I have been here since October 17, 2025 and my experience has been very good since I first got here. The house is very clean and helps to have cleaning service every other week. I was only planning on stay in for 2 months but now I don't have plans to leave anytime soon.
I have lived in a halfway in Del Ray Beach, F.L. a sober cowboy ranch in Washington State, Oxford Houses including one in Rumson, NJ and this is my favorite sober living so far.
It also helps to have a good crew of men that I currently live with. Having two TV rooms, high-end kitchen, high-end W/D, and being tucked away on a side street of nice neighborhood make this experience a worthwhile one during my early recovery.

My experience at Cambridge Recovery has been exceptional. The house as a whole flows and there’s just a good energy about the place, it’s clean, relaxing, nice beds, and a safe place in a nice quiet neighborhood. Cambridge Recovery Sober Living is beautiful, it’s a step above traditional sober living environments. The individuals who live at Cambridge want to be sober and change their lives for the positive, that was a huge decided factor for why I chose this house. Big shoutout to Abbie and Howard for the opportunity to embark on this new sobriety journey of mine and their ongoing support and guidance during this transition period of my life. Thank you for all that you do and helping me when I was broken lost and needed guidance. I’ll certainly be paying it forward. If you want to be sober surrounded around a bunch of guys chasing the same goal, this is the place you want to be.

Best sober living in NJ. Really nice, spacious, comfortable home (that’s an actual photo in the profile) in a quiet, safe, classy neighborhood with easy access to main thoroughfares/highways. Residents get relatively more freedom than their peers at other sober homes, but while still getting all the support they want/need. There are rules to follow of course, like regular testing to ensure sobriety, but for the most part it’s not a universal set of restrictions, but rather a unique system of support/care tailored to each individual. The case manager, Abbie, is on site M-F, is a wonderful person, and will literally help you with anything. Also, a great perk is free dinner that you order everyday, included with the reasonably priced rent. Finally, Howard (owner) & the aforementioned Abbie are just incredible people, a delight to be around & get to know, and are genuinely invested in each & every resident’s success in all facets of life.

Moving Mountains exceeded every expectation I had for a treatment center. The team was amazing. They were compassionate, patient, and deeply committed to helping every person succeed. Sunrise cherry hill was a godsend. The nurse Sydney is absolutely the sweetest person you'll ever meet. I went there over a year ago and and she remembered me and made sure my stay there was comfortable. Unfortunately I've stayed at quite a few other facilities and NEVER was treated with such respect and kindness that she treated me with. She deserves a raise lol!
On the other hand..I made a very good friend in my time staying there..we kept in touch and we were both struggling. I was trying to be a good girlfriend and put my own health aside waiting waiting for him. I now know know that I need further assistance than just detox . He's not even. Being a decent human being/and/or being nice about it. I tried called the Sterling location 5 times where my friend is. She told me there is in IN FACT beds available but the person on the phone wasnt so friendly..almost demeaning. He said "just because there's beds available doesn't mean there's beds available". I was very confused...almost like he didn't want to help me save my life. And he was just annoyed to be answering the phone. He told me over and over in an annoyed and stern voice as I was in tears to call back at 9am. Im just lucky im not someone who is WAY more fragile and sensitive amd nothing terrible happened 🥺

My Mom was brought there with an aneurysm at the end of October, and even though she didn't make it, I would like to say thank you to every person there. From Doctor to Nurse to orderly or any other employee walking in the hallway that was polite, helpful, informative, you really helped our transition be a little less painful. My daughter had a wonderful experience at the Breast Center! The nurse Renee T. was very compassionate and held my daughter's hand with reassurance and care. I had such a wonderful experience during my labor and delivery stay at Morristown Medical. From the moment I arrived at the admission desk to the incredible care I received from every nurse, pediatric doctor, OBGYN, tech, nursery staff member, and even housekeeping—everyone was exceptionally kind, accommodating, and supportive across both day and night shifts. We delivered our baby on a very busy night, yet our entire stay was absolutely perfect. By far the best place around. If your serious about your recovery, this is the place. It’s not just all about the medication, it’s about the staff as well. My counselor, Sharece T saved my life. She goes above and beyond the call of duty and treats people as an individual, not a group, because we’re all different. She really took the time to get to know me and get to the root of the problem and checks up regularly to see if everything’s going well. I’ve been to many places, doctors, meetings and rehabs. No one has ever understood me better, witch is very important in recovery so you can be treated accordingly. I finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. I’m extremely grateful and blessed for my counselor Sharece. A huge thanks to this organization and most importantly, my counselor.

