Barely a three star rating. That's just manhandling a good doctor. The collective consciousness that we are born with just don't want to change. The unconscious we are born and raised with just don't want to change as old habits are difficult to change. Koduri saved my life as well as his entire staff. Don't be haters, don't be stubborn. Great Plains is one of the best. So, they deserve five stars just wished it could go beyond five stars. Great Plains are doctors and these doctors really know their jobs, they know what they're doing. I have confidence and trust in Great Plains. They even saved my mom and dad. I think a different place, I wouldn't be here today. Keyword...they saved my life more than once. So, give them the benefit of a doubt and trust them. Don't let your guts or inner voice judge them. Just trust them.

I was "committed" because I refused to go back into a deadly toxic apartment in Ogallala Housing Authority complex. ( See my google review, with pictures.). The whole town circled round the slumlord. I was denied any rights- no phone call, no lawyer, no social worker- zip. I did manage to obtain one of their precious "real pens" for about a week and made it out with it in my possession. They obviously don't realize the colored pencils could have been just as dangerous were one to intend harm. They withheld all of my "life saving" meds as well as my "quality of life" meds and a CPAP machine. (At the time I quit breathing 58 times an hour when sleeping.) After several days of this they came in with pills which I refused. I took them when they told me the sooner I cooperated the sooner I would be released. I did not believe that but took them not knowing what they would do if I did not. They had no intention of ever releasing me. When I finally did get released and saw my discharge paperwork, I discovered I had been "ruffied" or date raped. I had a competency hearing, a flu shot (I had had one of those already) and multiple interviews of which I have no memory of. They do feed you well, so if you are comfortable with this type of business, this might be the place for you. Otherwise, good luck.

Super unprofessional…My 5 yr old daughter was referred here by her school. We had an appointment set for 5pm on a Thursday. We arrive about 4:45 check in and sit in waiting area. At 5:20 after still not being seen I ask the receptionist if she knew about how much longer the wait would be…she said the doctor was finishing up with another patient and it shouldn’t be much longer. 5 minutes later a lady comes out and yells my daughters name. I told her that she had just went into the bathroom and that it would be just a minute. Her reply was “We can reschedule if needed.” I let her know my appointment was for 5 and not 5:25….she closed the door she was at, went to the receptionist desk and asked the lady to reschedule my appointment. Come to find out, this is the doctor acting unprofessional as hell. I can be made to sit and wait 25 minutes over my appointment time but she couldn’t have a little patience and give me daughter a few minutes in the bathroom? What a waste of someone’s time! Only giving one star because the receptionist was nice and gave me a number to get ahold of someone that deals with complaints. I definitely don’t recommend this racist person who calls themself a “doctor” ….

Commerce City, CO | Stout Street Foundation offers Serenity, a short term residential treatment program. They’re located in Commerce City, Colorado. Serenity is an intensive treatment program for substance use disorder and co-occurring (dual diagnosis) mental health disorders. Although Stout Street Foundation offers a long-term program, Serenity is their short prog | Treatments Programs Payment Options | Soooo here's the deal. This program is not easy. Well, Serenity was kinda easy (I did both of their programs). I hear they've changed some things in the long term program since I was there, but I'm sure it's still not easy, or fun. I went in March of 2020 after a series of unfortunate life choices including two DUIs and discovering my inability to get sober "on my own". I had burned every bridge with my friends and family, I was as down and out as they come. My probation officer said "jail or rehab" and when I read about Stout Street, I immediately knew deep down that it was what I needed, despite the mixed reviews. I completed the inpatient portion of the program (18 months). During my time there, I was forced to face myself in a way that I desperately needed. I COULD sit here and rage about the aspects of the program that were - arguably - too intense. But I'd much rather tell you this: Stout Street changed my life. Because of the "job" I was assigned while I was in the program as the Medical Clerk (during COVID too! It was wild!), I had the necessary experience that I needed to apply for and gain access to a job in the addiction treatment field, where I still work to this day. Must more importantly, Stout was the TIME OUT I needed from life. It is a truly precious thing to have a year and a half to work on yourself. No bullshit. To not stress about bills, bad relationships and people from your time in active addiction, and to just SHUT OFF THE NOISE - is a GIFT. I am so grateful that I went here because it was the beginning of a beautiful life that I am now really creating, day by day. Had I not gone to Stout Street, I would be dead or likely in ANOTHER crappy codependent relationship. I can proudly say that I've been single since I went in, and five years later my life is looking more promising and feeling more stable and fulfilling than I ever thought would be possible. I always thought I would die before 30. That was my trajectory. Until Stout picked me up and shook me HARD with the reality of life, showed me that I CAN stand on my own two feet, and gave me ~H O P E~. If you're looking for a cushy rehab where you get loads of free time, someone to sign off on the lies you tell yourself to keep getting high or drunk, quick tips, and comfort in recovery... Look somewhere else. This place right here will wake you up and teach you how to be uncomfortable. I can't even tell you how many people bounced out after a month or so. It takes guts to work through this program. It's worth every tear, every WC, every write up, and every tough confrontation. I am only now (5 years in the future lol) really seeing and reaping the benefits of my time here. The more time that goes on, the more tools that I find myself using to navigate life. Tools that I gained from Stout Street. The classes that they offer during your time are life-changing. I still do Inner Child work to this day, and I will do it until the day I die because it is the only thing that has helped me heal certain parts of myself from abuse and self-loathing. In all transparancy, I did not graduate the program. I had a relapse in the sober living phase of the program and ended up going to another facility briefly to get back on track. But my drive, my THIRST for self awareness and self love - those came from Stout Street. I am now an HONEST person because of this place. Sometimes you have to break down in order to rebuild, and this is a place where you can do that safely. A few staff members had an incredible impact on me, and now we're coming full circle and I'm working alongside them to help others find their way into recovery at the outpatient clinic where I work. I can't say thank you enough, Stout Street. I also can't say I haven't talked a LOT of shit on this program.... Because it was HARD. But the gifts they offer are undeniable. I love seeing my "brothers and sisters" from Stout out here thriving. It is truly incredible and if you really want to change your life, you should go here. Trust the process. If I could do it, so can you.

