If you want a place to start your recovery journey, this is it. There is no room for the nonsense you will find at other 30 day inpatient facilities. All the staff will help you succeed in any way they can, setting you up for longer term treatment in there sober living program. I have been to other treatments in the past but Ethan health is by far the best. They check all boxes you are looking for in a recovery journey. I owe them for where my life is heading today.

Honestly, this place genuinely did help me quite a bit, the only problems I had was they were never able to get my sleeping meds and didn’t tell me until day 4 of them being there. The place is very clean and a good place however they are unfortunately very under staffed that lead to many complications especially with techs, they also do not allow outside time without people smoking which could be troublesome for some adults in the unit. Overall a good place.

My name is Keith markland. I just got out of stepworks January 9. I am very grateful they helped me get a second chance because without them I would hate to think where I would be now. I learned so much while I was there and each and every staff member were there to help me. It has a very positive and uplifting atmosphere. Since I have returned home I am still doing great. I love this rehab center. From the moment I got here, the staff were super accommodating and helpful with my needs all the way from detox to programming and therapeutic needs. They were friendly and the services were plentiful. The food was great and I love the therapeutic rehabilitative environment they provided. Teaching you the skills you need to give yourself basic skills to enter society again like cooking for yourself, doing basic chores, the classes were easy to comprehend.

I love STEPWORKS in Nicholasville, KY. My therapist was Alaina and she was such an amazing, caring, listener when I needed her. She is highly compassionate and intelligent in her field. She knew everything I needed her for and never let me down. Jen, the Facility Administrator, is such a sweetie. She listened and gave me great advice. The staff is truly emphatic. They have various addiction backgrounds and knew all the right things to say. They gave me advice I will keep with me forever. Duke, the amazing Duke. I will miss that little guy with all my heart. "Puppy!" is such an outgoing ESA dog. He loves everyone he meets and for being 9ish years old is still the king of his castle. He is so loving and a great fit to keep love in the air there. Having Duke there to lend his 4 legged care and compassion makes StepWorks such a loving place. Some might say they wanted to leave or they didn't like being there. Those people didn't finish the program or take it seriously. I wanted to leave numerous times, but after a while it wasn't because of the program, but issues I was having mentally. After talking with the staff and doing the much needed changes to myself mentally, I realized it was me and not them. You have to take the program seriously to benefit from it. You have to follow the rules, be involved with the classes, do your chores appropriately... All to gain what is needed to live the sober life. Don't use the program as a way to have shelter, food, utilities, to meet a lover. You will not gain what you need to keep from being a statistic. Do as your supposed to, and you will leave there a new person and a changed sober person. I did and I'm not looking back. Thank you StepWorks for all you did for me. I'm glad I didn't leave, I'm glad I followed the program and rules, and I know I'll be successful in life when I wouldn't have made it without your help. Love you all!!! Rehab Chick for life!! I went here a couple of years ago now and thought I had left a review. The mens house was a beautiful house in what seemed like a very nice neighborhood. Had plenty of space and nice chill area in the back yard. The groups were good and was able to have some fun with them. The house manager Denny I believe his name was, was absolutely incredible. He lived the sober life to the fullest and was a phenomenal example of the steps needed to stay sober. Would highly recommend for PHP services.

I have never been more grateful for a program, such as this. I came into y’all‘s program October 2024 and I graduated March 2025 I signed up to continue aftercare and go to serenity. I done what was needed to continue my care and I moved into the apartment October of this year. You guys had gave me the tools that I have needed to be able to succeed in my recovery. Because of you guys, I have custody of my son and I am mending relationships with My Other three kids . I was so stressed about Christmas as my son was picked by Angel Tree and I only got one present and I didn’t have the money to be able to provide for My Other three. And last minute you guys came through with more than what I needed. I am so grateful for you guys if you are struggling and you want custody of your children this is the place to go. They have awesome staff members and therapists, and I believe in my heart if I would’ve went anywhere else things wouldn’t have turned out the way they have for me today and today I’m stable. I am in my own home with my son. I have a job and I’m learning to live like a normal human being.