Phenomenal organization that truly cares about its patients recovery and were so helpful in my daughter's treatment, she is better off now from where she was when she first went in. Its been 3 weeks since I completed the 28 day program on (August 5, 2025) at Alina Lodge . From the moment I arrived (July 8, 2025)I felt comfortable and safe. THIS PLACE NOT ONLY SAVED MY LIFE IT ALSO BROUGHT LIFE BACK TO ME MENTALLY EMOTIONALLY AND PHYSICALLY! The program they have is great and I learned more and more about addiction but even more so about myself. The staff there are great , kind, loving amd compassionate. They are there to help and as long as you ask for that help you will get it . The environment was amazing given the space and time to recover and reflect on each group session. My favorite spot to sit and reflect was in the gazebo close the the river . The food was great each meal was also good and filling. Now at 48 days clean today 8/25/2025 i feel so great my life has improved dramatically! Thanks to the wrok i put it and the structure of Alina Lodge!!! I love you guys and thank you for helping me regain traction in my life I will be forever grateful!

We have been clients of CAT for about 9 years. Our journey was so difficult to comprehend in the beginning but the staff at CAT are truly the best around. We had tried several places before this and once we landed here, we felt safe, comfortable and understood. The staff are amazing, kind and professional. I must start the review with giving honor to God, for God ordered my steps here to Good News Home for Woman, here I found a reconnect with God. In the program you find out a lot about yourself and the traumas that caused you to make some horrible choices. You also find out ways to deal with real life issues. I would highly recommend Summit Behavioral Group to anyone seeking a stepping stone for their journey in recovery. The therapists and groups provided me with the necessary foundation I needed to start my recovery. I particularly looked forward to groups led by Ashley, the Alumni Coordinator, she was relatable and allowed us to feel comfortable sharing about ourselves. I'm currently in mental health groups also ,therapy sessions there at the Denville ,Nj location ;and I can say that the staff in the wellness office are very professional and polite and helpful in any information or concerns I ask or have. The therapist there is awesome and understanding, but he recently left to a other job besides that I forgot to mention it's a no judgment zone at groups.I will continue to update this in future post to see if feel the same.
Update things are still going well ,but the downside about the place is sometimes the communication about transportation( pick ups ) are especially unpredictable may forget to pick you up sometimes because of lack of drivers or communication/weather ;and sometimes group's time are changing every month and people leave for vacation or which jobs. My old therapist move to a different job so they replaced me with someone else. I'm still attending my mental health groups and I see a psychiatrist for my medication. I will update you guys soon take care always.

Went to cpc for one on one addiction counseling. My counseler Michael Teti was wonderful. Until I was coerced into bringing my psychiatric medication management over to CPC. In conjunction with my talk therapy. I foolishly took an appointment with the Nurse practitioner Julie. Julie started off saying everything would stay exactly the same as my old provider. Which was not the case. I was pressured into signing a release to my old provider for cpc. Julie immediately called my old provider. This caused my old provider to discontinue medications that were working for me. On my second visit with Julie. She completely flipped the script. Said she would not be providing you with the same medication as my old provider. Took medications away from me that were working well. Don’t let her nice demeanor fool you. She is a liar and completely fake. Do not believe a word she says. She’s a hack and a manipulator

Was here many years ago this place was amazing compared to other mommy and me places. Yes some staff not so good but overall this place looking back was the safest I ever felt. The facility more home like than other facilities. At the end of the day wherever you go you take yourself with you. It's up to you what you do with the assistance and help you are provided with.
