Applying for Bethel Colony of Mercy was the first stop in the steps I’ve taken to turn my life around from a life style of very many colors and wrong choices. The staff and guidance that are involved with this Christ recovery transformation center are beyond immaculate. Without those individuals one on one advisory, classroom lessons, daily tasks, genuine fellowship, and of course the power of God I wouldn’t be making the right choices now to be reunited with my loved ones. Or, have my life together by any means of doing this “thing” called life all on my own. I am forever grateful for everyone that god placed into my life through making the decision to go to bethel colony of mercy 😇 Sending prayers to the women’s and men’s campus’ for their strength, unity, protection, faith, and healing. Graduation class ‘24. Recent graduate here. Hebron Colony holds a special place in my heart. FOREVER!!! During my time of healing on the mountain I experienced a sincerity, and honest compassion from the pastors that was real. That mountain is amazing, the presence of The Lord there is absolutely UNDENIABLE!! I met some of the best men in the world there that just happened to get off track in life & sought The Lord to get back on track! I would recommend this place to ANY MAN struggling with drug addiction/alcoholism. Pastor Bryan, Gene, Don and RD are incredible Men of God. It’s my other family now. I’m forever grateful and changed.

As a child in the early 2000's I went here it was awful..no love nothing is personalized and there's no real passion from the workers. It was just a job to them.. I'm older now moved to California started a business and started a family I came down here to visit today & it brought up so many memories of how I was treated & what I really needed when I was there..which really made me just want to knock on their doors and ask for a job... because the kids who go here really need someone who's walked in their same steps and came out on the other side Victorious . They need love and personalized care real attention to get to the root of the problem . Not just looked at as a bunch of mentally ill kids.. because all I was really missing was someone to truly care & to give me some tough love.

I have been involved with focus for going on 2 years now. I have had nothing but a positive experience from the beginning. The staff have always been super nice and helpful. We started out with the nurse practitioner Sonya and she was amazing. Understandably, she felt my child had far more issues than she could help with (I adopted a child with MANY mental issues so I understood completely). She referred us to Dr. Igbul who was also amazing. At the time for one of her appointments, he was out of town and we got scheduled with Dr. Fairchild. She is absolutely nothing short of amazing. She has helped so much and has answered questions I have had for years that nobody has been able to answer in 10 years. I will stick with Dr. Fairchild forever. I see a lot of negative reviews but like I said, in the 2 years I have been affiliated with them, they have been amazing!

(This account is my husband’s) When I say Willow Ridge saved my life, it’s an understatement. Everyone that works there is devoted to every individual’s needs, comfort, and improvement. I got my life back because of willow and I’m thankful every single day. I will ALWAYS recommend Willow to others looking for help and know they are in great care. Jenny, the director is such a loving and caring woman that really goes above and beyond for her patients and her employees. All of the techs and the therapist got me through the hardest parts of my life and helped to pull me out of a black hole I never thought I could escape. Now today, I am over a year clean and I owe so much of that to willow. I truly gained my life and my family back. AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING

I came to Willow Ridge at the lowest point in my life. I was scared and didn't know where to turn. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel safe and supported. The counselors are compassionate and truly understand addiction. The therapy sessions were incredibly helpful, and I learned so much about myself and the underlying causes of my addiction. What sets Willow Ridge apart is the sense of community. I connected with other patients who were going through similar struggles, and we supported each other every step of the way. The group activities and outings were also a lot of fun and helped me rediscover some of my passions. Today, I am sober and living a life beyond my wildest dreams, and I owe it all to the amazing team at Willow Ridge. If you're struggling with addiction, please don't hesitate to reach out to them. It was the best decision I ever made!!

I have been to both the detox and rehab side of ADACT. I had a good experience. I felt welcomed and the staff is great especially Kelly, she goes above and beyond for the patients. The doctors and therapist helped me stabilize my meds. The classes were great too i learned different ways to cope and retrain my brain to start good habits to replace the bad. As an addict I felt like I was somewhere I could relate to my issues that not everyone can understand. Coming out of a toxic marriage that led to my addiction and mental health it was good to be somewhere different and around new people to get away from my usual triggers and start to take the first step to recovery and living a healthy life. When I finished they guided me in the right direction to continue staying on track for my recovery.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Life-Changing Experience — Forever Grateful Julian F. Keith Alcohol and Drug Abuse Treatment Center was the turning point in my life. After attending five different rehabs, I arrived here in 2020 feeling lost and uncertain if lasting change was possible. But this place—this team—changed everything for me. From the moment I walked through the doors, the front office staff greeted me with kindness and dignity. The nurses were compassionate and attentive, the recovery coaches and counselors truly listened, and the education team made learning feel meaningful again. My therapist was nothing short of life-changing—she helped me dig deeper and start healing in ways I never thought possible. Even the cafeteria staff made an impact. They didn’t just serve meals—they served encouragement with every plate, and their warmth stayed with me daily. Because of Julian F. Keith, I began to believe in myself again. Today, I’m proud to say I’ve earned my associate’s and bachelor’s degrees, and I’m now finishing my master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Substance Use Disorders, with a focus on trauma and gender identity. I’m also a North Carolina Board Certified Peer Support Specialist, giving back to others just like me—because someone once did the same for me here. This center helped me reimagine my future and reconnect with my purpose. I will always carry gratitude in my heart for what they gave me. I genuinely believe that without their guidance, structure, and compassion, I would not be where I am today. Thank you to every single person at Julian F. Keith. You changed my life. —Jennifer Nicole Brooks

Before coming to October Road, I felt completely hopeless. I had been through treatment for alcohol 15 times, often labeled a "chronic relapser." Failure and rejection became familiar companions, and life left me feeling scarred, broken, and too afraid to try again. But yesterday, I graduated. And for the first time in a long time, I felt surrounded by real love and respect. The support I received here was different—it was genuine, consistent, and life-changing. I’ve never felt more seen or valued. Now, I know I’ll always have a family at October Road. Today, I feel worthy. And that changes everything.
