Reading the reviews, alot of people has spoken great about this program. I would like to know with those who are new admissions, in the enrolling process that don't have transportation and stay in BaltimoreCity and would like to only attend the Hagerstown location does TruHealingHagerstown supply those people with transportation or they have to find their own way of transportation there? Also, I would like to know about the employment availability in Hagerstown? Once there will I be able to find employment? Do TruHealingHagerstown has connections or information of employers willing to hire those who want to work or there is a amount of time that has to completed without error or replased in the TruHealingHagerstown before you are even able to work?

Ok so at first I gotta admit it was probably the hardest thing I’ve done but by the grace of god and all the amazing people at tru healing who helped me through it everyday I did it. Not only did I complete the 30 day program I met some of the most amazing people I have ever met. Starting with the counselors and case managers, my counselor Ms Mo she is tough but the most helpful and supportive person and I needed your toughness and more importantly she knew I needed that as well and for that I thank her and Mrs bam omg she is the sweetest person ever and helped me everytime and always was there when I needed to talk which was a lot and for that thank you so much. Now another person who was so kind and amazing to me and to everyone was Nate he is an amazing person and such an inspiration thank you so much Nate. Also ms Joyce she was so sweet and always made me laugh all the time and Sarah she is the sweetest kindest person thank you ms Sarah for everything your an inspiration.

I have been going to this clinic for 9 years, and have always been treated very well— like I hope all Veterans would be. When I sit in the waiting room before an appointment, I’ve always gotten a positive vibe about how the other Veterans are treated. The Audiologist, Dr Doepping, is excellent: technically savvy, and very concerned about her patients (I’m friends with several of her other patients, and we all agree on this). This is a model health care clinic.

My experience with Hoffman Homes has left me deeply grateful that we have such a remarkable, although not well-known, organization in our community. I am privileged to have served on the Board of Directors for the past six years. Hoffman Homes offers a variety of programs for healing and a fully accredited school.
The Residential Treatment Program gives children who have suffered extreme trauma an opportunity to develop skills that can help them cope with their past and look forward to a brighter future. The Therapeutic Shelter Program houses and supports children in custody of the state or county children’s services. The Transitional Living Program gives girls aged 16-21 support and assistance to develop the life-skills needed to transition to independent living. In addition to traditional therapeutic methods, art, drama, and animal (including equine) therapies are available to the children at Hoffman. The recently added Outpatient Clinic offers support to individuals of any age, as well as group and family therapy. The Hoffman Academy is an accredited school, licensed by the state, that provides academic instruction and emotional support for children K-12 who reside at Hoffman and for children from the community. The Academy uses positive reinforcement and trauma-informed restorative practices.

Having beenfamiliar and a supporter of Hoffman Homes through the former Penn West Conference of the United Church of Christ, for nearly 22 years now; my first comment when someone inquires about the organization, is that they do amazing work, and offer much needed resources. Over the past year I have become even more aware of the dedication, compassion, and informed care that is afforded to all who pass through the organization. I am looking forward to what the future brings as services are expanded and futher opportunities for meaningful engagement with youth continue to expand

Now that I've been going to this particular location for going on 6 years... (Will be 6 years this November 2O25)... I've had time to process a whole lot. The counselors are very caring. They're really helpful and kind. They want to see you do well. The nurses are super friendly. So are the doctors. As far as wait times, well, TBH, that all depends on what time you get there during the morning. Like me for example. I go daily now and I try to go before 6am, if I get there before 6am, and I don't have a UA, I'm usually in and out in about 5-10 minutes. In my opinion, this is one of the better clinics in the Hagerstown area. They all want to see you do good and stay clean and sober for the rest of your life. Not saying you'll have to be here that long, but, just enough to get stable to where you feel safe and comfortable with yourself. I also wanted to say that I've had about 4 or 5 counselors since I've been going there and IDK why the counselors keep leaving or getting let go. The one I have now, she seems pretty nice. Also, FYI: As of June 1st 2024, their hours will be changing. The cutoff time for dosing will now be 12 Noon, instead of 1pm. I think it's because of the lack of counselors and nursing staff. It would normally be a 5/5, but things have REALLY changed. Physicals every 3 months, I don't understand why...and they have a HUGE turnover of nurses and counselors. I'm telling y'all what, if Mary goes, idk how much longer everyone will stay. Mary is the best!

