I have been around a lot of VA hospitals for various medical needs and this one has by far been the friendliest I’ve been to. The waiting room is comfortable, the staff are all super friendly, and the care is top notch. The Las Vegas locations could learn a lot from how Pahrump runs its show.

Praise the Lord! Thank you Jesus for U Turn for Christ in Pahrump, NV. I arrived at this discipleship program a completely broken and desperate individual. I was a horrible husband, a manipulative son, and a wicked neighbor. Fortunately the Son of Man had other plans for me. He said, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick.” (Mark 2:17) And to say I was sick was a vast understatement. I was one injection of fentanyl away from death. I had no intentions whatsoever of changing. I only attended U Turn to placate my family and the law. I had several warrants out for my arrest and a bounty hunter after me, yet the Lord used Pastor John and his patience plus persistence to reach me. When I finally submitted to his authority and actually read the word I was completely and radically transformed instantaneously from a son of satan into an adopted son of the most high God. I have been sober over 3 years now and my entire life is dedicated towards shining as a light pointing towards Christ and the work He did on the cross (Ephesians 5:8). I teach children’s ministry at Calvary Chapel in Carson Valley with my amazing wife Ana who also happened to be my first convert 😀. The Lord answered our heart’s desire when he gave us the most beautiful son ever who just turned one year old named Titus. Of course I owe all my gratitude towards the Father for drawing me near, the Son for dying for me and receiving me into His kingdom, and the Holy Spirit for transforming me into a new creation as well as sanctifying me. Pastor John and U Turn played an instrumental role within my regeneration and I will forever be grateful to everyone there. I had been to over 20 programs in my life before U Turn and attempted to beat my addiction via every worldly solution imaginable, yet now as I look back it was all rubbish until I had met Christ. I would highly recommend this program to anyone who wants eternal joy and is fed up with their addiction running their life. I came into the program April 2022, with the wrong motive. Meaning trying to impress my wife. Took a long time to realize that to change I needed to do it for me. We all have our own personal walk with our Lord and Savior.
I was there 15 months, amd yes it's a 8 month program. I was a late Bloomer. The first phase is hard, doing jobs in the community, and not seeing the rewards. But trust me they are waiting for you. I've had to dig a five by five hole. It took a lot to be disciplined. Thanks to me I made it easier. Sorry Pastor for the grey hairs.
I would like to address the negative comments about the digging holes in
112 temperature, and being left off at gas stations.
Phase one men don't dig till after 9pm and Pahrump is not 112 at night
Secondly phase 2 men can dig at any time, for any duration as long as it's done in 3 days, exceptions are made.
In regards to dropping men off at gas station, a call is made to inform friend or family, of situation. Men who walk off property are mostly welcome back, the punishment is digging a hole.
Hence in life we have a choice. I recommend this program. It's a working ranch, and yes they feed you good. They don't call it the u turn40 for a reason for a reason.

I attended Harris Springs Ranch / WESTCARE on the mountain towards the beginning 2018! I became The Camp Supervisor. Also getting Voted for a second term filling that position back to back . Total time a little over 3 months! I remember a great bunch of guy's that I considered close friend's. Melvin,Josh, Gabe,Danny , Mo. Just to name a few. I thought The counseling cast of employees were really good teachers, guides for acknowledging that life is best while sober. I think that The WESTCARE program is an awesome way to get a clean start back to the life of Joy and great health. LEO , who is I believe still in charge of organizing and scheduling everything for the Men in the program. Leo is a TRULY amazing man that has been through it all with substance addiction. I remember he showed us while he lived in LA he was on the News for when he hit rock bottom. But teaching us how to be better Men mentally, physically and emotionally!. He said something I will never forget... He said everyone attempts to quit multiple times. But when you are truly ready is when you have reached total exhaustion. Tired of the every day struggles. Tired of being on the top bunk in jail and having the bright lights from the ceiling blasting in your face. You can't turn those off but instead have to consistently be bothered by them. Leo is the best mentor, counselor, teacher that a program could have. I always had the UP most respect for him and what ALL he brings to that program. My last interaction with him was when we won our last basketball game. I remember Leo being damn good at basketball considering his age at the time. 2018 Graduate.

Took the Rock in December of 2005. Mike Richie was one of the more memorable councilors with his 4:30 a.m. formation call-out in the freezing weather just to tell you how great the weather is in the Bahamas. It's one of the most peaceful and beautiful places I've ever been to. I made a whole lot of great memories and friends up there. And would go back every summer to beat this Vegas heat and for the peace of mind this wonderful place on earth gives you. To all the brothers I found out there, I hope you're doing well and hope to see y'all again real soon!

So I was enrolled at the vogue house and was there for week or little more and then was in need to go to emergency room then which my hospital admitting cause me to lose my place In program....although everyone has been awesome an met alot of other people going through the same to continue their sobriety as well amazing strong people.....I felt I was treated unfairly because I was in a hospital bed not amusement park and left the facility in an ambulance
I loved seeing and being part of the program but one shouldn't be kicked out do to hospital stay

Highly recommend very good counselors too. Whatever you need is there, it's tough to be homeless but if you keep a positive mindset get yourself together it's great. Tough to get along with every woman there but what matters is your needs are met and God has plans for everyone who works hard to stay sober and try to be kind to others. The PTSD is real there! Don't expect to have everything u want, it's everything you need! Be greatful and enjoy the journey God bless 🙏!

