Lighthouse Recovery Center is so much more than just a sober living. What really stood out to me was how much the staff genuinely care about every person who walks through their doors. You never feel like you’re just another client or a number — they take the time to actually get to know you, understand what you’re going through, and support you as an individual.
Lighthouse creates a sense of community that is hard to put into words. It’s a place where you can feel supported, held accountable, and encouraged while also learning how to build a life for yourself outside of treatment. The staff truly want to see you succeed, not just in staying sober, but in becoming a happier, healthier, and more independent person.
What makes Lighthouse special is that the care doesn’t feel transactional. You can tell the people there are genuinely invested in their clients and their futures. Recovery can be incredibly difficult, but having people around you who believe in you and actually care makes such a difference. So thankful for Lighthouse and every single staff we encountered. Each of the staff are extremely invested in the work they do with every young man they guide. Our son was there for 11 months and the experience allowed him so much support and growth. Even after discharge, Lighthouse continues to offer support . Our family would highly recommend Lighthouse for any young man struggling with addiction and looking for community.

Lighthouse Recovery was an answer to many prayers. So thankful for the many people there that poured into my son’s life. The team of people are the best! This is the first facility that got my child to open up about things she has pressed down and kept buried for the last 5 years. I see glimpses of the child she used to be peeking through before her world was turned upside down.
They have amazing communication and are transparent with my daughter’s progress and care. I am sad she will leave and have to go back to her regular school and life. I am afraid I will lose the progress she has made so far.
I highly recommend Base Point Forney for care of your child if needed. It has not only been patient driven. It has been family driven. It takes a village and I am thankful this is ours!

Bicycle Health — More Than Just Medical Treatment
For nearly an entire year, I lived through an absolute nightmare with a substance called 7-hydroxymitragynine, commonly known as 7-OH.
And when I say nightmare, I mean it.
I’m no stranger to addiction. I’m no stranger to recovery. I’ve spent years working on myself, attending meetings, helping others, and trying to live a life built on honesty, faith, and accountability. But none of that made me immune to what this substance did to me.
I tried stopping on my own. More than once. I knew what withdrawal felt like, and quite frankly, I was terrified of going through it again. I was exhausted physically, emotionally, and financially. I wanted my life back, but I couldn’t seem to find my way out.
And then I found Bicycle Health.
What Bicycle Health offered me was something I desperately needed: legitimate medical care, a structured treatment plan, professional guidance, and accountability. Most importantly, an opportunity to be completely honest about what I was going through and finally do something about it.
I wasn’t looking for a miracle. I wasn’t looking for an easy way out. I was looking for help.
And I found it.
I want to make something very clear. Bicycle Health doesn’t do the work for you. Nobody can do that. Recovery requires willingness, honesty, commitment, and a tremendous amount of personal responsibility. But having qualified people in your corner, helping you navigate something that has completely overwhelmed your life, can make an extraordinary difference.
I’m still on my journey. I’m still learning. I’m still doing the work. But today, I have something I was beginning to lose during that terrible year.
I have hope.
And you simply cannot put a price on that.
If there’s someone reading this who’s struggling with 7-OH, opioids, or the fear of withdrawal, please hear me when I tell you this: You don’t have to keep fighting this battle alone. There’s no shame in asking for medical help. Sometimes the strongest thing we can do is admit that what we’ve been doing simply isn’t working.
I’m a man of faith, and I believe God puts people and opportunities in our lives for a reason. But I also believe we have a responsibility to walk through the doors that open for us.
Bicycle Health was one of those doors.
To the professionals at Bicycle Health, thank you for being part of my recovery. Thank you for the care, the guidance, and the opportunity to begin moving forward again.
You haven’t just helped me address an addiction. You’ve helped me find a way forward.

I will start this review off by giving some information about myself so you can actually get something out of this review and hopefully it will help someone else get their life back on track.
I travel 46 weeks out of the year, sometimes my company has to fly me home for a day so I can make an appearance at my home clinic to stay compliant, so I have been to Methadone Clinics all across the United States as a Guest Dose Patient. I can honestly say New Season is one of the good ones. The lady who works up front is super nice And has been nothing but helpful to me. I believe it is $15 a day to pay for your methadone and If you want to go the Suboxone Route they also offer that as well ( I dont remember the cost per day but it is slightly higher than the methadone ) they only serve the liquid methadone ( cherry ) IF you are guest dosing there is a $25 charge, but you only have to pay that once a year.
BUT what makes New Season Treatment a good to great clinic in my eyes, is no matter what person you deal with it is always with respect and they seem to actually care about the people they serve . From the Doctor to the Nurse to the Counselors dont have anything bad to say about any of them. I was in quite a predicament at one point in my recovery And I actually was a full time client with New Season and I ended 2 weeks later having to move to Houston And they never treated me differently or made a fuss about the situation just helped me get the transfer to Houston. I would WAY rather have stayed with New Season than my current Home clinic if I'm being %100 honest...
I can also say I went to other clinics in the DFW Area and I had a horrible experience at another clinic in Dallas and New Season is my go to for the Dallas / Fort Worth Area.

