Hi. I just want to say this is a great facility for detoxing and peer support. But, when I came here I was not able to receive the medication I needed when I found the one that worked. I told my doctor that the adavan the nurses were giving me worked and that I was calm and aware of my surroundings. He said to take lithium and I said No because I have been on so many drugs in the past and they did not work, that because I knew the adavan worked to give me that. I started arguing with him and then I left without any medication except for the one pill that actually worked the first night I got there. So now it's been 5 months and I still have the same underlying problems; paranoia, anxiety, negative energy, hate, anger, and pessimism. I just want the nurses and health aides to know they are very good people and do a good job and the psychiatrist is a big fat nimrod with a paper shredder degree. Thank you.

I'm not sure who you spoke to however Highland Rivers Health does accept private pay. They have a sliding scale fee system. They no longer accept commercial insurance. Monday and Wednesday are Open Access days starting at 8 am.. Intakes are done on a first come first serve basis except for individuals who are hospital release or crisis appointments. You need a GA ID, SSA card, of and proof of income. They'll give you time to get proof of income and SSA card. That staff works really hard to provide the best care possible to all the individuals they serve.

| Embark Behavioral Health - Benton in Benton, Tennessee, is an accredited residential mental and behavioral health treatment center and school. It’s based among the picturesque mountains of Tennessee. Support here is available to teen boys and young men. Flexible payment is available, and various insurance options are accepted. Embark Behavioral H | Treatments Programs Payment Options | Embark Behavioral Health in Benton, TN, was truly a lifeline for our family when we had no other hope. Our 13-year-old son just completed the program, and the transformation we ve seen in him is nothing short of incredible. His ability to regulate his anger has improved tremendously, and we feel more equipped as parents to support him moving forward.A huge part of this success is thanks to his therapist, Kevin, who was an absolute Godsend. Kevin has the patience of a saint and not only helped our son but also taught us as parents more than we ever thought possible. The guidance and support we received throughout this journey were life-changing.If you re on the fence about taking this step, I encourage you to do it. It s scary, but for us, it has been the best decision we ve ever made for our family. We are forever grateful to Embark!

If you are searching for a residential program, you have found it. I cannot express the true impact the team in Benton has had on our family. Beginning on day one, they tirelessly invested in not only our son, but our family as one unit. The support and care is unmatched and we are so grateful. They have helped us restore the peace, understanding, and love within our family.

Our 15-year-old son went to Embark on 12/2/24 and was discharged on 3/9/25. Before Embark, he struggled with a whirlwind of emotions that made day to day activities difficult for him and those around him. He had been in therapy since he was 3 and we felt like we were just spinning our wheels and going in circles. The anger and aggression was escalating and property destruction was frequent. Our son struggled with low self esteem, communicating with others, intrusive thoughts, suicidal ideations, and even a suicide attempt. After several acute stays and a lot of back and forth about what the next steps should be, we decided to give residential a try. After being denied by a few other facilities, we felt defeated. Then I saw an ad for Embark on my FB feed. After combing through the website, I called. The process was fairly easy and VERY thorough, which I loved. When we got the call that there was a bed available, I was so nervous. I hadn't spent more than a week away from any of my kids and here I was about to send a part of my heart off to some strange place nearly 8 hours away from home and trust strangers to care for him. From the moment that we stepped foot in the front door, we were welcomed with open arms and treated like family. The knots that were in my stomach began to fade away and I knew that he was in good hands. Chris was our son's therapist. He challenged our son to think on a deeper level and access some things that he buried a long time ago. He treated our son with compassion and structure that was much needed and we cannot thank him enough. The residential and rec staff are amazing as well, and have really made a lasting impact on our son. Chef Dan was amazing and took time to listen to our son when he needed to talk (our son has a passion for cooking, too). School has always been tough for our son. At Embark, he recieved the supports that he needed and actually started to enjoy learning again. Each staff member got to know our son and it was so nice to hear other people point out his strengths instead of focusing on the things that he struggles with.Family Days were well thought out and engaging. Each activity allowed us to learn more about our son and ourselves. We were able to realize things that needed to change in our family system. We were challenged to see things through the eyes of our child, and with that came a lot more understanding, communication, and grace with each other. When we got the call that our son would be discharging, it was bittersweet. He was a little sad to leave his friends and the staff that he became so fond of. We were nervous about how things would go when we returned home. The transition planning was done wonderfully. Ian helped us make sure that everything was set up back home (therapy, meds, school). He even sat in on an IEP meeting that occurred over a week after discharge and has followed up with us to make sure things were going well.We are very pleased with the progress that our son has made in the short 3 months that he was there. He made real connections with peers; something that he has struggled doing since he was little. He learned to embrace the things that make him unique. He discovered talents that he didn't know he had. He experienced things that he likely would not have experienced at home.Since returning home, he has definitely gotten frustrated and angry (it is inevitable with 4 siblings). The difference is that he has learned so many skills and how to implement those skills at the right time. Situations that would have escalated to thrown/smashed furniture and screaming that lasted hours three months ago are now a few huffs and puffs and a little grunting that lasts minutes. We have definitely noticed his efforts in using his coping skills since he's been home and I am so proud of all the hard work that he has put in and the growth he has shown.I would 100% recommend Embark at Benton to anyone who is looking into residential treatment for their son. If we ever get to a point where it's needed again, we know where we will calling first.

