My higher power saw fit that I find this place and start my recovery there and I’m so glad I did. The counselor’s and techs are extremely genuine and great people to know. The place itself has it’s own special character and is the perfect time out to reset and get started back on a healthy path. The setting is accommodating and memorable. I’ve been to treatment multiple times and many different locations this place is by far the best place I’ve been to. Small all male facility with less patients which allows for more attention on the therapeutic level. The scenery and setting here is beautiful. The staff here including counselors, nursing, education, techs, and activity therapy all really care and give their all! This place is amazing and the people here set me up to be successful.Highly recommend giving this place a chance to anyone that is struggling with addiction!

I attended the Intensive outpatient program there. It surpasses other similar programs I have tried in the past. The team there really cares for the patients and makes sure they help you get to class. Very responsive with any problems you may face even after hours. Great program and great team they have to support the needs of the clients. I highly recommend this if your in the need of similar services.

As with anything in life you ONLY get what YOU put into something, including mental health. I WAS skeptical about embarking on this with Beacon only because my inpatient stay many years ago with them was forced. Everyone that I have encountered in my 3 day a week day program has changed my perspective. From Mrs. Lisa, Alyssa all the way through Ms. Jessie and Patricia. I'm enjoying my days a lot more.

I just found out yesterday the he retired and it truly breaks my heart to see this wonderful man go. So far I love how my experience with Ms. Keishandra Houston is and overall with PTI. My appointments aren’t booked months and Ms. Houston is veryyyy knowledgeable AND very personable. The phone staff here is immaculate too, my first impression with them is when I decided that this is where I was gonna go for healthcare. In the beginning, I called after every little thing and typically got the same person and she didn’t show a bit of annoyance, I think it was Kate. I hope the staffing here doesn’t change anytime soon because it’s hard to come by receptionists with this work ethic and a psychiatric NP who cares and knows a lot. I’m a student in the medical field myself so I appreciate the broken down inner workings of the brain that Ms. Houston gives. It’s the icing on the cake for me and shows that she’s competent and not just in the field for a paycheck. I’m super pleased with the care I’ve received here all the way around, so I just wanted to leave this review to give y’all y’all’s props. ☺️

This is a true review about Ocean behavioral health on Howell Boulevard in Baton Rouge. My significant other Went to Umc New Orleans, at least four times this year, each time being discharged without being better. This last time, Umc did not accept the Behavior health section at Umc center two hours away to Ocean Baton Rouge. At the time this was troubling to me, but, turned out to be a good thing because Umc was very difficult to deal with as a caregiver. Ocean Baton Rouge is like night and day compared to Umc, Ocean was cleaner and better maintained then Umc, and the staff could not be any nicer or more professional. the staff at Oceans always answer the phone always answers your questions, and they are always nice and polite and professional .I would recommend to anyone in need of help with behavioral health to consider Ocean Baton Rouge, Two hours one way is a long trip to make, but I would gladly make it instead of the 20 minute one way to Umc. I would absolutely bring my loved one to Ocean and the future. Should she ever need Behavior health help again.
