It's hard to describe the level of care and support that Rose House provides. No family ever wants to be in this situation, but Rose House provides a level of knowledge, confidence and assurance that we couldn't find anywhere else. The fact that it is female specific makes its mission that more effective in not only dealing with addiction but the underlying roots of abuse and trauma. We were desperate and they gave us our daughter back. This place is not an adult daycare or resort. They require not only the patients to do the hard work, but the families as well. If you care about your family member you have to put in the work as well, because these folks have a tough road ahead of them and no one goes it alone in life. For these people that need this level of care Rose House is superlative in giving patients and families the tools they need to turn their lives around.

I had a life changing experience during my stay at the Rose House. The staff are kind and firm at the same time. The dynamics between the clients is also a very therapeutic part of it all. The way we cared and called each other out was very crucial to the whole experience. I would highly recommend this treatment center to anyone who is serious about a clean and sober lifestyle.

I want to start this review by acknowledging that recovery from mental health issues, trauma and addiction is HARD. There is no one place that will be a good fit for everybody and no place will work until the client wants to change and is ready to do the very difficult work required for healing. We stumbled upon the Rose House when we had almost lost all hope for our 18 year old daughter. She had been in and out of various mental health facilities and rehab facilities but nothing worked. She was an addict but if she checked into a rehab facility the trauma she had experienced caused her to go into a fight or flight response. She acted out verbally and by self harming. Although they would claim to be a dual diagnosis center, they would always call us within a day or so and tell us they didn't have the type of facilities to help her. If we tried to get her residential mental health help we were told there was no such place. She could only be put on a 72 hour hold if she was a danger to herself or others. Our daughter's addiction began when a couple of men lured her into their trafficking scheme. She was 14 and they paid her a lot of attention. In her mind one of them was her boyfriend and she felt flattered that an older man would want her. They started giving her drugs in exchange for sex. Soon she needed the drugs to stop the feeling of guilt and disgust she felt from what was happening to her. When she finally said no to one of them he physically and forcibly raped her. I wish we had understood earlier what was going on. (This man is now serving 97 years in a Colorado prison) We walked into the Rose House and took a tour at her lowest point. She agreed to look at the Rose House but wasn't committing to going. After the tour we sat in Alison's office and I asked her if she thought the Rose House could help my daughter. Alison said if she is willing to come she is exactly who we help. My daughter said no one can help me I'm broken. My daughter checked herself in a few weeks later after being arrested for a DV situation and a high speed chase with the police. She spent a night in jail and realized she did not want to spend another one there. She had a court hearing. Alison met us there to support her and then took her to the Rose House. We couldn't speak to her for 2 weeks during the settling in period. Once we could communicate with her we saw growth every time we spoke or saw her. I asked her what was different this time. Her answer was 1. I'm ready for help and 2. the staff knows what they are doing and I know they care about me. I don't want to paint the wrong picture, recovery is never a straight line and it doesn't always happen in a set period of time. I was glad that the Rose House worked towards goals and that's what drove moving to the next step - not a set number of days on a calendar. They were also there on the tough days. Setting boundaries when needed, treating clients with respect and always showing compassion and consistency. The other thing that is different about the Rose House is that they really believe that the healing of the client's family is important and do a lot of work towards that with the weekly family zoom meeting and the family weekend. We learn that we can not control the decisions of our loved ones but we can set boundaries for ourselves. We can support them in their recovery but we can't do it for them. Our daughter graduated from the program and spent some time in the step down program. She is now 19, just received her 6 months chip for being clean and sober and is holding a fulltime job. She continues going to meetings almost everyday and is working with her own therapist to continue the work that was started in the Rose House. I honestly believe that if we hadn't found the Rose House she would be dead now. Instead I get to hug her everyday and get to see the wonderful woman she is becoming. The Rose House and it's staff have our undying gratitude.

I loved everything thing about this place from the warm welcomes in to the comfort of the care in the nurses. This place is beautiful the groups are ran by amazing staff I will never forget where my life changed for the better I absolutely love red rocks

I love Red Rock Recovery! The Alumni community led by Cook is very active. There is no shortage of fun Sober activities! Recovery is not boring at this place!

Their motto is "people helping people help themselves". This place saved my life and made me who I am today. I learned about the building blocks to life and how to place them day by day. It is a brutal program!

