Glad to say I am 26 days clean from alcohol and this place helped amazingly with that. The night nurse Matt is amazing with what he does and how he coaches / teaches you while you’re there, Very informative and through guy.
Also love Sam and Amanda very much! how chill of a person they are and interacting with patients so nicely, treated equally and always makes sure you’re good or don’t need anything extra. Thank you guys for a better road to success.

I started going to PCTC around 12/2020 I believe.. I have found the staff to be very kind , caring , and helpful . I had Jackie as a counselor when I started and she was promoted and went to Anderson location and I ended up with a new counselor Chelsea and have been lucky enough to have her ever since ! They have helped me with transportation when I've had issues getting there as I am disabled and don't drive , I have had some very hard things happen in my life and I grew to trust Chelsea and have been able to talk to her and she has helped me lot just by listening and truly ended up failing a DT and knew I hadn't done anything and have had a flawless record and had just taken an observed 2 days before(clean as can be other than methadone )an being given the DT that I took on my own that came up as failed and I was so shocked and cried because I knew I hadn't done anything and it was just very helpful that she helped me through that and she helped me figure out what happened.. I figured she wouldn't believe me because I am sure so many have said the same , but she didn't and she cared enough to help me figure it out. All of staff there are just such genuine caring people and seem to be doing it because they truly care to help ppl recover and not just doing it for a paycheck . They have connected with so many that I see and the kids that have to come with their parents they connect and get to know the ppl and don't make you feel less than for having to go through the process of recovery. I recommend them to anyone who is serious about bettering and extending their life by leaving addiction behind .

Our 22 year old son was ‘failing to launch’ - gaming, marijuana use and generalized anxiety were issues that prevented him from moving into a healthy and successful adult life. The three months that he spent at Momentum provided just the right mixture of support, insight and challenge to help him channel his energies in a positive direction. His therapist, Joe, was compassionate and effective, and helped motivate our son to reach for more than he thought possible. He left Momentum with a very positive attitude about himself and his possibilities. He has just started a ‘transition’ program where he is utilizing the lessons learned at Momentum to carve out his new life. Momentum is a very fine program with a dedicated, caring and skilled staff - we can highly recommend it!

I was very impressed with the quality of care that my son received at Trails Momentum. He was there from May 2023-September 2023. He arrived in a very sad and lost frame of mind. My four days at Ridgeview was very traumatic, a severe panic attack helped land me in this institute for a minimum of 72 hours. Upon arrival I was ushered into a "waiting room" for the new patients to be processed, I arrived at 8 pm and was finally brought to the adult ward around 5 am the next morning. Having waited in a room stuck on the weather channel for 9 hours (the nurses had no idea where the remote was) I was ready to sleep, it then took the nurse tech an hour and a half to get me on their books. Around 6:40 am I was shown my room and told wake up is at 7, no exception. During wake up you are treated like children, lights come on and the nurses yell at you aggressively get up. The adult ward had around 27 patients during my stay, we all had to stay in the "day room" with barely enough furniture for everyone to sit down. During our groups we were asked mundane questions about triggers, feelings, and goals.
I witnessed many faults in this system and 1000 characters isn't enough

Ridgeview Smyrna changed my life. I'd had low-grade depression for years that had been successfully managed with medication, but when I started a new job that triggered all kinds of past trauma, my depression went from "slight rainstorm" to "F5 tornado" very quickly, along with anxiety/panic attacks.
I went into Ridgeview to get assessed. The wait time did take a while; I have seen that complaint on various review boards and it's valid. However, my understanding from the staff is that they are actively working to make the waiting times less and to make the waiting experience better.
They recommended the day program, 4 wks of partial hosp (PHP) and 2 weeks of intensive outpatient (IOP). For PHP, I was there from 9:00 am - 3:30 pm ; for IOP 9:00 am - 12 noon. In the evenings, I lived at home b/c I was not in the inpatient detox/cottages.
They taught great coping skills for life. I loved Rview & am now part of the alumni. It changed my life & it can change yours.

Ridgeview is one the nicest and cleanest hospitals I have been to! Their staff are friendly and welcoming and all attentive to patient needs. In my experience, Ridgeview will be/should be a preferred location for all patients needing care and looking for a great resource.