I have been through a couple of rehabs, both were great experiences in their own way, but I greatly appreciated the staff here, from techs to nurses to counselors. Many have been through recovery themselves, and the level of care and empathy was apparent from day 1. They handled my detox well... I still had symptoms, which is expected, but they made me as comfortable as possible. I'm not sure where the negative feedback is coming from, because after my brother passed and I relapsed, they did everything possible to help get me back on the right track. The groups are educational and worth attending, and I absolutely loved small group and Experiential days. Charlie, Julia, Jen, Deb, Alexa, John, and Jess were all amazing and truly cared about our recovery. Highly recommend for anyone who is ready to start their recovery journey. Thank you, Blue Ridge.

The facility currently accepts several major insurance providers like United HealthCare, Humana, Aet | Treatments Programs Payment Options | My oh my! What can I say about Black Bear!? During my time at Black Bear I was rebellious at first because I'm an Addict. After getting settled, I realized that Black Bear Lodge is more than a rehab... it is a spiritual, holistic retreat! The walks from cabins to the different centers and the theater was amazing. I was physically unfit because of my alcoholism. When I left Black Bear I was much stronger physically and mentally. The counselors are so amazing and attentive. I had Corey my first time and Susan my second time (took me two times but that's neither here nor there lol. They were so empathetic. The nurses were amazing! Ms. Sylvia was the best nurse I ever had! Her daughter Jess was a tech and she was so caring and understanding. I had fun during my stay. I met some very comical people that I still stay in contact with to this day. Today I am almost 1 year and 1 month sober! I couldn't be here without the self care and mental health information that I learned from Black Bear! The food was great! The chef even caters to special diets (vegan, vegetarian, lactose intolerance). The staff really cares about the clients. I could go on and on about Black Bear and my review is jumbled because there is just so much good there! Detox was great, recovery was great, cabins were amazingly beautiful and relaxing, classes were informative, nursing was amazing...even the van drivers were awesome, so funny and caring. The off campus AA meetings were a good experience and prepares you for going to meetings after you get discharged. The administrative staff and discharge coordinators are great. Loved Melissa and the two Amandas and the many Heathers lol! I can't remember all the names but I love them all! I would honestly go to Black Bear just to chill if they allowed alumni to do that! Anyways, there might be some things that you may not like but if you are humble, open and vulnerable you can have an amazing experience at Black Bear Lodge Recovery!

I just left here, and while I hope I never have to go back to another facility, if I did, it would be here. I ve seen a lot of the negative reviews, and all I can say to them is that I m sorry they had those experiences, but of course there is going to be a measurable amount of chaos in a facility like this.People don t go to a place like this on their best days. Us addicts and alcoholics can be a tough bunch to deal with on our best days, let alone when we re in agony coming off of our substances.Every staff member I met with was not only helpful but also friendly and extremely accommodating. If you treat them like people (and even if you don t, in most cases), they will treat you the same in return. Patrick checked me in, and while I m sure he got a laugh out of my state, he was sure to let me know how my stay would go, that I had what I needed, and that I had some sense of orientation before I passed out my first night. The remainder of my stay was uneventful, but they made sure I had an adequate level of care. If you re looking to get loaded for a week for a tolerance break, this likely isn t the spot for you. If you re looking to be comfortable while you figure out what your next steps are, then there s really not much else I could have asked for (though a hot tub would be sweeeeeet). The food was food. It s not Michelin star, but pretty good and better than most of us were eating before we got there. There s tv s in the rooms, plenty of common area space, etc.I had a bit of a unique work situation, and Nicole, the clinical director, worked with me to put together a plan that would ensure my wellbeing but still allow me to keep my livelihood, letting me know the different paths and the pluses/minuses of all of them. All in all, I can t say I enjoyed my stay solely due to the nature of it, but for what it was, it was more than adequate and more than I expected. The techs, nurses, therapists, and clinical staff all worked together as well as could be humanly expected when dealing with 20+ people who are in physical and mental turmoil. There s always going to be some cracks, but It s detox, not the Caesar s Palace in Vegas.Thank you all again for the help, and I hope I never see you again unless it s outside those 4 walls.

I have never gone to a detox or anything of the sorts and in my opinion it was a 5 star resort- a friend I made while there and I still joke that we want to go back for a vacation/ break fromLife and of course for the cheesecake haha. In all reality though / sunrise is an incredible facility. I hope to never need to reenter a detox of any sorts but if godforbid I ever need to or run into anyone that needs to my recommendation is sunrise Alpharetta without a doubt!

