I spent an entire month at the Cambridge house while undergoing Partial Hospitalized Program (PHP) therapy. It was truly a great experience. The home is awesome, well-kept, and taken care of by both Howard as well as Abbie. They truly are both wonderful. The other housemates are respectful and supportive of each other and everyone gets along very well. Everyone was extremely helpful in in supporting me get to where I where I needed to go and accommodated my every ask. If someone is looking for a sober living opportunity, I highly recommend the Cambridge house.

I have been in and out of recovery for many years including sober living facilities. Cambridge Recovery Sober Living far exceeds all of my past experiences. The living environment is very comfortable with all upscale amenities. Howard and Abbie, Owner and House Director, respectively, are extremely supportive and compassionate to my recovery needs ensuring success in my current sobriety. They encourage full participation in meetings and completion of external sober functions which in my case was an Intensive Outpatient Program. Controls are in place to ensure I stay free of substances which would negatively impact my recovery. I will recommend Cambridge Recovery Sober Living to anyone I encounter who is in a situation similar to mine. It is comforting to be in an environment in this stage of my sobriety where I am accountable for my actions and cared for with such professionalism.

The staff at Cambridge Recovery takes individual care to another level by creating individual plans for each resident. The staff meets regularly with residents to assess their state of mind, check how their recovery is going, and point out areas in which to improve. The folks at Cambridge Recovery are now true friends that I know I can count on if an emergency comes up.

I don t usually write reviews but I was at Alina Lodge for five and a half months. I did the extended guest program and I can honestly say that every part of this program is the reason I will have 10 months of sobriety in a few days. Alina accepted me when I was very resistant to treatment, trying to lock myself in my room for days and refusing to engage in treatment. The staff held such patience and love for me, and when I finally became willing and listened, the message provided to me helped me begin my journey through recovery. (Plus the food is so incredible I won t lie)

If it wasn’t for Jesus Christ I would not be sober today. He receives all the credit for my rest, peace, restoration, rehabilitation, recovery and sobriety. I credit MM with convincing me to enter recovery. When I second guessed attending MM, from director down to intake coordinators they shared the benefits and advantages of the programs. I especially thank Irma for her encouraging personality and experience in the real world. The intake staff played a big role in getting me out of Michigan; where I felt unsafe and incapable of defeating the disease of alcohol and addiction. They called me 2-4 times a day, 7 days a week, for 1 month. They didn’t know me, but it felt as if they did. I finally had a friend or somewhat like a loved one that actually care about me living.
Two therapist stood out to me; Meagan and Jesse! They were amazing. They obviously put not only their minds to their clinical groups, but they pour their energy and hearts into their therapy. I truly wish that one of them was my personal therapist while I was in the program. Jesse mastered bring clients/patients together. Meagan was unbelievable, her therapy and meditation tactics enhanced my relationship with Christ. It allowed me to focus in on my praying, conversational skills, praise and listening skills with Christ personally. In 2022, my father died and under the influence of my disease, I decided to not complete my MA in CMHC although I was only four classes away. Meagan’s expertise and compassion has changed my mind. I’m going to finish my Masters!!!!

I also enjoyed specific staff members whom compassion and care was beyond genuine. Those staff members were two different Dans, Olivia, Victoria, Bill, Nick and Maryam.
The highlight of my experience at MM were MY PEOPLE! Those who were just like me. Race didn’t matter, gender was no factor, and we all were blinded to anyone’s lifestyle preferences. We loved each other, taught each other, hugged each other, shared together, and encouraged one another. We all shared the same desire to be free. Not just free of addiction, but free in life alone. I encouraged everyone in my path to hate! Yes, I said it, “Hate”! I encouraged to hate drugs and alcohol. And I also loudly and proudly shared the name of my Higher Power. I will once again, if your searching for a Higher Power, I like to recommend mine. His name is Jesus! He has freed me in life.
If you are ready for a new journey of sobriety, I strongly recommend MM of Randolph, NJ. This facility may require you to detox first, and two hours away I had an even greater experience at Enlightened Recovery located in Atlantic City, NJ.

The most compassionate staff members I ve ever come across. I was induced and the staff tried their best to ensure it was a vaginal delivery. The team of nurses, residents and my OBGYN, Dr. Green were phenomenal. Dr. Green is kind and very good at explaining what they re doing, I was instantly calm when I found out she was going to deliver our child. I was also impressed with Dr. Sun who gave me my epidural, I didn t feel much because he numbed the area and was so kind and considerate which helped me feel relaxed. Nurse Jazmin has a great hand when it comes to administering IVs, Nurse Angela and Nurse Samantha were great supports during push time and gave me great tips to help push the baby out fast and safely.My husband treated the entire L&D and Postpartum staff to food as a way of thanking them for looking after his baby and wife.Some general observations: the hospital has restaurant quality food, the delivery rooms are huge and recovery rooms are very comfortable. By far the best place around. If your serious about your recovery, this is the place. It s not just all about the medication, it s about the staff as well. My counselor, Sharece T saved my life. She goes above and beyond the call of duty and treats people as an individual, not a group, because we re all different. She really took the time to get to know me and get to the root of the problem and checks up regularly to see if everything s going well. I ve been to many places, doctors, meetings and rehabs. No one has ever understood me better, witch is very important in recovery so you can be treated accordingly. I finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. This is a throwaway account for my own privacy. I did the PHP and IOP program at GenPsych in Livingston after I got out of the hospital. I am indebted to the staff, counselors, and fellow clients. I was at my lowest point and am able to say now that I am the healthiest I've ever been, and it's in part because of this program. One drawback I noticed is that they did have high turnover while I was there and seemed to have a lot of newer counselors who were not as experienced, but the DBT program is something that can be administered by anyone. If you're hesitating about doing this, I'd recommend it.

