They have a store here with clothing, hygienes, & other items that families might need. Especially when prices are high, & income doesn't always match outgoing. Loved this place, could not have imagined a recovery experience even close to this ! The food amazing , the staff IMPECCABLE. Even had plans to go back and work there myself . The nurses ? Oh lord patient as EVER . And my journey is still in the beginning but without wooded glen helping me change my mind from half assing it to full going sober and even helping me find the god of my understanding and worrying about my well being even when I wouldn’t . It’s literally the best and most beautiful place to go away and escape . I can promise you I’ve met others in my sober living who mentioned going to wooded glen at one point or another in their journey and they speak on how no other facility holds a candle to it . It works if you work it , and they definitely show you the layout to start the work 💝💝♾️ Bless yall wooded glen. You helped save my life in more ways than you know. I am now 123 SOBER and counting

I graduated from Wooded Glen on April 14th & it changed my life! This was my first rehab / residential stay, and I truly couldn’t have ended up in a better place. The techs, the clinical team, the nurses, the lunch lady’s, the janitors, every single person played a role, whether it was working one on one with them or just a friendly smile passing through! Also, my sober sisters, the bond that was made was amazing & im thankful to still have a lot of them in my life and a part of my recovery journey today! I would also like to add that the facility itself was absolutely beautiful and the outdoor surroundings were incredible. It truly is such a beautiful serene place! I would 10/10 recommend this facility and its program to anyone struggling with addiction. If you or someone you know is struggling seriously please reach out to the team at Wooded Glen, they will love you until you learn to love yourself. I can’t thank the staff and this establishment enough. I look forward to the alumni get togethers and getting to see familiar faces! Don’t leave before the miracle happens, and don’t leave when it does!!!!!!!!!

A breath of fresh air from the other traditional hospital-esque treatment settings that Indiana has historically been dominated by. (FULL REVIEW BELOW) The breakdown: Pro's: -Renovated resort on a spacious piece of land that includes a lake patients can fish on, walking trails, a full basketball court, and large open fields for activities -Nearly all direct support staff is in recovery -Food is home-cooked style and every meal includes seconds if wanted -Nicotine products allowed (vapes too) -Guitar, piano, animal therapy (they literally have an Australian Shephard and like 10 chickens to interact with), plant and flower garden patients can contribute to, pickle ball, corn hole. -Large donation room for patients coming with no clothes -Medicaid insurance allowed -Alumni program that includes an app that helps connect all the patients post-discharge Cons (Based on opinion/personal exerience): -My biggest complaint is no PHP/sober living housing being available. I made life-changing relationships with staff and peers in this community/program, and after discharge, couldn't continue them due Wooded Glen not having that level of programming. -Nearly no books/reading material available for patients to read, and the books that are available are random Amish romance novels from the 80's) -Infrequent/inconsistent store runs when patients need Nicotine/personal products -They don't allow family to drop off sealed soda/snacks OTHER THAN fun-sized candy -No outside meetings -No family visit days Thanks 😊

I went through Prospect House as a client in 2012, and it was the first place where I was able to begin connecting the dots about what was going on inside of me. That experience became foundational — not just for my recovery, but for the direction my life ultimately took. I later built a career in behavioral health, and I often say I learned more during my time at Prospect House than in all my years of schooling. That’s not meant to diminish my education — it was valuable in its own right — but the insight and growth I gained there were unmatched. I wasn’t ready when I arrived, but they helped me become ready. I’m deeply grateful for the role they played in my journey.

I've been a prospector for a long time, it's something special that works in this house, I don't know if it's the residence the staff the structure of the program, it's full of care and love it's spiritual and it forces you to change. I can’t say enough about CAT! The simple facts are that this place and all of the kind souls who make it operate have helped me through the darkest times of my life. With a host of resources I was not only able to work on my recovery, court services worked by my side every step of the way to resolve my legal obligations as well. Talbert House has truly helped me. The staff there are amazing, and always try their best to help us. There are staff who will spend their money and make us breakfast some mornings. Christmas, although sad, was truly fun. One of the clinical staff came in and played some games with us. Although the program can be hard, I believe it can truly help you. The program can be stressful at times, but the staff are there to try and help you. My favorite staff, Ms. Beth, always had the newest shoes on. She, along with all the staff, truly helped me. I am forever thankful for them.

