Dear Friends at The Arc,
I am writing this letter to express my deepest and sincerest gratitude for the life you have given back to me.
When I was facing a potential prison sentence of 16.5 years, your organization stepped in. Your team’s tireless advocacy and commitment to my case were instrumental, and I will never forget your work in the courtroom.
Because of your efforts, I was able to walk away with a sentence of five years probation. This outcome was nothing short of a miracle for me.
Today, my life is full of promises and great gifts. I wake up every day with a profound sense of hope and opportunity that I would not have without your intervention.
The Arc is more than just an organization; it is a place of love, care, and true consideration for those who are most in need. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for giving me my life back.
Sincerely,
Joaquin

Hands down the best clinic I've ever been a patient of. From the case managers to the nurses to the doctors, they are all very caring, competent, and professional. Being a non-profit, they maintain a culture where the care and wellbeing of their patients is prioritized over profits. Compassionate and non-judgmental with responsive and courteous staff. Nikki's amazing! She cares about the clients and goes the extra mile to ensure her client's needs are met. There have been more than a few times where I didn't know what to do or who to turn to that she helped me pull through and figure out the next steps. I don't know if I would have gotten through the painful situations that I have had to deal with in my life over the last couple of years without her help. The staff in general is amazing and I'm so grateful for this facility.

Seams all good on the website, but when you actually get to the place it's not what they advertised or promise.
Zero veteran support but they tell the VA they have a detailed veterans program.
Things they have listed on website but don't do:
1) Veteran/First responder-specific groups not led by staff it's all ran by the actual patients
2)Group therapy, including psych-educational
Individualized therapy. same classes each week
3)Trauma Release Exercises (TRE) no one knows what this is
4)EMDR 8 weeks in and still have yet to get appointment for this same for 98% of the people
5)Somatic Experiencing Therapy no one knows who does this
6)NARM (NeuroAffective Relational Model) no one knows about this
7)Brainspotting staff has no clue on who does this
8)Psychodrama staff has no idea about this
9) massage therapy not available
10) acupuncture not available
They say they do mental health but 99% of all classes is for drugs and alcohol.
Staff members don't communicate with each other. Psychiatrist don't talk to therapist/ counselors about what care , classes each different patient needs.
Staff members fail to give messages to patients or even inform the patient that they have a phone call from there primary Care provider.
Staff members taking vacation and not having a backup to who will be taking over that job. Example front desk was closed for 2 days causing all mail/deliveries to be sent back "no one was authorized to accept".
First 2 weeks at this place and 3 staff members "quit"/ "fired" without notice.
In order to check out you personally have to run around getting signatures from all different staff members.
You only meet with psychiatrist once a week for 15min and once a week with counselor for 40-50min. The rest of the time your doing "classes" where 80%+ of them don't even apply to why your at this facility.
Example I cam in for alcohol but they have me going to narcotics classes, breathing exercises classes.
UPDATE after Cottonwood Tucson response to this post: it's not hipaa to talk about or address the issues listed above, no names are included just goes to so all your responses are a simple copy and past to swipe issues under the rug.

This was a waste of time. My son came out worse than he went in. I spent $2000 to send him to a real rehabilitation center after wasting hours a week for “intensive” therapy and discontinued services at the Mark. Months after I get a huge bill from the Mark, after they told me my insurance had 100% coverage. She made no effort to explain how this happened and the cost was my deciding factor in choosing the Mark. Then to find out Vicki is sending me to collections because of her mistake. If you want to waste your time, go to the mark. Just make sure you know the costs up front as they are not honest about it if it means signing you up. I NEVER would have gone if I knew the ACTUAL cost up front. For the weeks that I was there, I was never told I was going to have a bill. And then after services were already rendered like a year later, she decides to bill me even though she assured me at the time I signed up that it wouldn’t happen. What ever you do get the cost in writing up front. And just don’t waste your time.
