As a professional in the industry, I had the opportunity to tour this beautiful facility. The staff was very welcoming and provided me with great details about their program as they showed me around the buildings, explaining what they could offer to the adolescents they work with. I loved the "adopt a cat" program and the equine services that they offer to their students. It was clear that their mission was to provide excellent treatment to their clients, aiming to set them up for success upon leaving.

I came to Deer Hollow carrying years of unresolved trauma and symptoms that had taken over my life. I had tried therapy before, but nothing reached the root of what I was dealing with until I walked through their doors. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel safe, grounded, and understood in a way I hadn’t experienced anywhere else. Residential treatment was intense, structured, and emotionally heavy at times — but it was also exactly what I needed. The trauma-focused work, especially IFS, helped me understand why I reacted the way I did, where my patterns came from, and how to work with the parts of myself that had been stuck for so long. The therapists were incredibly skilled, patient, and compassionate. They didn’t just teach me tools; they helped me truly heal. Moving through the step-down levels of care gave me time and support to practice what I was learning while still having a clinical team behind me. Each phase built on the one before it, and for the first time, I felt real change happening — not temporary relief, but deep, foundational healing. So far I have been attending Pomarri Treatment center for about a month at the Orem location. From silver creek to the Pomarri treatment this place is my “saving grace” . Every single person from what I can see really cares about each and every single client that walks through that door. I have been to a handful of treatments throughout my addiction and by far this one is the best. I literally look forward to coming to group!!! In a month I have learned so many crucial and valuable skills already, from coping skills, DBT skills and really life skills . I’m excited to see what the rest of my journey will be here but one thing is for sure if you are looking for a treatment that’s different from the traditional treatments that takes medicaid then give Pomarri a shot !!

Maple Mountain Recovery in Utah completely exceeded my expectations. From day one, their team created a highly personalized treatment plan tailored just for me—every session felt tailored to my needs. What really sets them apart is the way they seamlessly blend healing with genuine care and enjoyable experiences. Between therapy sessions, I had options like yoga, cold plunges in nature, art therapy, acupuncture, and many therapeutic adventures. It felt like real recovery, not just treatment. The staff is amazingly attentive—every single team member knew my name, remembered my goals, and checked in regularly to see how I was doing. They made sure I felt supported 100% of the time and built an environment that was both professional and warm. If you’re looking for a recovery center that cares deeply, customizes your journey, and injects a dose of fun and relaxation into the process—Maple Mountain Recovery is it. Highly recommend!

I recently had a surgical procedure at the surgical center within Mountain View Hospital in Payson, Utah, and I can't say enough good things about my experience! From the moment I arrived, the entire staff made me feel like I was their top priority. They were incredibly personable, taking the time to chat with me, answer all my questions, and ease any pre-surgery nerves with genuine warmth and kindness. What stood out most was how caring and attentive everyone was—nurses checked in frequently, ensuring I was comfortable every step of the way, and the doctors and support team explained everything clearly without rushing. The process was remarkably fast and efficient, yet never felt hurried; everything ran smoothly from check-in to recovery. Their professionalism was top-notch, with state-of-the-art facilities and a team that clearly knows what they're doing. In a world where healthcare can sometimes feel impersonal, Mountain View truly lives up to its commitment to treating patients like family. I left feeling well taken care of and recovered quickly thanks to their expertise. If you're in the Payson area and need surgical care, this is the place to go—I highly recommend it without any hesitation! Thank you to the amazing team for making a stressful day so positive. Dr. Anderson is an amazing doctor and work extra hard getting my insurance to approve my nerve stimulater battery replacement and I also want to give a big shout-out to Samantha Bates his office coordinator she a was a huge help in getting this procedure across the finish line. The Pathways inpatient facility gave me more than physical safety and care—it gave me something I had never truly known before: true emotional safety. The entire staff worked together to help me grow in the three areas of life that must be engaged—mind, body, and spirit. I walked in carrying a heavy prejudice against all men, but it was three men in particular who ended up aiding me the most, showing me that at our core, we really are all just human. My main therapist, Daryl, guided me through reshaping my mindset and digging into my past to uncover my deepest wounds. He stood by me on one of the most emotionally painful days of my life, and I will never forget Destiny—one of the incredible nurses—literally running after him as he was about to head home, just so he could be there for me in that moment. Dr. Sellers provided me with the best medical care I could have asked for. He never rushed through visits, always taking the time to explain not just what he was doing, but why—making sure I understood and felt safe with my treatment. I also want to thank Dawn, a powerhouse nurse who believed in my strength even when I couldn’t see it myself, and who pushed me to rise to the challenge. Michael Ryan gave me the gift of faith and clarity in my higher power. He challenged me in ways I desperately needed, helping me confront the destructive core beliefs that caused me so much suffering and turn them upside down. He gave me the tools to question my own thoughts, and to approach them with both curiosity and compassion. Somehow, even in the middle of facing the hardest truths, he still managed to make me laugh and feel safe. I would also like to thank Lonnie, whose powerful meditation sessions left a deep impact on me. His encouragement meant so much because it came from a place of such authenticity. To all of you—thank you not just for changing my life, but for teaching me how to truly live it to the fullest.

