrip, the area has plenty of historical attractions, plus the retreat center is not far from Ashland Berry Farm, Lake Anna State Park, and Kings Dominion. My group stayed on the property -- you'll understand why when you see it. Personally, I left feeling rejuvenated and uplifted after my stay at New Life Christian Retreat Center. I highly recommend this place.
My opthamology tech was very knowledgeable and helpful. She advised me on future appointments and when I'm doing upgrade. She went over and beyond for me. I really enjoyed the appointments at the VA Clinic just don't mind them at all. Thankful they are there for me. Her name is Denise so shout out girl I think you're awesome. Thanks for fixing my right hearing aid I'll try not to break it again LOL

I go to VA 2 Clinic. The staff has always been exceptionally nice and helpful. And the care has been as good as I've received in both the Military system and Civilian. I'd highly recommend this team.

I want to thank TT and all the other members of the Snowden team from D unit. Throughout my stay there, the staff were super efficient and very professional. There were a few times where other residents set off a few of my red flags but the staff was always there to help and led there support. Best to you all and keep up the good work!

My four-year-old son was admitted to the Pediatric Unit and I was blown away by our experience.
He was a direct admission from our pediatrician and that process couldn’t have gone smoother. I very much appreciated being able to skip an ED visit and just walk straight onto the unit. We walked into our room and immediately found a Jared box, a backpack full of toys, and a colorful, warm blanket. My son was so excited to see these special touches and was so comforted by them- the Jared Box was a huge hit and absolutely saved the day.
Our nurses – Hannah, Taylor, and Anthony – were incredible. I especially want to shout out Hannah and Taylor – they were outstanding. They put me at such ease with their professionalism, efficiency, and compassionate care. Taylor was also just incredible all night long. Once I was able to get him to sleep, she went out of her way to make sure his vital checks were so quiet and unobtrusive that he never even woke up. She also managed the messier moments of our stay with such grace, and I just really appreciated the way she cared for my son.
Dr. Chanock and Dr. El Bash were both amazing as well. I deeply appreciated Dr. Chanock asking me to step into the hallway to discuss the care plan so as not to create more anxiety in my son. This was such an unexpected and thoughtful thing and allowed me to concentrate on processing the plan without managing his emotions at the same time.
I have such a deep appreciation for the way this team cared for my son, and we could not have had a better experience on the Pediatric Unit. Thank you to the entire team!

Objectively, I have to say the everyone who took care of my husband, from room cleaners, nurses, care managers, techs to doctors, was extremely professional and showed genuine interest in getting him healthy again. I could not have been more impressed, thank you.

I spent eight long days at Mary Washington healing from a brutal domestic violence incident. The care and patience and kindness I received from every staff member on Four South was unmatched by any stay I’ve had in my life. I’m sixty one and had many stays from the doctors to the sweet ladies that kept my room spotless to the accommodating kitchen staff it was pleasant. They didn’t let me suffer in pain. The food was shockingly good. I felt like royalty. The care I was given had as much to do with my healing as the medicine I was given. I’m off to a rehabilitation center now and will miss them.
If I could give them ten stars I would give them ten stars. I’m giving them ten stars in my heart.
Carmen is amazing and really cares about her clients reaching their "life worth living" goals. I spent over 15 yrs of (at the time 21yr old) my life in and out of therapy. She's the only one who truly helped me make any true progress. Wish I had found her sooner.

Mike is personable, honest and direct. He genuinely cares about you as a person. He has focused groups and keeps the focus on growth. He definitely calls a spayed a spayed! Mike will assist with your scheduling needs and meet with you individually if needed! You WILL be screened weekly sometimes more - $$! 20 week or more program IS worth your time! You will make a friend and supporter for life! DO IT FOR YOURSELF!!!!

This place is not like any other place, they actually listen to you and are not out for your money! Mr. Hawkins will work with you if you have financial or attendance problems. These sessions consist of small, personal, relaxed environment sessions. At first I was kinda skeptical because I’ve been to others and to be honest, just going through the other clinics sessions “made” me wanna drink afterward. Not this place, it was just all good vibes. You’ll definitely enjoy your group sessions (I know that’s weird to say about a therapy center). I would 100% recommend.

This place saved my life. Plain and simple. I just left in late October 2025.
And just like any AA / NA meeting, rehab requires action and work. RCA might not be a Malibu Passages (which rehab isn’t suppose to be some fantasy, sleep and get massages all day land) but they helped me crack the code in how not to give up, bc I wanted to and I was tired.
But the experience I had, leaning into it and embracing it? Yeah, I got so much from this place. Family. Friends. Knowing I’m not alone. It’s huge.
So thank you RCA.
And a massive shoutout to Pastor Ken. I could not have asked for a better therapist who just knew how to help me, I can’t explain it. Bridget, my Case Manager has a bigger heart than I thought was possible to have; Brittany, Marcus and Tammy (3 of the staff whom I was really counting on being there, and they were! I owe them so much)
And Ms. Sherry T….Ms. Sherry is a damn godsend to the patients. One of the greatest human beings I’ve ever met and will ever know. ❤️❤️
And Tai, (I think that’s how you spell her name) in the cafeteria. She defines what pure joy and just happiness is when you think it’s all but lost.