Brightview offers a alternative to opioid dependency! They have amazing staff an don't pass judgement. They don't criticize you if you fall down an will stand beside you to help you get back up. They offer help with resources an have counselors to guide you. Their doctors really listen to you an medicate you as you need. There is no longer a long wait to get your medication. You can be in an out quickly now. They was very understanding when my insurance got messed up through my job an I had no way to pay for my medication. They still gave me my medication for several days until I fixed my insurance. Brightview isn't just a clinic it's a support team!

During covid in 2022, I spent two weeks recovering in the Lex VA hospital and really got to see exceptional care. Last year I spent a total of a month (two weeks each time) in the Lex VA hospital and was reminded why I stay in the Lex VA region. From nursing assistants, nurses, doctors, physical rehabilitation, nutritionist and everyone that took care of me on a daily basis showed beyond exceptional care. Ive been through a few VA care systems. Some were... dangerous for patient care and you felt that going in. Ive never felt uncared for or like I was in a truly dangerous situation out of my control at the Lex VA.

I would definitely recommend this doctor's office. They are accommodating, kind, efficient, and aren't judgemental. My only complaint would be the doctor turnover rate can make it difficult to get comfortable with a doctor. But, the doctors are always above par. The staff is wonderful and always eager to help. The Office is also clean and easy to get to. Terri and TJ have been working there from the start and I would trust them with my life. I'm grateful for a a good place I can trust with my recovery. I would recommend if you feel like you are at bottom.

I am in the IOP program and and have less than two weeks left. I also live in one of their transitional homes. I am so grateful for the structure they provide in my journey after completing a residential program.. Without Spero heath I would not be able to share these pictures of memories I’ll always have. Truth is I would be just another statistic dead due to overdose! They have taught me how to live again, love myself, and become a productive member of society. With the medication along with the groups and counseling and support from their human resource team. I’ve been able to get back on my feet and any bumps in the road they are always their the help me figure it out.With the groups and counseling have helped me reprogram my brain into a healthier mindset to deal with everyday life situations with out turning to drugs. It doesn’t happen overnight it has taken me years to get where I am, but it works, and that’s why I’ve always came back. I know what I can be using this life changing program. I know where I would b if I didn’t come back and keep trying. I know I would not have been able to help my daughter get ready for prom, be here to take pictures with my kids on Mother’s Day and for that I’m so grateful to the team that I’ve worked with at Spero heath all these years. They have made me who I am today! I have no words but thankful they never gave up on me, no amount of money could buy what they gave back to me. Thank u ! Lexington group, Sean, Abby, Hailey. This is the best place everyone treats me like family and it’s saved my life I never thought I would say that I used to use every excuse in the world has to good night get on maintenance I would say I was allergic etc.. It’s definitely saved my life and I’m grateful I’m grateful for all the doctors they take their time if you need them to answer anything you ask them the staff are absolutely wonderful. They go above and beyond I’ve had to reschedule appointments and they’re very helpful when it comes to that just a great place I would definitely suggest it to anyone and do and I would give him more than five stars. If I could try it, you might like it.

Though the facility is a bit dated I can only praise the staff. My mother in law was a patient there for about 4 days. It was a rehabilitation visit. The staff, nurses, social workers and management care was as good as any care she has ever gotten anywhere. Please don’t judge this facility by its cover. Once you see inside you will be amazed at the level of care and compassion. It was a wonderful experience for a woman that needed some special care. She received it at the highest level. Thanks to everyone who gave my mother in law exactly what she needed.

Employees like Ladonna Griffy and Deborah Gamil are why Bluegrass is the best. There both professional but, so kind and empathetic with the residents. One is the business office manager the other social services.They are perfect in there jobs. I don’t know if I could handle the screamers or having my office literally bombarded with residents in wheelchairs. Demanding attention now. Kudos to these two ladies.

My son transferred from a 2 week stay at our hometown hospital to UK Good Samaritan to treat an acute Crohn’s flair. Having seen how healthcare can be elsewhere, my gratitude for our experience at UK GS is overwhelming. The doctors at UK saved my son’s life and set him up for a healthy future of remission. The nurses were kind and responsive to my son’s every need. The specialists, surgeons, anesthesiologists, and dietitian that we worked with showed us they were some of the best in their field. It didn’t take long for me to lower my shoulders, take a breath, and realize he was finally in good hands.