There are many wonderful organizations and people in service to helping others with treatment and recovery. For me, the right fit was, is, and will continue to be Pathways. These folks are authentic in their desire to help change lives. They are some of the most remarkable humans I have been blessed with coming across in life. They are talented and skilled, and well equipped to meet mental health and substance abuse needs. They are particularly experienced with integrating well-rounded trauma focused treatment, using a variety of evidence based treatment modalities. Pathways staff AND clients create a safe space of healing and growth, and a place of acceptance and belonging, and without judgement. As a pathways client, I feel a sense of unity, community, and unyielding support. Pathways has LITERALLY saved my life. They have helped me find healing, and open doors to change my life. They have equipped me with the confidence, strength, tools, and understanding of my root influences to my recovery needs to live a new life, my best life! A life of healing and happiness I have never experienced before. I will be in eternal gratitude for this very sacred organization. Schedule a consult... you have nothing to lose and only a healthy and happy life to gain. You are not alone. There IS hope!

Steps was the first place I've ever gone to treatment and it was well worth it, so far it's saved my relationship with my wife, my family and myself. The staff is extremely kind and caring and just wants to help however in order for them to do so you have to be 110% open and willing to put in the work yourself. If your looking into treatment this may help you so you know what your going into and what you can bring. Blankets and pillows from home. You can vape and smoke (don't flush vapes down the toilet or you'll lose your privileges for everyone it almost happened). You can have food and candy (no energy drinks). Family nights every other week on Tuesdays. Black out period is 5 days (no phone calls). Very scheduled, you'll be going from 8am to 8pm every day but it passes time quickly. Just a few things that made my time easier, so if your looking into becoming a better you, this is the place to start.

I was here for about 3 months, then was in sober living briefly, before going back out. Even though I relapsed, I have never seen a more personable and available and real group of people willing to help you. I put you guys through some SHIT. Especially you Tina. Lol. The therapists are good, but only human. Theyll crack you open good. The real question I suppose is was I better off having come here? Absolutely. But in the end I had to assess whether I was really doing what I wanted. I regret leaving. But I also needed to figure some things out for myself. I miss the community. And dont think they are in it for the money. They arent. They were willijg to pay for all my housing, keep me extra time, and let me stay even when there was no way I should have been able to. Thank you Mark, Todd, Kirk, Dee, CHRISTIAN, and Tina, and all of the therapists. Im currently in detox and really trying to get my life in order. Wasatch is worth every cent because of Todd he told me that I was recovered the day I stopped using drugs. He is one of the greatest minds the Recovery community has. I am writing this from a hyperbaric and still sober. I didn't stay the whole time but I got what I needed. As a veteran in the opiate epidemic and a 20+ time rehab connoisseur. I can say Todd one talk with him brought more healing and more recovery than hundreds of meetings, doing the 12 steps and thousand hours of treatment groups. Find your people. Be of service. Give back. Heal your body. Up north there's a hyperbaric and wellness in ogden ran by a beautiful women named Mel who is also phenomenal human. If you go there try the tesla coil. It is a phenomenal for balacing your energy. I truly believe addicts are healers and if we can conquer our addiction we can light . Anyways thanks for coming to my ted talk

Sending my daughter to a residential treatment center was one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make as a parent, and I was incredibly apprehensive at first. However, our experience with New Haven’s Stabilization & Assessment Program far exceeded every expectation I had. I am genuinely grateful for the level of care, support, and communication we received from day one. The clinical director and my daughter’s therapist, Cassi, was truly exceptional. Cassi built trust with my daughter in a way I had not seen before, and knowing that my daughter felt safe going to her with anything meant everything to me. The clinical leadership made sure I understood every step of the process, and they took my concerns seriously from the moment we arrived. Their professionalism, compassion, and genuine investment in my daughter’s well-being stood out immediately. The nursing staff was just as incredible. They consistently went above and beyond to ensure her safety, monitor her needs, and communicate with me about even the smallest changes or questions. There was never a moment when I felt out of the loop. Whether it was a medical update or a quick check-in, their communication was consistent, thoughtful, and reassuring. I could always reach someone when I needed to, and I never once felt like my daughter wasn’t in excellent hands. One of the biggest strengths of New Haven’s program is how thorough, individualized, and comprehensive their assessment process is. They provided the most detailed psychological evaluation my daughter has ever received, and for the first time, I truly felt like her experiences, symptoms, and struggles were understood with depth and accuracy. They paid attention to nuances that are so often overlooked by other providers, and those insights have already transformed how I support her at home. Despite some negative reviews in the past, our experience was nothing short of outstanding. The program is thoughtfully designed, tailored to each child’s needs, and grounded in compassion and clinical expertise. I felt supported at every turn; not just my daughter, but me as a parent navigating an overwhelming situation. My daughter made meaningful progress during her three months there, and the foundation they helped her build is something she continues to benefit from today. I am sincerely grateful for the entire team at New Haven, and I would not hesitate to recommend this program to any family whose child needs this level of care. They truly changed our lives for the better.