I can not say enough about how the team at Healing Pines saves lives and heals participants. My son spent 30 days at healing pines and returned as a sober, calm, insightful person able to converse in a healthy way. My son felt like he had taken sunglasses off and could now see light and joy in life. Paul, Cathy and all the counselors are amazing people who truly have a passion for helping the men in the program while they are onsite and after they return to their lives. WOW!!! > Healing Pines Recovery is truly something special. I’ve been through other programs before, but nothing compares to the level of care, knowledge, and compassion I experienced here. From day one, I felt like more than just another client — I was part of a small, supportive community where every person, staff and client alike, genuinely cares about your recovery.
Because of the small client number, there’s so much one-on-one time with counselors and staff. Each team member is incredibly knowledgeable in all aspects of recovery — many have walked this path themselves, which makes their insight and empathy feel real and grounded. The program isn’t “one size fits all” — it’s completely tailored to you, blending clinical therapy, spiritual work, and 12-step approaches in whatever way fits your journey best.
The property itself is breathtaking — 40 acres of peace, with trails that feel designed for sunrises and sunsets. The living spaces are comfortable and spacious, and you never feel cramped or overlooked. And then there are the animals — three miniature donkeys (Kiwi, Andy, and Quill!) who are genuinely therapeutic and always seem to know when you need a moment of quiet connection. Plus, a few amazing dogs and cats that add a comforting sense of home.
The curriculum is top-notch — both challenging and deeply healing. I especially loved the weekly music and art therapy sessions that gave us a creative way to process the tougher parts of recovery. Physical fitness is also a big focus here — we went to the gym five days a week, and Zach helped design personalized workout plans to rebuild strength and confidence. On top of that, there’s an indoor and outdoor pickleball court (yes, two!) and even a frisbee golf course, which we used for group therapy. There’s something powerful about talking through life while throwing a frisbee under the Colorado sky.
Evenings often ended with fireside chats — open, judgment-free conversations where we could just be ourselves, laugh, and remember what real connection feels like. For me, those moments redefined what it means to have fun and feel safe in sobriety.
What really sets Healing Pines apart, though, is the staff. Paul, the founder, has built an incredible team of people who radiate love, knowledge, and kindness. You can tell they’re here for the right reasons — their dedication and selflessness shine through in everything they do.
Healing Pines Recovery changed my life. If you’re questioning whether it’s the right fit for you, it probably is. Give Paul a call — and if you need to talk to someone who’s been there, tell him to pass along my number. This place is pure magic, and I’ll be forever grateful for what it gave me. 100/10!

