I came into Skyward treatment alone, lost, and completely broken. Not only was the entry process easy, but the ENTIRE staff went above and beyond to help me get there. I was warmly greeted by the techs the night I came in, terrified and so very nervous, they made me feel right at home. I had the privilege of meeting the manager Stephanie the next day and she warmly greeted me with a huge hug and open arms. I knew I was in the right place and would be safe. This place not only saved my life, but it CHANGED me as a person. The one-on-one counseling, along with their therapeutic way of treatment (CBT) was EXACTLY what I needed to begin my sober journey. My time there was not very easy on my mind and body, but the entire team came together on multiple occasions to make sure all my needs were met and I was given the best care possible for the 60 days that I was there. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend this place to anyone struggling with the dual diagnosis of mental health and substance abuse. Dawn, the NP is amazing. Thank you Jacob, Stephanie, Kat, Eric, all of the nursing staff, counselors, and also every tech! You all are AMAZING. The work this place puts in, in order to help people get clean and healthy again is beyond admirable. If you're looking for change, and a new start at life, Skyward is the place to go. I promise you, you will NOT regret it.

Wonderful experience with my daughter. Bianca is the sweetest. It shows that she truly cares. My daughter is temperamental and gets cranky and scared with new people but Bianca handled her so calmly that my daughter enjoyed her sessions.
It is a blessing to find a therapist who treats patients like that.

Detox at the Orchard helps individuals not give up during this difficult first step | Treatments Programs Payment Options | My wife and I are grateful for the program here at The Orchard on the Brazos. The team there has shown that a program uniquely designed to treat addiction while maintaining dignity is the best way to achieve and maintain sobriety. Additionally, their family programs are second to none. We attended a weekend event that was incredibly helpful to us. And, my wife and I have been attending their weekly family zoom meeting for 16 months. Not coincidentally, our loved one is 16 months sober. This meeting, run by Fallon has been instrumental in our own recovery. Fallon provides a very safe space to discuss various topics pertinent to family recover. We're very grateful for these meetings and plan to continue attending.

Unfortunately, we have had two experiences with the Orchard with two of our adult children. I wrote unfortunately, because no one should have to experience their children battling addiction. We had previous experience at another organization that was fruitless. This was a whole new version.
The professionals at the Orchard care not only for the residents, but also provide forums for the family members as well. It is a welcoming caring environment, where family participation is encouraged, because we all need healing in some respects.
For those who are just about at their wits end, there is hope. Let me also say this is not a miracle place, our kids have work that they need to do. As a Dad, I would encourage you to fully check out the facilities, programs and staff. We have been very blessed with our experiences.

With everything that I have been through in my life and it is a lot. Before coming to Fulshear Treatment to Transition I didn't think I would make it past 18 and here I am living past 20. Now I do have to say that the work is not easy, and one of the most important things that I learned while being at Fulshear is that, I am not and never was broken, i was just lost, and being at Fulshear with all the staff and therapists and life skills people and nursing and everyone else but most importantly the horses helped me find who I really am, and how to never lose myself again. I also struggled with saving money and I could never budget, I also learned that at Fulshear, I learned a lot at Fulshear, I learned how to be more vulnerable, and how to let people in and trust them. I couldn't be more happier than who I am today. That horse in the picture was my most biggest supporter besides all the coaches, therapists, equine specialist, cooks, psychiatrists, nursing, dietitians, and many more. I cannot thank them enough for changing my life.

Positive Recovery Center - Houston - Montrose, located in Houston, Texas, is an outpatient dual diagnosis and drug rehab facility. They offer services for adults, including a 120-day, long term treatment option, a partial hospitalization program, an intensive outpatient program, a proprietary “supportive outpatient program” that uses positive p | Treatments Programs Payment Options | Communication was difficult from the beginning. Voicemail boxes were full, updates were inconsistent, and my family member received very few one-on-one sessions due to clear understaffing. Her therapist, Unyime, did the best she could and was compassionate and responsive whenever she was able to connect. Dr. Rafique and the nurse practitioner were also patient, kind, and genuinely invested in her care, and I am grateful for the support they both provided.
The nursing staff, however, was the biggest concern. Several interactions were unprofessional and dismissive. One nurse at the front desk made inappropriate comments in front of families — including scoffing at the idea of adjusted Thanksgiving visitation hours and stating she would “be leaving at 7 p.m.” regardless of patient needs.
When I asked how to get updates about my family member, she told me, “She’s an adult, so good luck.”
During discharge, belongings were missing, paperwork was incomplete, and staff seemed confused about the process. When we asked about missing items, Tamika stated, “I am not trying to be smart, but it is not my job to keep up with your mother’s things,” despite being the person I had given them to earlier in the week.
Basic dignity was also an issue—hygiene items that were dropped off were not given to her for days without explanation, leaving her to use makeshift alternatives until a nurse finally offered help.
While Unyime and Dr. Rafique truly stood out for their professionalism and care, the dismissive and at times openly hostile behavior from nursing staff overshadowed their efforts. I hope the facility addresses these concerns, retrains staff on professionalism and compassion, and improves the discharge process so future patients receive the respectful, consistent care they deserve.

