Zia changed my life. They showed me the tools I needed to gain my life back & introduced me to the 12 step program. Almost a year later and my life has done a complete 180! Zia Recovery Center is a great place if you are serious and diligent about changing your life for the better. The staff and programming are top notch. Nearly every employee and the owners are in recovery. They truly care for each and every client that comes through the doors. It was nice to be in a facility that has so many resources. I use this clinic quite a bit and always get great care. The staff are friendly and professional...and they truly care. The VA in general has come quite far in the past 10-15 years IMHO, and it shows. There's really a sense of friendly environment...helpful culture at this clinic. We veterans are quite lucky to have this clinic. I make sure to always say thanks and try to let them know they are appreciated.

I use the VA a lot and have had nothing but very professional, high-quality care at the Las Cruces clinic. A smallish clinic but they do their best to serve veterans. Sure, it would be better to have a larger facility to be able to offer more specialized services. But that is not really a reflection of the dedication, competence, and professionalism of the clinic employees.

Came here broken. I was welcomed with staff that was eager to listen to my needs and guide me to the right path of my recovery journey. The therapist,nurses,doctors, transportation and peers go the extra mile to provide me ( and you) the compassion and kindness needed when we're at our lowest. This was my second time coming to the PHP program and it was just as effective as the first time I had gone. Working with Liliana on my mental health helped me come back from a low point I was in. The staff was welcoming and understanding, the food was good, and having the support of others in the program helped me to come out of the pit I was in and start getting back on track again.

I just left River Source in Arizona City today. it was a great experience! The staff was great and the program exceeded my expectations. I have to give a shout out to my case manager Delia. She always made time for me and everyone else. I also have to give shout out to Francisco, a great BHT. As a patient that has been in other programs, TPRC has been by far the best! Between the staff, the medical team, and the clients themselves, the experience has been great. Starting the program can be a process with insurance and finding a bed/opening, but it's like that no matter where you go. Don't let that turn you away from this great program!

If you or a loved one has problems with substances, this program is a blessing. Everyone here welcomes with arms wide open and a love that many of us are not accustomed to but many adapt to in a time of dire need. The staff here goes above and beyond to see that we become the upmost productive members of society that we are ment to be. I can honestly say that this program has changed not only my life but everyone’s around me from my friends to my family. I am extremely grateful to experience this opportunity in my life. My thanks to staff like Katy, Nick, and Joe, I could not have the drive and perseverance that I do to accomplishing my goals with out, thank you for your love and persistence! After interviewing several facilities in and around Arizona, our family chose Cottonwood. They are strong in treatment of both mental health and substance use issues. Meredith Cohen as a primary therapist was particularly helpful for us, as was Sallie who utilizes EMDR/NARM modalities to therapy. Their support staff is educated, kind, and attentive. Cottonwood also emphasized the importance of the patient working to build their support system and truly be immersed in the community while receiving treatment. We highly recommend Cottonwood.

The staff at Medmark are one of a kind. They all treat you with dignity, worth, and respect, from the receptionist at the front, to the counselors and dosing nurses, and even the program director. This was by far the best experience with a clinic and the staff are the reason why. Sierra Tucson is a place of refuge and healing. I came here in February 2026. I worked hard with my professional team, using them and my process group, to unhinge the deep core of trauma that created such sadness, depression, and anxiety. It felt so freeing to heal here and unexplainable peace enveloped me. The problem was that my professional team did not believe I was ready to go home. Despite their advice, I returned home, thinking I could handle things. I thought my own team of professionals could prevent me from disaster. I was wrong. At the beginning of May, I knew I needed to return to Sierra Tucson. Today, at the beginning of June I am able to return home with my team of professionals’ blessing. In addition, I could not have done this without the help and support of my process group, I am leaving again, but this time I know my hard and painful work is done. Life changing... as a disabled veteran who served on submarines, my PTSD, anxiety and depression had impacted every area of my life and all that I had built was disintegrating. I was at the point of despairing of my own life and tired of it all... until my psychiatrist and the VA helped me to get to Sierra Tucson (ST). The staff, modalities and the Red White and Blue (RWB) program at ST were so encompassing and caring. ST provided classes that filled the full gambit of psychological approaches, TMS, Ketamine therapy, Integrative services (incorporating healing of the nervous system and body), and moral injury, among other support and restorative methods. By far the gold for me was in the Process Group work, work with my Primary Therapist (Kris Davis), Psychodrama with Adena Bank Lees, Ketamine therapy and how the peer support system is setup as a whole. I have learned how to give place and support others in their feelings and beliefs and more importantly how to access, sit with, and integrate my own emotions. My inner critic is being freed to support me and show me what I fear, and now I am equipped to be present in that fear and authentically choose to act in truth and love. Don't get me wrong... no place is perfect and the staff is spread thin, yet the staff care and the structure is the best I have seen. Thank you ST for your support and for fostering and nurturing my healing and authentic identity. Forever grateful!

