Louisville, Colorado | Centennial Peaks Hospital offers alcohol and drug rehab programming to adults and adolescents in an age-specific format. Serving the Louisville, Colorado area, their levels of care include detoxification, inpatient treatment, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient treatment. Centennial Peaks Hospital offers a wide continuum of care to me | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I have done ECT here with Dr. Katz. It's one of those things that you don't really want to do, but once you do, you are glad that you did because it changed my life. Medicine didn't work well for me, so I was desperate, so I tried this and it worked. I don't have to take medicine anymore and I feel so much better. Don't be afraid, it isn't too bad, you just forget a few things that happened that day.

Being in a place like this can be really rough because It’s different on the outside you’re used to getting what you want In here they give you what you need I would like to send out a special thanks to Zach. He was very helpful & went above and beyond. He would pull me aside and talk to me like a human not just a patient. He always had a Calm, cool and Collected mindset, which really helped me get through the time I had to be here so again I want to send a special things out to you Zach, thank you.

I have been to several hospitals for care over the years, mainly in Virginia. However, I had a run where I had to be hospitalized at Aurora North, where my treatment was not treated. Rather, I was discharged after one day. I immediately went to Centennial Peaks Hospital who cared whether I started sleeping again. I didn't have many medication changes, which was good for me. I started ECT treatments which have made a world of difference for me. All in all, I am satisfied a 10 out of a 10 with this group/hospital. They are really there to help their patients out. Please note that not everyone receives the same treatment but what I experienced and continue to do so through ECT is wonderful and has worked for me. It is nice to know that people actually WANT to come to work and smile and interact with the patients. Other hospitals do not do that.

Colorado Medication Assisted Recovery, familiarly known as “CMAR,” is hands-down the best program for addiction recovery. From the intake process to the first day in a group session, they make you feel so at home. So many times addicts like me have a lot of anxiety about entering a treatment center and being judged or not feeling like they belong. But my experience is quite opposite of that. People from all walks of life, with all different addictions are there and are welcoming and loving and supportive. CMAR has truly become a family to me. The nurse is very attentive and warm and exceptionally smart. The therapists are so knowledgeable and can really help you uncover the “Why” behind your addiction and unravel it, as well as give you simple life skills to combat the ups and downs of life as they come. Thwy also offer a very lenient schedule of either being able to attend online or in person, but in person is so much more impactful because you really get to know each therapist and your fellow addicts and that’s how it really becomes a family. I am highly partial to the morning IOP sessions with a therapist named James. Everyone connects with therapists differently, so the staff has all different style therapists to make sure their clients have the best experience possible. I live about 35 to 40 minutes away from the office in Thornton in Denver proper, and the drive doesn’t bother me at all because I know I’m walking into a place where each time I’ll walk out better and more understanding of my addiction so that I can heal and continue in long-term recovery. If you are committed to living a more full life, and your goal is emotional and mental sobriety, as well as sobriety from your drug of choice, GO TO CMAR. You won’t regret it.

Working in the behavioral health field, I’ve referred numerous clients to CMAR, and the outcomes have consistently been excellent. The staff is highly skilled, compassionate, and responsive — truly dedicated to helping individuals on their path to recovery.
Their outpatient programming is well-structured and evidence-based, offering flexibility without compromising quality. What I appreciate most is their collaborative approach; they communicate regularly with referring providers and truly value continuity of care.
Clients have shared positive feedback about feeling respected, supported, and empowered throughout their treatment. I wouldn’t hesitate to continue recommending CMAR to anyone seeking meaningful, professional substance use treatment in an outpatient setting.

I can’t speak highly enough about the staff at Aspen Ridge Recovery. From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely seen, heard, and supported. What stood out the most was the integrity and authenticity of the team—every therapist, counselor, and staff member truly cares about the people they’re serving.
This isn’t just a place that goes through the motions. The staff takes time to get to know you as a person, not just a diagnosis or a case file. They’re consistent, honest, and deeply committed to helping you heal. Even when things got tough, they showed up with compassion and accountability, which helped me trust the process and stick with it.
If you’re looking for a place where people actually care, and where your recovery is taken seriously in a safe and respectful environment, Aspen Ridge is that place. I’m beyond grateful for the experience and the people who helped me through it.

I went through sandstone twice. Once when I was 18 and again when I was 19. At the time I was not willing to admit that I had a problem with substances. I thought I had everything figured out. The years after I had graduated the program I was able to prove to myself that I still knew nothing about my alcoholism. I am grateful for sandstone since I wouldn’t have even been able to have any type of knowledge about my own substance use if it wasn’t for the amazing staff over at sandstone. They helped me get my foot through the door into the world of recovery. I don’t know where I would be without sandstone and I am beyond grateful for the effort the staff puts in to help people with their mental health/substance abuse. That is just the surface of what recovery has brought into my life. I have sandstone to thank for that!