Narconon Colorado is a facility that provides drug and alcohol addiction treatme | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I give my life to this place. I came here in July 2025. I was lost. I lost my family. I lost the ability to live in society. I’d spent most of my time behind bars the past couple years, drugs had taking everything from me! Coming to Narconon I learned how to accept a lot of the things that I’ve done, to the people I’d hurt and to myself. I gained the ability to move forward, to confront a lot of the issues and become myself again. The new live detoxification help get all the residual out of my body and give me a healthy start so that I can move forward in the next part of the course. The objective course taught me how to be patient to not act on old behavior but to truly be there and to confront all situations in my life! And last, but not least life skills gave me tools to further my recovery to live with conditions to understand that I was still liability. They gave me formulas to move forward in my life to have a better chance at succeeding in my recovery. This place has changed my life dramatically. I’ve received my family back. This place saved my best friend's life. Almost 2 years ago she decided to go to Narconon. It was the hardest decision she ever made and the hardest thing she has ever done. It changed her in ways she only prayed for. She has always been a fighter. But now, she is strong in such a way that she doesn't constantly need to fight. She faces everything head-on. She has a life she never thought was possible. She found herself here and she began to love herself. She found who she was always meant to be. She has a love for life she has never had. She is 22 months sober now and the happiest and more at peace than I have ever seen her.

I attended Valley Hope in O’Neill, NE from 9/23/25 to 10/24/25 for alcohol treatment, & had never been in treatment before. It was really hard for me to admit that I needed the help, but I am very happy that I went. The hardest part of treatment is walking through the door. Once I detoxed, I began attending workshops & meeting with counselors & my chaplain. You get out of this what you are willing to put into it. I learned quite a bit about my addiction, and gained tools to keep me sober in the future. Before I was discharged, the staff helped me develop an after care plan. They found an A.A. group close to me, & helped me contact a therapist. I found working with my counselor and my chaplain to be very helpful. I was able to reconnect with my faith during my stay as well. I found a great deal of peace in the on site chapel. I would highly recommend Valley Hope to anyone who is serious about getting sober and staying sober. I have also been able to stay in contact with some friends that I made while attending. It is wonderful having friends that have been through treatment, & have the same goal of staying sober.

This place is the best thing since Color Television! 😁 Seriously though, this place in and of itself.. was a contributing factor to which saved my life in the sense that when I knew ‘I was done’.. I had the BEST support & amazing championing from some amazing people sharing a common goal of maintaining their sobriety while putting their focus on their physical wellbeing and self esteem in their bodies and minds rather than just the ‘mumbo-jumbo’ of traditional, socially-conditioned methods of recovery in addiction and, having said being championed; I’d like to pay a respectable nod to a specific person, Carson.. whom by all accounts went out of the ordinary to see me thru a rather unorthodox necessity for assistance at a time when I was on the right path, yet.. just simply needed a hand-up and a simple ‘break’ and was obliged to help make a difference in my path and how I launched into my life of recovery and fitness! As a result of continuity and perseverance in this said path.. I now have the privilege and utmost pleasure of saying I’m a volunteer & will be soon be of service to the community within, and look forward to continuing my journey in my own recovery and the journey of others in their journey of growth and success within their lives as they pursue their fitness goals and aspirations as well! I had the opportunity to help with some service work and lent my time to clean some of the workout equipment, specifically the medicine balls, to which are highly utilized by many, and after approximately 32 hours of deep cleaning.. many more are using this equipment more often as they look brand new now! You can see the picture attached! ENJOY USING THE EQUIPMENT WHEN YOU COME IN TO WORKOUT 🏋️♂️ & MAY YOUR BODIES BE WELL & WITH YOU!

