I see a lot of people giving the FRC bad reviews and to them I say: you get what you pay for. They are a community funded center who help a lot of people who are down on their luck and need help. They offer a lot of free and cheap resources. I've been going off and on for five years and the staff there has been tremendously valuable in helping me through a lot of hard times. The staff at Brightview is so positive and welcoming, the staff always think of patients first. Anna in particular ALWAYS tells me she’s proud of me and the meds is calculated to my needs. Ashley is my counselor and she pushes to talk me every time we have a meeting set.

It was very hard to get myself to reach out for help for a long time. The moment I did, it went nothing but up from there. Recovery and Wellness has been nothing but nice and empathetic. Just over a month and a half, I have felt a positive difference with my mood, motivation, relationships, happiness, and my body. My therapist and I connect via video chat on the weekends which makes it very convenient for my busy teenage life! Not only was I recommended by a friend, I have continued to recommend people I know when they mention they are struggling. Not only that, I found a lovely place that took my insurance (which not many places do) and it is in the same building where my pediatrician used to be, which gives lots of comfort and familiarity. This place has done nothing but benefit me and I’m so thankful :)

Love the staff. They listen to you . Medical is also great . If you are a no show or something they call you to check on you . The one on one is always great feel like I can tell them anything . I tell everyone I know to go to Bright view . I've been to a lot of treatment programs and this one in Centerville is by far the best I have been to . They also call me out on my bullshit but don't make me feel bad about myself or that I can't get back on track . They don't give up on you even if you e given up on yourself

Brightview has been my recovery home for six years now, and out of all the places I have received treatment, its by far the best. I started going there because someone told me they dont care about THC. This is true, they're chill about it. But I stayed because a) it actually felt like a doctor's office, instead of an apartment or house that had been rented to use as a treatment facility, and b) i felt and still feel like im actually cared for; they aren't just after my insurance claim.
Last year I would have rated five stars. However, a change made last year has really stuck in my craw and upset me, and despite the feedback they've received from me and countless others, it's yet to be rolled back. Used to be, if you needed to speak to someone to find out what time your appt is, or get a message to your care team, you could call 24/7. NOW, only new patients can call and receive assistance after business hours. They contract their calls out to people who work from home, and they no longer have access to existing patient records after business hours.
Maybe it's the industry standard, I wouldn't know. But it was and is still very disheartening, for people who work odd hours or sleep a lot due to depression 🙋♀️and cant always call during business hours. That's the ONLY reason I'm not giving 5*.
I'm a patient at the Centerville office, and my girls there are truly like family to me. I've had several different doctors but its nothing like other facilities, with their revolving door of staff coming in and barely getting settled before theyre gone again. I got placed with a counselor who's been with brightview over 10 years, because i was tired of telling my life story over and over. I realized I had gotten everything I could out of a group setting, and they put me in a ghost group so I don't have to attend one anymore. Susan, my provider, is literally like the mom I always dreamed of having. She's so good at her job and she makes sure you know how much she cares for you.
One last thing, since i know who is most likely reading these reviews. if youre on suboxone and tired of being ruled by a daily dose, consider the sublocade shot. They got me on it hwre. I was terrified because the withdrawal has always been so bad. With sublocade there was ZERO withdrawal as I made the switch, and ZERO withdrawal when tapering off. It takes about three months, and you're just OFF of it, without having to deal with any of the BS of withdrawal symptoms.

I came as soon as I realized that I had an addiction problem . At first Brightview treated my husband and myself as if we were not worthy of help. My husband refuses to come back but I knew I didn’t have a choice.

She gave this place a shot and they have been excellent. There will always be some people who don't have respect or manners acting crazy but that doesn't mean everyone is like this. If it wasn't for Eastway I would have been dead by now. I've been with them for 15 years. But their housing program is okay. I also like the fact that there's a pharmacy right there inside. I've been using Eastway's Pharmacy since they opened up. I definitely like that your meds can be delivered to your front door IF you have No Way of getting to the Eastway building. IF you have (a) prescription(s) that needs to be filled the same day you go in for an appointment with a Doctor they will have it filled by the time you're done with your appointment. I will Always recommend Eastway to someone that needs mental health and proper medications. I like the staff that works there. Everyone is very nice to you and they usually have a smile on their face. I try to get a laugh out of one of them and it usually works. As long as Eastway has their doors open I will continue to go there. The staff is wonderful. I'm glad that I have a case manager for longer than two years. My case manager now (and has been for 4 solid years.) She goes above and beyond the call of duty. (She's been there for about 20 years). She helps me go grocery shopping and soon to do laundry up the road. I Pray everyday that I don't lose the case manager I have now. I have pleasant feelings for Eastway. IF you get the chance to be a client at Eastway, remember that getting the right medication can take some time. It took them close to 13 years of trying different medications to get the right regimen that works for ME. I also like the fact that there's a Bus Stop right out front of the building. 😎🤗🤓💜✌️🤙👌💟☮️. I hope you can enjoy the care and staff there. Everyone there is a happy, pleasant person. I LOVE EASTWAY!!! The ONLY way I'll go somewhere else is IF they close their doors. My mother told me about Eastway and when I started the "Journey" there I had a sense of good things to come my way. The rollercoaster of emotions that I was going through finally ended when I became a client at Eastway. At first I didn't like it there because of TWO case managers they Always had a funky attitude towards me and dismissed the fact that I'm there for Mental Health. I'm getting treatment for my Bipolar Disorder. Looking back I'm Glad that I got help from them. IF I didn't make the first appointment to go there, I HIGHLY DOUBT I would be alive right now making this post. Eastway is the one facility that I recommend EVERYONE to go to for Mental Health. In my opinion and experience, Eastway is the place to go get help. Thank you Eastway for your help and this "journey" I'm on with y'all.

Not sure why VA Health gets a bad reputation with facilities like the Dayton VA Medical Center around. I have been using this facility for a year now and its been nothing but a positive experience. Staff and doctors have been helpful, understanding, and have provided top notch care. This facility provides care for everything possible and if they cant fit you in they will refer you out to community care.
Only negative thing I can say is after the new system was in place messaging has become a little less effective. Hopefully that will get better after everyone gets better using it.

I have been to many inpatient psychiatric hospitals. This one was definitely one of the best. All the staff was extremely courteous and compassionate. Does not feel like a jail at all like other places. Reviews prior to 2025 obviously indicates a change in management and staff because everyone was exceptional. The therapist was awesome. And even charge nurse went out her way to ensure I was comfortable and could sleep during a difficult time. Thank you for treating me do nicely.

This is Tifanee and this is a good place to be in your struggling with. Both Addiction and mental health, No judgement from anyone the techs are all amazing, You also don’t need both to go with or addiction, or mental health or just one… you gotta want it for recovery to happen, sadly to say my boyfriend passed when I was at ridgeview and left to soon, 100% going back and do me, losing someone when you in a recovery can take a turn for the worse’s….
I gotta want it for recovery to work for me and I’m working thru things then plan on calling ridgeview, I gotta be 100… 10 stars for ridgeview.

I think this is my kids account but oh well. this is the best place for recovery. The front staff are so nice and they don't judge. They watch my son if he comes with me while I see the doc. but oh MAN Dr B is amazing. She has this office that is relaxing and cool, and she sees me. She really understands what my life has been like. I never had adoctor like her before. I wish she was my family doctor. She just makes it seem better when I tell her what is going on and how stressed out I am. Go to Clean Slate!
