Tara treatment center was a life changing program. I went there not wanting to be there and I left with the tools to help me stay clean and become a happier healthier person. Can't say enough good things about this place!

I came to Tara in February 2020 after my new born daughter was immediately removed from my care at birth, my house was part of a local drug raid, and overdosing shortly getting out of jail. I had been beaten beyond recognition- I didn’t who I was… or why I was the way I was… I was a tiny piece inside my body, the rest consumed with anger, fear, loneliness, etc. I wanted to be me again- the mom I have always meant to be for my three daughters. Tara was immediately welcoming- it wasn’t over crowded, they had nice furniture to relax in while doing the intake process, and everyone was so kind and welcoming. I recall not wanting to leave Tara when my 30 days had came to an end, but I was so excited to start my new life. As of today I am 5 years and 9 months clean- this would not be possible without Tara. First City Recovery Center is an awesome place with friendly staff, caretakers, and administrators supporting individuals through education and providing resources &to recover from the world of addiction. I would highly recommend this very clean and friendly environment for yourself, loved ones and friends.

So I just want to start off by stating that this facility changed my life drastically and saved my butt! Quite literally. I came to FCRC a scared, shaking, & shy woman. I was a kid on the inside. Mr. Jeff & Savannah saved me from myself AT LEAST 3 times from trying to walk out on my recovery because of issues on the outside (life continues even though we go to treatment, ya know). When I tell you I have never met a team of such caring loving & HONEST staff? I hadn’t until I walked into this facility. I graduated yesterday, with 44 days today under my belt. I had hopped on a plane from Houston TX not knowing anything but my Higher Power did. I am so beyond grateful to First City and their peeps. All the way from the Detox experience to my PHP part of my program, everyone was helpful and so kind. And that level of care? Hard to find. Aye, shout out to Bobby in PHP & IOP, that’s my boy!!! First City, thank you for giving me my life back & my children their mother back. My husband his wife. We love y’all. 🙏🏼🫶🏼🫡

Can we just take a moment and thank these beautiful kind souls for everything they do for us. I love that I came here I wouldn’t change it for the world they all have truer showed me what it’s like to be understood. Also look at this amazing meal they made for us.

If it wasn't for Eastway I would have been dead by now. I've been with them for 15 years. But their housing program is okay. I also like the fact that there's a pharmacy right there inside. I've been using Eastway's Pharmacy since they opened up. I definitely like that your meds can be delivered to your front door IF you have No Way of getting to the Eastway building. IF you have (a) prescription(s) that needs to be filled the same day you go in for an appointment with a Doctor they will have it filled by the time you're done with your appointment. I will Always recommend Eastway to someone that needs mental health and proper medications. I like the staff that works there. Everyone is very nice to you and they usually have a smile on their face. I try to get a laugh out of one of them and it usually works. As long as Eastway has their doors open I will continue to go there. The staff is wonderful. I'm glad that I have a case manager for longer than two years. My case manager now (and has been for 4 solid years.) She goes above and beyond the call of duty. (She's been there for about 20 years). She helps me go grocery shopping and soon to do laundry up the road. I Pray everyday that I don't lose the case manager I have now. I have pleasant feelings for Eastway. IF you get the chance to be a client at Eastway, remember that getting the right medication can take some time. It took them close to 13 years of trying different medications to get the right regimen that works for ME. I also like the fact that there's a Bus Stop right out front of the building. 😎🤗🤓💜✌️🤙👌💟☮️. I hope you can enjoy the care and staff there. Everyone there is a happy, pleasant person. I LOVE EASTWAY!!! The ONLY way I'll go somewhere else is IF they close their doors. My mother told me about Eastway and when I started the "Journey" there I had a sense of good things to come my way. The rollercoaster of emotions that I was going through finally ended when I became a client at Eastway. At first I didn't like it there because of TWO case managers they Always had a funky attitude towards me and dismissed the fact that I'm there for Mental Health. I'm getting treatment for my Bipolar Disorder. Looking back I'm Glad that I got help from them. IF I didn't make the first appointment to go there, I HIGHLY DOUBT I would be alive right now making this post. Eastway is the one facility that I recommend EVERYONE to go to for Mental Health. In my opinion and experience, Eastway is the place to go get help. Thank you Eastway for your help and this "journey" I'm on with y'all.

I have been at eastway for years excellent! Staff too work with great doctors.and I'm just not saying that just too be saying that it's true I've always been able too get my meds which is one of the important reason too go to eastway other than the nurse staff and Doctors.If you need help I highly recommend eastway.ps I'm doing very well on my meds and help from my case manager. Remember everything doesn't go your way . But the Doctors know thier job. You just have too do your part also.

Peer Support Specialist

I did ECT through Lindner Center late last year. Every person who worked there was kind, caring, and professional. Everything was explained thoroughly and all my questions were answered. I wasn’t sure if the ECT was helpful but after a couple of months, everyone close to me saw it. I’m so thankful that I was able to help through Lindner. Previous to this, I had done basically all that was available (PHP, IOP, TMS, Ketamine), besides regular therapy sessions, and meds. Update: It’s late Oct and I’ve been doing ECT since Dec, so close to a year. My mental health has continued to improve and I haven’t been in crisis all year!

I do not recommend a loved one be dropped off here. Once they do, the facility has full control over how long the patient stays — even against their own will. Patients only get one phone call per day that is supervised. If the patient says anything negative about the facility, the phone gets hung up. Most patients are held for 30 days or until insurance runs out. The program itself is a joke. The marketing for this facility is very professional, although, the services and staff are anything but that. I was threatened by staff and dismissed. Dealing with postpartum depression and insomnia, this facility did not help with anything, they only created harm, trauma, and a distrust of medical professionals. I urge you to stay away or report them to IN attorney general.

Out patient treatment is remarkable,. No one reaches you the way Ashley and laura do. FIVE STARS!!!!!!

I've had nothing but the upmost positive experience here. Every Dr I've seen has been so kind and caring with my son. They have done nothing but help us with the struggles and questions and have helped with answering them. They have nothing but respect and admiration from me and my son.

I have a great therapist named Greg & Lindsey the medication psych NP is just as great ! I've only had good experiences the last 3yrs I've been with them .
