I’ve been coming here for now well over 3 years. I was addicted to “gas station herion”/opiods I was in and out of rehabilitation places. I looked everywhere for help it wasn’t till I came here I got my life back. I’m a father of 3. Lindsay the provider is amazing! She helped me get out of my head and didn’t play no games. Which is what we as addicts need. Her amazing character and how she really cares, shows. I honestly can’t say where I would be if not for porch light. I’ll be 2 years sober/vivitrol come June 1st. You want life back of course starts with you, but the support they offer here is unmatched.

I highly recommend the Sublocade injection. Administered by a professional once a month, it has helped me stop using Suboxone. Since starting Sublocade, I no longer experience cravings or withdrawal symptoms. In fact, I even had to go an extra week without my dose due to being sick with the flu, and I didn’t experience any negative side effects, cravings, or withdrawal. I’ve tried various naloxone/buprenorphine combinations over the past 6 years, and I truly feel this is the most effective. I no longer have to worry about taking pills every day or dealing with the ups and downs of withdrawal. It took me a few years to give this a chance and I wish I would have done it sooner.

This place is absolutely amazing. I have been attending since last October and my life has done a complete 180. The support and professionalism is second to none. I have received some of the best care I have ever gotten from a recovery center. I have been supported and encouraged every step of the way. They really take their time and make me feel like I am an actual person. They have helped me get more comfortable with myself and have encouraged me to be true to myself. Everyone from the receptionist to the counselor are top notch and make me feel very welcome every time I walk through the door. Dr. Lindsay is absolutely awesome. She really takes her time with me and makes sure I am well taken care of. One of the best doctors I have ever been in the care of. Terisha is such a great counselor and always makes the time to check up on me even if we don’t have an appointment scheduled. Last but not least Nate is one of the first psych professionals I have been able to truly open up to in a great many years. He is absolutely amazing. This group of professionals have quite literally saved my life. With the combination of these incredible individuals I have managed to gain control of my life and head in the right direction with astonishing speed and security. I know I have to put in the work. But it is so much easier with them in my corner. I am so grateful that our paths have crossed and I am going to stick with this program.

This place should be shut down. I had a counselor member laugh at me for having to live with family after getting off the streets. I'm not kidding. This is the quality of ppl they hire. BHG is run by a corporation as well. Their bottom line is more important than your life.

Soooo here's the deal. This program is not easy. Well, Serenity was kinda easy (I did both of their programs). I hear they've changed some things in the long term program since I was there, but I'm sure it's still not easy, or fun. I went in March of 2020 after a series of unfortunate life choices including two DUIs and discovering my inability to get sober "on my own". I had burned every bridge with my friends and family, I was as down and out as they come. My probation officer said "jail or rehab" and when I read about Stout Street, I immediately knew deep down that it was what I needed, despite the mixed reviews. I completed the inpatient portion of the program (18 months). During my time there, I was forced to face myself in a way that I desperately needed. I COULD sit here and rage about the aspects of the program that were - arguably - too intense. But I'd much rather tell you this: Stout Street changed my life. Because of the "job" I was assigned while I was in the program as the Medical Clerk (during COVID too! It was wild!), I had the necessary experience that I needed to apply for and gain access to a job in the addiction treatment field, where I still work to this day. Must more importantly, Stout was the TIME OUT I needed from life. It is a truly precious thing to have a year and a half to work on yourself. No bullshit. To not stress about bills, bad relationships and people from your time in active addiction, and to just SHUT OFF THE NOISE - is a GIFT. I am so grateful that I went here because it was the beginning of a beautiful life that I am now really creating, day by day. Had I not gone to Stout Street, I would be dead or likely in ANOTHER crappy codependent relationship. I can proudly say that I've been single since I went in, and five years later my life is looking more promising and feeling more stable and fulfilling than I ever thought would be possible. I always thought I would die before 30. That was my trajectory. Until Stout picked me up and shook me HARD with the reality of life, showed me that I CAN stand on my own two feet, and gave me ~H O P E~. If you're looking for a cushy rehab where you get loads of free time, someone to sign off on the lies you tell yourself to keep getting high or drunk, quick tips, and comfort in recovery... Look somewhere else. This place right here will wake you up and teach you how to be uncomfortable. I can't even tell you how many people bounced out after a month or so. It takes guts to work through this program. It's worth every tear, every WC, every write up, and every tough confrontation. I am only now (5 years in the future lol) really seeing and reaping the benefits of my time here. The more time that goes on, the more tools that I find myself using to navigate life. Tools that I gained from Stout Street. The classes that they offer during your time are life-changing. I still do Inner Child work to this day, and I will do it until the day I die because it is the only thing that has helped me heal certain parts of myself from abuse and self-loathing. In all transparancy, I did not graduate the program. I had a relapse in the sober living phase of the program and ended up going to another facility briefly to get back on track. But my drive, my THIRST for self awareness and self love - those came from Stout Street. I am now an HONEST person because of this place. Sometimes you have to break down in order to rebuild, and this is a place where you can do that safely. A few staff members had an incredible impact on me, and now we're coming full circle and I'm working alongside them to help others find their way into recovery at the outpatient clinic where I work. I can't say thank you enough, Stout Street. I also can't say I haven't talked a LOT of shit on this program.... Because it was HARD. But the gifts they offer are undeniable. I love seeing my "brothers and sisters" from Stout out here thriving. It is truly incredible and if you really want to change your life, you should go here. Trust the process. If I could do it, so can you.