They are state licensed and Joint Commi | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I just wanted to give this place a huge shout out. If it wasn't for this program, I don't know where I'd be. Harmony actually saved my life, from figuring out my personallaty disorder at Summit, to the treatment at Oaks. By this, I have been able to feel myself again.Nick, Jarrett, Dani, Steph and the others in the clinical building, this team is out of this world. They are thoughtful, frindly, but still are stern and keep things in order while makin you feel understood. The techs at the housing, which is amazing by the way, are also the best group of people out there. Sam, Hub, Gino, Crystal, Steve, George, and Teri. (I'm sure I'm missing a few here) are so caring. They listen, they talk with you, give great advice, and you honestly know they care. It's this weird dynamic of freedom and keeping the rules tight, but they make it work so you feel safe and can work on your goals. If you're looking for Mental Healt treatment, I can't reccomend this facility enough. I spent 4 months between residential and Housing, and it was the best decision I could have made.

Crossroads Treatment Center of Northwest Georgia has a clinic in Ri | Treatments Programs Payment Options | Edit: April 2025 - They have finally gotten enough dosing nurses in the past few months so i felt it was fair to update my review and score. The other update is that Alicia is no longer my counselor. It has been Kimberly for at least 2 years now and she is Amazing! With that said ive left the original review as is for anyone to read. The bad rating is for whoever runs the company.Heres why: The employees are great. With maybe one or two exceptions everyone who works there does a GREAT job. From Joy at the cash office to Jen doing all purpose everything, to Alicia counseling, to Dr. Adeshina, to the dosing nurses. Sadly there are only 3 dosing nurses now. 4 when they pull someone back thats transitioning to counselor. There needs to be AT LEAST 4 dosing nurses a day if not 5. Also each counselor has at least 60 patients. I was told one has 80 now.It costs 13 a day for medicine. Thats 364 per month. Since there are 10 counselors if not more that means there are 600 patients at a minimum. Do the math 600 multiplied by 364. Thats 2.6 million a year, on the low end, in revenue. The employees need to be paid more! If they were it wouldnt be constantly short of dosing nurses. It seems like half of the ones hired dont even stay for s year. Some just walk out on the place. There should be more counselors as well.Whoever owns the place can afford to pay more. Since the owners dont even work there just collect money from the workers. Since capitalism is basically a pyramid scheme but thats for another time and place. Most of us patients would even gladly pay more money if it meant getting and keeping more employees. Its not convenient to have to spend an hour and twenty minutes to dose like today. Or even a half hour to 45 minutes most other days.Get it together owners of crossroads. If you dont people will leave and wont come back. There are plenty of other options now and outside of volunteer clinic they are all better. At least as far as how much time you have to spend there. Its not hard. Ive been to another state where you are never there more than 5 minutes. You pay weekly so its no daily line there. They call ur number to one of 3 dosing windows 5 feet away thru a door. The dosing nurses asks your social and last name and then hands you a cup of your dose and you leave.Get it fixed soon. Your patients deserve it and your workers are amazing and over worked and deserve better pay.

I am so grateful for crossroads. I moved to Chattanooga for a job opportunity and I decided to go to crossroads as I had 6 yrs in recovery on suboxone but It got to where I couldn t afford the doctor and the medication. When I started i crossroads I was ready to make real change and work on my self and all of my issues that caused me to use. Little by little I started to feel like me but a better me. After about 2 months in treatment I started a small construction business. Knowing absolutely nothing about it but I succeeded and became very successful. I start making really good money and I expressed to my counselor that if I had been in control of that amount of money I would have been dead but instead I became responsible I started paying bills and doing things that I had dreamed of being able to do but was never quite able too. Crossroads has helped me have a whole new life an amazing life. I started making Amends to everyone I had hurt unless it would have caused more harm. One by one I fixed relationships that had been broken for 15-16 years. I am so thankful for crossroads. I have never been able to talk to counselors without feeling judged or embarrassed but here I was able to open up and talk about everything. This place is amazing. I have never met people that where actually in this line of work to help but they are. And joy, Jenn, the doc , the nurses and counselors they all make it possible. 10 out of 10 for sure and I recommend them to anyone I come in contact with that needs help. My husband passed away unexpectedly January 4th of 2024 and my counselor helped me through it to the best of her ability. Before I came here had that happened I would have totally relapsed and given up on life. I ll stop going on but they are amazing.

My experience at this place has been good but be mindful that most counselors are great but there are a couple there that really do not seem to care so if your gut tells you early on that you should get a new one defiantly do that and always pray ask for guidance and strength for the Heavenly Father is always there for each of us. Happy New Year be safe and keep the faith.

If the Recovery services that are offered by this center are needed, I can't think of a better place to go! Woodstock treatment center has professional Counselors that are non-judgemental, kind and empathetic, (shout out to Lindsay!) developing a plan of care tailored to the individual's needs so recovery though painful is attainable. As a bonus it is affordable even if you do not have insurance. The only negative is lack of parking.
