What an outstanding experience at Four County, I enjoyed talking to my counselor, she actually seemed to care about her patients unlike some of my past counselors at other facilities, there is a structured program to follow that helps you to stay sober! I would recommend this center to anyone who needs a real change!

My son goes here and gets therapy sessions weekly. He is very comfortable with the lady, she's very helpful. The only issue was lafayette office missed placed our two checks, then found found a month later. Other than that my son is improving n calmer.

FCRC has been amzing place for recovery. I came here for PHP and IOP and have had great instructors and therapist. Being a veteran and getting teamed up with a veteran therapist was so beneficial for my recovery cause he understood what ive been through and was able to help me out in areas where I struggled. I heard about this facility from a friend and I decided to give it a try. The program works really well if you put in the work. I can't stand the negative reviews. YES I WAS THERE. Six months ago, I almost didn't stay but I did. Such incredible staff and an incredible program. Met some of the greatest people to ever want to change their life around. Residential was amazing. PHP also an incredible program attended both with full support from all staff and peers. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND RECOVERY WORKS TO ANYONE WHO WANTS TO BETTER THEMSELVES.

I’ve seen some of the negative reviews here, and I wanted to share a different perspective. This is difficult work. The staff often meet people on some of the hardest days of their lives, and those situations aren’t always easy.
I’ve personally seen staff deal with some incredibly difficult circumstances, and I’ve been impressed by the patience, kindness, and professionalism they show. Are things always perfect? Of course not. But there are a lot of really good people here who care about what they do and genuinely want to help.
I think that deserves to be said, too.

After completing inpatient rehabilitation, I transitioned into the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) at Parkdale Center and I can say with my whole heart that it was one of the most life-changing and soul-healing experiences I’ve ever had. Parkdale didn’t just help me continue my recovery, they helped me to continue to find myself again. They believed in me, held space for my pain, and gave me the tools and encouragement to continue to rise stronger than I ever thought possible.
From the leadership to the support staff, everyone at Parkdale exudes compassion, professionalism, and a deep commitment to healing. But what makes Parkdale truly exceptional are people like Rigo and Claudia. They treated me not like a number or a case, but like family. There was zero judgment, only humility, kindness, and an unwavering belief in my potential. Rigo felt like a steady big brother, firm when needed, but always full of heart. Claudia radiates warmth and made me feel safe, seen, and cared for in a way that felt almost sacred. These two, and so many others at Parkdale (like Dr. Chris, Denise, Ty, David) restored my faith in people and reminded me that recovery is possible when you’re surrounded by those who genuinely care.

Having used their facilities for our Union members and for a family member, the counselors are caring, responsive, and communicate very well on a treatment plan and objectives & goals. Ms Tori awesome!!!!! The group meetings and accountability for each other in treatment works in a great atmosphere. I would strongly recommend this facility if a friend, co-worker, and family members are in need of help with addictions and/or mental health. It is located in chesterton nearby for visitation purposes.

If they took my insurance which covers everything, it would def be a better experience. However the choice between using and taking my medicine is clear to me and worth the money in the end. However it is a program that you have to work for yourself. No one can do it for you.

Let me just say I was a patient at Medmark for years and above everything no matter what because they open at 4:45 AM says it all. They generally want to meet everyday people’s needs to live a normal life.In and out the door before 5am to do what you need to do w your life. Try and find another clinic that does that for you. You won’t. Working men and women this your clinic. Just no weed. Sorry.

I do not typically do these reviews however I felt very strongly I needed to. I have been in the program for over 7 years. The program honestly saved my life after trying several other things. My addiction became like most had back problems and my doctors were very free to prescribe the opioids and benzodiazepines. Xanax was actually the worst for me hospitalized for over 10 days due to all the seizures. Anyways the nurses Yolanda Jackie Val are sweethearts and have never judged me once. Yolanda is the one person who always tells me she is proud of me I don’t even hear that from family. Kim who runs front desk is also great. In my experience I have had around 6 counselors and sorry to say this is the downfall here. I don’t know if they are overworked micromanaged or just don’t care but I have had to go elsewhere for my counseling. I have promise for my new counselor April who is new to this location. Since starting she has been on top on my case not letting anything slide. She gets accomplished what the 5 others took months to do and I appreciate that. Non judgmental follow-up and just caring she accomplishes where most can’t and this is what keeps me clean and alive and I thank her for that more than I can say. Doctor is a different story for a different day I will just say to the women ask that a third person be in the room. That’s all!

JOCELYN is the reason I will no longer be donating to YWCA North Central Indiana after approximately a YEAR of consistently donating BRAND-NEW clothing from my fashion business.
I own a fashion business, and I regularly have brand-new clothing that I cannot use due to sizing, incorrect orders, overstock, etc. Instead of letting perfectly good clothing go to waste, I’ve been donating these items to YWCA North Central Indiana so women and girls who need them can benefit. These are not old, worn-out clothes—they are BRAND-NEW, quality fashion items.
For about a year, I have been allowed to drop these donations off. My husband will literally carry the bags inside the building and leave them where instructed. Because I run a business, I cannot always accommodate extremely limited or specific donation drop-off times, and this has never been an issue before.
Today, I spoke with JOCELYN and explained this. I told her I’ve been donating this way for approximately a year and that my husband could bring the bags directly inside. I was NOT asking anyone to stop what they were doing and sort through the clothing. All I needed was for someone to receive the bags and put them to the side until the appropriate person was available.
JOCELYN told me that she thought it would be better for me to FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE TO DONATE MY CLOTHES.
So that is exactly what I will do.
And honestly, the unfortunate part is that JOCELYN is not the person who would have benefited from these clothes. The women and girls receiving them would have. I’m sure many of them would have appreciated having access to brand-new clothing.
I completely understand having policies and limited staffing. What I do not understand is turning away someone who has consistently donated brand-new merchandise for approximately a year when I wasn’t even asking anyone to process or sort the donation immediately.
After supporting this organization for a year, being told by JOCELYN to simply find somewhere else to donate was extremely disappointing. I will gladly take my future donations to an organization that actually wants them and appreciates consistent community support.

I had been with Madison center before they were oaklawn I loved my mindfulness group not so much my med doctor my therapist Brenda chupp was awesome then I ended my services in 2015 cause I thought I felt better I was wrong.Icame back to oaklawn and did one group for about 5 weeks then I quit the group cause it was uncomfortable for me but I did get the same medication Dr.and I am in individual therapy and my therapist Monica koontz is a wonderful understanding helpful professional young lady.she reminds me of Brenda chupp.so a huge thank you Brenda chupp.I believe this time I am in a better place in my life then I was in 2015 because I am doing the work and listening more and experiencing more techniques in therapy.U would recommend oaklawn.believe in yourself your goals and do the work.i have make many changes and accomplished so much.thank you oaklawn I rate you 20 stars.

Very nice. My therapist was an intern but in the months I got to discuss my feelings with him, he was understanding, he listened, and he gave me realistic advice to work on. I do wish they had more staff but overall a great environment for people who struggle with mental health can get better.
