Linville, NC | Charles Cannon Memorial Hospital is a multidisciplinary hospital in Linville, North Carolina. They feature departments like an emergency room and a lab, but they also have an outpatient behavioral health clinic. At this clinic, they offer individualized treatment for any behavioral health needs like drug and alcohol addiction and mental health diso | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I’ve been to a few behavioral hospitals and this one helped me the most. The whole staff including the doctors were very nice and treated everyone with dignity. This meant a lot at a vulnerable and scary time in my life. I didn’t come out of this place more traumatized. I came out feeling better and more peaceful and knowing I needed to be there when I was. That is a very different mindset for me considering how I feel about these hospitals. The only downside that I didn’t understand was having to be up at 6 and not able to return to your room until 9. Unless you have a bedroom order from the doctor you have to walk around feeling mentally and physically exhausted while you’re in a strange place and your body is getting used to new medications. They have mats you can put together and lay on the floor but it’s not comfortable. That’s the only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars. The days can be long and exhausting. Other than that, my experience here was good and I felt like going here saved my life and my sanity. I had my own room and the food was better than other places. I also didn’t get searched in a traumatic way. They did not give me a humiliating cavity search. If you want a behavioral facility where people care and are going to treat you with kindness and dignity, go here.

Had a friend who was going through a rough patch. He didn't have the money to afford any of those fancy facilities. But at Bethel they just have an entry fee and really understand where you're coming from. They are dedicated to helping broken men get a new start in life. My friend has never been better and has been sober for three years now.
I have recently brought another friend to Bethel in hopes that God will do for him what he did for my other friend, who stayed 9 months voluntarily. With no place to go, his mother who was going blind had sold her home and was moving into assisted living, saw such a change in her son that she forfeited her deposit, bought another house, and asked him to come home. He is now taking care of his “legally blind” mom and was recently asked DWI charges in the first 6 months I knew him. Was a drug dealer for years and served years in prison.
What a changed man he is now, a true witness of what God can do through this ministry, Bethel House of Mercy.

Graduation class ‘24. Recent graduate here. Hebron Colony holds a special place in my heart. FOREVER!!! During my time of healing on the mountain I experienced a sincerity, and honest compassion from the pastors that was real. That mountain is amazing, the presence of The Lord there is absolutely UNDENIABLE!! I met some of the best men in the world there that just happened to get off track in life & sought The Lord to get back on track! I would recommend this place to ANY MAN struggling with drug addiction/alcoholism. Pastor Bryan, Gene, Don and RD are incredible Men of God. It’s my other family now. I have been going to Daymark since October 2025 to current and I can't say enough good things about it. Susan, April, and Sandra at the front desk are AMAZING and my five month old son just adores them every time we are in the waiting room, and I look forward to seeing them every time I come. Terry is also such a sweetheart as well, so friendly and makes me feel comfortable. The support and resources I have received from Daymark has been absolutely LIFE CHANGING in the best ways possible and I'm so thankful for everyone there and everything they do. The people there really do care and it's not just a job to them, you can tell they are very passionate about what they do. Reece, Claudia, Beth, KP, Mr. Byrd and all of the interns have been AWESOME and SOOOOO helpful. I can't imagine what my life would have been like if I would have never come to Daymark. I haven't met a single person that I did not like there and I don't have a single bad thing to say.

I went to this bethel colony of mercy in the early 2000's. I lived in New Jersey and a friend got me a bus ticket and sent me to the colony. I got clean for a while but backslid after a couple of years. But the seed was planted. I got my GED at Caldwell community college while I was there. Many years later on March 30th of 2011 I lost my mom .. that was the day I grew up. I relapsed again for the last time and went to prison for 3 years and finally got clean for good. Bethel colony planted the seed and I'm a better person today. Thank God I went to this place. It did change my life ... My bad lifestyle finally caught up to me and I'm dealing with a lot of health problems. I'm still in a positive mindset even through my trials. Glory be to God for transforming me and my life.

