This place not only saved my life but also several friends and family of mine. The staff is so kind, caring and helpful-from the young lady at the front desk (who goes above and beyond what they expect of her), to the nurses, the counselors, the doctor and the women who run the place. I can't say enough good things about all of the staff. If you need help and are serious about your sobriety-this is the place to go!!!!

Silvermist changed my life not only for the better, but has truly given me the opportunity to heal from past traumas. I am beyond exceptionally impressed by the care of the staff and the fostered sense of comradery the community had to offer me. From working with the staff, I was able to heal from a generational hurt that other treatment centers failed to provide me the tools and foundation that Silvermist has to offer. On the other hand, the comradery instilled was healing as well in the sense of that even though it may not be the same struggle that we all deal with, the community gave me a sense of brotherhood. It showed me that I am not alone in my struggles and that I could get through this storm and that it will pass. I am proud to have completed this program and have the newly founded connections that Silvermist gave me the opportunity to seek.

Silvermist has changed my life. I am a 2 time graduate now. The first time around I didn’t take it that serious but the 2nd time in working with my therapist and really paying attention in groups I can confidently say I am ready for the path life has ahead of me taking it on clean and sober. My first time I was here for mental health and my 2nd for alcohol abuse. I have a dual diagnosis and this is one of the only treatment facility’s for that. This facility is the best around though, the staff care very much and the brotherhood around you is 2nd to none. Huge shoutout to My therapist Billy for helping me get my life together. Also Miss Heather for eveything she did for me. Big Shout out aswell to Andre, Scott, Mrs. Amanda The case manager not the tech, Ryan, Miss Burn Burn, Rey, and Randy. And most of all a huggggge Shoutout to Laura, and Michelle for keeping me feed with amazing food! - Max

Been going here 15+ years. Well actually in cranberry 1st, then here at NC. In all that time, I've come to realize this: they don't need us. We need them. They have ALL the leverage, we have none. That being said, I would suggest getting down on your knees and thanking God that you have the option here in NC of Discovery House. Would u rather go back to criming, sick every other day.. Ugh. Not me. If u follow the rules, such as showing up during dosing hours, etc u will have no issues.

Sojourner House offers a unique healing expe for women in addition in that it United and often reunified women in recovery with their child or children and their families. There aren't many organizations that permit women to live with their children in their own apartments while participating in individual, group, and family therapy. There are three levels of care offered for women and children in need to regain lost independence in secure environments. Hopefully more similar-based programs will be established both at the state and national level so that women do not need to be separated from their children while recovering, as is often the case. Allowing a family to recovery together is a unique and needed experience as.addixiron continues to plague our nation. The first time I went here I thought I hated it and it was horrible, then I went to southwood and was begging to go back here. I went to western psych inpatient 2 times as well as outpatient 2 times and I can say I had a very pleasant experience all 4 times. Every psych ward has its issues like how they lost my favorite hoodie, but In the end most of the staff genuinely cared. They took us to meetings, made sure we could call people as much as they were allowed, treated us like equals, and just wanted what was best for us. There was always a staff or 2 that no one liked bc they were miserable, like Miss Sarah which I don’t know if she still works there or not. Whenever the mean ones weren’t around though they let us have as much fun as possible without breaking the rules. The one night we were bored and wanted to play dodge ball, so the staff flipped the tables and made teams! Not everyone has a great experience and you should still listen to your kid if they are begging you to take them out but I personally grew a lot bc of this place.

My husband is there and I never leave reviews but this place or let me say the people that work at that place are so awesome I can’t express just how great they really are. I’m four hours from there and had to bring some personal items for my husband but I have to work during the day ,they’re cut off time for drop off is 4 or 6PM, I didn’t get there till after 9 o’clock and they were so understanding and nice about it. And my husband isn’t the friendliest and doesn’t really care for people but he’s in such a good space it sounds and he’s actually getting something from being there. He says the people are great there. I’ve had to call there for a few times. I missed 3 phone calls so I had to make sure he was OK The person on the other end of the phone actually called him up to there and let me speak to him to let me know he was OK and to let him know I was OK that I didn’t answer and little things like that really mean A lot. If you’re seeking treatment, you’re a male I would check this place out 110%.

