I wish that the rest of the VA worked this well. Honestly, over half the VA works very well but this clinic is outstanding. I would recommend Dr. Scheffield to be the next Surgeon General but I wouldn't want to lose him.

The Blairsville clinic is the BEST place to go for healthcare in Georgia! The staff is very helpful, informative and friendly. The waiting room is clean and comfortable. I got my life back because of willow and I’m thankful every single day. I will ALWAYS recommend Willow to others looking for help and know they are in great care.
Jenny, the director is such a loving and caring woman that really goes above and beyond for her patients and her employees. All of the techs and the therapist got me through the hardest parts of my life and helped to pull me out of a black hole I never thought I could escape.

I came to Willow Ridge at the lowest point in my life. I was scared and didn't know where to turn. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel safe and supported. The counselors are compassionate and truly understand addiction. The therapy sessions were incredibly helpful, and I learned so much about myself and the underlying causes of my addiction.
What sets Willow Ridge apart is the sense of community. I connected with other patients who were going through similar struggles, and we supported each other every step of the way. The group activities and outings were also a lot of fun and helped me rediscover some of my passions.
Today, I am sober and living a life beyond my wildest dreams, and I owe it all to the amazing team at Willow Ridge. If you're struggling with addiction, please don't hesitate to reach out to them. It was the best decision I ever made!!

Embark has been such a great experience for both my 17 year old son and me and his father. It’s intense as it is a 3 month long residential program, but I feel like everyone at Embark really cares about making things better for young boys that are neurodivergent and have behavioral issues. The staff works really hard to help the boys develop better coping skills so that they can be successful in life. The program also helps parents by providing tools for parenting children that are atypical. I can say that our son’s counselor Kevin truly made a difference in all of our lives. Our son would agree too. The weekly parent support group was helpful in that parents can connect and realize that you’re not alone. The other staff, psychiatrist, nurses are all very communicative and committed to what they do. We as a family are in a much better place now because of Embark.

Our soon attended Embark for 90 days. During his stay he learned many skills to help him better navigate day to day life. He also learned a lot about himself, allowing him to communicate effectively about his feelings and what maybe upsetting him. It was a process - but everyone came out a better person on the other end. Great facility and a super great staff.

The ten-week CASP program is one of the best Recovery programs in WNC. While other Pyramid programs are half full of people who were "pushed" there (by DSS, the Judge, their PO, their spouse) but CASP was full of 9 men who really want to stay clean. Before coming to October Road, I felt completely hopeless. I had been through treatment for alcohol 15 times, often labeled a "chronic relapser." Failure and rejection became familiar companions, and life left me feeling scarred, broken, and too afraid to try again.
But yesterday, I graduated. And for the first time in a long time, I felt surrounded by real love and respect. The support I received here was different—it was genuine, consistent, and life-changing. I’ve never felt more seen or valued.

Marci and Liz are AWESOME!!!! Being in a house with 13 other females can be a challenge but the program itself is a really good program if you work it. You put effort into it and you will succeed and get what you need but if you halfass it it's not going to help. Staff was very compassionate and helpful. Food was AMAZING

The VA has been so very helpful since my husband' s stroke last year. Everyone at the clinic is super nice and helpful. Dr. Coldwell is the best. He listens and has great suggestions and advice. This is a clean clinic and has many great qualities that can very much help your road to sobriety! However,the main issue here is the CONSTANT councilor change! As soon as one gets comfortable with their counselor, they leave. It is such piece of mind to build a relationship with your councilor and the nurses, just so you can have that report and someone that knows you and can be in your corner if ever needed. There are alot of patients that are not there for the right reasons, then there are also alot of patients that ARE there for the right reasons. The constant change certainly does not give one peace of mind. Familiar faces change places. I can not help but think its the higher ups not doing what is necessary to keep them happy in their workplace. Its sad really! Seeing consistency is very important, especially for addicts working on their road to recovery!
Otherwise I do believe this is a good place that has alot to offer addiction recovery for the ones who truly want it!

If the Recovery services that are offered by this center are needed, I can't think of a better place to go! Woodstock treatment center has professional Counselors that are non-judgemental, kind and empathetic, (shout out to Lindsay!) developing a plan of care tailored to the individual's needs so recovery though painful is attainable. As a bonus it is affordable even if you do not have insurance. The only negative is lack of parking.

The Wiillows saved my life! If you are considering going to rehab don't waste another day call the Willows today!!! I know it's scary not knowing a place that your going but trust me this place will change your life if you will give them a chance to help you! All the staff are amazing and you will ❤️ every councilor you have. The other clients will become your best friends for life. The program is amazing and will be motivited especially for you. The Willows is located in a beautiful setting. It's a layed back community and a place to heal your heart as much as your mind! I really wished it could have stayed longer burned my insurance only covered 60 days. I miss this plagce and everyone there every day.

I recently was discharged from the Willows. Overall, I had a great experience. I would however like to tell people that there are some things that they don’t share with you before you go. You’re not able to get a hold of your family for the first seven days when you’re there. It’s called a blackout period. I realize that this does give you a chance to settle down and get to know people around you. This was not told to me over the phone during my assessment. Also, be prepared to have to advocate for yourself. There are a lot of rules in the program that are not explained to clients. Make sure you ask for reasoning. This was really hard for me to get answers from some of the staff members due to changes in staff daily. Make sure to look up equine therapy before you go. Be prepared for outings to be canceled due to staff issues. Even with these small inconveniences , I really do think this is a great place for people trying to find help. Honestly if you need a program for rehab or trauma try to stay as long as you can. A lot of of the fellow clients that I was in with seem to enjoy the program the longer they stayed. I really hope this post helps. You deserve the best and I hope everyone finds peace.

The VA has been so very helpful since my husband' s stroke last year. Everyone at the clinic is super nice and helpful. Dr. Coldwell is the best. He listens and has great suggestions and advice. My husband is getting great care at the VA. My only complaint is that it sometimes takes a long time to get an appointment.

This benefit is to help veterans that don't have a way of getting to their medical Doctor appointment.. Free of charge to Veterans and is a valuable service..So please post comments, if you use the service call VTS or post your thoughts on this benefit we veterans have. Call and inform Congressman Tim Burchett Office..So that he can fight for us veterans in Washington DC and "VTS" program will not be cut off by Government budget cuts.."VTS" is in high demand in this area I use it alot and so many other veterans..
