When I sent my Godson to Liahona Academy, it was the hardest decision that I ever made. He has recently graduated, and I now know that it was also the best decision that I ever made. He struggled in the beginning, but once he finally understood that I only wanted him to become a better person, he started making changes. He is now ahead in school, has great grades, and an excellent relationship with anyone that he wants to have a relationship with. I can guarantee that if you sent your son here and you give him time to figure it out, he eventually will, and you will never regret your decision. My Godson came out of Liahona academy as a completely transformed man.
He was a child with all kinds of manipulative “techniques”. Now he is a reborn man, a man who is honest and sincere, a man who you can count on to be a positive leader and have a great attitude.

Son wasn’t let get a phone call during the entire process despite checking he was on the list which he was for Thursday. He never got a call, bht’s didn’t seem to care when he asked. While being in treatment he got RSV which now me and him are dealing with, when he told the nurses he couldn’t breathe and his throat hurts they gave him a mask and a cough drop and one nurse even bragged about having 30 years of nursing experience while understating my son. He’s 18 and also has asthma along with the stuggles of addiction along with RSV now. And as the son I can say every patient was unhappy and felt as if it was a prison, I felt the same. If you want rehab go to the ones in Santa Fe I hear their nice.

TCRHCC was my clinic/ hospital since childhood. Early 2018, was referred transfer to Kayenta Clinic: since then been medically treated well: dental, ENT, and several ER visits. Received my Provider, she's great: referrals to other medical updates - she got departments calling me fir schedules that I needed done. Now waiting for appointment dates to arrive and getting them done.
At TCRHCC, was fine with the facility until a short time before being transferred - my doctor informed me by stating, "I have over 200 patients a week, so I only have 7 minutes to see to a you, and you look fine to me." And he left the exam room. I had a bad infected ear. Yes, he did come in and he didn't even do an exam on my ear, no medication, very unprofessional and very rude Oriental Doctor. I went to the an office to request a transfer to another clinic or hospital that same day. I now am satisfied with my medical services. I thank God for the right medical doctors and their facilities . Keeping them in prayers.

Wonderful people.

Gave birth mid august my care team was great! The entire OB ward did a fabulous job after a lengthy labor. Super attentive. Very respectful. Though this hospital could be updated, the rooms were clean! Thank-you to the staff for taking care of me and my first baby! My son and his 3 friends got in terrible accident with a semi truck on the way home from North rim yesterday. The staff at Tuba City could not have been nicer. The boys had serious and various injuries, one sent by ambulance to Flagstaff. But all 3 were treated expertly and kindly. And with God's grace they will all recover. My daughter attended this facility through high school until she graduated. All in all a positive experience. She liked it there. Definitely had some issues that required disciplinary action but nothing too harsh. They were a bit understaffed for therapists at the time to the point where the then-director became my daughter's therapist. Aside from that, no real complaints. Would recommend.

My personal experience: I was 16 when I went and I have to admit my behavior was definitely different when I got out. It taught me discipline and respect for myself and others. I learned to make decisions starting from personal responsibility to educational opportunities. I definitely recommend this place.
I fought back the first few weeks and maybe even months but it’s like a wild horse who had trauma, they are eventually going to learn and it’s going to take time.
I recommend! I would go back for the discipline and scheduled order they have.

I went to Falcon as I was struggling with addiction and depression. Although it was tough some moments (as life is) being there was such a healing experience. The staff was so genuine and I made friends I still keep in contact with to this day. I graduated the program and received my diploma with the help of the teachers there. So thankful my parents sent me to Falcon.

It has been a while since I’ve been at reflections so I cannot speak for how it is today. Let that be known. While I was at reflections, mind you I’ve been there twice, they always have some of the best house managers. If there is one good thing to say about the place it is that. What caught my eye was how the main office was run. And who was running it. I watched staff HUMILIATE clients in front of all the other clients for making mistakes and for not doing what they were suppose to. I’ve watched them give medicine to the wrong client/person on more than one occasion. Often times they will lie and manipulate to get you as a client. They will say or do anything to get you to come to there rehab over others.
If you or a loved one is battling addiction, TAKE THEM ELSEWHERE! I promise they will be more comfortable doing this thing at another rehab. Lots of good rehabs in Prescott. These guys are not one of them. All about the money to them.
PS: most of these 5 star reviews are from dudes who work there or are family to people who work there. Anything they can do to make money. 👊 TBH I would shout in excitement if this place got shut down. Yes. It is that bad. You can compare this place to a fraternity hazing. No exaggeration. Honestly. This place needs sued a good couple times.

