Phenomenal organization that truly cares about its patients recovery and were so helpful in my daughter's treatment, she is better off now from where she was when she first went in. It was not a perfect experience - there were several miscommunications that detracted from the recovery but their management owned all mistakes and missteps - Bill and Jen were especially forthcoming in this, something I appreciated. Most of the other staff were exemplary in their roles in supporting patients in their journey - want to especially recognize Amber as someone who exemplified the lodge's ideals of compassion and professionalism, she made a difference in my daughter's life.

its tough to write a poor review for a program that looks to help both young and old who struggle from mental illness as well as substance abuse but this place absolutely deserves it. I was floored when I went for my initial consult as a senior looking for
an out patient program for someone with a dual diagnosis. This is not a place for adult professionals. Young kids hanging around the entrance way, the staff that greets you is totally inappropriate and unprofessional as well as the management staff. Please make sure you sign a waiver for them to not hit your insurance unless you enter a specific program. They are all about the money and hitting your insurance. They actually made me take a breathalyzer not only once after blowing a low number but again before I left otherwise they were going to call the Paramus police. If was a ploy to keep so they can send me there bull crap sales pitch. I went there looking for a group I could trust and was understanding to my situation and they treated me like I was at Bergen County Prison. STAY AWAY IF YOU ARE A PROFESSIONAL AND HAVE INSURANCE. THIS PLACE IS TERRIBLE.

Was forced to go here as a teenager. The amount of drugs I was introduced to by group members was so much more detrimental than the emotional issues I was having due to abusive parents. Oh, also… the driver who would pick me up from school supplied us alcohol hoping to get us “loose”, let people hook up in the van while glancing in the rear view mirror, tried to physically assault me and did to several of the other girls, would switch out our pee which was conveniently stored in the same closet they kept the keys with people who were sober. The “school” is a joke, we would smoke pens in the bathroom or snort coke quickly in the class and joke “High Focus where we focus high” None of the group therapy actually was effective and extremely generic. They missed signs of self harm for many of the girls or recognized when half there groups were participating high. Of the group I was in at least 4 of them died of substance abuse, 2 suicides, one became a fairly successful drug dealer and two of us were able to close the chapter of our terrible childhoods. Don't send your kids here! They are negligent at best.

It’s hard to believe it’s been one year since I was admitted to Water Gap Wellness. Looking back, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude for how far I’ve come. Today, I’m thriving in my profession, deeply connected to my family and friends, and—most importantly—healthy in every sense of the word.
From humble beginnings, I now wake up to a life filled with possibilities, choices, and hope. That transformation didn’t happen overnight—and it didn’t happen alone. The support, compassion, and guidance I received during my time in treatment will stay with me forever.
Water Gap wasn’t just a stop along the way—it was a turning point. A place where I learned how to heal, how to grow, and how to believe in myself again.

As someone who recently left this facility (isn't my actual name), I don't agree with many of the reviews that I've seen. What I saw was a facility truly trying to help those who come in. Staff that would bend-over-backward to try to make people feel comfortable. They have a small staff, and a limited budget, and they go above and beyond places I've been that don't need to say the same. The rooms are clean everyday. The showers are great; let alone "not being able to clean your toothbrush". The place can be chaotic, but what would you call the people coming here in the first place? This isn't a spa; it's a place for sick people to get well, and they do their best to do that. I can't help but think a lot of these reviews are simply angry reviews by regularly angry people. It comes with the territory - we're people struggling. But I appreciate this place and the time I spent here; the staff and the effort they put in. The only credence I'll give is the minimal amount of contact to family had while here, but that doesn't equate to an unsafe environment and the allowance for people to make up whatever stories they want to about the place.
Anyway - to the staff of Hillside; thank you. You did a lot for me in my short time there. You actually pushed me to really think about getting into this line of work - helping people who are struggling as I still am, though improving everyday. Because of people like you, and places like Hillside

I went to this facility for a planned same-day surgery. The facility is very clean and modern appearing. The staff were all very kind and knowledgeable. I was rather anxious leading up to the procedure and the nurses were excellent with thoroughly explaining what to expect. This, coupled with excellent bedside manner helped to calm my nerves. This was my first time at this facility but based on my experience, I would highly recommend!

Just left Phoenix house. Don't come here if you expect treatment. If you're homeless than yes this is your place as most current clients are just homeless people with no drug problems. Don't bring anything expensive. It'll be stolen (staff) . Don't trust any higher ups(they steal also) They also hate white people so if you're white please go elsewhere. That's my best advice.

