I am so glad I picked next step recovery in Asheville. I ve been to many treatment facilities and next step recovery was surely my absolute favorite for many reasons. I have just recently completed the program and found it extremely helpful in many ways. Next step recovery feels warm, welcoming and understood by everyone. I really enjoyed being a part of the group sessions as well because everyone gets a chance to share and nobody is left out. Group leaders, therapists and staff were also extremely informative knowledgeable and had real life experiences. I want to thank next step again, and I will surely stay in touch!

Great food, bedrooms and bathrooms were tidy. I have been in treatment before so some of the rules that other clients struggled with were not surprising to me. The office staff could be more organized. Only 4 stars because of not really anyone knowing what the schedule was and the schedule was constantly changing. Equine and art therapy were great. Hikes included packed lunches every week. Had tai chi classes as well were very relaxing. This is a holistic program focusing on mind, body, and spirit. Additionally, there is education about 12 step programs, SMART recovery, and other options as well. Be prepared to ask any questions you may have when calling for intake/admission.

I am grateful to Silver Ridge for providing me with a beautiful environment in the mountains where I could take the time I needed to get well. First I want to say thank you to the kitchen staff for all of the delicious and healthy meals. They truly sustained and helped my physical recovery and that has been vital for me. I am forever greatful to lake house. i made lasting friendships and i miss the staff. the staff were extremely supportive and helped me in every way they could. thank you liz, nadia, deana, anna, daliyah, and hope to making my stay truly special and always listening to me talk about my life and goals and things i ve been through.i was at lake house from february 2022- january 2023 and i would recommend it to any girl struggling with non-durastic problems, especially family relations. it will be hard to get used to, as there is a routine schedule, but it s worth it. when i left they had remodeled all of the bedrooms and started on a kitchen. under mckenzie hall she is extremely improving lake house. barely anyone is contained now and it s only when it s extremely needed. we went on fun outings like pottery or ice cream or apple orchards which was always really fun! it was nice to get out of the school and get back to normal life for a bit. the scene is nice outside and the lake is pretty. lake house formed me into the good person i am today and helped me create a strong relationship with my mom.thank you so much to everyone at lake house for the work you do and for improving my life and every persons there. i appreciate your effort and as i said, i am forever greatful! miss you guys and hope you are all doing well!

i had an extremely great experience here at lakehouse in 2023. immediately when i got there i had already felt so connected to the other residents that stayed throughout my whole journey and i built up even more of a relationship. this place is definitely relational and they hosted so many great outings and adventure times! the therapist i had was amazing and she truly guided me out of a dark place. i built extremely strong relationships with the staff and they were always there no matter what. the nursing team was phenomenal and very on top of the residents needs which helped me a lot. i could not have asked for a greater experience here and i miss it while heartily. this place saved my life. thank you for everything lakehouse i miss you guys a lot.

Our 22 year old son was failing to launch - gaming, marijuana use and generalized anxiety were issues that prevented him from moving into a healthy and successful adult life. The three months that he spent at Momentum provided just the right mixture of support, insight and challenge to help him channel his energies in a positive direction. His therapist, Joe, was compassionate and effective, and helped motivate our son to reach for more than he thought possible. He left Momentum with a very positive attitude about himself and his possibilities. He has just started a transition program where he is utilizing the lessons learned at Momentum to carve out his new life. Momentum is a very fine program with a dedicated, caring and skilled staff - we can highly recommend it!

I was very impressed with the quality of care that my son received at Trails Momentum. He was there from May 2023-September 2023. He arrived in a very sad and lost frame of mind. This place helped me out a lot. I struggle from type 2 bipolar disorder and they really sat down and try to understand what I was going through. I also have a lot of trauma and they sat down with me and try to help me deal with it. The doctor is really nice. Same with my nurses. My wife has Alzheimer's/FTD/PPA and was moved here from her memory care facility to get a medication adjustment and re-placement into another facility. She was always treated respectfully and was clean and comfortable. The staff always genuinely cared for my wife. She was there 4 weeks and is adjusting well to her new facility.

