The therapist run all the groups and they are geared towards coping skills, changing your mindset from negative thoughts positive thoughts, for both mental health and substance abuse. Mental health Groups are separate from substance here, Which is amazing. The therapist that conduct the groups are phenomenal and You actually want to show up a group and pay attention because they keep your attention and are Some of the best at what they do. If you’re thinking of going anywhere else besides here. Please, From someone who’s been to a few impatient places, please think again. I would personally like to Thank every single BHT, Nurse, Therapist and All of the staff, For helping me more than any place has On my journey to healing from all the trauma that I’ve been through. I wish I could rate this place 10 stars 100 actually. I’m textbook ADHD and I was able to pay attention to every single group they make them fun, Informative, They give you a coping skills and several other skills that you can utilize during you’re Mental health journey and/or to be able to begin your healing journey. They are great at creating a treatment plan to meet every individual person, and the medication certainly makes it easy to quit drinking. My facilitator, Lisa Stalnaker, is the absolute best. She is so caring and attentive to each and every patient, and really makes the meetings enjoyable, fun, and engaging. I can't say enough great things about her. I highly recommend Kolmac to anyone struggling with addiction. Jon Hershfield and the OCD team provided me with exceptionally skilled treatment so I could return home to a significantly higher-quality, more productive, and happier life. I worked specifically with Jon, Molly, and Rebecca (the entire team is fantastic), and they are without a doubt the most knowledgeable, compassionate, intentional, and collaborative clinicians with whom I have ever worked over the course of my 30+ year journey with OCD. They educated me on my conditions and empowered me to build the skills and tools necessary to live with and effectively manage these chronic illnesses. They worked closely with my psychiatrist and social worker on my care team at the Retreat to create a holistic approach to recovery. They also ensured that I was discharged with a comprehensive plan to execute with my psychologist at home. I highly recommend them and am eternally grateful for their life-changing care. I'd been to other facilities and had to wait in line for up to an hour or more for meds that were dolled out without any consideration for the patient. I also had psychiatrist's who would schedule virtually once a week. This was NOT the case at The Retreat. The staff there were awesome! Absolutely ALL of the staff there, especially the doctors and nursing staff, were extremely attentive and knowledgeable. It HONESTLY felt like they cared. I literally cannot say enough great things about the OCD team, led by Jon Hershfield. They were tremendous! I met with Jon or one of his staff nearly every day I was there. Absolute pros!
