I graduated on June 18th 2025. Yes the program is tough & many don't understand the process of all the rules but sometimes tough love and structure is needed. The staff are amazing people who really do care. They represent love and you see God working through them to help all the ladies! It's not an easy job or calling but God uses them to transform life's. Most of these life's are in some type of trouble or turmoil! I came into the program completely defeated I was very bad on drugs with no hope and just empty inside I knew I had to change or I was going to die or be in prison and never be apart of my kids life. Since being at Freedom House I’m no longer bound by addiction and I’m able to be a positive safe mom for my children and since completing the program I stayed to serve at Freedom House as an intern and God has truly changed my life and my destination here! This program is the best place if you want to truly be set free! ✝️

I was a student at Freedom House almost 5 years ago , and I returned to do restoration after completion. Freedom House saved my life. The Holy Spirit is in that house. There is peace unspeakable there and true love from the staff. I learned how to become a women after God's own heart while I was there. I will never forget my time at Freedom House Adult and Teen Challenge.

Its been 5 years since I was a patient here, but my experience was very impactful and I wanted to share now that im an adult. Also want to note my younger sister has been in recent years and shares my positive experiences. Growing up I went inpatient a lot and was very troubled, I felt hopeless and scared. The Calm Center does not just slap a label on kids and teens like some other facilities in the area, the staff are understanding, patient and compassionate people who are relatable in many ways and teach actual coping skills that help in day to day life. I believe forgive me if I get names wrong but Mr. Corey does groups that I still think about to this day that taught me lessons and helped me see different perspectives. Mr. Jimmy and one of the Therapists Spencer were also very kind to me and helped me realize that there are safe, kind, and caring men in the world. Growing up I had a very complicated relationship with my father, and I had talked a bit about that when I was there. Nearly every day I smile or sometimes cry when I recall that at my leaving ceremony Mr. Jimmy told me that any man should be proud to have me as a daughter, I wish I could express how much that has impacted and healed me. Thank you guys for all you do for the youth of Tulsa and beyond!

It's a good place to come and detox and residential treatment for drugs and alcohol. The Treatment team counselors therapists all the staff are one of a kind there friendly nice and they care so much about you and will not sugar coat nothing for you but keep it all the way real. The food beds living spaces the group rooms the activitys are 💯 I highly recommend this place

I came in to this facility in a very bad head space, and I’m the kind of “client” who creates issues at times. However this facility was very accommodating and beyond helpful. From the case managers, the class facilitators, therapists and providers (doctors and nurses alike) they ALL gave me their best effort and turned my depression into an actual chance for another day sober tomorrow. I would absolutely recommend this place to my closest friends and family.

Absolutely wonderful experience with Leslie Hughes and her nurse (cannot remember her name im sorry) very thoughtful, thorough, warm, professional. The woman who did my labs also was awesome. Thank you! I need to add that Redbird dental clinic is absolutely wonderful. Dr. Beavers and also the dentist i usually see (young woman with red hair) are so professional and kind and extremely good at what they do. I haven't been here yet but I know people that have, I'm currently homeless in Norman, Oklahoma and have been for many years, I am trying to build up the confidence to push myself into doing something like this cause I have a 14 year old daughter that means the world to me, and being out here over a long period of time has really driven my confidence into the ground. Reading comments from people really help, I pray that soon I'll have enough confidence to go do this or something like this, I'm just wanting to make sure I don't have to come back to this way of living cause I'm afraid of what it's going to do "mentally." All the staff are super caring and very respectful they make sure that we are feeling ok and they do not try to push anything on you they let you make the decision on if you want your dose highered or lowered. I was so excited to finally get to use the H.O.W. Foundation to help us move! They sent out a crew of 5 guys who worked hard and were incredibly friendly. They loved on our dogs, too. (That’s a big deal to me lol) They even helped us take apart some furniture and put it back together. We had a pile of donation stuff in the garage of the rental house and they let me know the H.O.W foundation could come pick it up for us instead of us taking it somewhere and dropping it off. I forgot to call and schedule that until this week (we have to turn in keys on Saturday), and the thrift store guys were so accommodating. We just had to have the stuff boxed up, labeled and outside so they can grab it. We didn’t even have to be there. They called me when they were 15 mins out and called me to let me know they picked it up. I’m so glad I was able to use their services with this move. Their program is something that hits home for me, and seeing these guys work hard to get sober and not let their addiction define them really made me so proud for them! I will be supporting the H.O.W foundation any way I can!

I took my grandson H S & K today for counciling. He has some anger issues, responsibility problems and a few other personality quirks (normal teenager) that has gotten him into trouble. This was his 2nd visit and so far he seems to be okay with it. I don't get to go with him but I understand that. I believe his parents are on the right track.

They worked with me when i first started coming here 9 months ago with my meds and they didn't even have to!! They are always quick to help with any issues rather issues transportation or payments even mental health services. I have been fortunate to have a great therapist to help me work through my problems and hold me accountable. With Thanksgiving coming up, it made me think about last year.How they took their own time and money to make a dinner for all the patients. It was many of their only dinner for thanksgiving and I really saw the joy on their faces. It truly shows how much they care and how far they will go to help. I wanna thank them very much!!
