I truly believe Back 2 Basics saved my son’s life. But I also believe the key is that they have to want it—the desire for change has to come from within. Once our son said he was ready, we didn’t hesitate. Within 24 hours, we flew cross-country to Back 2 Basics, inspired by another young man we knew who had found great success through the program.
From the moment we arrived, the staff and counseling team were exceptional. Bethanie, in particular, was phenomenal. She didn’t just understand our son—she understood our entire family dynamic. Her approach is uniquely effective; she guides these young men in a way that empowers them to reach their own conclusions and make their own choices.
One of the most impactful aspects of the program was the weekend hiking and camping trips. These adventures helped redirect that adrenaline rush in a healthy, constructive way. It was more than just therapy—it was a reset.

I've bin with southwest for about 10 years,specifically this location in their MAT program, the change this place has made this last year is major! The new DR. Sean is a major change from the previous DR that was there. Sean understands not everything is black and white and actually listens to you when you tell him like hey this isn't working can we try something else's, on top of actually listening to your concerns about medication he actually cares about your recovery as much as you do, I have not had one DR. Actually try to help when I said I want to be done with MAT meds, the last DR'S would basically set you up for failure so you will have to come back and be stuck. Sean will actually help you and not abandon you through the process of getting off MAT meds.He has helped this place become more hopeful for me. You can tell he cares.... and thats the part that this clinic was missing. Southwest please hold on to this DR close. He is litterly what makes the MAT program a true recovery program.

After finally getting in and jumping through a few obstacles, I need to completely change my review. Situations happen, and I cannot expect everyone to know everything all the time.
That being said, this place has definitely improved in the eight years since the last time I was in the program. After meeting with the provider and the staff, while keeping in mind that I am a very unique situation, they have all worked extremely hard and been very diligent in helping me get back on their program and established with several things that I desperately need🙏🏼

TCRHCC was my clinic/ hospital since childhood. Early 2018, was referred transfer to Kayenta Clinic: since then been medically treated well: dental, ENT, and several ER visits. Received my Provider, she's great: referrals to other medical updates - she got departments calling me fir schedules that I needed done. Now waiting for appointment dates to arrive and getting them done.
At TCRHCC, was fine with the facility until a short time before being transferred - my doctor informed me by stating, "I have over 200 patients a week, so I only have 7 minutes to see to a you, and you look fine to me." And he left the exam room. I had a bad infected ear. Yes, he did come in and he didn't even do an exam on my ear, no medication, very unprofessional and very rude Oriental Doctor. I went to the an office to request a transfer to another clinic or hospital that same day. I now am satisfied with my medical services. I thank God for the right medical doctors and their facilities . Keeping them in prayers.

So I have Mixed Ratings** 5/5 I do want to give a shout out to the ER staff and team at this location.They are a team player and I really liked how quickly they were able to initiate an emergency when they saw one when we came in. Our situation was dire and to see the response of how everybody came together so quickly it was so powerful ,Thank you .Thank you so much. We have a continuous glucose monitoring systems for diabetes management, unfortunately it was reading false accurate report and That's what prompt us to come into the ER this morning to get my grandfather double checked on his blood sugar levels.
So let's get into the negative ..
1/5 stars , We are definitely not from the area. We are out of towners but I guess we get confused from looking like locals? I was following Google maps, on how to get here with the directions. We got an accurate reading on how to get here but we're getting close to the building I follow the emergency signs with the arrows pointing where to go, located on the sidewalk where the emergency sign that show Us where to go which is the wrong points on entrance. I hope this gets corrected, because security was on my ass for my parking which was up near the front , entering the wrong way, Parked in the handicap sign with the handicap sticker up and security definitely told me I couldn't park there but Yes understandable our situation was an emergency. My grandfather uses a cane, plus he's hard of hearing so I was there speaking for him and also communicating via dry erase board. To the ER staff of the situation. I did tell security that I promise to move to vehicle once I get my grandfather situated but once I've probably been there for " 10 minutes " she came and look for me to go tell me to move my vehicle. But please give some training to security on letting them know more about Hypoglycemia, or low blood sugar, and the dangerous condition that needs to be taken seriously, especially for those with diabetes. Glucose is the brain's main source of energy, and when blood sugar drops too low, it can lead to various physical and mental impairments. I felt like with better understanding and compassion This place can go a long way towards 5 stars

My wife and I had a terrible experience trying to get a simple prescription filled. We will not be returning. She never received her prescription. The God it was just for pain. Either the doctor or their prescription system needs to be replaced. Or both.
Update:
Ten days after my wife needed to go to the ER for her four broken ribs, I went to the ER with a huge infection in my head, face, and neck and the staff was amazing. I can't stress how well we were treated by all the staff we encountered.

I wish I could rate this place more than 5 stars! Not only do they do their job right but they are really professional here! I've only had a bad experience on my first visit with a therapist but they fixed that right away for me and changed my therapist which I'm glad they did. I am not that type to open up about my feelings but Chrissy was really helpful and made me feel comfortable right away, it made it seem like if I've known her for years so I definitely recommend her. When I was going through my hard times they were always their for me to talk to someone which was really helpful!

Been there done that but ill keep coming back. Only if you are truly honest with yourself and ready for a change and mean it =") i was not ready.. My choices bad decisions yet' Hey, I am learning from y mistakes I did to myself, is it making me better than anyone else hell no lol =P However, it is making a better person. ill keep coming back one day ill get it right, its never too late and its when your ready for it. Every who made it past their first year. Gave birth mid august my care team was great! The entire OB ward did a fabulous job after a lengthy labor. Super attentive. Very respectful. Though this hospital could be updated, the rooms were clean! Thank-you to the staff for taking care of me and my first baby! It was tough but this staff made us as comfortable as possible during our 4 day stay.

My son and his 3 friends got in terrible accident with a semi truck on the way home from North rim yesterday. The staff at Tuba City could not have been nicer. The boys had serious and various injuries, one sent by ambulance to Flagstaff. But all 3 were treated expertly and kindly. And with God's grace they will all recover. Thank you Tuba City for helping us on an extremely difficult day. God bless you all
