My son and his 3 friends got in terrible accident with a semi truck on the way home from North rim yesterday. The staff at Tuba City could not have been nicer. The boys had serious and various injuries, one sent by ambulance to Flagstaff. But all 3 were treated expertly and kindly. And with God's grace they will all recover. Thank you Tuba City for helping us on an extremely difficult day. God bless you all

It’s been a very difficult journey and I’m beyond grateful to have found Estil Wallace and Cornerstone. I’m a graduate school student, intern, and entrepreneur. I work in behavioral health and I was having a really hard time finding a safe space to focus on my own recovery. I attended the Tuesday night men’s stag meeting and IMMEDIATELY felt at ease. It’s an AMAZING men’s AA meeting. Very clearly literature-based and solution-oriented. Not only is the building IMMACULATE but I saw men reading Big Books and doing Step Work. I had to work through a lot of trauma and a lot of grief before I felt comfortable enough to go anywhere besides therapy and the gym. As soon as I got to Cornerstone, I felt SAFE. I made that meeting my home group right then and there. Thank you guys for all that you do. You’re amazing people doing amazing things and I’m grateful to have been invited to attend that meeting.

The organization believes in providing expert | Treatments Programs Payment Options | Obviously, no one comes here (particularly the first time) when everything in his or her life is going perfectly and all of his or her hopes and dreams have just come true. If you find yourself in need of CMS you are probably at or below rock bottom. Furthermore, I would think it would go without saying that to be an employee of CMS or any similar business, one would have to be kind, patient, and understanding but as anyone who has ever been to the Cactus location will undoubtedly confirm, that isn't the case. I was at Cactus for less than one month, but have witnessed first-hand as well as through friends who have been going there for years, that nearly the entire staff at that location seem to hate their jobs only slightly less than they hate their clients. Rude, disrespectful, and in some cases what can only be described as intentionally cruel and bordering on sadistic was what I came to expect from CMS, until moving to this location on the corner of 23rd Avenue and Northern. Here, the opposite is true as I have witnessed all the best qualities humanity has to offer from nearly everyone on staff. This includes the receptionists at the front desk, through the nurses, providers and counselors, not only towards me but generally to all people who are the most in need of such compassion and yet are often the least likely to receive it from a society that has been taught to see people suffering this affliction and instead judge them to be undesirables, criminals, or worse. In particular, Bea at the front desk and Kaleen, my counselor need to be recognized. Even when surrounded by other people demonstrating the correct way to treat those in need of help and support, Bea and Kaleen manage to distinguish themselves with their empathy and warmth. If you should ever find yourself in need of a place like CMS, you will be hard-pressed to discover anywhere more welcoming and less judgemental. Neither will you find a staff more compassionate, nor are you likely to encounter people who more embody the traits we should honestly expect from everyone in a health care field. While it would be nice if services like this were no longer needed, I couldn't be more pleased to have found this CMS location at a point where I couldn't have needed them more.
Just one last thing to add. I noticed more 1-star reviews for this location than I would have expected. When I investigated this a little further, I discovered that all but two of the negative reviews were from at least six years ago and one of the two "newer" poor reviews was two years old. If you were swayed by the criticism, I hope you now believe (as I do) that the problems that apparently plagued this location were in the past. It truly does appear that they have taken the past critiques seriously, have addressed those issues, and now run a clinic with nearly perfect ratings. While I was initially distressed to see so many low scores after posting my honest, very flattering opinion of this CMS, especially after making the point that the kindness and compassion I witnessed wasn't only directed at me, I am relieved to learn that the overwhelming majority of those scores were from a time before I started coming here. I also now wonder if several or many employees moved from this location to Cactus five to seven years ago...

I came in feeling lost and honestly didn’t expect much, but the structure, support, and community completely changed that.