Feel like healthcare workers are supposed to care. Not here. My girlfriend’s mom was admitted earlier in the week and none of the front desk staff ever seem to know what’s going on and give dead blank looks when asked very basic questions. We dropped off some makeup of hers and a jacket with employee names Tamika at inpatient, those items never seemed to make it to the patients possession. While we’re here checking my girlfriend’s mom out of care Tamika also doesn’t know what’s happened to those possessions and claims “it’s not her job” to know. It’s a pretty basic function of any industry where customer service is involved to point people in the right direction to get their questions answered. Point us to whose job it is and stop behaving like patients and their loved ones are a burden. We also left feminine care products for the patient and she has not been allowed to use them and is forced to use toilet paper instead. Why even take the items from us if the patient isn’t allowed to have them?? Insane. Only reason I’m giving one star is because negative 5 stars isn’t an option.

What an incredible, amazing, wonderful, beautiful, awesome place and community this place is! I was searching for a PHP/IOP/Sober living facility for weeks to help me continue on my path of recovery and as soon as I made my first phone call and spoke to Jacob I knew it my heart I had finally found the perfect spot for me. The entire staff was welcoming and helpful and supportive, the group sessions along with my peers helped me fully understand this disease and without them I’m not sure if I would’ve made it. My appreciation and gratitude for this program are through the roof and I would HIGHLY suggest anyone who needs help with addiction and mental health and staying sober to contact this place. They are #1 in my book and again I cannot give them enough thanks and praise for everything they’ve done for me!

The level of professionalism, service, care and respect is incredible.
Whether we’re talking about the Doctors, Associates, Nurses, Technicians or Administrative Staff, the dedication and commitment goes way beyond a “just a job” attitude,

Houston, Texas | Texas Clinic offers outpatient treatment to help people with opioid use issues heal and regain control of their lives. They have two facilities in Houston, Texas. That includes this location on Fulton Street which is wholly funded by the government. They’re easy to access via public transportation including METRORail’s Red Line and multiple ME | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I've been a client at Texas Clinic for almost two years. While the majority of my experiences with the staff have been positive and helpful with my best interest as the focus of our attention, the morning of Oct. 17, 2025, unfortunately gave me a glimpse into the face of corruption and deciet that are at the heart of the worlds problem. Jose, is an employee at the clinic though his title or function is unknown, he facilitates the morning ritual of dosing by standing around keeping tabs on the routine, making sure things are conducted in occordance with policy and customs. On the morning I have mentioned, I was charging a power bank after I had dosed, minding my own business not bothering anyone except Jose. Not that I was doing anything to provoke or irritate him intentionally, however he came up to me and asked," how much longer do you have to charge your phone?" I looked at him and replied one more dot. Then I asked Why. He then replied that the big boss had told him to come tell me something. A blatent and deliberate lie, spoken out of fear that he may loose his false sense of control over the situation if he was honest and said that he personally had a problem with me being there doing what I was doing. At which time I confronted him and told him he was lieing, and that unless he could be honest with me not to speak to me at all. He then rushed outside to fetch his trusted security officer and hyped the situation up by stating another lie. He said I was refusing to leave. I laughed and informed the office that I had no problem going, my problem was with the fact that I had caught him lieing to benefit his desire. The officer told me that he represented the business and I had to listen to him. I then objected on the bases that dishonesty in business nullifys my obligations as well as any authority the lier may or may not have. I told Jose, as I was walking away not to speak with me if he couldn't help but lie. His reply was," I don't have to tell you the truth." Now that statement has me questioning everything I thought I felt about the clinic. My reasoning is that if the clinic allows a staff to tell a patient that and do nothing, what does that say for the management? So just know that if you are considering Tx Clinic, remember that Jose, is a control freak that is threatened by anyone that has the mind enough to challenge the narrative he makes up on the fly. I am waiting now to see if they will try to kick me out of the program for this post. If they do, I will surely let you know to keep those considering the program safe from future retaliation if any issues arise after your enrollment. I know of several others that Jose, has singled out and targeted for harassment. So just know that sometimes, often all the time, the people that work at these places often have issues that require the inner will to correct the error of their ways yet because they feel in authority, this change seldom arrives, and they compound the problem by mixing from one patient to another telling lie upon lie. Maybe 3I Atlas can help us all. I have included an image taken from the monitoring system on Mars as it traveled pass the planet. It is a most enlightened image, one no resistance can deny. Clearly the game has changed. Truth is both crucial and demanded from this day onward. Trust there are eyes and ears monitoring everything and just maybe we shall have to answer for simple deciet when spoken to benefit the one telling it. I wish you all success and the strength and dedication to change your life for the better.

