I spent time at Skyward Addiction Treatment Center in Sugar Land and it really helped me turn things around. My counselor, Ms. Kimberly Isaac, was amazing — she took the time to actually understand what I was going through and helped me work through a lot of stuff instead of just going through the motions. The nursing staff, Jessica and Brianna, also deserve a shoutout, they were attentive and made sure I was taken care of every step of the way, even when I wasn't the easiest patient to deal with. Recovery isn't easy but having people like this in your corner makes all the difference. Would recommend Skyward to anyone who's serious about getting better. David W.

My son was never been excited to attend speech therapies until he had Sydelle in TIRR. He's usually grumpy to attend speech but he got excited when i mention Sydelle and his retention at home is very positive. Unfortunately we're pausing therapies (their policy not to have continuous therapies) but when we're back, we hope to still have Sydelle as my son's therapist. Thank you

The staff is incredibly friendly, helpful and professional. When I say staff, I mean EVERYONE. From the techs, to the medical staff, to the housekeeping(they do your laundry), to the groundskeepers, counselors, everybody. This is world-class, luxury, top-tier care. If you want to do it right and you believe that you get what you pay for, this is the place for you. I am a changed, renewed, and hopeful person because of the care The Orchard showed me during my 30-day stay. From the beautiful people who maintain the breathtaking 132 acres, to the very top of the medical/ clinical team — and of course Dan — every single person is beyond exceptional. I truly believe the “secret sauce” everyone talks about at The Orchard is community. It begins with the people who dedicate their lives not only to their own sobriety, but to ours as residents as well. I cannot express enough gratitude to everyone who welcomed me into their care with open arms — with no judgment, no preconceived notions, and every willingness to give me the help, the space, and the love I needed to heal from trauma that resulted in addiction. If you are looking for a place to become renewed and begin your recovery journey, I would wholeheartedly encourage you to take a hard look at The Orchard. Set along the Brazos River, the land itself feels special. When the Indigenous people named this river , they could not have known it would one day feel like “the arms of love” to so many. I just left this amazing place! Nervous not knowing what to expect not wanting to be there. I did 21 days. The 21 days there was life changing. I will always be grateful for this place and the counselors and the staff. Met some people I will never forget and my counselor Cody most importantly. The facility is magnificent and far exceeded my expectations of a recovery facility. Firstly, I was allowed to bring my fur baby with me which was a wonderful comfort to me. I don’t think I would have done as well without having her with me. The facilities are clean and well-kempt. The staff is caring, understanding, and genuinely invested in your unique recovery journey (Jacob and Sunny are phenomenal). The therapists authentically understand the journey to recovery and ensure everyone feels respected and heard. While your recovery is taken seriously and put in the work, they make the process fun and relatable. The physician and nursing staff is thorough and available 24/7 - they care about each patient and their bedside manner is impeccable. They are NOT autonomous robots like you see with a lot of other medical facilities. Nursing even does occasional group sessions on the medical aspects of recovery, post-recovery preventative care. You are even sent home with a supply of medications to help bridge the gap between discharge and your own provider. And the food… where do I start? I have travelled all over the country for work, eating at high end hotels and restaurants yet the thrice daily meal here far exceeded in quality and variety. The thrice daily, freshly cooked international cuisines were amazing! They also have juices, sodas, flavored water, coffee, teas, high end snacks, and even ice cream available 24/7. They have working washers and dryers and even provide Tide pods and dryer sheets. The outside grounds are peaceful and the outside activities during and after group sessions are relaxing. They have karaoke, acupuncture, movie nights, and yoga among other activities. I highly recommend this facility!

I Wanna start by saying thank you to everyone at PRC for helping me through this difficult process of getting sober. Where do I begin so back in January it was a learning process and a great experience for me I never thought in a million years I could have done that. However today march 28th I AM GOING STRONG ON 82 days sober and by the grace of my higher power and working the steps and making sober connections I’m sober today. I’ve been through a lot during my life with being part of the LGBTQ community (a Transgender Woman) I had lots of hurdles when I first arrived and overcome them so I’m really glad to be doing IOP at the montrose Location I couldn’t have done this without MY PRC FAMILY. I had a really bad blow up last day and very loud and disrespectful to all the staff that approached me. I'm really sorry and impressed with the staff because I don't know if could have the same restraint they showed me and my foul mouth.The staff was without a doubt the best I've encountered. Positive Recovery is a game changer. I've been on my own recovery road for years by myself but l've never been able to connect all the pieces to stay sober. PRC provided me with tools I could use on a day to day basis that help me through life's situations as they come. Glenn, one of the counselors at the Cinco Ranch location, is very insightful and actually in recovery himself. He could relate to what I've been through and what I go through daily. He taught me about what my brain is going through and actually backs it up with scientific studies and evidence. I am excited about my future today. Like I said PRC is a game changer.

This is one of the Best Recovery Centers that I have ever been to. The staff are there with you through it all, whether it be a Residential Assistant or a Nurse or your own Clinician you are never doing it alone. They've Got You all the way through to the end. This program is just different. Ive been in programs before and they were very surface level, but if youre willing to put in the work, these therapists and counselors are determined to help you in the healing process and deeply. Im really glad I took this step for myself to become a more well person and I hope others choose this step for themselves too with this program because it is worth it. You are worth it. And they will advocate for you all the way.

