So I just want to start off by stating that this facility changed my life drastically and saved my butt! Quite literally. I came to FCRC a scared, shaking, & shy woman. I was a kid on the inside.
Mr. Jeff & Savannah saved me from myself AT LEAST 3 times from trying to walk out on my recovery because of issues on the outside (life continues even though we go to treatment, ya know). When I tell you I have never met a team of such caring loving & HONEST staff? I hadn’t until I walked into this facility. I graduated yesterday, with 44 days today under my belt. I had hopped on a plane from Houston TX not knowing anything but my Higher Power did. I am so beyond grateful to First City and their peeps. All the way from the Detox experience to my PHP part of my program, everyone was helpful and so kind. And that level of care? Hard to find. Aye, shout out to Bobby in PHP & IOP, that’s my boy!!! First City, thank you for giving me my life back & my children their mother back. My husband his wife. We love y’all. 🙏🏼🫶🏼🫡

This would be my second time at river bend , When faced with the decision on which place I would seek treatment at , The only place I truly knew I would get help at was river bend . The staff there are so kind and respectful. They truly understand that no one wants to be there so they do their best to make it a better experience for everyone. I spent Easter at river bend and I am so thankful for the staff who truly cared and found ways to make the day a good one. I went to the ARC program here. Which is the addiction unit and it absolutely changed my life. The staff were absolutely amazing. Some of them are still major parts of my life and my recovery. I couldn’t be more blessed for my time spent there . Such an amazing place . The therapist were perfect. The leadership was perfect. I don’t have one complaint. And I gave them a run for their money and they never stopped showing me love and support. Thank you for saving my life !❤️

I had surgery July 22. Stayed over night. I came to brag about the nurses I arrived at 6am. The RN Susan prep me for my surgery. I enjoyed her whole energy. I was very nervous and she helped ease that. Going into my surgery the medical team was very friend and all smiles night night I went. Dr Watters did my surgery he was very informative. The Day shift staff on 2nd floor took care of my needs with RN Nick bein my main nurse. At night RN Carrie took care of me. I believe it was a tech named Megan who was all smiles and made me comfortable. Occupation Therapist Bobbie made me feel comfortable and confident about my after care routine. I can’t remember the other Therapist name but thank u all. ❤️🩹🙏

I went through Trinity house in 1988. My reviews at the time would’ve been stellar. On that note, you really need to look at all of the reviews on all of the review sites. I don’t know if Google really vets their reviews so do some really good research before you decide against this place. I’ve been sober for 37 years.

I don’t know who the negative reviews are from but some people (patients) are the because they are psychotic & out of control. Its a secure facility. You aint in there fore a vacation. You are there for treatment.
Ive been twice. Staff are awesome...every one of them. Food os great. Big screen TV & about 150 movies, books, private rooms.
Constant checking & monitoring.
I wont be back but I recommend it to anyone serious about getting better.

The MRT, sober school, and weekly house meetings is the core of the program. Over the year that I’ve been here I have been graced to know a lot of people. I saw what worked and what didn’t. This program brought me to multiple different meetings of recovery also. In the past this may have been a different program but as it sits with me it has been directly responsible for equipping me with the tools to START a lifetime of recovery though I will have to continuously upkeep my recovery in order to make it successful but this program is a great start. It’s a nine month program but I was able to stay longer because I don’t feel quite ready to leave. It afforded me the opportunity to continue to help new people coming in and improve my own abilities. I am now coming up on one year and I can confidently say the effort is not only proportional of my own work but the thought and attention of the program that is a living organism- growing and developing when required. It’s not a stationary object never to be changed. It’s being built on continuously through a team of kind compassionate and knowledgeable folks that are open minded and willing to review things that may no longer work or might work better.

It was pretty good the community was good. They were pretty low staffed so hopefully they can take care of that problem. Besides that it was a fun environment and a good learning experience.