Stout street helped me in ways words cannot express. It is not an easy program, but it was definitely worth it. I have my life back. Before SSF I had lost almost everyone and everything due to my drinking. Today I have a great job, my family is back in my life, and I am proud to say I have nearly 5 years clean and sober. This path of recovery is not always easy but I know I have SSF staff and peers I can always lean on, and I can honestly say I am the happiest I have ever been.

I completed stout street in 2012, I had been to 3 other rehabs that never worked I was an long time cocaine user, mostly crack. I have now been clean for almost 8 years and I owe my life to this place!! I have my life and my family back. It’s a hard program but it’s 100% worth it.

Families who are seeking to find answers to the question of addiction and to anyone struggling with substance abuse, this is the better recommendation to get help. Picking up the phone and trying to find help for the first time was daunting. I knew I needed to change my relationship with alcohol, but I didn’t know where to start. After making multiple calls, I came across CMAR (Colorado Medicated Assisted Recovery). The first person I spoke to on the phone made me feel welcome and helped me begin my recovery journey. I started in August 2024 and was guided to IOP, which included three sessions a week. I’ll never forget the first time I walked in—I was welcomed right away. James Jackman was the group therapist that day and made me feel comfortable from day one. He would later become my personal therapist, and I owe a lot to him for helping me through my recovery. I came in wanting to change my relationship with alcohol, but I ended up working through so much more—my anxiety, childhood trauma, and the reasons behind my substance use. I learned more about myself and grew as a person in ways I never imagined. After graduating IOP in three months, I decided to continue in OP for another year. Through CMAR, I’ve built a strong sober community and made many close friends. If you’re looking for help, this place is truly amazing.

One of my friends decided to go to AspenRidge a while ago. Initially, he was not really convinced but after a while I saw him becoming a different person. He made amends with a lot of people he had hurt in the past and is currently working to improve himself.

I highly recommend Aspen Ridge to anyone who needs help with recovery. I have been in recovery for years, and Aspen Ridge is my favorite facility out there. Unlike many others, Aspens Ridge does NOT force any specific modality on folks, such as AA or NA. Many other rehab facilities are 12 step-based, which I haven’t found to be helpful. Aspend Ridge helps folks find the program that works before for each individual, such as SMART recovery, Dharma Recovery, or 12 steps. The therapists and instructors at Aspen Ridge are also all tremendously helpful and motivated. Highly recommended to anyone in need!

By far the best women’s treatment center in the US. Real gender specific modalities and clinicians who are trauma informed and well trained. I wouldn’t send my daughter anywhere else.

DWRBis by far the best treatment center for women in Colorado. I have been to treatment centers all over the country and not one has helped me as much as DWR. Their clinical team is top notch and will refuse to allow a person to fail. DWR saved my life and I can’t say this enough.

I remained constantly impressed and knew that I made the right decision by choosing Denver Women's from the moment I picked up the phone and called DWR stating that I was struggling with addiction. Immediately I was connected with someone who wanted to help and was able to complete my intake. During my treatment time at DWR, I was surrounded by clinical staff that really wanted to help. Their professionalism and the atmosphere they've created for their clients is top notchThey guided me through some difficult times and exemplified what humans do for one another in tough times and showed me what it was like to come out the other side of active recovery. I am truly blessed and grateful for DWR. . I'm happy to report that I have almost two years sober and I attribute my recovery to the knowledge, deep understanding and courage that DWR taught me while I was there. I know that they care because they continue to check in with me and I know that I'll always have the DWR community.

Place is amazing

This place is full of kind people and kind staff. Everyone has been so helpful and supportive. My social worker is amazing, and the whole team really cares. Every time I go to group, I feel like I get the help I need. If you're trying to get sober and quit alcohol, this is a beautiful place to start your journey. I'm really thankful for the support I've found here. 🫡

It was a good facility I was there for 55 days and now I'm in a sober living. The place is nice and you can get a lot of tools to take with when you leave. Idk but it seems like a lot of the younger patience are there on their 10th plus time they treated like a summer get away or something it's crazy how many people are in there that's been there a number of amount of times they all knew each other not to think I'm better then anyone but they leave and they come right back it must be the good food haha I would recommend this place anyone trying to go to a rehab. Staff are nice all the nurses are pretty cool

I had my first surgery at AdventHealth Porter this week and it was a positive experience. All of the medical team made sure I was taken care of and answered all my questions. I was nervous but they helped me stay comfortable and had good humor through the whole experience. If I ever need surgery in the future, I would definitely try to schedule it here!
