I'm addressing specifically the Infusion Center at Gila Regional Medical Center. After almost three months of working with my specialist in Albuquerque, I finally got into the infusion center (no fault of theirs or my Albuquerque doctor that it took so long). I was on my LAST day to have a critical shot. The two nurses at the Infusion Center were AMAZING! My biggest concern with GWMC is that from what I have seen and heard, it lacks critical strategic communications and customer service skills. The two nurses in the Infusion Center had both and were excellent! They even scheduled out my next appointment without me asking.

This place was helpful to me in someways such as giving me a safe space to be for a while. But for the “therapy”, its kinda a joke. I was in the male teen unit thingy and most therapy was “group” stuff involving mostly a coloring sheet (coloring is like 90 percent of the stuff you do here) most other people would not participate. This is also the closest you will experience to jail without committing a crime lmao. The other people your in there with are all there for different issues trust me. They mix in suicidal kids with “homicidal” kids. The staff was amazing though. All the tecs made every day better and the time go by faster untill your out and im forever thankful. They were fun but also stood on business. Food was also really good and you really start to look forward to it everyday. Staff is hella strict and make you feel weird too. Art room dude was also rlly cool and nice. Also avoid the pee chairs. Pretty nice place though. (Also the other people yournin there with will most likley drive you crazy. Just bite your tounge and chill out. Its over fast i promise :) )

My daughter was there for 90 days. I visited her, I loved the atmosphere, so peaceful, and they helped my daughter a lot. The staff was outstanding, everyone was so pleasant. I have heard a lot of people say this is a cult because of the reciting, well I guess catholisism is a cult because of standing and sitting and repeating after the priest. I graduated the program and did the continuess program, did internship then got a job, place and car.. I worked the program,, just like any other program ITS UP TO YOU weather you succeed or not!!! I'm grateful that I was able to get closer to my higher power, graduate drug court, mend my relationship with my daughter and parents, grow in many areas and become stable ,employed and learn about myself, traditions, culture, and so much more. Its not easy but its worth it! Rose and Peter were my mentors. I still keep in touch with Peter! He was the best and showed genuine care. Ray hosted bible study and meditation...to this day I still do those soul and spirit lifting tools. Thank you Amity && mentors for being apart of my recovery!!! I have been using this VA for over 8 years now, and it has been the best VA out of the 4 different VA's that I used over many years. Recently the community care office has been slow at renewals, but I know they are short handed now. I would highly recommend this VA and we must fight to keep it the way it is.

Living with rheumatoid arthritis is something I wouldn't wish on anyone. It's a brutally painful, isolating, and exhausting disease. What makes it bearable is having a VA doctor who truly knows me — not just my chart, but my name.
Dr. Helene Rhodes Kramer, Rheumatologist at the Tucson VA specialty clinics, is that doctor.
Recently, my pain got so bad that I went to the local VA emergency room for relief and completely forgot I had a scheduled tele-health visit with her. While I was in the ER receiving 1,000 mg of steroids shot to calm the inflammation, Dr. Kramer called because I hadn't logged into our video appointment. When she learned I was in the ER, she spoke directly with the emergency room team about my RA and my treatment.
I was so proud and grateful in that moment because it proved she knows my name and my story, and that she actively defends my care. That kind of attention and coordination doesn't just feel good emotionally — it improves my overall well-being and my medical outcomes. It's the difference between feeling like "just another patient" and feeling truly seen.
Dr. Kramer is my VA doctor because she knows who I am. That means everything when you're living with a chronic, painful disease.

I want to thank my counselor at st Mary's , Brandon I started seeing Brandon sin late Jan 2023 I learned a lot about my self how to handle everyday problems stress and anger management, Brandon always one on one devoted all I needed Brandon is exalant counselor he the extra time to make sure when I left class he want me feel stress free with a better understanding about what bothered me that day, I learned so I could on but the thing am so grateful to him he made me see myself for who I man because I had a very low self esteam he showed me am not only one with problem and for me to keep everything locked up om my chest, he gave me my Confidence back, if noticed I had bad day he would call on weekends to check up on me, I just want to thank you and couldn't have done without Brandon, made a friend for life

I had a grat experience with the Audiology department today. My ears were clogged and has been bothering me for a week now so I did a walk in.Johnny one of the receptionist found a way to squeeze me in and was called in within 10minutes. Andrea one of the technicians help me out and de clogged my ears in a timely manner..I am really grateful for the service. My wife and I are both 100% P&T, and the El Paso VA Main Clinic has consistently taken excellent care of us. The dental clinic is phenomenal—though appointments can sometimes take a little while, the quality of care makes it well worth it. The radiology department staff are always professional, friendly, and attentive. The community care process can be a bit challenging at times, but it does pay off in the end. On top of that, the cafeteria food is surprisingly delicious. Overall, the El Paso VA truly takes pride in caring for veterans, and it shows in the way they treat us.