I have been involved with focus for going on 2 years now. I have had nothing but a positive experience from the beginning. The staff have always been super nice and helpful. We started out with the nurse practitioner Sonya and she was amazing. Understandably, she felt my child had far more issues than she could help with (I adopted a child with MANY mental issues so I understood completely). She referred us to Dr. Igbul who was also amazing. At the time for one of her appointments, he was out of town and we got scheduled with Dr. Fairchild. She is absolutely nothing short of amazing. She has helped so much and has answered questions I have had for years that nobody has been able to answer in 10 years. I will stick with Dr. Fairchild forever. I see a lot of negative reviews but like I said, in the 2 years I have been affiliated with them, they have been amazing!

I came to Willow Ridge at the lowest point in my life. I was scared and didn't know where to turn. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel safe and supported. The counselors are compassionate and truly understand addiction. The therapy sessions were incredibly helpful, and I learned so much about myself and the underlying causes of my addiction.
What sets Willow Ridge apart is the sense of community. I connected with other patients who were going through similar struggles, and we supported each other every step of the way. The group activities and outings were also a lot of fun and helped me rediscover some of my passions.
Today, I am sober and living a life beyond my wildest dreams, and I owe it all to the amazing team at Willow Ridge. If you're struggling with addiction, please don't hesitate to reach out to them. It was the best decision I ever made!!

This is the BEST clinic I’ve ever experienced. The staff who run this place are hands down the most genuinely caring and supportive people who put in work behind the scenes to improve the lives of the clients. From the check in desk, to the nurses and counselors, they are extremely professional, yet feel like family. Gabby Harkey, the director and a counselor, is someone I feel comfortable with who I genuinely wish could be my friend. She’s fought hard for us to be able to have more takehomes and for more people to have access to treatment around WNC and the work she puts in behind the scenes has noticeably helped my day to day life. Rhi, Dr Gilpin, and every single person I’ve encountered here is kind, relatable, laid back AND professional all at the same time. They’ve helped me get to a point where the clinic doesn’t dominate my life like it used to in the past, and I’m eternally grateful to each and every one of them for what they have done for my family. I’d recommend this place to anyone no matter where you are on your recovery journey, because the staff is prepared to meet you where you are and offer you assistance and resources to be your best self. My overall quality of life has improved since going here and I owe it all to them. It’s difficult to convey my gratitude in words, but thank you Gabby & team for existing as you do.

My name is Kelly Bowling, and I have three years clean and sober. My recovery journey started with October Road when I entered their PHP program, which at the time was called the River House.
One thing I’ve learned in recovery is that many treatment programs struggle with staffing, and people in early recovery often don’t have positive examples to look up to. That was not my experience here—far from it. I was surrounded by staff who genuinely cared and demonstrated what recovery, professionalism, and service look like every day.
The BHTs, clinicians, counselors, and support staff created an environment that was both structured and supportive. Justin, Alex, Chuck, and Gray made a lasting impact on me. They treated us with dignity, held us accountable, and encouraged us to believe that a better life was possible.
The community was just as important. The groups were meaningful, the other clients became a source of support, and the overall culture helped me build a strong foundation for recovery. During my time there, I served as the cook for my house and even became the barber for many of the clients. We built healthy relationships, supported one another, and enjoyed simple things like going to the river after clinical days.
I continued my journey with October Road through IOP and early recovery services. Even today, I still use October Road for my medical needs. I also return from time to time to speak with clients and share my experience, strength, and hope.
Today, I serve in a leadership role in recovery and reentry services with a community-based organization called Operation Gateway. The foundation for the work I do today was built at October Road. The lessons, support, and examples I received there helped shape the person and professional I have become.
I have a great deal of love and respect for everyone involved with this organization. They were part of the beginning of a life-changing journey, and I will always be grateful for the role they played in my recovery.

North Carolina is ranked 28th nationwide in terms of addiction treatment affordability, with an average cost of addiction treatment of $56,759.
The costs of drug and alcohol rehab in North Carolina vary widely and depend on several factors, including:
