Hi. I just want to say this is a great facility for detoxing and peer support. But, when I came here I was not able to receive the medication I needed when I found the one that worked. I told my doctor that the adavan the nurses were giving me worked and that I was calm and aware of my surroundings. He said to take lithium and I said No because I have been on so many drugs in the past and they did not work, that because I knew the adavan worked to give me that. I started arguing with him and then I left without any medication except for the one pill that actually worked the first night I got there. So now it's been 5 months and I still have the same underlying problems; paranoia, anxiety, negative energy, hate, anger, and pessimism. I just want the nurses and health aides to know they are very good people and do a good job and the psychiatrist is a big fat nimrod with a paper shredder degree. Thank you.

I'm not sure who you spoke to however Highland Rivers Health does accept private pay. They have a sliding scale fee system. They no longer accept commercial insurance. Monday and Wednesday are Open Access days starting at 8 am.. Intakes are done on a first come first serve basis except for individuals who are hospital release or crisis appointments. You need a GA ID, SSA card, of and proof of income. They'll give you time to get proof of income and SSA card. That staff works really hard to provide the best care possible to all the individuals they serve. Edit: currently accepting most commercial insurance products.

A Great Experience at Focus Treatment Center I came to Focus Treatment Center in Chattanooga thinking I would only stay for two weeks, but the team recommended 28 days. Looking back, I’m very grateful I listened to their recommendation. I clearly wouldn’t have been there in the first place if I had already known exactly what I was doing, and giving myself the full time to focus on recovery made a real difference. What stood out most to me was how personalized the treatment was. The staff took the time to understand me as an individual rather than treating everyone the same. They also did a great job involving my family, helping us communicate better and work through issues that had been affecting all of us. The program goes beyond simply addressing substance abuse—it gives you an opportunity to understand yourself, your behaviors, your relationships, and what needs to change for long-term recovery. Another thing I really appreciated was the specialized aftercare they provided. They took the time to understand my unique situation and helped develop an aftercare plan tailored specifically to my needs. Knowing that I had continued support and a plan in place after leaving gave me a lot more confidence about maintaining the progress I had made. The overall environment was also excellent. The rooms, food, amenities, and extracurricular activities made the experience comfortable and gave me opportunities to relax and connect with others while still staying focused on healing. The staff were supportive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping people succeed. I also found the classes to be very informative. They were based on current research as well as the center’s experience working with people in recovery, and I walked away with practical information and a better understanding of myself and my recovery. For me, Focus provided a much-needed break from everyday life—a chance to disconnect from outside distractions and really focus on healing and personal growth. The value went well beyond simply addressing substance abuse. It was about learning how to live differently, understanding myself better, and building a better foundation for the future. All in all, it was a great experience, and I highly recommend Focus Treatment Center to anyone who is ready to make a change and willing to put in the work.

This is a great treatment facility, everyone is amazing at what they do. From the counselors making me feel comfortable enough to open up about past trauma. The nursing staff going above and beyond to make sure everyone has the medicine and care they need. All the way to the techs who on top of their regular duties are like counselors in their own right. The financial department was very accommodating as well. And I'd like to give a big shout out to Elizabeth for going beast mode with my short term disability claim. You all are amazing and I'm so grateful for each and every one of you at Focus.

Being at Alana was a great experience for me. I had a chance to learn a lot of things about recovery and the mental aspect of what drugs and alcohol does to the body as a hole. I cannot say enough good things about Blue Ridge. First off, the facility is absolutely beautiful. The grounds outside are so lovely and serene; there are nature trails, Mountain View‘s, a babbling brook, And even a small lake. The interior has beautiful furniture, hardwood floors, and just an overall homey mountain Lodge environment. The men and women sleep in different buildings so there’s no need for concern about privacy in that way. I was relieved to find that out.. There’s a tennis court in basketball court, Along with multiple other activities to do outside. Some of the people there, including myself, even got to plant flowers in the outdoor planters. The staff there are really amazing. The nurses are knowledgeable and kind. They especially took very good care of me during my detox and continued to follow me through my residential treatment even though I didn’t have a lot of medical need.. Someone from nursing would always check on me and just see how I was doing in general. The groups are really well run And interesting. They keep us busy, which is good. When you’re going through recovery, you don’t need a lot of downtime.. The counselors and therapist were super talented and considerate. The techs!! I can’t say enough about the techs!! They kept all of us straight, All of us laughing, They are the peacemakers, stray Cat wranglers, And just about everything else you can think of!! They pull me off the lads a couple of times! The food was really good as well! I would send anyone in my family to Blue Ridge and I definitely recommend to anyone else seeking detox, Residential treatment for Recovery, Outpatient treatment, And whatever else they have to offer. ♥️♥️♥️