This program does work, as much as you want to make it work. I’m going to 100% honest as well, this program is not a walk in the park. What this place, or Jesus in this place, has done with me is kept me sober since October 17th 2021 and grown me up spiritually and maturely as well. If I could put 0 stars I would but first of all when they had me in the office starting off with financial she looked over to the therapist saying “she’s gonna be paying 5% “ and the therapist said oh awesome” good job” and they were gonna charge me and my husband almost $150 just to be seen by a therapist today for that money we could go to a real good licensed professional therapist do not recommend I’m sure they pocketing that commission money for their big back food 😅

My 10 yrs Nephew is down there and had been there 6 or 8 month's and he said they are very good to him and he was getting the help he needed and he says that the psychiatrist was very good to him and becouse of her he was getting better and he said he thinks the world of her because she was good to him and she help him a lot I. Know one thing what we have saw from the place. They are absolutely amazing and I would recommend it to anyone it a little bit of a drive for us but even those it 4 hour drive one way I would go every day if it was allowed.but he said he was going to miss them when he get to go home but he said he could send them a card sorry some of you have had a bad experience But Thank God for the Excalibur Youth Service.

I struggled with addiction for 20+ years. Thanks to southwest Carolina treatment center I’ve been clean for 4 years. Everyone at the clinic is nice. Sterling is down to earth and easy to talk to. He cares about the people he works with. He genuinely wants to know how you are doing. Everyone at the clinic is very helpful ,hopeful, and I get to feeling that they genuinely care about helping curve addiction in our community. 10/26/25 still using this same clinic, sterling is no longer there . Vick is my counselor now and he's awesome. He doesn't rush and takes the time to talk with me for as long as I need . This place saved my life literally. My treatment plan through SWCTC saved my life. I'd never heard of methadone and a friend told me about it. I was in denial and had spent so much money and time finding drugs. My whole existence depended on getting my pills. I wanted to stop and prayed for a way. I've been clean for 22 years now. I just got home from a month treatment at this fabulous place! I cried, I didn’t want to leave! When I was completely hopeless and couldn't stop even when I wanted to, I didn't have anywhere to turn. My family didn't know how to help make the pain stop either but the staff at Athens Area Commencement Center did and they did so with love, compassion, and complete understanding. Have had nothing but solid care from this clinic. I don't even live in the States but go back once a year. I make the appointment months in advance online. They send reminders. Staff and Doctors are perfectly fine. If I need to change the date/time for some reason (I usually do), there is never an issue. It's a solid clinic for sure. See ya' in two weeks!

My first visit to the Rock Hill Clinic this afternoon! Very positive experience. Check-in was easy and polite. NP (Doc) Doran was excellent, very interested and aggressive (in a positive way) in obtaining my L-O-N-G medical history. Her technical asst. Erica was great as well. I feel like I was in the company of two Professional ALL-STARS!!!!

Noticed all the bad reviews have 2 or 3 things in common
1- Felt there should've been (more) reminders to not miss the app.
2- Didn't like their tone.
3- Were tthere 1 or more years ago.
Maybe they took these criticisms to heart last year, which is a little before I started visiting, since I get an almost annoying amount of reminders (phone, email, etc) and everyone treats me like family.
But I'd like to address these complaints in order:
1- Aren't you a veteran? Have you no shame? When I'm told I'm due anywhere, by anyone, I just need the time/place/uniform from them (uniform= the "why" in the civi world). Sound familiar?
I like that they "over-do" it with the reminders now, because missed apps are costly and disruptive, you're inability to manage your schedule and meet your own commitments means less available app slots for me and the rest of us who respected our battle buddies enough to not make them drag us out of the barracks to formation late. You got the last existing phone without a calendar/reminder function?🤨 Grow up, take responsibility, you're embarrassing us.

2- People should be nice to each other, but that also means compassion. If you need your health providers to kiss your butt and say my pleasure to every thank you they hear, you're also not being very compassionate.
Don't be rude, sure, but as a former healthcare worker experienced in managing Karens, I can tell you the job is hard and underpaid enough to not have any time for extra "retail courtesy", that obviously fake level of servant-like submission to your "masters" (ie customers) some people seem to require as part of their expectation to be "wowed".
If their attitude is what cost you (eg they wouldn't talk to you) then yeah, you should speak up, but one review whined that they didn't ask the right questions🤯 Seriously!?
OK, so they don't get the CS award, but it's YOUR health! You got something you know you want to tell them, how bout you soldier up and say it then?
They're not your boyfriend, and btw, he couldn't read your mind either, so be a (polite) grown up when you remind them they canceled your previous app and it's causing you hardship.
They are caring human beings that can (in my experience) be reasoned with, not scrub adorned androids built to massage your delicate ego😉
3- My recent experiences defies older reviews, so I'll give those critical reviews the benefit of doubt and say sorry that happened last year, but my experience these days is different.
Sure they can improve, honestly I'd have given them 4stars were it not for the unfair skewing of the average rating that uses old and questionable reviews, but they clearly care, and that's more than I've gotten from lots of fancy looking and expensive private facilities.
