taylor recovery is the best! I came in and despite acting sort of out of control for a while, i was treated kindly and patiently by the staff and was able to detox and recover incredibly peacefully!
The facility is clean and the food is delicious (thanks chef john and mark!) the beds are comfortable and the rooms have tvs. we there are a variety of great counselors who are patient and yet persistent in leading you to a better self.
both the day and night techs are incredibly kind, patient, and accomodating.

I came into Skyward treatment alone, lost, and completely broken. Not only was the entry process easy, but the ENTIRE staff went above and beyond to help me get there. I was warmly greeted by the techs the night I came in, terrified and so very nervous, they made me feel right at home. I had the privilege of meeting the manager Stephanie the next day and she warmly greeted me with a huge hug and open arms. I knew I was in the right place and would be safe. This place not only saved my life, but it CHANGED me as a person. The one-on-one counseling, along with their therapeutic way of treatment (CBT) was EXACTLY what I needed to begin my sober journey. My time there was not very easy on my mind and body, but the entire team came together on multiple occasions to make sure all my needs were met and I was given the best care possible for the 60 days that I was there. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend this place to anyone struggling with the dual diagnosis of mental health and substance abuse. Dawn, the NP is amazing. Thank you Jacob, Stephanie, Kat, Eric, all of the nursing staff, counselors, and also every tech! You all are AMAZING. The work this place puts in, in order to help people get clean and healthy again is beyond admirable. If you're looking for change, and a new start at life, Skyward is the place to go. Great place excellent therapists and doctors. Just wish they letyou sleep all the way thru the night without waking you for you to take medication vitals etc otherwise top tier facility and services. Nurses are professional and compassionate.

Wonderful experience with my daughter. Bianca is the sweetest. It shows that she truly cares. My daughter is temperamental and gets cranky and scared with new people but Bianca handled her so calmly that my daughter enjoyed her sessions.
It is a blessing to find a therapist who treats patients like that.

My wife and I are grateful for the program here at The Orchard on the Brazos. The team there has shown that a program uniquely designed to treat addiction while maintaining dignity is the best way to achieve and maintain sobriety. Additionally, their family programs are second to none. We attended a weekend event that was incredibly helpful to us. And, my wife and I have been attending their weekly family zoom meeting for 16 months. Not coincidentally, our loved one is 16 months sober. This meeting, run by Fallon has been instrumental in our own recovery. Fallon provides a very safe space to discuss various topics pertinent to family recover. We're very grateful for these meetings and plan to continue attending.

Unfortunately, we have had two experiences with the Orchard with two of our adult children. I wrote unfortunately, because no one should have to experience their children battling addiction. We had previous experience at another organization that was fruitless. This was a whole new version.
The professionals at the Orchard care not only for the residents, but also provide forums for the family members as well. It is a welcoming caring environment, where family participation is encouraged, because we all need healing in some respects.
For those who are just about at their wits end, there is hope. Let me also say this is not a miracle place, our kids have work that they need to do. As a Dad, I would encourage you to fully check out the facilities, programs and staff. We have been very blessed with our experiences.

The people at The Orchard truly care about their residents. They also care about the recovery of family members of the addict. If you or a loved one struggle with addiction I highly recommend The Orchard. It is very different than any other rehab facility I have come across and I am forever grateful that we found it!

Wonderfully and positively fulfilling place! Bill is awesome! The groups are enlightening and truly helpful. PRC in its entirety is incredible. Before coming here I went to the 30 day program at PRC Dallas (Euless) and it went by so fast! Thank you PRC for saving my life! First impressions: First thing I noticed was the positive energy emanating from various staff members. Everybody seemed HAPPY to be at work (about 4-5 staff members). That's always a good sign of a good work space. Second was a very low adult:teen ratio (many adults to few teens) which let me know there is very little chance for missteps with resident whereabouts; and as an added bonus, there were zero adults using cell phones! Third and most important was the professionalism and knowledge of the young and thorough intake officer D'Mani. She spoke with such mastery and courtesy and reassurance, that I could actually exhale at the notion of leaving my most precious part of me here-alone, that is, without a family member. At this initial visit I feel confident that my family member will leave this facility emotionally and psychologically better than when he arrived✝️.