2) Once enrolled you can also schedule individual therapy.
3) After graduating the program you are invited to Alumni events. So you always feel connected to the program and get to meet previous graduates of the program. Some events I’ve been to were Lantern Festival, Animal sanctuary, Game Nights, and many more. There are also zoom sessions.
I really am thankful for the Alumni group and coordinators for always checking in.

Located in Louisville, Colorado, The Rose House is an alcohol and drug rehab center for women. They offer gender-specific residential treatment that focuses on the whole person. You’ll find The Rose House – Addiction & Mental Health Treatment Center in Lafayette, Colorado, about 20 minutes outside of Boulder. Since 2007, this boutique res | Treatments Payment Options | I want to start this review by acknowledging that recovery from mental health issues, trauma and addiction is HARD. There is no one place that will be a good fit for everybody and no place will work until the client wants to change and is ready to do the very difficult work required for healing. We stumbled upon the Rose House when we had almost lost all hope for our 18 year old daughter. She had been in and out of various mental health facilities and rehab facilities but nothing worked. She was an addict but if she checked into a rehab facility the trauma she had experienced caused her to go into a fight or flight response. She acted out verbally and by self harming. Although they would claim to be a dual diagnosis center, they would always call us within a day or so and tell us they didn't have the type of facilities to help her. If we tried to get her residential mental health help we were told there was no such place. She could only be put on a 72 hour hold if she was a danger to herself or others. Our daughter's addiction began when a couple of men lured her into their trafficking scheme. She was 14 and they paid her a lot of attention. In her mind one of them was her boyfriend and she felt flattered that an older man would want her. They started giving her drugs in exchange for sex. Soon she needed the drugs to stop the feeling of guilt and disgust she felt from what was happening to her. When she finally said no to one of them he physically and forcibly raped her. I wish we had understood earlier what was going on. (This man is now serving 97 years in a Colorado prison)
We walked into the Rose House and took a tour at her lowest point. She agreed to look at the Rose House but wasn't committing to going. After the tour we sat in Alison's office and I asked her if she thought the Rose House could help my daughter. Alison said if she is willing to come she is exactly who we help. My daughter said no one can help me I'm broken.
My daughter checked herself in a few weeks later after being arrested for a DV situation and a high speed chase with the police. She spent a night in jail and realized she did not want to spend another one there. She had a court hearing. Alison met us there to support her and then took her to the Rose House. We couldn't speak to her for 2 weeks during the settling in period. Once we could communicate with her we saw growth every time we spoke or saw her. I asked her what was different this time. Her answer was 1. I'm ready for help and 2. the staff knows what they are doing and I know they care about me.
I don't want to paint the wrong picture, recovery is never a straight line and it doesn't always happen in a set period of time. I was glad that the Rose House worked towards goals and that's what drove moving to the next step - not a set number of days on a calendar. They were also there on the tough days. Setting boundaries when needed, treating clients with respect and always showing compassion and consistency.
The other thing that is different about the Rose House is that they really believe that the healing of the client's family is important and do a lot of work towards that with the weekly family zoom meeting and the family weekend. We learn that we can not control the decisions of our loved ones but we can set boundaries for ourselves. We can support them in their recovery but we can't do it for them.
Our daughter graduated from the program and spent some time in the step down program. She is now 19, just received her 6 months chip for being clean and sober and is holding a fulltime job. She continues going to meetings almost everyday and is working with her own therapist to continue the work that was started in the Rose House.
I honestly believe that if we hadn't found the Rose House she would be dead now. Instead I get to hug her everyday and get to see the wonderful woman she is becoming.
The Rose House and it's staff have our undying gratitude.

I can't say enough good things about this organization and the people that work here. Coming up on 2 months of sobriety, I can honestly say I would not be here without the amazing staff and therapists at NorthStar.
I want to give a huge shout out to Sean who worked with me in helping me identify my triggers and to create a plan for my future.
I could write a review a mile long if I started naming all the great staff at the lodge, but I'll keep it to this: from the AM staff to the PM staff, every single person there is invested in supporting you on your journey, and they truly 'get it.' From laughter to serious moments, they facilitated the perfect healing environment for me.
KW was also very influential in my healing.

My husband recently completed treatment here. There were a few cons, but you will find that anywhere! For the most part he said it was a very nice place. And from what I experienced with attending visitations and a few phone interactions, I was happy as well.