I've been clean 11 years and counting, but not without help. CMS has an incredible staff. From peer supports to counselors, these people will not and do not judge you. You're treated like a human being, most been in your shoes. Daniel I want to thank though, he's peer support and goes above and beyond for clients. Bringing resources I didn't even know existed just to help better my day, even got me to a food bank with a ride home. He's a great listener and I hope he knows how appreciated he truly is. I've been at codac for 8 years. And at first it was rough with everything from the staff to dosing. But over the years its been getting better everyday. The new staff at codac at 380 is just the best. They have come a long way. And im very great full to some of the staff members. These staff members have gone above and beyond to help me in thing I've needed help with. Especially Matt from 380 hes great hes a very helpful person and hes willing to help you if its in his power he will help you. Also Vero from cobblestones she helped me when I was stuck in a very bad and hard place. She did everything she could to help me. And she didbt judge me. Just listened and helped me so much. I’ve been coming to New Mexico Treatment Center for some time now there’s been a lot of staff that have came an gone it’s sad just when we start to open up to these counselors the next week they’re gone .Theres a few really good counselors up stairs .Theres 1 Dedicated to Her patience the most is Darlene, any time anyone has questions or concerns she’s on it. She goes above & beyond for her patience helps get dog food donated for those who are homeless with animals. They didn’t have security when I first started coming now they do it’s helped, u just have those without any where to go so yes they do hang around . I think they’re should be more programs that are hands on because Being an addict is one thing and for some it’s even harder for some to sit in a room full active users it makes it hard for those who are taking their sobriety serious. Keep up the fight to end addiction.

This VA is without question the Diamond in the Rough of the VA system. No matter the department or mental state that I arrive in...I have been treated with care and dignity and respect. I have been to some absolutely midevil VA hospitals that wouldn't know what a uterus is even if you threw one at em. As a female veteran ive found VA care to be very hit and miss, but the folks here both male and female staff have always strived to accommodate me (even if I was acting crazy). They have THE best mental health care in the VA IMO. BEACON (WALK-IN emergency mental health) is an absolute blessing and every VA should have something similar. If youre a vet and want to know about your benefits and care options, ABQ is the place to go. Is it without issues? Of course not. The difference here is when they do fall short they really work to fix it or make it right. I am so grateful to them for everything over the last 6 years Ive been here.

I have been seen by the optometrist, audiologist, ENT, sleep center, and most recently the MRI section and have been amazed EVERY time with the caring, professional attitudes of ALL of the employees. In fact, the last time I attempted an MRI at a civilian hospital, I was unable to complete it. At the VA, it was only due to Jeff's compassionate and caring manner that I was able to complete the MRI. This is the best healthcare I have ever received, bar none.

What I love the most (can't believe no one's mentioned it) is the multiple kinds of methadone that they offer. You choose the form! From liquid, to 10mg tablets. It's great. I personally am on 10mg tablets at 200mg. It's great and works way better for me than the liquid did! Thanks BAC!
