My daughter was troubled and uncertain and MYA played a huge role in helping her find alternative solutions to expressing her frustrations. No parent ever wants to have to go through admitting their child to a residential treatment program. Especially one hours away. Today may be the first day, but when I say Willie Wolfe was absolutely amazing, kind, honest, understanding, non judgemental from the first phone call a week ago all the way through the admissions process. The people we interacted with was amazing and got it. The NP got it. He was so knowledgeable and understood what we have been saying for a while now. For the first time in the 2 years we have been trying to get our son help that I didnt feel like I was being judged and criticized or like I was exaggerating my child's behavior or like I am crazy. For the first time, I feel validated as a concerned parent who wants her 8 yr old to be ok. For the first time, I feel heard. The facility is clean and amazing and SAFE! As a parent in this situation and leaving their child several hours away, I feel as good as I possibly can right now.

I came here about half a year ago because I was in dcs custody, I didn't like it at first but the staff were cool and the other kids were... interesting, I had fun times there and made some friends, and I was sad and happy to leave, and now I'm making a review to say that this was overall a great place and it helped me become better, 8/10 would recommend

I love Savida in Abingdon Va. They have helped me through my journey of sobriety. They are willing to help in any way they can. Thanks to them, I am 5 years sober. I never knew my life could be this amazing, and I'm able to be a better person , and mother to my babies that I always wanted to be. And at times that it does get hard they are there. Thank you so much to everyone at Savida, I know it wasn't easy to deal with me at first, but thank you so much for your patience, and for not giving up on me. I always look forward to my visits, and the therapy always makes me feel so much better. God bless you all.

I’ve been coming here forever and Dr.Gardner is by far one of the best doctors I’ve had the pleasure having he’s attentive he remembers things he’s down to earth and he has compassion common sense and he’s understanding..AND KATIE AND ANGEL make tht place feel at home! Those ladies are constantly running around taking care of so many ppl and they still rmbr ur name and build a relationship with u make u feel comfortable and safe to b urself and I believe having a good vibe is by far the best part!! Love this place!!!

My brother has struggled with alcohol for most of his life. I think with my family we lost hope for some time. But some family friend recommended this place and we decided to take a chance. I'm so glad we did, my brother came back a different man. If you have a loved one who needs help, I highly recommend this place.

Cortnee is a great therapist. She listens, she senses how you're feeling and can adjust on the fly, she knows when to relate and gently challenge you to make a change. She makes a difference.

Everyone is so sweet and kind there. My therapist is amazing, and I’m transitions and they put my name to where I could check in as Ryleigh and that was just amazing. I defiantly recommend coming here for your mental health or anything.

The medicine doctor Jill is very understanding takes her time with you and makes sure that you're heard and understood thank you Jill! I've been struggling a good amount n the counselor I saw was pretty rude n overrunning I made it clear I didn't want her as a counselor n she made sure to change the therapist until my next apt. They're all - except that one chick- very nice and excepting here

My experience with all the staff here has always been positive! I have been coming here for 3 years, and I have always loved my therapists, I love my case manager, and the doctors and nurse practitioners are pretty good too. They are always so kind, understanding, great listeners, and offer great advice. The only downside is they seem to change staff frequently so I’ve had to change therapists like 3 times. But I have loved every single one! I don’t know why this place has so many negative reviews. I’ve always had a very positive experience. The staff here works very hard to provide services to those in the community who are less fortunate and I really appreciate that. If I could give them 10 stars I would!

What a great community resource. Staff (administration and clinical) are attentive, compassionate and really embrace community service models. Case management for when you have children with complex medical histories has proven to be an great foundation for care. I recommend for any parent whose child needs general counseling. Mental Heath is just as important as physical healthcare.