Ok so I can't speak on what other people had to deal with while being here but honestly I loved it. They tried so hard to help me. I went between the years of 2010 and 2013. I recall a lot of the staff and my favorites mostly nicknames were "B-new" and Mr. Kulp. I was one of the 100s of troubled children here and really loved the horse barn. I still remember the staff I had I was up there earlier today because my dad lives in the retirement community right before it so much has changed over the years. It looks completely different from when it did in the 90s the retirement community was not there then. The horse barn is still there. My brother Doug Fraley came in the emergency room in fairly bad shape. When got there, they took him right back for a battery of tests. They needed to get his blood pressure under control and Rachel did figure out what he needed. She was a "STAR" nurse! This program saved my life. I am forever grateful and truly blessed to have been able to come to this program. I have been in many inpatient and outpatient programs over many years in Florida and Maryland- This program gave me structure, balance, cared for ALL of my basic human needs, taught me how to help myself, gave me hope, taught me how to have faith, learned to love myself, be accountable, allowed me to choose what type of network /self help group would work for me, then took a chance on allowing ME to be apart of another incentive type program so I could continue to serve others here at Gail Recovery/ Wells Inc. At some point I have to close this review, But honestly I could go on for pages because with out them- I would have been long gone, or lost. The hardest part was reaching out and asking someone to help me.

Hagerstown, MD | Catoctin Counseling Center - East Washington Street offers outpatient treatment for individuals with alcohol and/or substance addiction. The program includes couples therapy, individual counseling, assessment and more. Catoctin Counseling Center - East Washington Street is located at Hagerstown, Maryland. Catoctin Counseling Center – East Was | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I attended WMCS from 2020-2026 and I thoroughly appreciate everything this office has done for my mental wellbeing over the years. I had previously given up on therapy, and thought I could manage on my own, but having support behind me was so much better. Adam Fogle has met with me once every week for almost 6 years and has truly supported me from the bottom. I was in a pretty rough place when we met, but it wasn’t something he hasn’t seen before. I never felt judged. I was always heard. I had a logical, sensible human being to talk to about anything I wanted. Work, school, friends, family, events, the good stuff, the bad stuff.. He helped me sort through so many of life’s regular challenges that felt nearly impossible before. I’ve done a lot of work on myself personally, but I have to give credit to the guy who taught me so much just from our conversations. I learned how to hold myself more accountable, cope better, see my wins, navigate social situations, find a light in dark times, and so many other things! Thanks FOGLE ✌️I am so BLESSED to have you be a part of my world. Same with Lisa at the front desk and all the other wonderful ladies who work so hard keeping this place running and patients cared for! My last shout out is to Dr. Brantley for helping manage my medications and make changes when needed!
Big thanks to everyone for being so wonderful!
(I’m only leaving due to changes in my health insurance. Otherwise, they’d be stuck with me)

Been receiving mostly therapy from here for several years now. I can’t imagine going anywhere else. I’ve seen my share of therapist and psychiatrist throughout my life and this place is my favorite. My therapist is smart, kind, compassionate & knowledgeable. I’ve never had an issue with this practice that I didn’t cause myself. I’ve been discharged from missing too many appointments and still came back after the time limit was up.

I highly recommend Western Maryland counseling. My counsel is very patient and understanding. She helped me navigate through my downfalls. I felt that she generally wished me the best. I felt her sincerity and that’s very important to me. She emphasized with what I went through and what I’m going through.

I found it to be the place that worked for me because I was vulnerable and ready to air my clothes. Was here for more then a year with outpatient and counseling. It's all on you and how bad you want to use this to your advantage. I'd recommend this place to anyone that is serious about changing and needing help.

Things could always be better, but a lot of people need help, and not very many people feel like helping.

I was a patient here in 2023.
I had a good time there I met amazing staff and patients In there, also a very good therapist, the rules they made were very understandable but yeah one thing I didn’t like was having to be in the room and not being able to pace the hall. When we went outside it’s ridiculous, I can’t even see grass. And the patio is soooo small. But overall I fw it