I’ve seen a lot of treatment centers come and go, but TLC in Mesa really stands out. The program is structured and holds you accountable, but there’s also genuine care behind the rules. The staff meets you where you’re at, and it’s clear they want to see people succeed.
They helped me not just with recovery, but with job readiness and life skills too. Housing was included while I was in outpatient, and that stability made a huge difference. If you’re serious about turning things around, this place can give you a real shot.
It’s not fancy or flashy, but it works and that’s what matters. I’d recommend TLC to anyone in Mesa or nearby who’s looking for solid support and real results in their recovery journey.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. When I first started with OH, it was like a dream come true. The family atmosphere and care for client/family were unparalleled. However, over time, after so many leadership changes and policy changes this place has lost its way. The heart is missing as they’ve transformed into a place that is solely about the money and not client care. Leadership is out of touch and does not handle staff feedback well. Leading to an overall negative workplace environment where the staff are afraid to express themselves. During an all staff, the CEO when speaking about staff opinions informed the staff to “save the drama for your mommas”. This had a deeply negative effect on staff as they felt unseen and unheard. Another example of negative working experience was that the caseloads were too big to be clinically effective. When I expressed my concerns to leadership I was informed that “all staff caseloads are going up” and that “this is what the company needs to do for now”. As a result we saw our kids less and the communities we swore to uplift suffered.
If you are thinking about placing your children here or seeking services for yourself DONT. The staff mean well but are spread thin, overworked and not equipped for success.
If you are thinking about applying here to be the change in your community, DONT. You will be toiling away for a mental health company that does not care about your mental health.
Overall, employees don’t quit bad jobs, they quit bad leadership.
I loved my job, I loved my families and I loved the communities I served but it was becoming harder and harder to be of service when there’s nothing but barriers placed in your way.

I started Modern Recovery’s virtual IOP the end of April 2025 for substance abuse and mental health and graduated July 2025 after my 12 week treatment plan.
I loved the group session and my facilitator Braedon was amazing. He asked questions that were thought provoking and made me feel things I’d been bottling down and helped with through “sitting in the suck”. I never felt judged by anyone and only felt a great amount of support by my peers.
My case manager and individual therapist were also amazing and supportive. The team they have is responsive, respectful, and just plain amazing.
I thought there was no hope for me. I’d done detox twice and a 30 day inpatient rehab. This program helped me change that outlook and I’m full of gratitude. I’ve used the tools they have given me numerous times to work through cravings or through bouts of anxiety and/or depression. I am 244 days sober today and thankful for every moment that I felt exhausted and overwhelmed and didn’t want to go to group but did.
If I could continue the course with new educational modules I 100% would. Take the chance. I questioned it at first but I’m forever thankful I did.

My experience with Modern Recovery was very helpful for my mental health journey. The therapists and case workers here genuinely care and I honestly don’t know where I’d be if I didn’t take this first step to take care of myself. They made the process easy, handled most of the paperwork which eased my anxiety and words cannot express how amazing Bobbi & Demesha are as a case worker and therapist. Modern Recovery was something I didn’t know I needed, but it changed the trajectory of my life and I’ll always be thankful for their IOP program and the people who helped along the way.

Located in the southwestern corner of Utah, in the small town of Virgin, is the Liahona Treatment Center. He has recently graduated, and I now know that it was also the best decision that I ever made. He struggled in the beginning, but once he finally understood that I only wanted him to become a better person, he started making changes. He is now ahead in school, has great grades, and an excellent relationship with anyone that he wants to have a relationship with. I can guarantee that if you sent your son here and you give him time to figure it out, he eventually will, and you will never regret your decision. My Godson came out of Liahona academy as a completely transformed man.
He was a child with all kinds of manipulative “techniques”. Now he is a reborn man, a man who is honest and sincere, a man who you can count on to be a positive leader and have a great attitude.

I was sent to Liahona Academy on September 20, 2019. I graduated on May 7, 2021. This placed changed my life. If I was not sent here, I would be either dead, homeless, or in jail. I was skipping school nearly every day and my grades were terrible. My relationship with my parents was terrible. I was smoking weed almost every day. I dreaded every aspect of my life. Now, I am a year ahead of my regular grade, with a GPA of 3.78. My relationship with my parents is fantastic. I don’t ever want to go back to my old life. I love this new life. I recommend that any parent who is struggling with their teen to send them here. It will be a very hard decision, but I can 100% guarantee that it will be worth it.

