When the program started in this place I thought it would be a waste of time but in fact, it was the opposite, they were friendly, friendly, caring and compassionate, they are sincerely interested in patients since they come in the door. I appreciate everything they have done for me and continue to do it with more people.

The Indiana Center for Recovery in Bloomington, Indiana literally saved my life. A lot of people say treatment for drug abuse saved their life but when I walked into the treatment center on Dec 2, 2025 my blood pressure was at stroke levels and I had no idea. I had literally been walking around with hyper tension for several years and combined with my drug abuse I made bad decision after bad decision after bad decision. I thought I was going in to detox or to reset myself but I realized after a couple weeks that it was a life changing event. The nursing staff got me on high blood pressure meds to stabilize my health and the therapists and facilitators got me into recovery. By practicing meditation, yoga, therapy, group sharing, exercising and eating right I have regained not only my health but my crystal clear clarity. I am now in recovery for three weeks and have about another week to go in the program. Colin Troy and his staff was instrumental in getting me into the program and my therapist Meghan Miller has helped me tremendously along with all the staff at the recovery center and even with a week left I feel like I have a new lease on life. I used to say that I was built for this, in regards, to my drug abuse, but now I have flipped that saying into I am built for recovery. And it's all down to the Indiana Center for Recovery and their amazing staff and program. Highly recommend for those that are serious about their recovery. Wonderful compound, living conditions, with an amazing gym and recreation center. Staff is accommodating, thoughtful, and professional. Plus they use holistic practices like mediation, yoga, art and music therapy, and acupuncture to go along with the traditional therapy and twelve step program education, with the added addition of a Recovery Dharma leaning. After being here I can see why they are now rated number 1 nationally for treatment and recovery centers.

I would give the staff here, that I have met, six stars if I could. The new secretaries are so kind and thorough. The nurses are caring, and I cannot recommend Dr Oriaifo more. I can't say much about anyone else because I haven't seen anyone else, but for the secretaries and my doctor, six stars.

The first program to actually work for me. I've been through programs.. so many of them throughout my life, yet this is the one that changed me. There aren't enough stars on the options for me to post publicly for the gratitude I have to the amethyst House and all the people associated. Alyssa Gatz (Director of CRT), and her staff at CRT are by far the most amazing group of people that I have ever encountered. The CRT staff goes above and beyond to help any individual who wants to change their life for the better. There's never a question that cannot be answered, and if there is the staff again will go above and beyond to get you the correct answer. The 90-day program provides structure and discipline to an individual's life who wants to make a positive change and continue to live a full sober life displaying the best version of yourself. At the end of the 90 day program Ms. Gatz and her staff will provide each individual further recovery by helping the individual who wants to say sober and continue to live with further housing.
I moved to Bloomington in January 2024, I had never stepped foot in Bloomington, Indiana and I knew absolutely nobody. The staff at CRT helped me get all the correct documentations that I will need to get a job, driver's license, birth certificates, any other documents that I needed to further my life and Recovery. After the 90-day program and I moved on to a different sober living being Courage to Change the staff of CRT was still more than willing to help me with any other things that I needed or had questions for. Also after I graduated CRT I used to think the staff on the consistent basis for saving my life. They assured me that I saved my own life and they were just grateful to be able to give me the tools the structure and the discipline to change my life so that I can save my life.
Me myself I can go on and on about CRT about all the wonderful things that they have to offer but I know 100% that there is not enough time in one day to speak on all the great experiences that I had at CRT. I would recommend to anyone out there who wants to make a change in their life and is willing to make the effort to meet CRT at least halfway to contact them you won't be disappointed believe me when I tell you. I went to CRT and my experience is you couldn’t find a better rehabilitation program. The staff truly care, making your stay very individualized. Recovery isn’t a one size fits all we are all very unique and different in the things we need and the CRT staff approach this amazingly. They do a great job at preparing you for the next step in your life. If i could give them a better rating i would. Definitely recommend!

This place is amazing, all the staff members are sweet and understanding. Because of the bad experiences I had in previous places, I didn't have much hope that they would treat me decently, but the people of this place have a great heart, they helped me with the problems I had with the medical insurance, they helped me so that I could be a patient of this center and they prepared an appointment so that the doctor could take care of me. I was just released from the facility. In my opinion the staff was great food was good programs were very informative. I highly recommend this facility to anyone with mental, depression and or anxiety situations. Keep up the good work!

My father was treated for his demenitia/ altzheimers. Harsha did a great job getting my dads medication regulated. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Luke and Kara were great as caretakers. Luke did a good job at finding my dad appropriate nursing home placement.

My husband was in Harsha's Savera Geriatric Unit for Alzheimers behavioral care and we are amazed what the doctors did for him. The staff went above and beyond to help him. I would highly recommend Harsha Behavioral Center.

Linda Morse has taken good care of me; listened to my concerns and got me the help I needed. Best provider I’ve had at Bloomington VA. The nursing staff has always been great. Hope Linda has a wonderful retirement and I hope the next provider is as caring as her.

I always feel comfortable and well cared for here. If only all American citizens could recieve this kind of medical care. It's sometimes hard to get through by phone but this may be a system wide VA problem. Don't mean to gripe though, otherwise I'm grateful.