The odyssey home is where you come and get away from everything so you can better yourself. you may not like it all while your in there but deep down you know it’s doing you better mentally and physically and showing you how strong you can be when you finish the program all the staff are great people just have the same respect you would want towards you. Everyone isn’t gonna have a perfect day every single day but you gotta focus on why your there and what you need to do so you can go back home and spent time with your family cause when you in there you start thinking about all the stuff yoh missed out with your family and how much of a privilege it is to have your family around but you don’t notice that till your in there and see how much time you been playing with your life there is a privilege for you to become great within yourself you just have to put the work in and show your family that you can make a change for once in your life. What an incredible, amazing, wonderful, beautiful, awesome place and community this place is! I was searching for a PHP/IOP/Sober living facility for weeks to help me continue on my path of recovery and as soon as I made my first phone call and spoke to Jacob I knew it my heart I had finally found the perfect spot for me. The entire staff was welcoming and helpful and supportive, the group sessions along with my peers helped me fully understand this disease and without them I’m not sure if I would’ve made it. My appreciation and gratitude for this program are through the roof and I would HIGHLY suggest anyone who needs help with addiction and mental health and staying sober to contact this place. They are #1 in my book and again I cannot give them enough thanks and praise for everything they’ve done for me!

Even the techs were so helpful n friendly i went in on 7-23-23 everything was good towards the end i got a couch how lucky was i to get couch AUTUMN ha she talked about my pants not being fancy enough for community saying i wasnt serious that I don’t want to b sober ( hint I was in rehab willingly) n basically ignored me wouldn’t help me get help with anything literally SHE DID NOTHING for me n the day I graduated im all proud n happy she walks up to me says “ im not gunna b ur couch, u don’t want this ur no hope bye “ I told the lady in charge she said “ she has to it’s to late , o well just go ask another couch “ other couches had already left or said they were full so while Santa Maria was great couch AUTUMN shouldn’t b a couch if that’s how she thinks while Santa Maria was setting me up for greatness the one person that’s supposed to b ur support on the outside tryed to set me up for failure n Santa Maria as a whole don’t need her mentality in a place like that ur supposed to couch help not tear us down

This place have gave me so much to hope for due to the staff Ms.jasmine, Mr>derrick, Ms.talisha, my counclor Ms.rachel and many more of the staff. The love each of these people have for the patients and care its unexplainable. coming from using hard drugs and not having a sense of care for myself and to walk thru these doors and the arms are open to love you till you can love yourself is amazing, me going back out and relapsing and scared to come back but when I thought about the staff and how much love the gave me I was ready to walk back in the doors and now I feel so much stronger because how much they have put so much love in me again. I'm forever grateful for this place and I always tell others who suffer from addiction that this is where I found myself again, and many found the same from their experience also. Also, I experienced more than just Freedom from alcohol , that slowly took control over me. I magically adapted to an enthusiastic attitude to replace the damages & Shame of the past ,

New Dimensions has helped me to start to change negative thought patterns that I have struggle with for years. Their staff is fantastic and caring. I enrolled as a patient at New Dimensions with no prior experience with iop. I called all around Houston and I gave this center a chance because they were the first ones to pick up the phone with a sense of compassion in their voices. I am an adult in my late 20s with alcohol and substance abuse history and I have ptsd from past traumas in my life as well as severe manic depression. My life had gotten to a place of complete unmanageability. I was scared that my diseases would eventually cause my inevitable death and I did not know any of the tools I needed to be a healthy functioning adult. All of that slowly and subtly started to change and improve because of the professional guidance I received from ALL of my therapists and counselors there. I learned how to replace bad habits with healthy ones and I choose my well being over the things that I can't change on a daily basis, one day at a time. I will always feel a sense of gratitude to this facility.

This is one of the Best Recovery Centers that I have ever been to. The staff are there with you through it all, whether it be a Residential Assistant or a Nurse or your own Clinician you are never doing it alone. They've Got You all the way through to the end. I highly recommend it if you know anyone struggling with Alcoholism or Addiction.

Positive Recovery is a game changer. I've been on my own recovery road for years by myself but l've never been able to connect all the pieces to stay sober. PRC provided me with tools I could use on a day to day basis that help me through life's situations as they come. Glenn, one of the counselors at the Cinco Ranch location, is very insightful and actually in recovery himself. He could relate to what I've been through and what I go through daily. So thankful for my Santa Maria Family. My sister was her about 3 times in 2 years. Every time we tried to get her admit, we didn’t follow protocol and the staff always assisted us and she was always approved! The staff looked out for my sister and niece, it takes a village and thank god for each and every staff member here! From the counselors to the security. Instill updated them on my sister because I know they care for her.
I never got to visit inside so no comment but i witnessed my sister get her own place, look healthier by the day and get employment. She a break and time to recover.
Will always be grateful for their services.

