Had a friend who was going through a rough patch. He didn't have the money to afford any of those fancy facilities. But at Bethel they just have an entry fee and really understand where you're coming from. They are dedicated to helping broken men get a new start in life. My friend has never been better and has been sober for three years now.

I have recently brought another friend to Bethel in hopes that God will do for him what he did for my other friend, who stayed 9 months voluntarily. With no place to go, his mother who was going blind had sold her home and was moving into assisted living, saw such a change in her son that she forfeited her deposit, bought another house, and asked him to come home. He is now taking care of his “legally blind” mom and was recently asked DWI charges in the first 6 months I knew him. Was a drug dealer for years and served years in prison.
What a changed man he is now, a true witness of what God can do through this ministry, Bethel House of Mercy.

Daymark in Boone was an amazing help today. They got us in quickly when we called and talked to them as we were trying to get in anywhere. Debbie and the entire front office we welcoming and absolutely amazing taking time to check on us even after the provider had seen us. It is difficult having you child so far from home at school and needing to talk to someone and these ladies were amazing and so helpful. I am extremely impressed with Daymark in Boone and the staff and provider my child met. Highly recommend just from my interaction with the staff.

These people are like family. They nurses seem to truly care about the patients and can answer almost any questions regarding both Methadone and Subutex. Counselors are great! Other agencies would be lucky to have some of Stepping Stone's employees.

A few short years ago I sat next to my brother 3 separate times in the hospital as he struggled to survive his latest suicide attempt or drug overdose. He tried to get clean, but were unsuccessful with 3 different programs in south FL. I called around to my family and friends and told them he needed to get out of Fl. I knew where his path would lead if he didn’t have a complete environmental change. A safe place to retreat. That’s when my cousin found Freedom Farm Ministries.
I can honestly say having a place like Freedom Farm who made it so easy to get my brother in made all the difference. Through the leadership there, and by God's grace my brother is now thriving.

I attended the open house for the grand reopening of the Caldwell House after recent renovations. A great place to help men who are struggling with addiction. As a child in the early 2000's I went here it was awful..no love nothing is personalized and there's no real passion from the workers. It was just a job to them.. I'm older now moved to California started a business and started a family I came down here to visit today & it brought up so many memories of how I was treated & what I really needed when I was there..which really made me just want to knock on their doors and ask for a job... because the kids who go here really need someone who's walked in their same steps and came out on the other side Victorious . They need love and personalized care real attention to get to the root of the problem . Not just looked at as a bunch of mentally ill kids.. because all I was really missing was someone to truly care & to give me some tough love.

I went to this bethel colony of mercy in the early 2000's. I lived in New Jersey and a friend got me a bus ticket and sent me to the colony. I got clean for a while but backslid after a couple of years. But the seed was planted. I got my GED at Caldwell community college while I was there. Many years later on March 30th of 2011 I lost my mom .. that was the day I grew up. I relapsed again for the last time and went to prison for 3 years and finally got clean for good. Bethel colony planted the seed and I'm a better person today. Thank God I went to this place. It did change my life ... My bad lifestyle finally caught up to me and I'm dealing with a lot of health problems. I'm still in a positive mindset even through my trials. Glory be to God for transforming me and my life.

I have been involved with focus for going on 2 years now. I have had nothing but a positive experience from the beginning. The staff have always been super nice and helpful. We started out with the nurse practitioner Sonya and she was amazing. Understandably, she felt my child had far more issues than she could help with (I adopted a child with MANY mental issues so I understood completely). She referred us to Dr. Igbul who was also amazing. At the time for one of her appointments, he was out of town and we got scheduled with Dr. Fairchild. She is absolutely nothing short of amazing. She has helped so much and has answered questions I have had for years that nobody has been able to answer in 10 years. I will stick with Dr. Fairchild forever. I see a lot of negative reviews but like I said, in the 2 years I have been affiliated with them, they have been amazing!

I got my life back because of willow and I’m thankful every single day. I will ALWAYS recommend Willow to others looking for help and know they are in great care.
Jenny, the director is such a loving and caring woman that really goes above and beyond for her patients and her employees. All of the techs and the therapist got me through the hardest parts of my life and helped to pull me out of a black hole I never thought I could escape.

Jason took the time to truly know our grandfather — not just as a patient, but as a person. He treated him with such respect and dignity, and his gentle manner brought great comfort to both Mike and our entire family. Jason, originally from Milwaukee, exemplifies what it means to serve with heart.
Our family has been coming to Charles George VA for over 50 years, and through every season of life, you have cared for us with grace, empathy, and excellence. When our grandfather passed, the way your team honored him — with the playing of trumpets and the entire floor showing their respect as he was wheeled out — was one of the most moving and beautiful gestures we have ever witnessed.

I had a great experience I was scared because of a bad experience I had at ECU. I cannot think the doctors nurses and tech staff enuff.. Y'all took great care of me without making me feel like a burden and that is what you need whenever you're having a nervous breakdown. Nurses took good care of me without making me feel like I was less than. They made sure I had everything I needed. Both my doctors worked very hard with me and got me on the correct medicines and I am home now and feeling better and brand new than I have in years. The staff here is absolutely amazing . This treatment center saved my life. Even though it is state funded the view on the rehab side was beautiful. My detox was taken care of appropriately, and my mental health was then stabilized. After I got to the rehab side I was given numerous tools and education, I can’t begin to express my gratitude to the staff and the doctors here for outstanding treatment.

The staff is incredible!! They really care about you and want you to get better. If someone relapsed it was due to their own choice not the staff's. Really recommend this place.

I was a resident here in 2021, these people made me feel like a person again, beautiful campus and program. I really enjoyed daily walks and visiting the tree in the cemetery with all of the wind chimes ! Thank you for my foundation in sobriety, im going on 5 years of freedom from active addiction ! It was one of the best experiences of my life. I found their holistic approach comprehensive,and I really felt care for. The staff were well informed amd understand in their approach. I enjoyed the cognitive behavioral treatment and the off campus activities. The housing was clean,modern and peaceful.The program allowed me to focus on my recovery,and plug in to local 12 step networks.