The most amazing staff, people who care and doctors that care. My number one concern was the judgment being only 22…but there was no judgment from anyone, when I walked in they made me feel like family! This clinic genuinely just want to see you survive and give you tools to live a better life. I could not recommend this place more….its all government funded and if you can’t get it covered because you have insurance self pay is only 100$ a week. When other places wanted to charge me almost 600$ a week…these people save lives!

Nancy the "Boss" who runs everything at the front desk has the nicest and most welcoming smile ever, not to mention the most genuine and thoughtful person, truly! And now my counselor , Mr. Richard, he keeps me in line & focused on my treatment plan, thank goodness because even though I'm scatterbrained he is on point! I can't forget to mention Jose, who really is awesome, just don't mess with him when he's drinking his coffee, lol, just kidding. Needville, Texas | Fulshear Treatment to Transition is a private rehab located in Needville, Texas. Fulshear Treatment to Transition specializes in the treatment of Mental Health. | Treatments Programs Payment Options | Fulshear saved my life—twice.
I first went to Fulshear in 2021 after moving to Texas. I gained the tools I needed to manage my mental health and really found healing there. One of the most impactful parts of my experience was equine therapy. I was a barn manager and caring for the horses gave me a deep sense of purpose. I also made connections that I still carry with me today.
In 2024, I returned to Fulshear when I was struggling with substance use. I knew it was the place I needed to go, and once again, it changed my life. My therapist, Courtney Deadman, is the best therapist I have ever worked with. She’s inclusive, compassionate, and truly gifted at what she does. The family work we did together completely transformed my relationship with my parents—I’ve never communicated with them so well. Courtney held my light when I couldn’t, and now I can hold it proudly on my own.
The rest of the clinical team—especially Micah and Injila—also made a huge impact. They led powerful groups and always made me feel seen and supported. The entire staff is truly exceptional.
I also want to shout out the admissions team—Helaine is my hero. She supported me with so much care and compassion, and even checked in on me after I left treatment. She and her daughter Della are an amazing team and two of the most genuine, kindhearted people I’ve ever met. I’m beyond grateful for them.
If you’re looking for a place that can truly help you heal, grow, and take back your life, I cannot recommend OPI Houston enough!!! Best of luck on your journey!

I came into the ranch broken lost and hurting. I had a lot of trauma from my childhood and my young adulthood that I never processed. As a result I was struggling with addiction, depression anxiety, you name it. Before the ranch I was use to abusive relationships, codependency, homelessness and isolation. I spent 3 months on the ranch and completely transformed my life. It was a lot of hard work. And I honestly wanted to change my life. I knew I was not living the life I was meant to live. I have nothing but good things to say about Fulshear. The staff is amazing and I believe in the program. Since Fulshear I am now 10 months sober. I live in a safe home and I'm able to have healthy relationships. I am back to working and even won employee of the month. I still continue with working with a therapist, which I will probably always continue to do in my life. It's a life long journey. But I was able to start and gain tools to start my healing and new life. I even found good friends at treatment that I still stay in touch with and we continue to love and support each other to this day. Fulshear will always hold a special place in my heart.

Involved family in treatment process and determining mental status, as they know the patient the best. Included family and patient for the best outcome instead of just throwing him back in the streets before he was ready. This is a deeply personal and stressful situation when you have a family member having a mental health crises. I work in healthcare and I have to say I was very impressed with the physicians, social workers, and all other staff. They truly care . Thank you.

Dr. Khan is superb. She is empathetic, wise and very knowledgeable in her field. She does not look at a clock for session timing (there is no clock in her office). She makes patients feel comfortable and able to discuss whatever is of underlying concern. She even has Saturday session which is excellent for someone who works full time and can't escape the office. I highly recommend her.