Liahona was our last hope and nothing short of a miracle for saving my son’s life. The Liahona approach allows customized care based on timing of each boy’s willingness to embrace the opportunity for real, lasting change. The Owner Clay along with Rich, Bear and Beverly were wonderful to work with! The Liahona Virgin campus team have built an amazing program with a successful track record and long-term results at treating the whole person, not just the symptoms of bad behavior/substance abuse, but dares to dig deeper uncovering root causes of the problems. My son was a complex case as he exhibited erratic and dangerous behavior along with lingering effects of substance abuse which could have ended his life on multiple occasions prior to admittance. The highly-structured environment with set “wake” and “lights-out” times, allows the boys to get into a healthy, balanced and predictable schedule resulting in a solid foundation to become the best versions of themselves and make the most of the program. The well-regulated agenda culminates dependable sleep patterns, individual and group therapy, chores, healthy and consistent meals, with time built-in for exercise, school, homework, faith (of any kind or none at all), personal growth, journaling and reading. Based on progress, working the program and meeting milestones, the boys can earn group outings that may include volunteering a chance to give back to the community, or a fun outing like bowling, hiking or trip to the lake, etc. The staff at the Virgin facility were simply amazing! I can’t thank Rich (Program Director) and Bear (our son’s Therapist) enough for their vision and “lead by example” approach to earn credibility, respect and have such a positive power of influence over the most challenging of behaviors. Bear was very honest that our son was one of the more complex cases he had seen and that he wasn’t sure if Liahona would be the “best fit” for him. Bear was absolutely remarkable in treating my son, from day 1, as a fully 100% capable individual and he saw through the façade of substance psychosis, anger, low self-esteem, manipulative and self-centered behavior. The value of the Liahona program incorporates a loving and supportive environment, patiently allowing each boy to come to their own realization and choose to begin the journey-cycle of initiating progress, resulting in gaining confidence, motivating them to work harder, embracing the courage to face adversity and proving to themselves they are capable of setting goals and exceeding expectations. The Liahona program results in building confidence, fueling motivation for more continued growth and is the recipe for achieving not only success in Liahona but prepares each boy for a successful life outside of Liahona in the real world. My son entered Liahona as a troubled boy and graduated the program as a confident young man, eager to work hard, face adversity, exceed every goal placed in front of him, fully equipped with the knowledge and desire to help others along the way. We couldn’t be more proud and are forever grateful to the incredible staff and program at Liahona for doing God’s work here on earth!

This place saved my life. Be forever grateful for it …No, I mean YOU should be EXTREMELY grateful for it! EXCELLENT STAFF GOOD PEOPLE! I have referred at least 100 people to Crossroads. Probably 10 went. Out of that 10, I betcha 10 of them are still sober! They taught me how to deal with things without getting loaded. I lost everything I owned and instead of dwelling on that they taught me coping skills and I’ve successfully completed and I’m off probation now. I would love to work there so I could help the next generation stay sober. God bless America peace on earth and Goodwill toward all of ManKind. We’re all gonna be alright.

Saint George, Utah | Forte Strong is a residential treatment program for young men in St. George, Utah. They provide residential mental health treatment and coaching for young adult men aged 18 through 30. Specifically, this program is for men struggling with failure to launch syndrome, avoidant personality, social anxiety disorder, and adjustment disorder. They do not | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I recently left Forte Strong and am currently residing in St. George. I have a great job now and a chance to move up in my company by going to graduate school. Forte Strong was very tough in the beginning and to be completely honest, I actually hated it. I felt like everyone was against me, including the director. I thought they were just trying to make me jump through meaningless hoops. I was tired, depressed, anxious, and had very little self confidence. In a fit of frustration, I vented to one of my housemates the director wasn’t helping and was actually making it worse. The guy said the director’s methods will all make sense in the end. Obviously, at the time, I blew that off as utter nonsense. A month or so later, I was having a lot of anxiety and the director supported me in my time of need in a way that was quite unfamiliar to me at the time. I was shocked. He did care and not only that, he believed in my strength and resilience. My opinions of him changed almost immediately. He became my biggest mentor in the program. I went to him for problems I may have had, how I could have handled this situation differently, how I could have a better relationship with my parents, etc. He was there for me and I was ready to listen. In a matter of 5 and half months, my relationship with one of my parents changed drastically, a feat I thought was near impossible and hopeless when I entered the program. My resilience increased, my self confidence increased because I was doing well at work, and I had more trust in my abilities. Everything was changing for the better. I was going to be fine. I also made countless friends along the way, people that I will still keep in contact with for a while. I have also dealt with challenging people in the program, people who I really didn’t care for and who didn’t really align with my values. The program director mentored me through dealing with difficult people. It was an uphill battle, but it is all about learning. Now, I’m not going to say that this program is for everyone. It definitely is not. There is a stark contrast between the people who actually want to be there and to work on themselves and the people who feel forced by their parents. I was fortunately the former. And as I sit in my new apartment in St. George on a bright Saturday morning, I want to say thank you Brook for all you have done for me.