I have only positive thoughts about Chapter House. My son has been there the last 10 months until his recent transfer. Last year was the most difficult time for him (and us). Doug and Marty were fantastic. They get to know their clients and are really dialed into each of their challenges. My son has been in many treatment facilities the last 6 years and I can tell you he made the most progress at Chapter House, he is the most stable that he has been in years. Chapter House is more than a Sober Living facility, they have much more safeguards and work more closely with the clients, more so than other facilities he has been to. I plan to stay in contact with Doug (Director Oper.) who really developed a great relationship with my son (and myself), he has a great heart and is so committed to his people.

Staff care and work hard to help. Groups are focused on individuals needs as well as the whole group. They encouraged us to learn and grow from each other's successes and even failures.
When I struggled they accommodated me and helped me with the extra help I needed. They also find services for additional help or higher level of care if needed.
Side note: I noticed a lot of the negative reviews were for inpatient and children's services this location in Plano doesn't even offer at this time or never offered.
I'm assuming many of the people were looking for the main hospital in Carrollton to review and made a mistake.

Callie was a fantastic therapist. She helped and listened to all my problems. Also all the nurses and techs cared about my wellbeing. Can I have a direct number to someone I can talk to about my medical records? I contacted the records department and they stated I have to wait 14 business days to receive them. I have a case with SSN SSDI and they’re about to rule on my case. I need them asap. I’ll pay extra and will drive to the location if needed. My team told me before I checked out I could get them a lot quicker. Thanks

Partial Hospitalization program was very lovely and informative and important for my growth mentally. Very lovely and kind and patient staff. They support you as long as you communicate and even catch when you don’t clearly communicate with words. They are quick, efficient and not just for the money. 10/10 totally recommend this for treatment mentally.
Update: I just clipped my nails with a nail trimmer for the first time in my life. I’ve always been an anxious nail biter. 10/10 would recommend.

I’ve been to over 20 different inpatient stays, and Carrollton springs is by far my favorite Inpatient program. Great staff, great food, great experience. 10/10. They’re more than happy to help in active crisis. Special shout out to Dr. B, who saw my symptoms, quickly and accurately assessed me and got my meds regulated. I feel soooo much better, I feel and act like myself again. I really appreciate it and so do my loved ones. Happy to be back functioning again! ☺️

Starting this review by saying this is one the best places I've been to. I have never felt loved and cared for by any other place except this one. Manal and maddie are incredible people and have helped me so much they will help you. Ali gage and Elizabeth are amazing directors and therapists too. Although I hated this place in the beginning , I learned its not as bad as I thought. Its so much better compared to erc or children's , if you need help with an eating disorder definitely come here.

This is a great facility and program. The staff is amazing! I took off one star because the billing department at corporate is incompetent. Make sure you are well educated on your insurance coverage and know the financial process at the center ahead of time to avoid stress and frustration.

I went here on a Monday to take a friend of mine to her appointment, and it was extremely busy. The wait was definitely very long, but I will say the receptionists were very nice, sweet, and professional. Anytime we asked about the wait, they were willing to give us an update, which I appreciated.
I also want to give a special shoutout to the Black woman with the braids working at the front. I witnessed a client give her the worst attitude simply because she explained that the next available appointments were pretty far out. The way that woman was treating her was completely unnecessary.
I really commend the women working up there because they are doing their jobs and dealing with a lot of people throughout the day. Some clients can have the nastiest attitudes toward staff who are simply trying to do their jobs and help them.
The wait may have been long, but I definitely think the staff deserves recognition for remaining patient, professional, and respectful despite how some customers treated them.

My adolescent child spent several days at this facility, after starting treatment at another local facility.
Seay Center was night and day in comparison.
The staff was caring, professional and respectful to our daughter. Her time there was invaluable.
We especially want to thank Lori Holland for all of her guidance and effort in helping us transfer our child from the first facility, as it wasn’t an easy task. She was incredibly caring and went above and beyond.
The moment we walked in the door of Seay Center, the sense of relief can’t be described.
During especially stressful times, I can see how others might have had a different point of view or opinion of the facility, however, being that we had a horrific experience at another local facility and can directly compare them, I assure you, your child is in great hands at Seay Center.

I think the Seay center is the best MH hospital in DFW. Dr. Tajani was great. The nurses and staff were great. I felt my son was safe and it was the first step to him getting better. I would not feel comfortable with any other hospital in DFW.