This company is super dishonest. They told me my insurance wouldn’t be paying for appointments anymore. Then within a week then recanted saying they could bill the insurance. After I paid for all the remaining visits I had scheduled. Just under $300.00. I was told I would be getting a refund. That was almost three months ago now. I’ve provided proof of payment their original receipt and nothing. I even filed a dispute with the card holder which somehow they fought and won? I still don’t have my money but they are for sure charging my insurance. Oh yes the real kicker is I don’t have a choice about going here. They are contracted with the state.

This used to be a decent VA office. Being of "service" to those who have served is not only NOT a priority with these people since Dr. Lowe left, a few of them act like it's an imposition. It seems the front desk clerks job is to argue with you, make sure you can't get an appointment or even a call back. The woman serving in Dr Lowe's place (who is not a doctor) lied to me about updating my prescriptions! She can't even do that simple thing! Forget about any kind of follow up on anything. A couple of the nurses and the lab gal are great but the rest could care less about veterans.

I came to MATR after getting arrested at 42 years old. I had been using since age 19. I was a patient in 1999 and celebrated 18 years of continuous sobriety this last April. I am looking forward to my 19th birthday in April. I have my children and grandchildren in my life. I have been employed full time since getting clean and sober. The information I learned at MATR has given me so many new coping methods to life's problem. I have had several family members go to MATR also. Before MATR, my addiction imprisoned me in the deepest and darkest corner of the worst kind of hell imaginable. I wanted nothing less than to cry myself to sleep. Only I knew once I closed my eyes I would be able to see the monster I had become. The idea of facing this monster was absolutely paralyzing. At MATR, I began to look at within. With MATR’s unique multiple approach I began to heal myself. Now, I love what I see.Today, I believe in myself. Now, with the new outpatient facility in Orem, Utah, I have been able to return home with a solid aftercare plan and continue a successful recovery.

My daughter was spiraling downward and we had very few options left. SSA accepted her on short notice. We were hesitant but hopeful, and 6 months later she is home and doing better than I could have imagined. The staff has been amazing; frequent communication and to have the open door policy to visit was such a change from her former RTC. It's only been a few weeks since graduating the program but she is doing well. I am thankful for their work with her and recommend for parents and girls who ate struggling.

Sedona SKY Academy is under new ownership and I am very impressed with their nurturing and supportive environment. A lot of the students come to the academy after they have experienced extreme trauma, and majority of their tuition is paid by their insurance company. It is an all-girls academy, they live on campus and attend year round school.

Long story short but I was first dosing and then ended up switching from the other methadone clinic to here (other one was horrible) let me tell you this place is TOP NOTCH. They actually care about your recovery and will work with you if you are having issues with payments or anything that is holding you back from getting your methadone. The program director is new her name is Lauren and she ROCKS if you have any issues go straight to her and she will listen and get you answers. She is a straight shooter no bs Director and I appreciate that. As long as you’re 100% honest with her she will work with you. In the beginning of my recovery I was sick and not in the best head space and made some poor choices over a spans of 2 days and I was welcomed back with open arms because HONESTY and MAT works!!