So thankful for my Santa Maria Family. My sister was her about 3 times in 2 years. Every time we tried to get her admitted, we didn’t follow protocol and the staff always assisted us and she was always approved! The staff looked out for my sister and niece, it takes a village and thank god for each and every staff member here! From the counselors to the security. I still updated them on my sister because I know they care for her. I never got to visit inside so no comment but i witnessed my sister get her own place, look healthier by the day and get employment. She a break and time to recover. Will always be grateful for their services.

This place was truly a life saver!! They stopped what they were doing twice within 3 weeks to come rescue me from myself over an hour and a half away. The staff is amazing and really care about your state of well-being. They don't care if you like them, they care if you live and that's the most comforting thing about this place. My dad has struggled with drug addiction for 25+ years. He recently had a massive heart attack due to drug use and his situation was becoming dire. We knew if he didn't get help he wasn't going to make it much longer. He finally agreed to get treatment and my sister found this place. He went from not wanting to go to rehab to not wanting to leave this place. He absolutely loved it and loves everyone there. He considers them family. He completed his treatment and the staff is still there to offer him support and help him succeed. Andy has been amazing at helping him find out patient programs. They truly care here. They deserve more than 5 stars.

I’ve Known Of Montrose Counseling/Community Center since Summer of 1995. During That Time MCC was located on Richmond Avenue in a beautiful but smaller building than they’re in now. My first Therapist was Lee Willis a phenomenal therapist for anyone living with gender dysphoria. Since then I’ve had sporadic experiences at MCC from 1995 till 2008. However, when I move back to Houston in 2008 I started going To MCC consistently especially after 2009. I’ve had some wonderful case managers and therapist from Mandy Lloyd in 2009 till Daniel Perez now. I can honestly say there’re people who work at MCC who authentically care about the LGBTQ+ community of Houston very much, and those same people are willing to provide exceptional services for anyone regardless of their sexual orientation, gender, religion, or race to me that’s commendable. I lost my Therapist/ Friend Mike Ator in November Of last year 11-04-24 was the day I was told he had passed away, and that news shook me to my core it was devastating heartbreaking news. I miss him greatly and that’s the kind of people that work at MCC phenomenal people who truly care and reaffirm to their clients they matter. In closing, I wholeheartedly recommend MCC to anyone who seeking services like Mental Wellness, Community groups to network, groups that meet to discuss life’s challenges, and helping people who are apart of the LGBTQ+ community by reaffirming the fact YOU MATTER 🤗 I Sincerely And Unequivocally give MCC Five Stars For being a lighthouse In Dark Times Thank You ☺️ GOD Bless 🙏🏾 !!!!!! This was the best decision I could have made for my mental wellness. Everyone has life issues and experiences. Sometimes you don’t know you need professional help until you’re in the middle of it. Well I was. I am blessed to have a support system who was on board for my self care. I researched various IOPs/PHPs that my psychiatrist suggested. The Heights Treatment sounded like the best fit for me. Based on reviews and researching the area, solidified my choice to start treatment there. So I did. From the intake for IOP5, to individual therapy sessions, to group sessions including equine therapy, to individual sessions with Dr. R, was well thought out to get this group of professionals to help people. The one who held it together with scheduling to communicating to even listening for a couple of minutes in passing, was truly a blessing. Their client care services, Adam, is kind and professional. They all make you feel welcome. Bre - my therapist, help tremendously. Various group sessions, helped me realize so much. They gave me the tools to help me reach my goals. They helped me choose to do the work. Be it daily checking in, verbalizing my emotion at the time, concerns, etc, these are the things for me, that were so beneficial in my mental wellness. Heights Treatment was a Godsend and it saved my life. I love how unique each therapist is. They have a wide variety of therapies including equine therapy, emdr, trauma processing, as well as individual and group therapy. Scheduling was easy, the staff was kind and were always available for me when I needed to talk. I'm at a loss for words for how great this place is and their team... i have extreme PTSD and akathisia and now no akathisia and plenty of new coping skills for my PTSD, some causes derived from the other psych wards I've been to for my depression and akathisia, so i was scared to come here but Menninger made me feel more at home than my own house also extremely safe too. I've had such a great experience I now consider staff my family. I'd recommend to anyone I know. they stick to the values they have but greatly exceed them. they truly love their clients... now I'm a changed man and can chase my dreams to the fullest. Thank you Menninger!! i will miss y'all...

Great place understanding staff n helpful counselors.loshandra rocks n Jarret is awesome !! Even the techs were so helpful n friendly i went in on 7-23-23 everything was good towards the end i got a couch how lucky was i to get couch AUTUMN ha she talked about my pants not being fancy enough for community saying i wasnt serious that I don’t want to b sober ( hint I was in rehab willingly) n basically ignored me wouldn’t help me get help with anything literally SHE DID NOTHING for me n the day I graduated im all proud n happy she walks up to me says “ im not gunna b ur couch, u don’t want this ur no hope bye “ I told the lady in charge she said “ she has to it’s to late , o well just go ask another couch “ other couches had already left or said they were full so while Santa Maria was great couch AUTUMN shouldn’t b a couch if that’s how she thinks while Santa Maria was setting me up for greatness the one person that’s supposed to b ur support on the outside tryed to set me up for failure n Santa Maria as a whole don’t need her mentality in a place like that ur supposed to couch help not tear us down