The people there are amazing as well as the people that are part of your treatment the treatment team work together as a team. There like being home the patient rooms are very nice well keeped clean
But I have a problem with the nursing staff as well as the doctors by the way they treated some patients but that is the passed. The food was ok but the main cook wouldn't listen to the patient and there needs. But all in all it was a great place to go to treatment and for me I was able to really work on me and yet be able to listen to other that to is helpful it shows you never have to be alone. We also when to outside meetings that could and it helped me a lot as well. THANK U FOR HELPING ME WHEN I NEEDED IT MOST.

This place saved my life. The entire staff is incredible and I quickly built relationships with everyone. And I could go on and on about my counselor Lindsey. She’s incredible, literally the only person in my life I look forward to talking to twice a week. She’s hands down my absolute favorite person ever. She goes out of here way and makes my recovery a priority. I’ve never had a support system like this and it’s the best feeling.

This program is so antiquated like the Doctor in those so called therapy classes. You will be walking on egg shells . Their write up system can be used to target you.. Not realizing that there is other up to date programs that offer the same Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Behavioral therapy. I'm glad that I left that program. Was excepted to another program that actually interacts with the community,allows you to have a job and save money and you get to have a cell phone.. I have been sober since then and partake in many community sober events .. This Stout Street is a slave program .. There is better options and up to date recovery programs out here that are truly there for an individual that is ready to Recover and put in the work..

I was attending treatment here as part of my juvenile probation and was seeing Alfonso the director and owner of Spanish Clinic forgot (last name). The first few months were going well and then all of a sudden I would come in and the conversation wouldn't be about me but another individual. This raised concern as my whole case felt like a lie and trap. My probation officer and therapist have both spoke of different individuals in regards to my treatment in our meetings. Then once I was feeling abandoned and my progress wasn't meeting my expectations I stopped attending for a month. After that month I tried to reschedule with the Spanish Clinic and was told I would have to pay out of pocket and sign up again because I was let go of Alfonso's case load. I feel that I will take legal action because I did miss appointments but ultimately this was my treatment facility authorized by the court and county to provide my treatment in the community and failed me. On paper it does say it was a decision made by the director and my probation officer but I was never told about this decision till I dug in the paperwork more. Good luck, Mucho suerte

Like every establishment like this one, it had its ups and it has its downs. The staff, for the most part, seem to ACTUALLY care about the patients and keeping the patients sober. Also, the staff makes it a point to learn, not just your name, but who each person is as an individual. This makes, at least me and my husband, feel like we matter and motivated to stay sober. It's a good place for addicts to go to when rehab isn't an option!!

this treatment center is nothing but amazing. I completed both my education and therapy with Serenity, and it was very straightforward and easy to stay on track with classes. Both Kevin and Theresa are knowledgeable and so helpful with whatever I needed regarding my DUI and getting education and therapy. I have nothing to say expect wonderful thing. From the office people to Ann out instructor and therapist.
I felt they really cared. They spoke to me spoke to me with dignity and respect.
While zoom is not the easiest form to teach, Ann did great job. I took a wealth information.
Just remember if you treat people like you want to be treated it usually works. One last thought.
Do not blame them. We are the one's to blame so own it.

