Very surprised at so many negative reviews. If you're seeking detox & need help getting or staying clean/sober, it is worth it! They do tests upon arrival, to learn what exactly is in your system (substances), then medicate you accordingly. You will also be able to attend meetings & learn more about addiction & how to better understand everything that goes along with it. Not only will this facility help treat your mental health, it also concentrates a lot on physical symptoms as well. Why go through withdrawal at home or on the street, where it's way more risky, could even be dangerous? Yes, I'll admit, any detox facility is uncomfortable, but you're not there for comfort. It's not a 5 star hotel, it's an inpatient substance abuse treatment program for addicts of all ages seeking recovery & abstinence from drugs in active addiction, who cannot obtain or maintain sobriety on their own. Don't do this by yourself, when you can get the help that you desperately need & deserve. Experienced professionals are waiting to help you today & work around the clock (24/7) to support you day/night. Call them please, if you or a loved one is battling the disease of addiction. Don't hesitate. You may have to wait for admission if no beds are available, but it's worth it!! Easy to find location in Worcester, off street parking. Programs are available here for all genders/backgrounds/ages, whether this is your first time getting off of drugs, or your 100th. Best of luck. We do recover.

Don’t smoke, drink not promiscuous but always unstable after years of useless therapy, no support, DMH case manager, taking med’s doing lab work religiously rated overall unstable. That’s makes treatment quality questionable only medication management is helpful and it gets you sick poison and you are to blame as childishER gamer even went you rarely get hospitalized not thanks to treatment quality.

Greenfield, Massachusetts | The Behavioral Health Network on Kenwood Street in Greenfield, Massachusetts has several programs to help individuals struggling with addiction and substance abuse. There is also a program at this location which help | Treatments Programs Payment Options | This BHN facility has its ups and downs to it. From May 2018, to current day! I have experienced so much over the years. From being a Co-Ed Detox up until 2022. My last time being in this building in 2021, I'm now a resident of Connections. My caseworker Alex is very reasonable and understanding. The program director Jen is a wonderfully kind and cooperative person. This is a locked facility, where you have to be let on or off the unit. The different paths in recovery are accepted. There is from a structured guidance program here. 3 beds in each room, 3 meals provided daily, and staff (Recovery Specialists & Clinical Counselors) that will provide help/assistance/resources. I've been here in this new program for a week now and have adjusted very well. My future here will be very conducive to my recovery, I also believe that I can and will be very successful.
The downsides here are only, grievance forms aren't responded to timely. Your not allowed to bring food or beverages on to unit. Very

When I was in inpatient about four years ago, at the main Harrington Hospital. They had basically forced me in this place with promise that they would help. What I needed was a referral to a specialist for my disorder. (Someone,) And they gave me one of the worst experiences of my whole life and set me back tremendously. One of the therapists who worked here, CANDACE, said that I wanted my trauma. Assumed I don’t have my trauma, without even asking about it. She wasn’t even my designated therapist. She asked me personal questions in front of the whole group and put me on the spot when I was just learning that my “sleepwalking,” and getting my body controlled involuntarily from the inside is NOT make believe. What’s worse is that all of these people except for George, the psychiatrist oddly enough, who was actually straightforward and considerate of what I actually need, were all misleading me into… nothing helpful
The whole reason I was here to begin with was for guidance, and a referral. (Or some resources for myself and a therapist who can, and is long-term) All except him didn’t take me seriously. They lied to me and gave me false hope about my symptoms. They gaslit me to NO end, were and I know now, GRAVELY mistaken. What was the point of all that? And was I supposed to know then, what I should’ve done??? This is not how you treat people. They are absolutely not trauma informed at all, which would benefit them if they were. someone pointed out what they are qualified to do as if I should just go somewhere else; Most people, have trauma. so no, that DOESN’T give a licensed therapist of any kind the right to do what she did and is damaging to every individual involved in a group setting who has underwent abuse and trauma. It’s a legitimate malpractice, to treat someone in need as LESSER THAN, just because you can and because you think somebody is fake, wrong, dumb or delusional. That is abuse
It made my ideations to not exist skyrocket after my days there. It lasted MONTHS. If I didn’t have my own therapist afterwards to go back to I could have died.
Candace, called me “girlie” with a condescending tone. And no matter what was said, acted like many of the women were there because they WANTED, to be. She interrogated me with an intimidating stare, but without any care of the fact that I was there for resources for my problems in the first place, and didn’t know a lot and didn’t pretend to. eye rolling and sighing and shutting me up, in front of the WHOLE ENTIRE GROUP. When everyone had a chance to speak about their business. Any chance she had. Asked me if I was “lonely,” implying that I wanted attention when I could’ve been doing so many other things than to be talked to like that. As I’m editing this I shortened some things. I do understand that I went off-topic when I first wrote this and some of the criticisms I had were more of a matter of opinion so I just wanted to just stick to what happened. Because that’s what happened, and nothing can change that and it’s MY experience. So If you had a good experience, wonderful. I’m happy for you.
The professionals were not welcoming me to understand my current and lifelong mental disability, and they scared me instead. They are absolutely clueless. As told exactly from one of the doctors’ mouths on exactly the day that they discharged me. “I wish we knew how to help yooouu. 😞”
Ugh.
It doesn’t matter, if you’re not a specialist. It doesn’t matter, if you don’t believe someone or you don’t understand it. You’re supposed to guide someone to their understanding of themselves, self improvement amongst many things. It is *not*, on a doctor’s list of treatments to gaslight, victim blame someone that has any inkling of a trauma history of any type(s,) and dismiss some of their symptoms solely based on personal beliefs and misunderstanding which is really basic, knowledge that every professional has. And that’s all I have to say

Dr. Beauzile is the first doctor to ever take my shoulder pain seriously and order further imaging. When the tests came back negative, he referred me for physical therapy and the pain levels have gotten better with time as I have steadily worked toward scar tissue mobilization and remodeling. It has been more difficult this year to get timely appointments at Baystate Quabbin; I suspect this may be because Covid has overwhelmed our already strained healthcare systems. My family members are having similar difficulties accessing medical care in other regions of the state at other providers’ offices. Overall, I have been highly satisfied with Baystate Quabbin and can say that Dr. Beauzile truly cares about his patients.

Brockton teen challenge. 3 minute showers (timed w/a stopwatch in a 6 man shower stall. They only allowed us a few squares of TP at a time. My Counselor stood next to the phone every time I called my family. No swearing, joking, or talking about anything not Christ related. No tv, including knowing what the current news is saying. We were completely isolated from the outside world. The compound was heated by wood that we had to cut everyday…”the wood pile” they called it. Any infraction would lead to extra woodpile duty in 3 hour increments. All the clothing donations were handled by me, to organize for the “blessings closet”- after the directors picked through everything and kept what they wanted. This program should be investigated- looking back, prison would have been fair more tolerable. This place is a business- that makes a lot of tax free money off its residents.