It is not an experience that is right for everyone but it has made a big difference for a family member. My thoughts: If you are looking for traditional heavy therapy environment focused on diagnosis and medication management this is not for your family member. Forte has therapy and medication management but it is not the core of what they do. It is a small piece of it and one that I think has opportunity to be improved upon. That being said, not why you come here. If you have a young man who cannot move forward to adulthood responsibilities regardless of the cause this may be for your family. I say may because there is really no way to predict if this formula is the right one. For our family member, routine, coaching, basic skills for healthy living and independence were that formula. A real differentiator here is the obligation to work during the program. It is not just an obligation but central to success. That, plus the independence gained riding and owning a motor scooter ( something I could never have imagined) made a huge impact. The coaches are kind, empathetic but tough and direct and the same time. They are practical and this coupled with the simplicity of life in St. George are also very helpful. My family member has chosen to remain in St. George and is is moving out on his own, has a nice job and is on the road to a professional career that feels more in line with his interests. His stress is vastly improved, as is depression and he has better interactions with his family than before. Opportunities exist with the therapy and communication with parents. It is not perfect but the Director is amazing and open to feedback. At the end of the day they genuinely care and work hard purely in the interests of these young men. It is expensive but if the behavior I see now sustains itself - well worth it.

I was lucky to be admitted here. I was on scholarship and had to fly in from Wisconsin. Chris B. Picked me up from the airport and brought me to what I consider to be my 2nd home. 10/1/2013 I started my journey. I hung on dearly to that "just for today" and it saved my life. I was provided the tools needed to become sober and this place helped me become the person I am today. Without it I wouldn't be the proud father of 2 Boys that can provide a happy healthy home nor would I be engaged with their mother. Thank you crossroads. You changed my life and I hope to get back to 1845 one day to see everyone.

I came in very ill and untrusting. I was met with a warm, caring, hopeful team who met me with compassion and expertise. I was also heavily supported by leadership. My team met me where I was at and was willing to be patient with my progress and circumstances. It didn’t take me long to trust in my team and begin my treacherous journey toward recovery. My team fought for me to progress toward my goals prior to discharge, which meant so much. I’m in a much better place because of my journey at Rosewood. Some suggestions include more content/process heavy groups and better communication with aftercare providers. Also, continued trauma training for BHTs, nurses, clinical team etc. Special shout-out to Amanda, dietitian, for allowing me to find hope, guidance, compassion, and support in my sessions and advocating for me throughout my entire stay. So grateful!

Can Confidently say Rosewood Ranch saved my life! I was a client here twice both times In 2024 on the adolescent side. When I was first admitted I had just been discharged from the hospital and was in a dark and scary place in my life where I truly did not think I was going to get better. When I first arrived, I was very scared and nervous as it was my first rtc I had been to. After acclimating I realized truly how healing Rosewood Ranch is. A little bit after I discharged I realized I needed more help. I was embarrassed to come back however the staff were so so supportive and welcomed me back with open arms. After leaving The Ranch the second time I was admitted to Rosewood Php and later admitted to Rosewood Scottsdale but I credit majority of my recovery to The Ranch. The therapists and dietitians here are very knowledgeable in ed treatment. Thanks to Rosewood Ranch I have my life back.

As a patient at the adolescent side... I was very lucky to have a great community and various great staff members. I came from another residential because i needed to be stepped up to a higher level of care and I would not have wanted it to be anywhere else. Yes there were days that sucked but every treatment center has its bad days. Dave was an amazing therapist and Malia was a great dietician. I was in a very bad place with my eating disorder and rosewood was able to renourish and help me start my recovery journey. I will always be appreciative of the help i recieved. No matter how hard it was in the beginning but by the end of my time their it truly was a big help. If you or your kids are struggling I would recommend rosewood.