I was there for 45 days was admitted on October 14 2024 and this place will always be the place that changed my life. Most of the employees were wonderful the clients all worked together to help each other out no one went with out if someone needed something between the staff and clients we got shit done. I had never laughed so hard for so long! It’s a truly amazing place as long as you do what you’re supposed to..it is what you make of it. It can only change you if you want it to change you but obviously they can’t force you. In order for any rehab to work you have to want it. Although most clients were court ordered there a lot of us took it seriously and I hope you do too. Thanks to all the staff at ridgeveiw IP! Techs- Sabrina, Tyler, Chelsea and TODD Counselor Lisa who knew I was very uncomfortable with 1 on 1s but managed to get me through it and managed to have a lot of great life changing conversations in her very small windowless room. This place is honestly an amazing place just follow the rules, show up on time and learn something. It can’t hurt even if you don’t want to be there. This shit can save your life. Good luck! This location is so pleasant! I’ve been a patient here for years and have never had any problems with my appointments. You will become close with the staff here too, they’re wonderful! They offer lots of resources for anything that may be going on in your personal life! There’s also a pharmacy right around the corner to fill your Rx. I had two hip replacements done in one year and they accommodated my appts with no problems by zoom. I read some of the other reviews and all I can say is it’s not like that anymore. Every 1star review was left for ARS not Crossroads! It’s not packed with people and ur not waiting hours to be seen. The doctors spend time talking with you and they’ll follow up with anything you discuss at your next appt. I go during the week (midday) and I’m always in/out within 45 minutes.

The people here have saved my life. They actually care and want you to get better. I have to talk about Erin the nurse though. She has been such a great influence on my life. She has always been there to help and encourage me to succeed but never ever have I felt judged by her for my previous mistakes. I’ve seen some people get mad and say horrible things about her because they lost their privileges, only to later come and tell her thank you for holding them accountable and helping them to really get back on track. When you’re an addict you place blame on others so much because it’s the only way you can live with yourself, but then you come to realize that it’s us who did wrong, they realized Erin didn’t take their privileges they took them from themselves, and the same people have come around and told me she saved their lives as well. She is an incredible nurse. She cares so much and sets an excellent example. I hope that Foundations realize just how blessed they are to have someone like her. She’s a treasure and a beautiful soul. One reason I’ve been clean for so long is I couldn’t stand to let her down. When I say she’s saved my life I mean it. Cherish her. Always!

I cannot say enough good about foundations and their staff. The nurses Erin and Edie are God sends. These people have helped save my life and I have many years clean and sober because of their help. People have preconceived notions and judgments about medication assisted recovery but you don’t know how it really is. These people care. They don’t want you stuck there. They saved my life over and over and I will forever be grateful. I’m going on 19 years clean because of their help and services. If you or a loved one needs help, there’s no better help out there than foundations. ADDED…. I was reading the other reviews and I’d love to address the one who says the nurses are horrible human beings. ABSOLUTELY NOT. When you don’t follow the rules that are out there for your safety you lose privileges. The nurses are not being mean by having to tell you that you failed a drug test or you didn’t show up to group so you can’t have the same privileges as those who do what’s right.. YOU DID THAT TO YOURSELF. And then he stated someone should burn it down!? If anyone did something so heinous because they can’t comply.. you’d be totally destroying so many peoples future. Not only would you take innocent peoples jobs but you’d crush single moms in recovery and other people trying to make it! How incredibly horrible! If anyone out there wants to get their lives back these people will bend over backwards to help you. Please don’t be turned off by a rant from someone who destroyed his own experience by not doing what’s right. Part of recovery is taking responsibility for your mistakes. No one can ruin your recovery but you. Foundations is amazing and they care. Especially the AMAZING NURSES! I want to add about my counselor Sydney. I have never in my life felt more advocated for. She is absolutely amazing. The people here truly care and want to see people get better. The only people who have problems are the ones who are completely out of line and disrespectful. They’re mad because they don’t get privileges but they forget they are the ones who ruin it for themselves. The nurses didn’t make you give a positive urinalysis. You did that. I have maintained my privileges for over a decade by simply allowing myself to live a normal life. And I wouldn’t have this chance if it wasn’t for the help of these great people. Thank you foundation’s staff for helping to save my life. My son who I got clean for in the first place is now on his way to becoming a state trooper. If you listen to them and do what you’re supposed to do. You will have your life back!
