My dog Panda and I are so grateful for her. She's a good listener and very helpful in so many ways She's an asset to Far West Center in Amherst. The front desk staff/secretaries are very helpful. **Whomever is in charge of allowing Therapist to have Telehealth option, please take this into consideration. When some patients have bad anxiety days or bad pain days, this option would make their lives much easier, while being able to continue therapy. Thank you! Stacey is very conscientious and caring, and she helped me adjust my prescriptions to find what works great for me. I did have to wait a month to get my first appointment as their office is popular, but once I got in I was able to schedule regularly. If the Far West center reads this, please consider introducing a telehealth option! It is convenient and helpful for people with anxiety or transportation issues. I sincerely appreciate all the progress Signature Health has helped me accomplish the last 6 years. Lakewood location in particular has really great staff but like any other Behavioural Health provider, you have to find people you vibe with for therapy and psych. It takes time. Don't get discouraged. It is the best place to be, and I've been working on my mental health for 17 years with a lot of trial and error. Still working on it. They’ve both been very kind and understanding and although I do like my care providers at my regular PCP’s office, I did not feel like my medication needs were being adequately addressed and to come over to signature health I feel more secure and optimistic about getting my needs met. I will leave another review as time goes on but so far my experience has been great! Every single staff member was warm, kind and helpful, even those serving food and doing housekeeping. I was impressed with the food and drink selection. Barb's groups were the best. The huge windows in the common area are a very nice touch. I enjoyed my room - when you consider the necessary safety measures in place, I think you'd rate it five stars. I found that I had anxiety more when we were just sitting around. Great nurses. And Barb is the best. The food is horrendous. For hospital food you would think it would be healthier and of better quality. Outpatient, I wouldn't change a thing. Great program and counselors. Especially Elizabeth. Also, when going to the ER for mental health issues, the area where they hold us is not good. Left alone for 4 hours, except when medical staff visited. Gave me worse anxiety. My therapist Chelsea is hands down the best in the industry. I've been in therapy for over 30 years and never made the personal growth I have experienced with my team at Bayshore. They. Very happy with how fast Dr. Sherlock completed the surgery. I did not see him on the day due to his packed schedule, but he followed up with a call the next day to check on me. blue5522 2 months ago I came in because I was experiencing stomach twisting, some nausea with extreme hunger and thirst that lasted all day but i could tell it wasn’t sickness. The staff were very patient and kind with me while I was having a hard time thinking. They had me take muiltiple tests all while communicating the process and being gentle with me. It’s was quite a wait to see a doctor but it was clear they were low on rooms and seemed to be understaffed at the time.
