My wife wasnt in a good place mentally when I dropped her off. Blaming, heavy, burdened, joyless. I talked to her 7 days in and she was positive, light spirited, and exhibited empowerment. She has talked more about her alcoholism and knows what led up to it because Tara required her to do a timeline of life events. She seems much in touch with herself and better equipped as a result. She also had an excellent counselor that provided very pointed counseling specific to my wife’s life and needs. Based on what I learned from my wife I think everyone could use a little of what TARA has to offered regardless of whether u have an addiction or not. I highly recommend. The days were broken up with little “outings” where we were taken offsite for various activities. From the moment I walked in they were kind, helpful, caring, & gave me so much encouragement throughout my time there. No state pay system riders at boca, all professional tradesmen, firefighters, athletes, etc.... as far as patients. Staff if is AMAZING. So professional in every aspect. They handle every aspect from medical to mental health in addiction treatment. Legal issues are handled for you so you can concentrate on you. Day to day life is comfortable and you feel like a vip. The CRT staff goes above and beyond to help any individual who wants to change their life for the better. The staff is always available and always ready to lend a helping hand anytime out of your 24 hour days. There's never a question that cannot be answered, and if there is the staff again will go above and beyond to get you the correct answer. The 90-day program provides structure and discipline to an individual's life who wants to make a positive change and continue to live a full sober life displaying the best version of yourself. At the end of the 90 day program Ms. Gatz and her staff will provide each individual further recovery by helping the individual who wants to say sober and continue to live with further housing. I moved to Bloomington in January 2024, I had never stepped foot in Bloomington, Indiana and I knew absolutely nobody. The staff at CRT helped me get all the correct documentations that I will need to get a job, driver's license, birth certificates, any other documents that I needed to further my life and Recovery. After the 90-day program and I moved on to a different sober living being Courage to Change the staff of CRT was still more than willing to help me with any other things that I needed or had questions for. Also after I graduated CRT I used to think the staff on the consistent basis for saving my life. They assured me that I saved my own life and they were just grateful to be able to give me the tools the structure and the discipline to change my life so that I can save my life. Me myself I can go on and on about CRT about all the wonderful things that they have to offer but I know 100% that there is not enough time in one day to speak on all the great experiences that I had at CRT. Rachael always took time out of her day to make sure i had everything i needed, made sure i understood what was being taught to me in MRT and IOT, and she ALWAYS had the best classes. She made her classes fun and she explained things in a way that i could understand. She gave me support in every aspect of my life. I know that if i had something going on i could take it to her and she wouldnt go and tell someone else my business, and she would give me the best suggestions possible. Tacara was amazing as well, she had my back in the program from the jump. She always gave me straight up honest answers, and she always helped me in the spiritual side of my recovery. We talked about God alot and i just really appreciated having a sister in christ there to talk about God with everyday. Austin was my dude forreal. Ive liked Austin since i met him at the Whitney house when he was the recovery works grant guy. For some reason i was always drawn to Austin, he always gave me straight answers, never sugar coated anything, and didnt judge me for who i am. Not to mention hes funny as heck! I remember going into his office almost everyday just to talk to him and tell him jokes. Lol i hope ur seein this G-Eazy, i appreciate you having my back, and giving me a chance in the program! He received excellent care, from rehab to nursing to dietary needs. Each and every staff member came in with a positive attitude, giving the impression that they love what they do. Whether they were delivering meals, giving him his meds, or helping him bathe, each staff member treated my husband with total respect. We enjoyed having lunch in the Bistro, where we could visit with other patients while we enjoyed a delicious meal. There are a ton of social activities, outings, they have access to transportation to go shopping and the staff is lovely. I especially love the dining staff! They genuinely get to know the residents and treat them with respect every time they interact with them. Recently, when my mom had a fall and needed additional help, it was comforting to know she could receive it right in her apartment. Being able to switch an in-person appointment to a video call on short notice makes a huge difference, and it's an option I've never been given elsewhere.
