This was my first rehab / residential stay, and I truly couldn’t have ended up in a better place. The techs, the clinical team, the nurses, the lunch lady’s, the janitors, every single person played a role, whether it was working one on one with them or just a friendly smile passing through! Also, my sober sisters, the bond that was made was amazing & im thankful to still have a lot of them in my life and a part of my recovery journey today! I would also like to add that the facility itself was absolutely beautiful and the outdoor surroundings were incredible. It truly is such a beautiful serene place! I would 10/10 recommend this facility and its program to anyone struggling with addiction. (FULL REVIEW BELOW) The breakdown: Pro's: -Renovated resort on a spacious piece of land that includes a lake patients can fish on, walking trails, a full basketball court, and large open fields for activities -Nearly all direct support staff is in recovery -Food is home-cooked style and every meal includes seconds if wanted -Nicotine products allowed (vapes too) -Guitar, piano, animal therapy (they literally have an Australian Shephard and like 10 chickens to interact with), plant and flower garden patients can contribute to, pickle ball, corn hole. -Large donation room for patients coming with no clothes -Medicaid insurance allowed -Alumni program that includes an app that helps connect all the patients post-discharge Cons (Based on opinion/personal exerience): -My biggest complaint is no PHP/sober living housing being available. I made life-changing relationships with staff and peers in this community/program, and after discharge, couldn't continue them due Wooded Glen not having that level of programming. -Nearly no books/reading material available for patients to read, and the books that are available are random Amish romance novels from the 80's) -Infrequent/inconsistent store runs when patients need Nicotine/personal products -They don't allow family to drop off sealed soda/snacks OTHER THAN fun-sized candy -No outside meetings -No family visit days Thanks 😊 ELLIOTT 1 month ago	6 6

Totally unbeknownst to me, they sent a care package since I’m pregnant - and it included way more than I ever would have expected. Even prior to being pregnant, the VA system has gone above and beyond in making sure I’m taken care of - more than my active duty military medical care. Angie and Vic stand out to me because they're the first people you see when you get there and they make you feel welcome and they are really on point when it comes to making things happen quickly. I got ADD that one way and I'm terrible with names and I wanted to put everybody in here but I'm about to leave some people out and I apologize. I've been to a few other treatment places and none of them can compare to the service and flexibility along with the way you feel like everybody really has an interest in your well-being. Trish is like a counselor now so it looks like she is in an even better role to personally affect people's lives and it's easy to see that her interest in your success is genuine. I've been going there since 2020 and they've always done their thing but here lately they really on top of their game. If you in a tight spot financially they gon work with you and now there even little things like free snacks and other things. They are involved every area of your life that you feel needs improvement. Mental and physical health services are part of the package and even tho the stigma of substance abuse has been declining they ensure your confidentiality and will help you with your legal matters or parole/probation which is a big deal if you got to deal with the system. There's a couple ladies I wanted to mention just cuz they of important role they play in the whole experience so I'm hoping I can edit this after I see them next week. Angie isn't there all the time but when she is she keeps things moving and I have to give the boss a shout out cuz every time I needed something that he could help with he didn't hesitate to make it happen. What's crazy is that even with all the requirements that you go through to get your meds (which they provide right there on site so you don't even have to go to a pharmacy) they get you in and out of there so much quicker than they used to. If it's your first day going there so I can say is be prepared for a long day and a thorough examination which is necessary to get you started the right way. But after that it's usually pretty quick and easy. Last thing I want to say is how awesome the providers are. They never rush you through and don't judge you or chastise you if you slip up. I've been clean of opiates since 6-17-2013 because of Suboxone and back when I started it was super expensive and hard to get. I'm glad times have changed and a place like Brightview in Fairfield, Ohio exists. 💯 Champ 1 year ago Im a Big Fan of Brightview. I have been since day one. I would recommend it to anyone who was serious about getting help. If you just need an excuse it's not the right fit but if you are earnest it's the best place you could put your trust in. Only complaint I have is each Brightview location should have their own number so when an addict needs to talk to someone they have a number to reach their councler or Dr... I realize it's not ideal to be available 24/7 but it could save someone's life and wouldn't that make it all worthwhile.
