Prestera is a wonderful mental health organization that serves the state of WV. As a CCBHC they pride themselves in giving quality care to every individual who walks through the door. There are programs that can assist with anything from severe mental health issues to social needs such as housing, and obtaining food stamps. I'm a 2013 Graduate. The Rea is an absolutely phenomenal recovery home for women. Fantastic program. I couldn't recommend it more. All of my needs were met and I was taught how to live again. I've maintained my sobriety, graduated college, achieved gainful employment, and purchased my own home. My successes are also The Rea of Hopes. I couldn't have made it here without them.

My husband spent 5 days here, was seen by multiple Doctors and NP, but really received a definite diagnosis before leaving, never understood what was the cause of all his problems and there did not seem to be any rhyme not reason to his care, it was all divided into different MD's and he was not given a care manager.

This place is amazing..You don't have to wait long for appointments. They tke walks in everyday at certain times. An they pretty much got any kind of doctor you would need right there.. The best thing is their slide fee. That means they only make you pay base on your income. Very friendly and caring staff.

I’ve been going here for a little over 2 years I’m pretty sure I’ve been seeing McDaniels for 4. In the beginning of us going here my husband struggled with sobriety. I always felt comfortable talking to Becky about any of my concerns when it came to him. She knew I just wanted him to be sober with me. They never gave up on him & now he’s going on 2 years sober. We both love our therapists and feel like they genuinely care about us. If you are looking for a place to help you get and stay sober please consider this one. The staff where very understanding and alot of people dont understand they cant break there rules or they get fired they are they to watch over u and make sure your not harming yourself or somone else. They are not therapist. So they are not there to listen to your problems. I was there for a month straight and watched how they treated people. And no if you sign yourself in there is certain criteria u have to meet before u go home. And if said person was to read the paperwork they would be aware of that. You get fed, showers,clothes and help. So to leave bad reviews when half of the people came from worse situations if un needed

And the place is insanely understaffed.

Spent 3 day's in the ER until they got a room for me, I ended up being in the hospital for 6 days But I have to say the staff and doctor's, and nurses was wonderful, they treated me with love and kindness. Today, I had the enjoyable experience of meeting Adam & his friend outside the Ravenswood WV Food Fair. I believe in this program & pray more locations will open. Addiction is at epidemic levels. Many need help or a voice that says, "I care about you". I do care about all of you & you can be reassured that God does too. The enemy comes to steal, kill & destroy. The youth are in his cross hairs. You're a target because you're a threat. You need to know how valuable you are. We all should do anything we can to help this organization. In response to the other comments, would you rather your loved one be either dead or homeless on the streets due to addiction? Can't comprehend anyone that is negative or has anything bad to say about a program that's saving lives. You should be grateful. I'm beyond thankful for this program.