The team of therapists, relational coaches, medical staff, and teachers was all needed to create a safety bubble around our teen while she experienced a real and present storm in her life requiring therapy (individual, group, & family therapy). After 12 months of school and therapy, she was able to actually complete high school early and has launched successfully into her college experience. Thankfully, New Haven offers aftercare options to make the transition bearable- it is a lot to transition from a safety bubble to college life. We appreciate the deep care from all the staff, including the cook and night staff, who all make themselves available to the kiddos when a listening ear is needed. The reason for 4 stars was because we would’ve like to see more daily physical activity included in the program for a healthy lifestyle. However, there were parent weekends to national parks and many outdoor opportunities. In summary, New Haven aims at making families whole and we were blessed to be one of those families.

The depth of the program and the quality of the people had a profoundly positive impact on our daughter and our family. I’m extremely thankful that we found this place. We still stay in touch with multiple families that we met through the program. My daughter supported my writing this review which says everything. These are good people doing good work.

I was thinking about my time at Reflections today and realized I’ve never left a review. This place is a god send. It truly saved my life, multiple times. The staff genuinely cares about your well being and they push you to do things that you never thought you’d be able to accomplish. They gave me hope and love when I felt unworthy of either. For the rest of my life I will be thankful for everything this amazing treatment center and the loving people that work there did for me in my darkest days. If you are lost, tired & need help getting sober, this is the place to go.

This was the best treatment experience I’ve ever had and I have been to several other ones in Utah. The family atmosphere and the amazing staff who genuinely care and always had my best interests at heart, the case management team were amazing at helping me to figure out a safe place to live and aftercare, the medical staff especially Sarah!! were amazing at helping me find the right medications and make sure I was sleeping well and feeling good and I can’t say enough about the clinical team!! I changed my life at reflections and I would recommend it for anyone who wants to get real solid treatment and not just a vacation!! Thank you Dustin and all the staff!!

My brother Joshua was fortunate enough to be able to stay here for 40 days. He's doing so much better, he's sober and hopeful. He was released prematurely due to insurance/paperwork error, and Jeremy and Darrin were so kind and understanding. My brother has said nothing but positive things about the environment and the way he was treated. He feels that he was seen. He feels heard. He feels understood. We will always be thankful for his care, and his future now seems so promising. Thank you to everyone who runs and operates this safe haven. 🙏

Utah Addiction Centers truly saved my life. When I arrived, I was so spiritually bankrupt. I was truly a mess. I was battling my Mother's death and my Fiancé suicide. By the time I graduated the program, I was a strong empowered woman who found her center and spirituality again. I was transferred to Active Recovery in Centerville. I went from being homeless and hopeless to getting my own place and employment I love. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all of the counselors and support personnel. This is a safe place of healing and love. Hope starts here! I recommend it to anyone who wants to start over. One phone call could change your life, it did mine. I will be eternally grateful 🙏 🥲

Past client here, I spend almost two months at JMCR and during that time I was able to make so much progress to become the person I always wanted to be. JMCR allowed me to see my strengths and find love for myself, It taught me just how compassionate I really am and the impact that I have on others. Reggie and his team are experts in their field and work tirelessly (with love) to affect positive change in their clients. I remember on one occasion some of the staff were just reflecting on the emotional energy of time and tears started to well in their eyes. They told us how they just want the best for us and truly were expressing just how much they cared. Where other treatment programs might be punitive, JMCR takes a different approach to build you up with respect and compassion to help you find your strengths. Nothing could have helped me more than how JMCR helped me. I will be thankful for it for the rest of my life and I will never forget the people I met along the way! It’s important to note that I tried other treatment centers and they didn’t quite work… GO WITH JMCR you won’t regret it!

The staff are amazing they all care and didn't allow me to cross boundaries which is what I needed to start living in my values. Like any program u will get out what u put in. They won't make u be sober and get better we have to make our selves happy and healthy. Amazing program though, highly recommend Steps for people serious about sobriety and loving themselves.