This place was truly a life saver!! They stopped what they were doing twice within 3 weeks to come rescue me from myself over an hour and a half away. My dad has struggled with drug addiction for 25+ years. He recently had a massive heart attack due to drug use and his situation was becoming dire. We knew if he didn't get help he wasn't going to make it much longer. He finally agreed to get treatment and my sister found this place. He went from not wanting to go to rehab to not wanting to leave this place. He absolutely loved it and loves everyone there. He considers them family. He completed his treatment and the staff is still there to offer him support and help him succeed. Andy has been amazing at helping him find out patient programs. They truly care here. They deserve more than 5 stars.

This was the best decision I could have made for my mental wellness. Everyone has life issues and experiences. Sometimes you don’t know you need professional help until you’re in the middle of it. Well I was. I am blessed to have a support system who was on board for my self care.
I researched various IOPs/PHPs that my psychiatrist suggested. The Heights Treatment sounded like the best fit for me. Based on reviews and researching the area, solidified my choice to start treatment there. So I did.
From the intake for IOP5, to individual therapy sessions, to group sessions including equine therapy, to individual sessions with Dr. R, was well thought out to get this group of professionals to help people. The one who held it together with scheduling to communicating to even listening for a couple of minutes in passing, was truly a blessing. Their client care services, Adam, is kind and professional. They all make you feel welcome.
Bre - my therapist, help tremendously. Various group sessions, helped me realize so much. They gave me the tools to help me reach my goals. They helped me choose to do the work. Be it daily checking in, verbalizing my emotion at the time, concerns, etc, these are the things for me, that were so beneficial in my mental wellness.

Heights Treatment was a Godsend and it saved my life. I love how unique each therapist is. They have a wide variety of therapies including equine therapy, emdr, trauma processing, as well as individual and group therapy. I can’t speak for all departments but so far I’ve had a good experience with the dental department and primary care. Dr Ali is outstanding and you can tell he actually cares about veterans. He made it a point to call me directly, outside of normal business hours to make sure I was okay after a series of events. Thankful that so far I have received good care.

I’ve Known Of Montrose Counseling/Community Center since Summer of 1995. During That Time MCC was located on Richmond Avenue in a beautiful but smaller building than they’re in now. My first Therapist was Lee Willis a phenomenal therapist for anyone living with gender dysphoria. Since then I’ve had sporadic experiences at MCC from 1995 till 2008. However, when I move back to Houston in 2008 I started going To MCC consistently especially after 2009. I’ve had some wonderful case managers and therapist from Mandy Lloyd in 2009 till Daniel Perez now. I can honestly say there’re people who work at MCC who authentically care about the LGBTQ+ community of Houston very much, and those same people are willing to provide exceptional services for anyone regardless of their sexual orientation, gender, religion, or race to me that’s commendable.
I lost my Therapist/ Friend Mike Ator in November Of last year 11-04-24 was the day I was told he had passed away, and that news shook me to my core it was devastating heartbreaking news. I miss him greatly and that’s the kind of people that work at MCC phenomenal people who truly care and reaffirm to their clients they matter. In closing, I wholeheartedly recommend MCC to anyone who seeking services like Mental Wellness, Community groups to network, groups that meet to discuss life’s challenges, and helping people who are apart of the LGBTQ+ community by reaffirming the fact YOU MATTER 🤗 I Sincerely And Unequivocally give MCC Five Stars For being a lighthouse In Dark Times Thank You ☺️ GOD Bless 🙏🏾 !!!!!!

You get out what you put in. This place was literally life changing for me. Private rooms, you're assigned a team based on individual patients needs of a psychiatrist, individual therapist, and social worker, the grounds are gorgeous, the groups are run by people who are very good in their fields (like they have doctorates and some are even univeristy professors), the cafeteria does not suck and there are plenty of options (even multiple options for vegetarians and vegans), you can apply for different levels of responsibility (like how much trust staff can give you, you can get to the point where you can leave the unit alone and go for a walk), they give you an assigned private phone and MP3 player, the staff actually appears to enjoy their jobs, you are given resources for all of your needs. BUT you have to be willing to put in the work. They cant fix your problems for you. They cant make you contact your family, they cant make you take your medication, they cant make you go to group; you have to do that for yourself. It may be expensive, but you get your money's worth IF you put in the effort. But you have to want it. No one can do that part for you, but they will give you every resource they can, and will advocate for you tooth and nail with insurance. Of course theres other reviews of "this place is horrid" because its literally a psychiatric facility, not everyone there is going to have a good time. There was another Google review that made me consider and eventually pick this place as the place for me to get help that said "this place is actually ok." Its genuinely actually ok. If youre ready to change your life for the better and dedicate yourself to doing so, they will with open arms be ready to help you. Please consider this option. Compared to other places I have been inpatient, this has been the best mental health experience I've ever had. Genuinely.