Embark is genuinely the best place to get treatment. I looked so different leaving the program than when I came in. Ja’Monica, Susan, Myron, Loren, Jimmy, Terri, David, Maddie, Mona, Vessena, De’Ja, Sade, and Dr. Hooper yall are genuinely so precious to me and yall will always have a place in my heart. Ja’Monica was my personal therapist and I learned so much from her and her EMDR amongst all her other methods of therapy. I have nothing but good things to say about them. They’re also really good with security on a real note, they always make sure we as the clients are protected in every way shape or form. Susan will push you past your limits in the best way possible. From the very first phone call to the day Mason was discharged, our experience with Embark in Benton, TN exceeded every expectation we had. As a parent, placing your child in residential treatment is one of the hardest decisions you’ll ever make. The entire staff at Embark made that process so much easier by treating both Mason and our family with kindness, compassion, and respect every step of the way. I probably sent far more texts and emails than most parents, constantly checking in and asking questions, yet not a single person ever made me feel like I was being a burden. Every message was answered promptly, every concern was taken seriously, and I always felt heard. What stood out most was how genuinely invested everyone was in Mason. From the treatment team and residential staff to the front desk, every single person took the time to truly know him. He wasn’t just another resident, he was Mason. They learned his personality, celebrated his successes, encouraged him through his struggles, and built relationships that made him feel safe, supported, and valued. Communication throughout his stay was exceptional. The team consistently kept us informed, responded quickly, held appointments as scheduled, and welcomed us during family visits. We always knew they wanted what was best for Mason, and that gave us tremendous peace of mind. Mason spent 64 days at Embark, and the growth we saw in that short time was nothing short of remarkable. He came home more patient, more present, more thoughtful, and with skills that will continue to help him long after treatment. We know his journey isn’t over, but Embark gave him a foundation that we truly believe changed the course of his life. There simply aren’t enough words to express our gratitude to every single person who played a role in Mason’s care. Thank you for treating our son like your own, for believing in him, and for walking alongside our family during one of the most difficult seasons of our lives. We will always be grateful.

I was terrified about the decision for my son to attend Embark in Benton. But I knew on the first day that he would be safe and valued, just based on how patient they were with him through the onboarding process. Throughout his time there, they saw his good through his pain and anger. They worked with him and me to teach us new ways. The place itself was beautiful and my son spent so much time in his happy place of nature. When things were very hard for him, they communicated with me and never gave up. The residential staff are God-sent people. I loved that turnover was so low, that I really knew all the staff by the end of the process. They were familiar and comforting during family visits. ALL the staff - care coordinator, Jaime, Chris, Jake, the nurses, the therapist team, Nathan, residential coaches - were consistently compassionate, communicative, and provided quality, individualized treatment for my family.

Let me start with the food… only because I was a former chef. The food is prepared fresh EVERY meal by actual trained Chefs. Not only do they serve amazing food, they genuinely care about the clients. This plays a HUGE part with clients getting the nutrients they need to heal and grow. I enjoyed every meal and conversation with them. The staff to client ratio here is the best I have experienced at this level of care. All of the staff from the techs, nurses, counselors, clinical directors, providers, and admissions do their job well. They ACTUALLY care about the clients and get to know them personally. My Counselor was absolutely amazing. He helped me out more than he could know. I also had my moments with stress and frustration. It was handled with understanding and empathy, rather than judgement or punishment. Thank you brother, I am very grateful we met. My medication provider got to know me on a personal level and they listened to my situation and needs. THEY ABSOLUTELY DO NOT OVERPRESCRIBE or make you suffer with a poor taper. It was a breath of fresh air after previous experiences. My medication that was prescribed helped me stabilize and improve my mood and experience. I plan on staying on the prescribed medication and continuing my psychiatric care. Aldo the techs do an amazing job. They are on the front lines night and day with new admission patients. They actually get to know the clients and participate in their recovery as well. Some of them even participate in activities with clients. They deal with a lot at times and they handle it professionally and with compassion. The nurses also got to know me on a personal level. They genuinely care about the clients needs and well being. Medication time was always warm and welcoming. Also sometimes I would discuss any issues I was having and they would listen. I had a cardiac emergency from a genetic heart condition and the nurses worked hard to stabilize me. IT LITERALLY helped save my life. I am beyond grateful for this. 🙏 Tomorrow is my last day here after a 30 day stay. I can honestly say I will miss the staff and food from here. If you stay in GRATITUDE you can heal and grow here. We all have our moments, that is what recovery is. Learning to stick and stay with the plan, even when all you want to do is run! The staff here helped see me all the way to the finish line. I can honestly say I am very grateful to have come here. I celebrated 10 years no drinking this year, but there is more work to do 💪. Thank you Sunrise Staff, you helped me more than you know. I am speaking from a grateful heart. I am actually sad to leave and that says a lot about the staff I met here. They helped me heal and grow. Now it is time to put to work what I learned during my stay. ❤️‍🩹