I want to start this review by acknowledging that recovery from mental health issues, trauma and addiction is HARD. There is no one place that will be a good fit for everybody and no place will work until the client wants to change and is ready to do the very difficult work required for healing. We stumbled upon the Rose House when we had almost lost all hope for our 18 year old daughter. She had been in and out of various mental health facilities and rehab facilities but nothing worked. She was an addict but if she checked into a rehab facility the trauma she had experienced caused her to go into a fight or flight response. She acted out verbally and by self harming. Although they would claim to be a dual diagnosis center, they would always call us within a day or so and tell us they didn't have the type of facilities to help her. If we tried to get her residential mental health help we were told there was no such place. She could only be put on a 72 hour hold if she was a danger to herself or others. Our daughter's addiction began when a couple of men lured her into their trafficking scheme. She was 14 and they paid her a lot of attention. In her mind one of them was her boyfriend and she felt flattered that an older man would want her. They started giving her drugs in exchange for sex. Soon she needed the drugs to stop the feeling of guilt and disgust she felt from what was happening to her. When she finally said no to one of them he physically and forcibly raped her. I wish we had understood earlier what was going on. (This man is now serving 97 years in a Colorado prison)
We walked into the Rose House and took a tour at her lowest point. She agreed to look at the Rose House but wasn't committing to going. After the tour we sat in Alison's office and I asked her if she thought the Rose House could help my daughter. Alison said if she is willing to come she is exactly who we help. My daughter said no one can help me I'm broken.
My daughter checked herself in a few weeks later after being arrested for a DV situation and a high speed chase with the police. She spent a night in jail and realized she did not want to spend another one there. She had a court hearing. Alison met us there to support her and then took her to the Rose House. We couldn't speak to her for 2 weeks during the settling in period. Once we could communicate with her we saw growth every time we spoke or saw her. I asked her what was different this time. Her answer was 1. I'm ready for help and 2. the staff knows what they are doing and I know they care about me.
I don't want to paint the wrong picture, recovery is never a straight line and it doesn't always happen in a set period of time. I was glad that the Rose House worked towards goals and that's what drove moving to the next step - not a set number of days on a calendar. They were also there on the tough days. Setting boundaries when needed, treating clients with respect and always showing compassion and consistency.
The other thing that is different about the Rose House is that they really believe that the healing of the client's family is important and do a lot of work towards that with the weekly family zoom meeting and the family weekend. We learn that we can not control the decisions of our loved ones but we can set boundaries for ourselves. We can support them in their recovery but we can't do it for them.
Our daughter graduated from the program and spent some time in the step down program. She is now 19, just received her 6 months chip for being clean and sober and is holding a fulltime job. She continues going to meetings almost everyday and is working with her own therapist to continue the work that was started in the Rose House.
I honestly believe that if we hadn't found the Rose House she would be dead now. Instead I get to hug her everyday and get to see the wonderful woman she is becoming.
The Rose House and it's staff have our undying gratitude.

I was told it was my last class one day and then charged for the classes I missed after because supposedly I had missed one that I needed to remake and had to pay for them still and then was discharged it was around my kids birthday too so I was left with almost no money I had to pay like 175 in classes that I couldn't even take. It was a good facility I was there for 55 days and now I'm in a sober living. The place is nice and you can get a lot of tools to take with when you leave. Idk but it seems like a lot of the younger patience are there on their 10th plus time they treated like a summer get away or something it's crazy how many people are in there that's been there a number of amount of times they all knew each other not to think I'm better then anyone but they leave and they come right back it must be the good food haha I would recommend this place anyone trying to go to a rehab. Staff are nice all the nurses are pretty cool

I was attended by a young lady named Abby. First of all, when she came out to the waiting area to get me she spoke in a voice loud enough for me to hear. She is the first person in any VA Audiology clinic I've met that has done so. I would think that in Audiology it would be a routine thing to speak in a louder voice. Sadly, it's not.
Abby was quite competent and the fitting went very well.
As for the VAMC itself, it's nice enough.

I feel like after seeing all of the one star reviews, it's my responsibility to share my experience. I have not posted a public review until this point because of the stigma of having mental health issues, but if it helps someone choose to get the help they need, it's worth it.
Denver Springs positively improved my quality of life, twice. I have always felt cared for on a personal level, I have learned coping skills unique to my diagnosis, and the therapists and nurses are highly skilled.
Please remember, to be successful at someplace like Denver Springs, you get out of it what you put into it. If you do the bare minimum in therapy or don't dig deep into what's causing certain behaviors you can't expect to improve. DS gave me so many skills, in a safe and positive environment. I am forever grateful.

They Canceled my VA dermatology appointment since October of last year. I went into the office today after my last cancelation and then they stated it was because of the patient. Your scheduling team knows they are wrong for that. I know know what's going on with their scheduling here but its not right and they aren't servicing veterans. No one can give me answers, no one knows anything. I am tired of going up there but will continue. The design of the building is just as bad.... this place needs to be revamped in their scheduling department. All of the staff their is nice but that scheduling department is trash.

After this post the scheduling seem to finally get me in with Dermatology. I am not on track with treatment.

I took their alcohol education class back in 2019 and had no issues other than the obvious money grubbing. All the way in 2024, I am finally able to submit all of my paper work to reinstate my license and after ~5 years of working and waiting and jumping through all of these hoops for this moment, Choices decided to forget CRUCIAL/BASIC information needed on my discharge form. I thought a simple phone call would fix the situation but after I was finally able to reach someone, they had zero capability of aiding me aside from "wait until Saturday". After seeing all of these other 1 star reviews, I didn't expect anything less than another hassle. I'm sure there are better run/more well organized organizations out there.

You can do better than this. You have to demand a receipt because if not then they add extra charges. They lie and say they will forgive a class then they go back 2 weeks later and charge you for the class. I paid for a book that I never opened. Just another way for people to profit off others crimes. Kam the original owner is a scam artist. Go to bts or anywhere else. I promise you it will be nothing but trouble. Avg course is 435. I ended up paying over 550.00 for these classes.