WDR was my first and hopefully last rehab. I didn’t really know what to expect but I can say this place and everyone who works there are top notch. From the kitchen staff to housekeeping. The nurse and techs cared more about my recovery than I did. They really try to work with you. My case worker Donna was the bomb and even though she was in charge of my case that didn’t stop any of the workers from helping me when I needed it. The techs have a story of their own and they really get it. No one was judge mental and they treated everyone like a human being. There isn’t one person who worked there that I wish I didn’t meet. I honestly wish I could have bought them all home with me. Even the community was awesome. Clients helping clients. I give WDR a 10+ on the rating skill. The director even steps in and got his hands dirty. It’s team work at its best. I honestly fought the program the whole time for my own reasons. A week later I’m still sober ❤️ Thanks WDR for believing in me even when I didn’t believe in myself you guys made a good impact on me and my family Loves y’all more. Good luck to anyone who joins this program you will not be disappointed ❤️💪

Anyone that gave dats anything less than 5 stats did not take their recovery seriously and blames dats for their mistakes.
I've been attending for three years and i can't put into words how they've helped me. Both of my counselors I've had sine may 2020 "Lauren and especially sherry connelly" have done so much for me and I wouldn't be 3 years sober without them.

The therapist that I have now is wonderful. Maureen is very personable and seems like she truly cares about you. There have been times where I have had to stop treatment due to lack of insurance and each time I have came back she has remembered me. That makes me feel confident in telling her everything.The doctor I have this time is much better. The man who used to be there was very rude and I felt that he did not care. Dr. Belkin takes her time to discuss everything with you and makes sure to answer any questions.I miss Nicole, who used to work at the front desk. She always greeted me with a smile and did her best to work with my schedule. The new lady is very rude, she ignores you when you walk in and does not try to accommodate any changes. My hours change frequently and she just keeps pushing my dates back further and further. I asked her if I was able to make 2 apts and call to tell her which I could make she was very rude and just told me no. That makes me feel unimportant.

I went to the ER this week and was admitted and had a laparoscopic surgery this week, and the experience was fabulous. The hospital is not fancy, but the people who work there were fabulous, the nurses, the doctors, everyone was so wonderful I was overwhelmed by the care and love they gave me. I'm from NYC so I have very high standards for medical care, and this was a fantastic experience. I highly recommend Bon Secours if you are in the unfortunate situation of needing medical care.

The Recovery Team New Jersey has helped me in my recovery in multiple ways. The structure of the program has kept me on point which is extremely important in early recovery. New Orefield facility is far, but there is a bus 5 out of 6 days and Sunday is closed so they supply a take home on Saturday as long as you have a lockbox.
The new facility is a HUGE step up! It's very clean, big and beautiful! All new staff seem amazing and the few older staff who stuck around were always amazing. This is the place you want to be if you're ready to get your life back. Don't forget 1 second think it's going to be easy though...

Recap was a place that has helped me while I was in recovery... every year they give out turkey basket they have a good food pantry... They have a men's half way house, subsidized housing for men and women, and an outpatient... If u need help while you are in recovery I definitely recommend

I love my therapist. He’s approachable and fair. The psychiatry is a bit different as it’s done by zoom but I have never felt mistreated or ignored. This is a facility that works with all insurances and all in all I personally feel they do a GREAT job

The reason I am giving as many stars as I am is because the office staff is amazing, the therapists (chelsea and virginia are AMAZING) know what they're doing and they're great with my kiddos. The old NP, Barb, was also GREAT with my daughter and was in the process of finding her the correct medicine that will work for her before we, without notice, were pulled from her schedule and put with someone else that goes by the name of Dr. Beth, or Elizabeth Finley. She was outrageously rude to my 13 year old, who has been suffering with mental health issues, and the last thing she needed was the advice of this 'dr', or lack thereof. Go to the therapists, you wont be disappointed. But stay far, far away from the new Dr. they have working there. She's terrible. Go literally anywhere else for medication.

choices was my first rehab clean good staff and program unfortunately didnt work for me the first time i then got pregnant went to another rehab and had to go on methadone i chose the choices clinic b.c im from hazleton and that was the nearest the drive sucks but after birth and 6 months i was able to receive take homes so only have to go 4 days instead of 7 the staff is awesome i love my counselor Ben and the meetings are also very nice ! methadone has helped me stay sober for a year now and i love it. the Dr is awesome & will work with your dose to get you stable if you have to pay out of pocket they are very good with working with you and also helping you find help i.e. medical assistance like im on thank god that now covers the cost for me ! i would deff recommend it to anyone obv you get drug tests no alcohol and very strict about not selling/ misusing methadone so dont ruin if you get accepted ! i also liked the rehab staff was nice and food was great ! rooms were also very nice

The kids and I have been going to this practice for well over 25 years way before Sharon was even a receptionist and location was whites crossing and Dr Salko was alive and Now we see Dr Luma this man has got excellent bed side manners he listens and sits and explains things in a way of understanding the now and what it could be years from now I absolutely love the fact that no matter the diagnosis he knows what he’s talking about and don’t send us of to another doctor this office is very understanding when five or so minutes late, they also get you in really quick when you don’t have an appointment and need to be seen really he’s the only doctor. I know that he has millions of patients and barely has time to fit anybody new in believe me I tried. So to all the negative comments he must be doing something right