Talbert House on Gelnway Ave has been taking care of me since 2012. I was in a really bad way and they go above and beyond for my care. It's easy getting in with a therapist and their psychiatrist Dr. Pelnick is the best doctor I've ever had. They listen to you here and find what can help you most. I have been blessed with every aspect of my experience at Spero. The staff are amazing. They're compassionate, non-judgmental, and supportive. Courtney, Chelsey, and Valerie are especially great. I don't know what they get paid but they deserve a raise. The doctors and counselors also go above and beyond. Look I'm going to keep it 100 right I don't get how anyone that has been there more than once would give any less than five stars. For real this is the first time I've done a review and I did it cuz I seen some haters and I ain't with that especially when I know it's real. All right so I want to highlight a few things and people that should give you a clear picture if you ain't never been there. Angie and Vic stand out to me because they're the first people you see when you get there and they make you feel welcome and they are really on point when it comes to making things happen quickly. I got ADD that one way and I'm terrible with names and I wanted to put everybody in here but I'm about to leave some people out and I apologize. I've been to a few other treatment places and none of them can compare to the service and flexibility along with the way you feel like everybody really has an interest in your well-being. Trish is like a counselor now so it looks like she is in an even better role to personally affect people's lives and it's easy to see that her interest in your success is genuine. I've been going there since 2020 and they've always done their thing but here lately they really on top of their game. If you in a tight spot financially they gon work with you and now there even little things like free snacks and other things. They are involved every area of your life that you feel needs improvement. Mental and physical health services are part of the package and even tho the stigma of substance abuse has been declining they ensure your confidentiality and will help you with your legal matters or parole/probation which is a big deal if you got to deal with the system. There's a couple ladies I wanted to mention just cuz they of important role they play in the whole experience so I'm hoping I can edit this after I see them next week. Angie isn't there all the time but when she is she keeps things moving and I have to give the boss a shout out cuz every time I needed something that he could help with he didn't hesitate to make it happen. What's crazy is that even with all the requirements that you go through to get your meds (which they provide right there on site so you don't even have to go to a pharmacy) they get you in and out of there so much quicker than they used to. If it's your first day going there so I can say is be prepared for a long day and a thorough examination which is necessary to get you started the right way. But after that it's usually pretty quick and easy. Last thing I want to say is how awesome the providers are. They never rush you through and don't judge you or chastise you if you slip up. I've been clean of opiates since 6-17-2013 because of Suboxone and back when I started it was super expensive and hard to get. I'm glad times have changed and a place like Brightview in Fairfield, Ohio exists. 💯

Im a Big Fan of Brightview. I have been since day one. I would recommend it to anyone who was serious about getting help. If you just need an excuse it's not the right fit but if you are earnest it's the best place you could put your trust in. Only complaint I have is each Brightview location should have their own number so when an addict needs to talk to someone they have a number to reach their councler or Dr... I realize it's not ideal to be available 24/7 but it could save someone's life and wouldn't that make it all worthwhile. Thank you Brightview

I had a very positive experience during my visit to the Cincinnati VA Medical Center. From the moment I arrived, the entire staff was welcoming, professional, and extremely helpful. Everyone I encountered treated me with respect and made the visit smooth and comfortable. I would especially like to recognize Barbara Yankson Akoto. She was outstanding. Dr. Yankson Akoto took the time to listen to my concerns, explained everything clearly, and made sure I understood my care. Her professionalism, compassion, and attention to detail truly stood out. It is clear Dr. AKOTO and her entire team care about the veterans they serve, and I am very grateful for the excellent care I received.

My experience with this clinic has been nothing but fantastic. The staff here are very patient, respectful and friendly. I have had a few counselors. I would complain but I have really liked each one, and look forward to my sessions. This IS the only clinic I have personally attended but, I have had friends attend other clinics and it has mostly been negative feedback. I would definitely recommend!!

I attend the MAT program at Crossroads. The building has numerous programs geared at assisting individuals with substance abuse issues from smoking cessesstion to heroin addiction. I have had interactions with numerous staff at multiple programs. I have been attending groups and individuals counseling as far back as 2013. I would highly recommend this place for people who are convinced they have a problem to people who believe they just need a little support to get over it. Give them a call. What could it hurt.
