My daughter attended this facility through high school until she graduated. All in all a positive experience. She liked it there. Definitely had some issues that required disciplinary action but nothing too harsh. They were a bit understaffed for therapists at the time to the point where the then-director became my daughter's therapist. Aside from that, no real complaints. Would recommend.

I was blessed enough to communicate with John at Embark and though we have completed all the processes and we are having to wait to get something’s in place, John was able to get my daughter an amazing insurance plan and get us completely ready for treatment! His communication skills and commitment to help others is beyond what I have come to expect in healthcare professionals. I’m so grateful, impressed, and thankful for John!!! Someone very close to me received treatment at Silver Sands Recovery and the transformation has been unbelievable. The staff treated them with dignity, compassion, and genuine care from day one.

My daughter was spiraling downward and we had very few options left. SSA accepted her on short notice. We were hesitant but hopeful, and 6 months later she is home and doing better than I could have imagined. The staff has been amazing; frequent communication and to have the open door policy to visit was such a change from her former RTC. It's only been a few weeks since graduating the program but she is doing well. I am thankful for their work with her and recommend for parents and girls who ate struggling.

Sedona SKY Academy is under new ownership and I am very impressed with their nurturing and supportive environment. A lot of the students come to the academy after they have experienced extreme trauma, and majority of their tuition is paid by their insurance company. It is an all-girls academy, they live on campus and attend year round school.

Very frustrating when you go in for a counseling appointment and they tell you 10min into the session they have to reschedule because of an emergency. Only to come in for the rescheduled appointment and be told that it needs to be rescheduled yet again because the counselor was scheduled for a group session. Very unfair to us clients that had these appointments. Even more frustrating when the front desk asks if you’re carrying a weapon before they tell you the appointment was cancelled.

I can't say enough good things about ATMC! This place honestly changed my life. I have bipolar II disorder. Before coming to ATMC my meds had clunked out on me for almost 3 years and I was desperate to get help. I had been trying different medications and nothing was working. My depressive episodes got so severe to the point that I could no longer work. I knew that I needed to seek alternative help but did not know where to go. Every psychiatrist just kept upping or changing my medications and to no avail. I was tired of being a slave to psychotropics. My family found ATMC and when I was ready to go, they got me in immediately. This place is like no other. In the US, where it is common practice to be dependent on medication as an individual with bipolar disorder and to oftentimes be debilitated and unable to work, ATMC provided a completely different option for me! At ATMC they focus on a more holistic method of detoxing and nourishing the body. We went to the "detox shop" 5 days a week where we did sauna for hours, cold plunge, ionic footbaths, massage, reiki, sound healing, foot reflexology and IV treatments. They put you on a supplement protocol. This includes many different supplements a day which are hard to take at first but when you understand the benefit of these supplements, you begin to take them happily! I also loved the groups and my therapist, Christine. You meet with your therapist twice a week. Christine was incredible, very skilled and the most empathic therapist I have ever had. They also take you out daily into town for walking/hiking and Sedona is by far one of the most beautiful places I have ever encountered! No wonder everyone comes to Sedona for healing. It's magical. They also feed you a "serotonin-building diet" that is packed with all kinds of veggies (they provide protein as well) and the 4 female chefs there are incredible! By far, the most significant aspect of ATMC and what really touched me the most is the incredible staff! Every single one of them! They are all the most authentic, genuine, loving and caring people. I do not know how they managed to get all of these amazing people in one place! They will help change your life! During my time at ATMC, I got off one of my medications and substantially lowered another one. The psychiatrist helps taper you down weekly and the naturopathic doctor and detox specialist ensure that you are taking the right supplements to support you. It's been a while since my stay and I am so blessed to say that I am stable and back to living a full life again. I continue to take the supplements that are shipped to me monthly. If you are considering an alternate way of healing your body and mind, I highly recommend this place!

I went there when I was 16. Some of the staff were nice but particularly a few were not. Nesia would choose favorites and gossip like a little girl, and would purposefully exclude the others. The staff would have problems with each other, and often time then not, we (the girls) were mishandled. The therapist there were good though!

I went here from January 2021 to May 2022. If you want your daughter to truly succeed and get better, do not send her here, or to any of these programs. They are all money hungry, unregulated, problem causing programs. Sure you could say I became a "better person". But to become that "better" version, I was gaslit and emotionally abused. If I learned anything, it was how to appear as others want me to. Which is the opposite of what you want. Positive reviews are from parents who have been brainwashed or friends and family of the programs owners. People tend to not believe survivors. But believe these ones in the reviews.

I have nothing but good things to say about Steps Recovery center in St. George. These people really do care about you, you aren't treated as just another client. Almost all staff are recovering addicts, so they definitely "get it". I highly recommend checking them out. They got me right into a bed from detox. Matr isnt a ordinary rehab program ..although 12 step program is in the curriculum it is a small portion of the rehabilitation process ...the staff and counselors have all been patients or in recovery themselves. When first walking thru the door u feel as if u just got to ur favorite aunt or relatives house u would visit yearly..you know the ones who never judged u but always made sure u knew when u were *€!@&÷? I had a very good experience here and am happy I was recommended to come. The staff are very helpful, caring, and truly compassionate with each individuals needs. The majority of them go above and beyond to keep the patients happy, help with any outside obligations that need to be addressed, and to provide a safe/comfortable environment. I am so glad I decided to come here for my first step into recovery.

Got in the way of me getting into a residential treatment center. I never even heard of this place and all of a sudden they decide whether or not I can use my Medicaid....tried to get answers for over a week they don't even return phone calls ...they really messed me up...I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy extremely unprofessional

Jessica has been an absolute Godsend to my son and I. I was desperate for help for my son and I was completely lost on how to help him. This place is technically a "corrections facility" but isn't run like one. Sure, they have rules and the corrections technicians do their job well but the caring that goes into the work there with the people makes it feel more like a caring community than a jail setting.