The RCA Capital Region has changed my life. Even after a year they still keep me involved in activities to support my sobriety. And look to spread awareness to the communities!
I've been going here for 6months and before that I was at the VA. There's a few differences between them both but most of all I can tell the Care. I have had 2 Counselors which is understandable considering the work load they have. Since the begining I have been happy and impressed how easy they made my transferring. I started just where I left off at the VA.The only thing I don't agree with or understand is when getting an increase u have to pick up for 3days before getting ur tak homes. I can understand this policy when u a starting out. But it doesn't make much sense after that. I can also say when there was a problem with my pick up (ther Mistake) my councler fixed and had all my bottles in 30mins. All I can say is If u work the program it works. Thank you

I love my counselor here at Pinnacle treatment center FCCR Radford. I feely counselor Lauren is amazing she's does everything she can possibly do for. Shes supplies me with wonderful advice, wonderful resources and everything else a counselor should do. My panic attacks got to such a bad point that she gave me her cell phone number in case I need to message or call when I need her. FCCR RADFORD SAVED MY LIFE!!!

This is the only MAT program clinicnive ever been to but they have been amazing. If you are serious about your recovery they most definitely are going to help you. I've had a couple friends go to other clinics and from what was said FCCR is more strict and that's so important. Especially if you are serious about your recovery and do really want to better yourself and your life. The office staff is amazing there. The nurses are wonderful. I've had 3 different counselors due to 2 of them moving on to better their lives, but every counselor I have had has been wonderful. Very helpful. Easy to talk to. Thank you FCCR for being there and helping me better myself and my life. "It works if you work it"

I’ve been going here for 6 now. When BHG took over the old clinic, River City, there were growing pains as any company has going through a takeover. Then the pandemic happens during the takeover. Staff was leaving left & right because patients blamed them for literally EVERTHING. The patients refused to see the bigger picture and wanted to blame staff for following the pandemic rules. BHG was the only clinic in RVA excepting new patients during the pandemic because they genuinely want to SAVE LIVES! Somehow so many patients complained about so many new patients holding up lines. Anyway, with all of that being said, I’ve seen staff come & go BUT THE STAFF THEY HAVE NOW IS SO CARING & want nothing but THE best for us!!! Dr. Swainey is so down to earth once you see how much he relates to us, you’ll have so much respect for his compassion to help us that are stuck in this awful cycle. I could write a book on how much I’ve grown to adore the staff & they ALL deserve the absolute best in life. Every single one of them have played a part in my new outlook of life and I owe that to them. <3

My journey started there. Many great counselors. A couple of them really should find another career, but nobody is perfect. I still believe they do there best.
I urge anyone who is in need of help to call. I am very grateful to them. Addiction is fatal when untreated. The good news is early recovery is temporary as well as painful.

I moved into the Avalon house about 8 months ago. It has really become a home to me. There is a lot of women in one home but we all manage to get along rather well. The Avalon house has been a safe , supportive, clean environment. We operate similar to the Oxford model in that we hold one another accountable. Anastasia is a hands on housing manager but she gives you the room you need to be an adult and make the decisions for your recovery that you feel are right. If you follow the rules, and prove to her that you’re trustworthy then she affords you that trust and she is understanding. I truly believe that Avalon is one of the main reasons that I’ve been successful in my recovery thus far.
It’s imperative in early recovery to surround one’s self with like minded people and Avalon is absolutely a home that you will find the resources you need to grow and thrive into the person you want to be. I absolutely suggest this home to anyone that is willing to put in the work to live a sober life. It’s all about what we put into it that determines what we get out of it.

Been living at one of Anastasia's houses for over a year, I came to this place via a treatment center and have stayed since. The structure and supportive environment of the house, its owners and its other tenants have helped me to achieve the longest amount of sober time I've had since I first picked up a bottle.

Avalon is simply the best. The owner, Anastasia, is so genuinely invested in the success of every member in her program. She holds people accountable while also offering grace. She stands her ground on what she believes but also takes the time to truly listen. She's involved, caring, and earnestly invested in the path of recovery for every person she meets.
You won't leave this program without being impacted by what she and avalon has to offer. It develops structure, elevates discipline, and guides people from a state of "is this possible?" to a reality of unfathomable possibilities and complete change.

I absolutely love the front desk girl and the physician I have along with my counselor... My problem is that why is it that I feel before I share my concern or future ply... It's ALREADY spoken on BEFORE I speak with my physician?. I also feel like I was spoken on BEFORE I entered the room with my PHYSICIAN. I don't feel comfortable with that 💯, ESPECIALLY because it's ALLEGEDLY SUPPOSED to be CONFIDENTIAL. What happened to this??. My doctor was really ready to put me in a detox I didn't come for AND I don't give problem with anything I'm asking help with. I don't get it. I was cool about it and told HER not to worry. I'm working on me and I know I been doing over the above job with what I came for help for. She should be now know that too. Other than that... I love ALL those women working so hard there💯

I have been going to Savida since 12/24 and it has been such a nice journey for my recovery. The office is always clean and stocked up with snacks. Donna-Fe is so sweet and very helpful. Appointments are always very well scheduled with little to no wait time to see the providers. Art is a great counselor. He listens so well to you, I wish the sessions were longer, that's how good of a counselor he is. Kyle Jones has been my Physician and he is very sweet, a good listener and always asks how one is doing besides just prescribing medications. I have also seen Stephanie Rutherford who has been injecting my Vivitrol shots. She is also very sweet and knows her stuff. I have come a long way with Savida and it has been such a great experience this time around in my recovery. This place definetly makes you feel welcomed and accepted.