I can't say enough good things about ATMC! This place honestly changed my life. I have bipolar II disorder. Before coming to ATMC my meds had clunked out on me for almost 3 years and I was desperate to get help. I had been trying different medications and nothing was working. My depressive episodes got so severe to the point that I could no longer work. I knew that I needed to seek alternative help but did not know where to go. Every psychiatrist just kept upping or changing my medications and to no avail. I was tired of being a slave to psychotropics. My family found ATMC and when I was ready to go, they got me in immediately. This place is like no other. In the US, where it is common practice to be dependent on medication as an individual with bipolar disorder and to oftentimes be debilitated and unable to work, ATMC provided a completely different option for me! At ATMC they focus on a more holistic method of detoxing and nourishing the body. We went to the "detox shop" 5 days a week where we did sauna for hours, cold plunge, ionic footbaths, massage, reiki, sound healing, foot reflexology and IV treatments. They put you on a supplement protocol. This includes many different supplements a day which are hard to take at first but when you understand the benefit of these supplements, you begin to take them happily! I also loved the groups and my therapist, Christine. You meet with your therapist twice a week. Christine was incredible, very skilled and the most empathic therapist I have ever had. They also take you out daily into town for walking/hiking and Sedona is by far one of the most beautiful places I have ever encountered! No wonder everyone comes to Sedona for healing. It's magical. They also feed you a "serotonin-building diet" that is packed with all kinds of veggies (they provide protein as well) and the 4 female chefs there are incredible! By far, the most significant aspect of ATMC and what really touched me the most is the incredible staff! Every single one of them! They are all the most authentic, genuine, loving and caring people. I do not know how they managed to get all of these amazing people in one place! They will help change your life! During my time at ATMC, I got off one of my medications and substantially lowered another one. The psychiatrist helps taper you down weekly and the naturopathic doctor and detox specialist ensure that you are taking the right supplements to support you. It's been a while since my stay and I am so blessed to say that I am stable and back to living a full life again. I continue to take the supplements that are shipped to me monthly. If you are considering an alternate way of healing your body and mind, I highly recommend this place!

I recently left Forte Strong and am currently residing in St. George. I have a great job now and a chance to move up in my company by going to graduate school. Forte Strong was very tough in the beginning and to be completely honest, I actually hated it. I felt like everyone was against me, including the director. I thought they were just trying to make me jump through meaningless hoops. I was tired, depressed, anxious, and had very little self confidence. In a fit of frustration, I vented to one of my housemates the director wasn’t helping and was actually making it worse. The guy said the director’s methods will all make sense in the end. Obviously, at the time, I blew that off as utter nonsense. A month or so later, I was having a lot of anxiety and the director supported me in my time of need in a way that was quite unfamiliar to me at the time. I was shocked. He did care and not only that, he believed in my strength and resilience. My opinions of him changed almost immediately. He became my biggest mentor in the program. I went to him for problems I may have had, how I could have handled this situation differently, how I could have a better relationship with my parents, etc. He was there for me and I was ready to listen. In a matter of 5 and half months, my relationship with one of my parents changed drastically, a feat I thought was near impossible and hopeless when I entered the program. My resilience increased, my self confidence increased because I was doing well at work, and I had more trust in my abilities. Everything was changing for the better. I was going to be fine. I also made countless friends along the way, people that I will still keep in contact with for a while. I have also dealt with challenging people in the program, people who I really didn’t care for and who didn’t really align with my values. The program director mentored me through dealing with difficult people. It was an uphill battle, but it is all about learning. Now, I’m not going to say that this program is for everyone. It definitely is not. There is a stark contrast between the people who actually want to be there and to work on themselves and the people who feel forced by their parents. I was fortunately the former. And as I sit in my new apartment in St. George on a bright Saturday morning, I want to say thank you Brook for all you have done for me.

It is not an experience that is right for everyone but it has made a big difference for a family member. My thoughts: If you are looking for traditional heavy therapy environment focused on diagnosis and medication management this is not for your family member. Forte has therapy and medication management but it is not the core of what they do. It is a small piece of it and one that I think has opportunity to be improved upon. That being said, not why you come here. If you have a young man who cannot move forward to adulthood responsibilities regardless of the cause this may be for your family. I say may because there is really no way to predict if this formula is the right one. For our family member, routine, coaching, basic skills for healthy living and independence were that formula. A real differentiator here is the obligation to work during the program. It is not just an obligation but central to success. That, plus the independence gained riding and owning a motor scooter ( something I could never have imagined) made a huge impact. The coaches are kind, empathetic but tough and direct and the same time. They are practical and this coupled with the simplicity of life in St. George are also very helpful. My family member has chosen to remain in St. George and is is moving out on his own, has a nice job and is on the road to a professional career that feels more in line with his interests. His stress is vastly improved, as is depression and he has better interactions with his family than before. Opportunities exist with the therapy and communication with parents. It is not perfect but the Director is amazing and open to feedback. At the end of the day they genuinely care and work hard purely in the interests of these young men. It is expensive but if the behavior I see now sustains itself - well worth it.