So I attended the intensive outpatient DBT program here for several months, and it was a challenging, emotional and also wonderful, rewarding experience. My therapist, Kayla, was incredible - very relatable and down-to-earth, compassionate and yet still held me accountable. The front desk staff and other DBT session leaders were great too - shout-out to Provi! If you've made it this far into my review and are debating whether or not to try the DBT program: DO IT. Commit, do the homework, participate in the groups, and it will be the first (big) step towards a better life.

Excel and Milestone was a really good experience for me to start my sobriety journey. They provided excellent treatment and the counselors were very personable; gave great suggestions and advice. On the residence side of things it was really smooth, food was provided, good room and housemates. The staff were very helpful and also great to talk to as well. Felt like I was treated as family here as soon as I walked in. Rehab is what you make of it, and some are looking to do the deal while others are not, it s important to stick close with the people who are really trying to get this thing. Only thing I will say is aftercare treatment is basically nonexistent here, no contacts from alumni since I left, if you have mail at the PHP house they won t tell you, they just throw it out. Basically if you don t go to their sober living you feel like ties are cut. Everything here was great just wish they did more for people who leave and decide to go somewhere else.

I live in Morristown & after I had my yearly mammogram, I needed a call back for a second mammogram & ultrasound. Unfortunately, I was then told on 1/24 that I needed a biopsy & the first appointment I could get at the Carol Simon Breast Center was a month later on 2/24. I told them that that was unacceptable & that I wasn t going to wait. I then found Chilton Medical Center & I was able to get my biopsy 6 days later 1/30, meet with my surgeon on 2/7, & was operated on 2/27/25, 3 days after what MMC offered as their first open appointment. My entire experience was 180 from the stressful, impersonal, over-grown hospital city of Morristown Medical Center. Chilton is the way Morristown used to be when it was known as Morristown Memorial Hospital small, personal, stress free, great doctors & staff, the free parking is right in front of the Collins Pavilion Cancer Treatment Center Building. No one ever wants cancer on their Bingo card, but my entire experience has been a positive one, thanks to my fantastic doctors & staff at Chilton. I believe my ability to get immediate treatment, instead of having to wait a month just to have a biopsy, made a huge difference & why I am now cancer free. I will be starting my radiation treatment & oncology care at Chilton, too. I will always think of Chilton Medical Center as my hospital of choice. I highly recommend anyone who is fed up with & overwhelmed by the experience patients get at Morristown Medical Center, try Chilton Medical Center it s a well kept secret worth trying.

I have been to the ED on several occasions recently and I have to say the entire team has been excellent. From the triage nurses, diagnostic imaging, techs, transport, etc., they all have been professional, respectable and caring. I have seen PA Stansfield on several of my visits and his bedside manner is unremarkable. He is calming, caring, compassionate and most of all understanding. I would recommend this facility.

I don't understand the negative reviews for this place. We found getting registered and placed with someone easy and accommodating. Kelly is AMAZING! I have not had positive experiences in the past with therapists, but she is the absolute best. She's "real," she listens, she is amazing at planning a session but also pivoting if necessary. The staff at MCAC is exceptional. From the intake process to the regular meetings with counselors, everyone is incredibly supportive and knowledgeable. The clinic s counselors truly listen and work with patients to create individualized treatment plans. They are always available for guidance, and genuinely care about their patients progress. The nurses and medical staff ensure that dosing is properly managed, safely administered and adequate to sustain recovery. The medical staff is thorough and they check- in to monitor health and progress. This place changed my life. I have spent the last 10 years rotating different treatment centers and nothing had a more profound and permanent impact on my recovery than water gap.
From every aspect their treatment and experience is the best in class. A lot of the staff / psychiatrists have experienced addiction or mental health challenges in some capacity and to be supported in my recovery process by others who have REAL, lived experience and aren't just college educated / textbook informed academics trying to cure people of problems and challenges they can't relate to or understand from within is just one component of what makes Watergap so unique and so effective. The staff are not only extremely experienced and knowledgeable, but they have a perspective on recovery and healing that you can share and relate to with them, I think this also contributes to how caring the staff are, they really all take such a personal and deep interest in your recovery vs this just being a way to pay the bills and put their degree to use (which I have seen at many places).
Beyond the staff and recovery approach being incredible and also unique, the grounds are absolutely stunning with world class amenities. The natural beauty surrounding the facility allows your mind and soul to really connect with nature in the healing process and there are also such a wide range of amenities it feels like being at a luxury resort. From a massage/spa room, hiking in the beautiful Poconos mountains, group yoga and meditation, themed dinner nights, a glass sun room for yoga sessions, a beautiful golf course, daily hikes, a swimming pool - there are endless ways at Watergate to stay constantly entertained, distracted, challenged and inspired.
