Complex Trauma rears its ugly head without warning, oftentimes a slow boil over years. Choosing Sabino Recovery was the best decision I made to finally and thoroughly address the past so it can stop determining my future. The team of professional therapists, psychiatry, neurofeedback, naturopathy, sleep, somatic, and nursing all worked together to address the different areas needing treatment. It’s not one thing, it’s not one pill, it’s not one secret weapon. What Sabino has put together to treat C-PTSD is outstanding and has put me on the path to create a new life. Stop looking and call them.

Dear Friends at The Arc,
I am writing this letter to express my deepest and sincerest gratitude for the life you have given back to me.
When I was facing a potential prison sentence of 16.5 years, your organization stepped in. Your team’s tireless advocacy and commitment to my case were instrumental, and I will never forget your work in the courtroom.
Because of your efforts, I was able to walk away with a sentence of five years probation. This outcome was nothing short of a miracle for me.
Today, my life is full of promises and great gifts. I wake up every day with a profound sense of hope and opportunity that I would not have without your intervention.
The Arc is more than just an organization; it is a place of love, care, and true consideration for those who are most in need. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for giving me my life back.
Sincerely,
Joaquin

This journey will not be easy. Most of the time it won’t be fun. You will doubt yourself in the beginning.
The first step is taking action. Removing yourself from your environment, and introducing an environment conducive for success.
Sierra Tuscon is such a place.
You will meet people from all walks of life. Some more committed than others. You will see people fail. You will see desperation. You will see pain.
But you will also see success. People giving it their all. People committed to helping others. People doing what needs to be done to make themselves and the world they live in a better place.
You will meet people you wish you didn’t have to live without. Make friendships that will last a lifetime. You may even be motivated to change your entire life to feel more of what you felt at Sierra Tuscon.
My advice is you take that first step. There’s no where better to make it happen!

I love the VA medical center here. I feel I have been given excellent care. Everyone is nice and respectful. I’ve only lived in Tucson for less than a year but have had some medical problems and they have done a good job taking care of me. Plus they have an ER.
For primary care I use one of the VA satellite clinics. My PCP is Dr. Mikolajczak. I can’t pronounce his name well but he’s a great guy and a vet himself.
My dentist Dr. Berry is wonderful. My hand surgeon Dr Roa is the best. My audiologist Miss Erin is the nicest person ever! The ancillary staff is awesome. They even have a popcorn machine in the lobby and they have just about every clinic imaginable plus an optic shop & a store and several places to get food.
Yes, it’s hard to find parking close to the buildings but they have a tram. Yes, the buildings are a maze but they have volunteers everywhere to help you find where you need to go. If you’re walking down a hall & look confused invariably someone will stop you and ask if you need help.
You may read some complaints in the reviews but you need to look at the big picture. This is a large facility with people doing their best to help veterans. I much rather come here than go out on community care. I have been offered civilian referrals several times but I much rather wait to get seen at the VA.
Thank you Tucson VA.

Although I have never written a review on a doctor before, I believe it is warranted in this situation. Dr. Nallicheri S. Venkataramanan is a highly skilled orthopedics doctor who works at the Veterans Affairs hospital in Tucson, Arizona. I met him over 20 years ago when he did my first total knee replacement. Recently, he performed my first and hopefully last right hip replacement. I must admit that I have never encountered anyone with such exceptional skills and a positive attitude towards patients. I had the privilege of going to rehab at this facility and it completely changed my life! The staff there truly cares about their clients and the program they run is solid! The owner Nick Jones is one of the most caring people I have ever met! He was always there for us and still is. The family liaisons Ally and Erika are such sweethearts and have the clients best intentions at heart! Their crew of case managers, Paola, Marcus, Will and Chris, are so knowledgeable in recovery and have taught me so much! They truly love what they do and care about their clients! As well as their team of therapists, Yvonne, Peter, Sam and Craig! They help each of us on a case by case basis truly getting to the root to f ourselves and the issues we weren't dealing with in our addictions. Can't forget Brian, the assistant director or Kristy, the ATFM supervisor and medical assistant. They both do so much for all of the clients at RIM. The support staff here at Recovery In Motion is also always there for the clients and cares a lot about all of them. Mike and Sonya in ATFM are always there for the clients too. Everyone at Recovery In Motion wants what's best for all of their clients and strives to do their very best for all of them. I love them all and I love this program! It helped save my life so that I can now stay clean and sober and mend and rebuild so many damaged relationships I've had due to my addiction. THANK YOU RECOVERY IN MOTION FOR ALL THAT YOU HAVE DONE FOR ME AND SO MANY OTHERS AND THANK YOU FOR WHAT YOU WILL CONTINUE TO DO!!!