I had a really positive experience at Desert Hope Treatment Center in Las Vegas. The staff were one of the biggest reasons I enjoyed my time there. They were caring, supportive, and genuinely wanted to see me succeed. The food was also surprisingly good, and having decent meals made a big difference during treatment. Most importantly, the program helped me a lot personally and gave me tools and support that I can take with me moving forward. I’m grateful for the people I met, the staff who helped me along the way, and the experience as a whole. I would definitely recommend Desert Hope to someone who is serious about making a change and getting their life back.

I stayed with Luxe for 40+ days and i can only say good things. The director and therapist(s) are experienced and actually care. The techs are awesome. The nurses and doctors are all amazing and provided me with some of the best healthcare I’ve experienced. A lot of the staff is in recovery also with lots of clean time. Oh, and unlike many other treatment centers, the contact person actually is honest about what you can expect!

You have class from when you wake up (breakfast) until the very end (9-10pm) my favorite part was “YOGA W BILLY” and along with the awesome staff! I visited Nestled Recovery Center last week and was really impressed with the personal attention I received. Alex and the team are truly outstanding! They went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and felt welcomed throughout my visit. You can tell they genuinely care about their patients and aren’t just waiting for time to pass. The nursing staff were incredibly qualified and professional, which gave me confidence in the level of care provided here.
What really stood out to me was how personal and flexible everything felt. There’s no strict, stingy corporate atmosphere like you might find elsewhere. It feels like a place where individual needs actually matter. The facilities are beautiful and well maintained, and the grounds create a really peaceful environment.

If u are withdrawing from Kratom 7OH or whatever it’s called make sure you go in person for your official doctors visit because if you do it virtual and you get this one girl doctor she won’t prescribe you any medication for some reason. Ive been going to BHG for about 5 months now and I've never had a bad experience! The nurses have ALWAYS been nice to me even when I didnt always pass my UA's. They NEVER made me feel judged at all which is something I truly appreciate. The front desk lady is always in a great mood and she does her job fantastically!
The only complaint I do have is since they changed their hours, I called and told them I was 2 minutes away and if they can hold the door open for me and she said no in a very rude way. Other then this BHG is AMAZING and I would recommend it to any addict trying to get clean or even if you had a small lapse, go get help! They will go out of there way to make you feel comfortable.
And of course I wanted to give a shout out to the BEST consular there... Anthony! He is never pushy, easy to talk to and open up with and he doesnt expect perfection or make me feel judged or bad about myself in any way. He is a true goddess and he deserves a raise!! Lol 😆🙌🌈🖤🙏

I recently spoke with Alex by phone after experiencing two deaths in my family related to alcoholism. Those losses prompted me to seek help, and my first step was understanding what treatment would entail. As the first person in my family to seek help, I appreciated having someone explain the process and answer my questions.
I initially called about outpatient care. Alex explained that the service currently available was detox, which she described as a stay of approximately seven to ten days. She explained that medication is provided during alcohol detox, patients wear scrubs, and they meet with a case manager. She also let me know that they accept Nevada SilverSummit insurance.
We discussed leaving against medical advice, also called AMA. Understanding that seeking help did not mean giving up my ability to make decisions was reassuring. When you seek help, you want to feel safe, informed, and supported. You do not want the help itself to become another source of hurt.
Alex also explained how to schedule an assessment for outpatient treatment. My understanding from our conversation was that they require a period without alcohol or drugs beforehand, approximately three to four days, and conduct drug testing upon arrival. These were details I needed to understand as I explored my options.
Thank you, Alex, for taking the time to walk me through this first step. After two losses in my family, this conversation meant more than a simple explanation of services. We need people like you in this field, and I am grateful to have found you as I begin seeking help.

Newer, non-smoking, handicap accessible, secure, short term drug & alcohol detox facility. First came through in 2016, when it first opened, on my way to a 90 day Westcare residential program. Now I have 4.5 years clean and sober. I visit monthly to speak to clients about getting recovery, because this is where my new life first began, and I am grateful. It is what you make it. Staff works very hard, and will help you with many resources for recovery. But you have to ask!

I recently moved from Arizona and before I came into this house I moved to another sober living (not this one) and that house did not work out for me so I luckily found this one. The reason I say that because unlike other houses, here at New lyfe solutions the house manager works here at the house meaning he's actively involved helping you in your recovery and making you self sufficient. He will guide you to your meetings show you were they are and not only that. Push recovery upon you. If any parents or family members is reading this review wondering if this house is right for their loved ones. I can say that they won't be just on vacation here Carlos pushes recovery onto the men here. Not because he has to but he truly wishes the best for everyone here at the home. If ur anything like me and need real structure to have the best shot too regaining your life back. And start living not surviving. Come give it a shot! Nothing but great things here.
Oh yeah Carlos the house manager helps out with grocery runs weekly which goes long way so you don't carry heavy water, soda, fruit, watermelon, etc back on your own.