I had a very positive experience at Sunrise Detox. Jeff Hamilton is an amazing counselor. He genuinely cares, listens, and has a way of helping you look at things differently without making you feel judged. Nate and Lawrence are also amazing chefs. The food was consistently good, and that may sound like a small thing, but when you're going through detox and having a difficult time physically and mentally, having good meals really does make a difference. The techs, nursing staff (Howard, Justin, Denise, Joi, Lisa, LeAnn, Beth, and Millie the Wonder Dog), and nurse practitioners (Brooke & James) were also very good. I felt like the majority of the staff truly cared about the people they were helping and understood how difficult detox can be. Detox is obviously not somewhere anyone wants to have to go, but the people at Sunrise made a very difficult situation much more manageable. I especially want to recognize Jeff, Nate, Lawrence, and Brooke for the impact they had on my experience. I am very grateful for the care and support I received while I was there.

Im currently a client on methadone that has moved from Ca. to Ga. It was spur of the moment with no time to make arrangements. I spoke with ERIC on Healthqwests csr dept based on New Jersey. Fyi. Ive been in tech supt, customer service, Quality Assurance & M.I.S. For over 30 yrs Ive worn a headset and have been helping customers. Ive ALWAYS gone above and beyond to help, which is why I can say that ERIC assessed my dilemma for what it was and did his best to move Heaven and earth for me to get me the help i needed 2 days ago. He had an entire queue to help and he took my case as personal as was needed to help me. Moving here I have to change my Medicaid to Ga. which is NOT ez or quick. And I, having heart disease and 5 stents in my heart from 2 heart attacks. Short version of of i didn't get help and go into withdrawl the strain on my heart would no doubt KILL me. The man devoted most of his day trying to get my situation straightened out. Im detailing this because I want you to know this was the BEST service ive ever received in my 60 plus years on this planet, and it happened when my literal life was on the line. Healthqwest cant be beat if you want genuine effort with your help. The prices are competitive but you can't go wrong using them. Ill answer any question or comment too. The medication I take is no joke. I take it for a broken back I got when I was year ended on my motorcycle at a red light. I take it for Pain mgmt. Its a serious subject and serious things happen with it....and more without it. Id be crippled, so you can see the magnitude of my plight. Eric knew and did everything he could. I cant say enough for them. Chris OBrien

Spero Health is such a wonderful place! Elliot at the front desk and the beautiful Miss Wanda the nurse definitely love what they do and you can tell. They are the reason I am sober today. They are not just employee’s, They are My family. They are the reasons I am still at Spero Health. Honestly, I would not be there if it wasn’t for both of them caring as much as they do about my well-being. Thank you for doing all that you do for my family. I hope this reaches both of you! I can’t say enough positive things about The Carter Center. From day one, the clinical team made me feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported. Their level of care goes beyond just professionalism, you can tell they truly care about each person’s recovery and long-term success. The curriculum is thoughtful, engaging, and applicable to real life, not just something to sit through. It challenged me in the best way and gave me tools I’ll carry with me moving forward. The housing component was also a huge part of my experience. It was clean, comfortable, and provided a safe, structured environment that made it easier to focus on healing and growth. What stands out most is how much The Carter Center believes in its clients. They don’t just get you through the program, they help you believe in yourself again. I’m leaving with confidence, clarity, and a real sense that my success in recovery is possible. I’m incredibly grateful for this experience and would highly recommend it to anyone seeking help.

