Catherine Novak is an excellent Therapist. My dog Panda and I are so grateful for her. She's a good listener and very helpful in so many ways She's an asset to Far West Center in Amherst. The front desk staff/secretaries are very helpful. **Whomever is in charge of allowing Therapist to have Telehealth option, please take this into consideration. When some patients have bad anxiety days or bad pain days, this option would make their lives much easier, while being able to continue therapy. Thank you!

Good facility and kind, helpful people. Staff are always friendly and appointments begin on time. Abby, Stacy, and Catherine are wonderful! Stacey is very conscientious and caring, and she helped me adjust my prescriptions to find what works great for me. I did have to wait a month to get my first appointment as their office is popular, but once I got in I was able to schedule regularly. If the Far West center reads this, please consider introducing a telehealth option! It is convenient and helpful for people with anxiety or transportation issues. I think your patients would really benefit. Thanks for all you do.

I have been going for almost 5 years now. I do love my therapist Lindsey very much, you guys are very understanding when it comes to me missing appointments. My only complaint is that most of the time when I call, no one answers. Thank you and Lindsey for helping me be a normal person in society and helping me be able to help myself. I just have to say that man working at the front desk named John was absolutely amazing and gets a five-star review for customer care and service. They have doctors and case management, they are getting my son's mother in and helping her where no one else could for months she's even missed an appointment and they still got her in right away, she is an extreme case, but I've never seen someone go so far to help somebody, and I would recommend them to anybody it reminds me of what the Nord center used to be like 20 years ago.

They transport my daughter daily to a adult center. They are so efficient, they contact me nightly to let me know who is picking her up and what time they will be arriving. The drivers will either text or call me 10 minutes ahead to be ready for pickup. Great staff they have, they go beyond the call if duty. My daughter thinks Paul and Leon are the best.

Very good listener. Paying attention to my personal situation and very understanding treated me as a individual and not a project. If u want people who care show support this is your place. I am surprised at all the negative comments. I've had nothing but good experiences here and the philosophy of signature health seems to be to try to wrap services around people so that we're getting help from more than one direction if we need it. That makes so much sense.

I have been going to Signature for a while and I love speaking with Lashonda Her energy and attitude is amazing she's always well groomed and friendly even over the phone and when we came across each other in the store I appreciate your kindness and your patience in dealing with people battling mental health we appreciate you.

Inpatient, there needs to be more groups and activities to fill in idol time. I found that I had anxiety more when we were just sitting around. Great nurses. And Barb is the best. The food is horrendous. For hospital food you would think it would be healthier and of better quality. Outpatient, I wouldn't change a thing. Great program and counselors. Especially Elizabeth. Also, when going to the ER for mental health issues, the area where they hold us is not good. Left alone for 4 hours, except when medical staff visited. Gave me worse anxiety. Thank God they let someone to come in and sit with me after a period of time. Thank you

Negatives: OK the rooms weren't exactly up to Ritz standards and the food was hospital grade. There were one or two staff members that seemed less than happy to be there and even a little short with the patients. No place is going to get a five star rating. You are going to find faults no matter where you go. I was in inpatient between January 9th and 14th for anxiety and depression as well as "SI". This was my first time in a facility, so I was extremely apprehensive. I had seen the horror stories about mismanaged mental hospitals and was on high alert going in. It ended as soon as I was carted in. The staff was, for the most part, very helpful and caring. They did regular vital checks, bed checks, 4 counseling classes a day (optional), had regular 1on 1 check ins with psychiatrists and therapists, etc... This place was an overall game changer. I went in at the end of my rope. I had hit the wall in every way. This place and the people in it helped me process my feelings, got me on necessary medication, and helped me find outside mental health assistance for my continued recovery. To the staff and my peers. Thank you for your kindness and compassion in helping me climb out of the darkness.

I would like recognition to go to Dr. Ashley Kenzik for her superior work in treating my diabetes. I was taking 3 shots of Novolog and 2 shots of Lantus per day along with a weekly shot of Ozembic. I now take solely one shot of Ozembic per week. And with the Ozembic my weight has gone from 305 to 258. In my opinion, one could not ask for a better physician than Dr. Kenzik. 08/14/25, this is to bring recognition to Dr. Pileski and Norma Thomas. I went to the civilian ER this morning for swelling in my calf and both feet. Doctor said I needed a certain medication asap and sent prescription to civilian pharmacy. Couldn't get hold of them all day. Norma called me to check on my status, and when I informed her of the situation she put in to have that med. shipped overnight. Can always trust the VA.

I have been going to the Lorain VA since roughly 2020 and they have treated me very well and have be concerned with me as a patient. I am grateful for the treatment I have received there.

Some people care and most don't, this has been my experience in Sheffield village. Most Dr.s (the outside world) try to go the extra mile to help you if you are in pain..these people question you. I would really like to drop the Dr. I have now, for a different one. Very frustrating! Update..got a new Dr. and was explained alot more about my condition. This is what I have learned about dealing with the V.A. or anything dealing with the government. If you don't feel they are listening to you, you have the right to drop them for a different person. Right now..I am satisfied with my new Dr. I will give 4 stars and hope I don't have to find another one.

Terry Kelleman and his knowledgeable staff provide the support and a comfortable safe environment to learn and develop the skills to overcome and defeat whatever "demons" are troubling you. Be it anger management, substance abuse issues or otherwise, I would highly recommend speaking with the helpful folks a TKC!

Best Mental Health Facility in Lorain County! The atmosphere is welcoming, calming and beautiful. They have so many talented counselors. I have been coming here for many years. Best experience in an office I have had! Very professional and they answer the phone! Diana is a mentor to me and has improved my life as business owner and person. I am very grateful to be a client. I highly recommend this place if you are looking to evolve as a person.

Specifically for the care at the cosgrove maternity ward. We were delayed to have our baby induced and the staff was extremely apologetic. Understaffed and high volume of babies being born, the team here is incredible. This was my second delivery here. My primary nurse Macey is so kind, caring and friendly. Bubbly and professional, she made my experience go so smoothly and was so personable. After in recovery all of our nurses were fantastic. Brenda Teddy and Emma were attentive, friendly and made me feel our concerns and voices were heard. Shout out to Olivia whom is probably the sweetest, nicest staff member I've ever had! She is truly in the right profession.

I can not say enough about this place. I found such dear friends as a result of IOP and sobriety. Even Rock Creek was a blessing to me.

This place is incredible. If you are researching the IOP program and your journey lead you to these reviews- I hope you strongly consider taking the leap and getting yourself enrolled in this incredible program. This changed my life, the counselor Paul- is absolutely born for leading this program. I completed the program and saw many before me complete this and not a single person had a negative thought about their time in this program. I have never been more happy with a decision like I am with choosing this place.

I have been going here for around 3 years give or take an absolutely love My Councilor an every one is very friendly and caring.

I had a small (HUGE) problem with Bayshore a few years back that even resulted in policy change but since then with staffing upgrades the place is awesome. My therapist Chelsea is hands down the best in the industry. I've been in therapy for over 30 years and never made the personal growth I have experienced with my team at Bayshore. They. Eat the other local option, Firelands, alive. I would have given 5 stars but I hold resentments for my incident there, but I'll add that to the list of things I need to work on.