It's hard to describe the level of care and support that Rose House provides. No family ever wants to be in this situation, but Rose House provides a level of knowledge, confidence and assurance that we couldn't find anywhere else. The fact that it is female specific makes its mission that more effective in not only dealing with addiction but the underlying roots of abuse and trauma. We were desperate and they gave us our daughter back. This place is not an adult daycare or resort. They require not only the patients to do the hard work, but the families as well. I had a life changing experience during my stay at the Rose House. The staff are kind and firm at the same time. The dynamics between the clients is also a very therapeutic part of it all. The way we cared and called each other out was very crucial to the whole experience. I would highly recommend this treatment center to anyone who is serious about a clean and sober lifestyle.

I want to start this review by acknowledging that recovery from mental health issues, trauma and addiction is HARD. There is no one place that will be a good fit for everybody and no place will work until the client wants to change and is ready to do the very difficult work required for healing. We stumbled upon the Rose House when we had almost lost all hope for our 18 year old daughter. She had been in and out of various mental health facilities and rehab facilities but nothing worked. She was an addict but if she checked into a rehab facility the trauma she had experienced caused her to go into a fight or flight response. She acted out verbally and by self harming. Although they would claim to be a dual diagnosis center, they would always call us within a day or so and tell us they didn't have the type of facilities to help her. If we tried to get her residential mental health help we were told there was no such place. She could only be put on a 72 hour hold if she was a danger to herself or others. Our daughter's addiction began when a couple of men lured her into their trafficking scheme. She was 14 and they paid her a lot of attention. In her mind one of them was her boyfriend and she felt flattered that an older man would want her. They started giving her drugs in exchange for sex. Soon she needed the drugs to stop the feeling of guilt and disgust she felt from what was happening to her. When she finally said no to one of them he physically and forcibly raped her. I wish we had understood earlier what was going on. (This man is now serving 97 years in a Colorado prison)
We walked into the Rose House and took a tour at her lowest point. She agreed to look at the Rose House but wasn't committing to going. After the tour we sat in Alison's office and I asked her if she thought the Rose House could help my daughter. Alison said if she is willing to come she is exactly who we help. My daughter said no one can help me I'm broken.
My daughter checked herself in a few weeks later after being arrested for a DV situation and a high speed chase with the police. She spent a night in jail and realized she did not want to spend another one there. She had a court hearing. Alison met us there to support her and then took her to the Rose House. We couldn't speak to her for 2 weeks during the settling in period. Once we could communicate with her we saw growth every time we spoke or saw her. I asked her what was different this time. Her answer was 1. I'm ready for help and 2. the staff knows what they are doing and I know they care about me.
I don't want to paint the wrong picture, recovery is never a straight line and it doesn't always happen in a set period of time. I was glad that the Rose House worked towards goals and that's what drove moving to the next step - not a set number of days on a calendar. They were also there on the tough days. Setting boundaries when needed, treating clients with respect and always showing compassion and consistency.
The other thing that is different about the Rose House is that they really believe that the healing of the client's family is important and do a lot of work towards that with the weekly family zoom meeting and the family weekend. We learn that we can not control the decisions of our loved ones but we can set boundaries for ourselves. We can support them in their recovery but we can't do it for them.
Our daughter graduated from the program and spent some time in the step down program. She is now 19, just received her 6 months chip for being clean and sober and is holding a fulltime job. She continues going to meetings almost everyday and is working with her own therapist to continue the work that was started in the Rose House.
I honestly believe that if we hadn't found the Rose House she would be dead now. Instead I get to hug her everyday and get to see the wonderful woman she is becoming.
The Rose House and it's staff have our undying gratitude.

This is the best place for whatever you have going on in your life. I am on supervision and use them for my classes, one on ones, and testing. The staff is super nice and helpful. The people there are amazing as well as the people that are part of your treatment the treatment team work together as a team. There like being home the patient rooms are very nice well keeped clean
But I have a problem with the nursing staff as well as the doctors by the way they treated some patients but that is the passed. The food was ok but the main cook wouldn't listen to the patient and there needs. But all in all it was a great place to go to treatment and for me I was able to really work on me and yet be able to listen to other that to is helpful it shows you never have to be alone. We also when to outside meetings that could and it helped me a lot as well. THANK U FOR HELPING ME WHEN I NEEDED IT MOST.