I knew when I walked in the door and saw Sheby's weloming face that my life was about to change. And I was ready for it. The caring staff and counselors Nick, Jeremy, Aaleyah, Tatiana, Stephen, and especially Rachel have given me lots of new tools to add to my arsenal to help keep me sober. Every day they challenged me and called me on my bull. They also supported me when i needed while also not allowing me to stay rooted in the same place. Truly the best part of TCTC are the other clients. Connecting with people going through similar things, people who shared hopes and dreams for a sober future. The friendships i made there gives me alot of hope for our futures. If u also do housing the apartments u stay in is in a nice community located near an outlet mall and tons of other businesse. U will feel safe in the accomodations. The housing staff also work tirelessly to make sure u have what u need. Hillary and Fallon are just a two in housing that always hear you and fight for u. Ultimately the goal is longterm sobriety and i couldn't have a better team fighting for me. Thank u TCTC for all that u have given me!

I had a very nice experience at the Carter Treatment Center. The counselors Stephen, Tatiana, Alleyah ,Jeremy, Rachael, and Nick were all great. Each one of them bought a nice mix of their styles of teaching. Nick spent a great deal of time helping me with several things that I needed help with. This also made my time here a lot less stressful and I amvery greatful for his help. My counselor/Therapist Stephen was also a big help in helping me with the process of sending in the necessary paperwork that I needed for my situation and I am also greatful for his much-needed help. I would strongly recommend this facility for anyone needing help with their substance use issues.

This is a clean clinic and has many great qualities that can very much help your road to sobriety! However, the main issue here is the CONSTANT councilor change! As soon as one gets comfortable with their counselor, they leave. It is such piece of mind to build a relationship with your councilor and the nurses, just so you can have that report and someone that knows you and can be in your corner if ever needed. There are alot of patients that are not there for the right reasons, then there are also alot of patients that ARE there for the right reasons. The constant change certainly does not give one peace of mind. Familiar faces change places. I can not help but think its the higher ups not doing what is necessary to keep them happy in their workplace. Its sad really! Seeing consistency is very important, especially for addicts working on their road to recovery! Otherwise I do believe this is a good place that has alot to offer addiction recovery for the ones who truly want it!

If the Recovery services that are offered by this center are needed, I can't think of a better place to go! Woodstock treatment center has professional Counselors that are non-judgemental, kind and empathetic, (shout out to Lindsay!) developing a plan of care tailored to the individual's needs so recovery though painful is attainable. As a bonus it is affordable even if you do not have insurance. The only negative is lack of parking.

I have been a client with Georgia hope for a year now via zoom/teams teletherapy. My first therapist was so amazing she was the one. She was the one who inspired me to get my bachelor's degree in Psychology for mental health. Then go for my masters to become an LPC. Well she ended up moving onto another job in April of this year. Then I got my new one end of April. I loved her too but sadly she's going somewhere else too. I see the new one next week. Even though I gave 5 stars I am bummed I keep getting new therapist. I didn't even find out about my new one until she called me today to tell me the news. I feel as if that shouldn't be happening as for some people like myself bringing up their trauma every time with a new therapist causes ptsd for weeks.

I have been going to this treatment center since August. In that amount of time I have seen people heal from opiate addiction to move on to healthier and better lives. I will say that the counselors at this clinic care deeply about each one of the people who walks through the door every day. If you struggle with addiction, I would suggest calling and talking to one of the counselors. Truly they care.

Broke down up here in Blairsville on our way home to Marietta. Needed to guest dose for 3 days and they ended up going above and beyond to do what they could to help us. Extremely thankful for this place. The director is definitely a lot more helpful and nice than the director at our home clinic. Definitely recommending them to anyone that needs them in this area. Providence Recovery Place is truly a beacon of hope and healing. The professional, caring staff, many of whom have personally walked the recovery path, create a powerful community where lives are transformed. I've witnessed countless residents return to work, to family, and to continue their education, a testament to the program's lasting impact. One resident endearingly described Our Master's Camp as the 'brotherhood of the broken'—a compassionate, faith-filled community that helps break the chains of addiction and find true hope in Christ ... a real healing community. Through my work listening and documenting residents' stories, I am deeply impressed by the strong faith, genuine care, and remarkable success stories of so many whose lives have been changed. This is more than recovery; it’s a life restored.