This place is pretty special. They spread good throughout an under-served segment of our community by providing a safe place for neighbors recovering and healing, who might not have the means to stay in a rehab facility. People who have bills to pay, family to care for, and work to do (or find) and still deal with their personal demons have solace here. Tools are provided for work training, personal empowerment, healing through creativity, and many more classes and offerings (both in person/virtual), as well as personal mental health therapy sessions. This group perfectly exemplifies our mountain culture of hospitality and endurance while occupying a historic craftsman style home near downtown Waynesville. I really cannot give enough words of praise for this down-to-earth home-grown practice of truly caring professionals.

There are good people here and I have found them. Most of the classes they offer give you wonderful suggestions to learn to set boundaries and manage Anxiety while the one on one actually helps a lot if you get the right person. I feel it has benefited me with suggestions and strategies that you can apply to every day life. As someone said on here you have to do the work yourself. Didn't take you a day to get here so give it a few weeks and if you don't have the right class or person ask for someone else or go to a different class.

If you put in the work also, this place will change your whole life. You have to want it. You have to do hard work. You can't expect just sitting thru the sessions will do it. That's where a lot of folks go wrong. You have to have the hard conversations, you have to take a hard look at yourself. It's not easy, but so very worth it!!!! The people here are amazing. Knowledgeable. They give their whole selves to helping others.

Did some work there is an outside vendor. It s a rehabilitation facility for men recovering from various forms of addiction. They learn how to live off the land and run a farm, everybody I saw there had a smile and a positive attitude, they invited me to eat with the patients and staff, the food was great. If it were not for the caring and patient staff of NC Brookhaven, we would not be alive today.Many staff members have contributed to my partner's abstinence from alcohol, but we really would like to praise his QP(Qualified Professional) Queen. I have experienced quite a journey as a native to Asheville Finding a good fit for a medical team. I should have already written this review. NC Brookhaven By FAR has been the best Treatment Center Experience I've had and that says alot considering I began going here "Virtually at the Height of Covid".Dr. Bryner has been the BEST Psychiatrist I've had in the city hands down. I say this because he is very empathetic to his patients needs. He understands we know our bodies and in conjunction with his expertise he is willing to make sure you are comfortable with your medication management.I am certain this is his calling and all I can do it say Thankyou.If your new to the area and adjusting this is a great place!Also the Ladies at the Front desk are polite punctual and great communicators at one point I lost my meds to a house fire and Dr. Jay and staff were immediately on it. It's so hard these days in the day of technology to find people who have a good balance of empathy and professionalism. I am grateful for the services Appalachian has provided over the past 6-7 years for my patients. Yes, they are understaffed and they are overworked, but they are also the only organization available in our area for people with mental health crises. There is a severe statewide and national problem of inadequate mental health services. Without Appalachian, our community would be in far worse shape, because there is nothing else like it available in this whole region. Despite the time it takes for some services, I believe they literally save lives.

I sent my 16 yr. old son to TRAILS in September 2023 and he graduated 3 months later. They did exactly what they said they were going to do. Having to use these services was an unfortunate event, but having Miss Yvonne made this experience a positive and I was glad to have her as an instructor. The entire experience was knowledgeable and compassionate. If anyone needs these services, I would not hesitate for a minute to recommend this business. M.A.R.C. was an incredible resource for me during my recovery. Once I decided I was done fighting my addiction on my own I went to M.A.R.C. I truly believe that had I gone anywhere else I would NOT have faired as well as I did. I am coming up on my 10th year clean& sober& I have Mountain Area Recovery Center to thank for that(& the most incredible counselor I've EVER had). At M.A.R.C. it was like a family. The staff there was kind, respectful& professional, yet we went allowed to get away with anything, lol!! Some of my fondest memories of my recovery are from M.A.R.C.
Unfortunately M.A.R.C. was sold to a HORRIBLY UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANY B.H.G. this corporation is not about ANYTHING BUT $MONEY$! They can't seem to keep help& the help that does stay have major issues with doing their job.
I THANK GOD that I was lucky enough to enter into my recovery while M.A.R.C. was still up& running. I truly feel had I just entered into my recovery NOW with BHG, I NEVER WOULD'VE MADE IT!!
